Miori had to admit she never really liked leaving Kaze no Kuni, even on small pointless missions such as her most recent one. Sending her so far away implied a degree of trust, an improvement over what she had before as the cursed child. Such a change was confirmation of the very anxiety inducing change that the tanned woman had spent years trying to avoid! There was of course the possibility that her reputation had gotten worse, and that the recent pattern of far away missions would continue; a way to keep her as far from Sunagakure as possible for her inevitable detonation. This was somehow even worse than the idea of gaining trust; as not only did it confirm an equal amount of change in a more negative light- but it also meant that she would be unable to continue her rounds as the enigmatic Lady of the Dunes, which meant any good she had done with her time would quickly come undone.

Despite this growing anxiety, the fact that this mission had placed her within the Hot Springs Country was a chance for indulgence the young magenta eyed shinobi would never allow to pass without thorough enjoyment. The young woman would enter one of the many hot springs only after she was certain none of her team members had also happened to enter this exact one; hoping she could allow herself the luxury of no longer needing to keep up the illusion that she was still her younger self. For this brief moment of relaxation, Miori could just be herself. Slowly and steadily Miori would allow herself to step into the hot spring, covering her body in a towel as she sank into the water. The kunoichi would allow herself a loud sigh as all six of her arms began to loose tension in the water.

Raika herself had finally been allowed an excursion to leave Konohagakure, now that her time in the village of Kawa had come to a close; while they had still needed to do some paperwork to set her up with her team of fellow genin and officially welcome her back to Konoha proper after the completion of her mission, now that that particular part of her reintegration had been done, she was being allowed to take a short vacation, no more than a week, to any neutral area or part of Konoha that she liked. She'd heard of a land full of hot springs, and after having spent so much time in the nasty, grimy swampland of Kawa, she definitely needed to have some nice, steamy water to relax in. She'd even packed a swimsuit for the occasion, and after letting her Jounin escort go and do some relaxation of their own, she'd ended up checking herself out in the small mirror her temporary locker had on the inside of the hinged grating. She had to admit that the black two-piece did feel a little revealing, but it also looked great, and with so much of her musculature exposed, she also felt quite attractive. With a playful smirk, she licks her finger and then presses it to her out-thrust hip, making a sizzling noise towards the mirror. She seemed to not feel very self-conscious about it. Raika closes the locker and firmly locks it down to make sure nobody can get into her things. The security in such a neutral area was very high anyway, as one would expect in a land that had few enemies and seemed intent on keeping it that way.

This is gonna be soooo good.

She steps into the hotsprings herself, with the steamy air causing her skin to momentarily stand out in goosebumps before the sensation passes, and she notices she's not quite alone. Another woman, about her age but quite a bit shorter, was already relaxing in the pool of hot water, wearing a towel of her own. Raika placed her own towel a few meters from the edge of the hotspring, ensuring that it'll stay dry before she slips into the water herself, letting out a long, soft sigh into the air as her muscular body is on full display for a good while. She finally takes another good look at her new temporary companion, rather enjoying the somewhat exotic and dark look of her, both in her slightly darker skin and her hair and eyes. Such an appearance was rare in Konoha, as well as in Kawa, save for the people that stayed out all day long in the sun. Not to mention the fact that she actually had six arms and not two. That was even more exotic, and she found herself thinking about what she would do if she had more than two arms; she'd certainly be a terror in combat, and there was also the usefulness in general of being able to do multiple things at once, although Raika decided that she'd maybe have a hard time focusing on doing so many different things at the same time.

"Hi there. You been here long? I'm Raika, what's your name?"

Raika's lavender eyes seemed to gaze piercingly through the water vapor rising from the hot water, a little smirk on her cushiony lips as her long black hair remains in a high ponytail, save for her bangs and the one strand on the right side of her pretty face. Not many people had actually told the Hyuga that she was attractive, to be frank: Kawa people were generally more interested in just not dying, while the Hyuga had referred to her almost exclusively as "Meathead" since she'd returned to Konoha, but Raika could also see how some men, and rarely a few women, stared at her, and it wasn't always just because she was incredibly tall and muscular. So Raika was fairly confident that she was actually considered quite good-looking.

Miori had been surprised she had this particular hot spring to herself as long as she had, allowing her body to slowly melt into the heated waters. Within the first minute, Miori had managed to get all the way up to her lower back into the water, and by the time three minutes had passed, the young woman's body had lost almost all tension. Resting her black haired head a moist towel, she'd allow a majority of her body to be submerged in the water, only emerging when she wanted to let her back rest against the heated stone. Soon after the young woman began to truly relax, barely aware of her surroundings, a new body would enter the water.

Peaking one eye open and raising her head slightly, Miori could see that a rather attractive woman had entered the hot spring- one around her age too. Even at a glance the magenta eyed woman could tell she was strong; fairly certain this stranger could bench press her with ease. Moving from her slightly raised position, the tan skinned woman sank back into the water as the stranger slowly relaxed. The other woman had peircing lavender eyes, exuding a confidence Miori had to admit was attractive. A fling could be another way to boil off steam. Yet at the same time Miori wasn't entirely certain that was what she wanted right now, given this was going to be her only chance to be herself for a long while. Then again, it wasn't like she exactly had many people offering to be with an accursed spider back home. The woman would give a few strong blinks as she cleared her thoughts; the steam was definitely getting to her. She came here to relax and let down her guard; that was what she was going to do.

Never mind, guard was staying up! It was always strange when someone was so instantly kind to Miori, the young woman having learned long ago that there tended to be three reactions to her appearance; fear and ostracism, feigned acceptance in exchange for a favor- usually safety, or simple interest in something 'exotic'. The interaction made it clear Raika didn't fall into the first category, but that didn't mean any of it this open kindness was genuine. Miori had fallen for that a few too many times to ever return this instant trust some people were quick to give. Of course if it was genuine it meant Miori was closing herself off from something to actually ground herself to; but Miori much preferred to be alone than to find out yet another bond was a lie.

Yet the hotsprings had clearly had an effect on the black haired kunoichi, given she was willing to 'play along' with the other woman. "Miori. Only got here a few minutes ago. Lemme guess; not a resident?"

It seems that her confidence hasn't been entirely misplaced; at least the black-haired woman introduces herself, and now they can maybe get to know each other a bit better. One foot in the door is really all anyone needs, and that's the hardest part of a conversation for most people. Then again, for the past five years, the extent of Raika's interactions with other people had been exclusive to trying not to get stabbed for either money or food, usually food, by cannibals, bandits, even some of the other villages on rare occasion. Kawa had indeed been a lawless village. But there had been enough violence in her past, and she had to let it stay in the past, especially as they were practically in the middle of a neutral village. Now was the time for just a bit of fun, and relaxation only afterwards, when they were both breathing heavy!

"No, definitely not a resident... You only got here a few minutes ago and you went straight to the hot springs? I guess that's what the country is known for..."

The Hyuga's smirk is knowing and infectious as she scoots a little bit closer to the more tan-skinned, darker woman. She was even able to completely ignore the slight discomfort she naturally feels at the sight of so many arms coming from one woman. She'd had to deal with odd looks from other people, too, whether it was the people of Kawa looking at her funny when she was so much cleaner than anyone else they had likely ever met to her own Hyuga family members looking at her funny when she returned from Kawa more physically intimidating and powerful than when she'd left, after they had assumed she had died in that Sage-forsaken death pit. And now, Raika's smile was easy, inviting, and sultry, rather than the greedy grins she'd sometimes seen from known killers in Kawa.

"The hotel I'm staying at is nearby, though, so I'm gonna be right around the corner if you want a friend while we're both having our vacation... I'm here for an entire week, so there's plenty we can get up to while we're here, Miori. Maybe do some shopping, or some more hot spring relaxation, or... other things."

One needs very little imagination to wonder what Raika means about "other things", especially as she inches closer to the Mayonaka. At the very least, this dark-haired woman wasn't very shy, and didn't even seem all that frightened. She even reaches over with her nearest hand to rest it on the side wall of the hotspring's pool, just barely within touching distance of one of Miori's hands. Her lavender eyes are looking directly into her new companion's lovely chocolate-colored eyes now, giving her a bit of a softer gaze at the final suggestion for what they could do while they're both on vacation.

So that was what the lavender eyed woman wanted. Well, that made figuring out which category she fell into easier. Miori was still uncertain if she wanted to engage in that activity, given it had recently started to be a repetitive affair on her end. At the same time however there was no denying this Raika was beautiful, and even if Miori was right and there was nothing genuine at least she'd know. Besides, even if the interest rapidly faded once the other had gotten what she wanted, those few moments of even faked appreciation were quite the drug. Such a conclusion meant Miori knew what she planned to do- but the dance before hand was half the fun. So, as the paler woman inched closer, Miori would raise herself from under the water, allowing herself to relax a bit further; if only to see where this went.

The comment on Miori heading to the hot springs first was met with a small shrug. "I had a pretty intense mission, figured I earned a break. So since it was on the way back, I figured why not take a break? Better than the oasis in my mind." Of course, Miori's issues with the oasis stemmed from her own past; having been denied access to enter the area unlike the rest of her class, and deciding to cause as much damage to it as possible as recompense. This area had no memories attached, no forced experiences or discrimination to taint the image in her head. There was simply her; a customer, and the things she could enjoy. Once Raika's hand began to move close to Miori's, the young woman would draw her own away slowly, at first likely seeming as though she lacked interest in the woman's offer. Hopefully such feelings would be proven wrong when Miori decided to take the time to stretch out her limbs; the top pair of arms raising to the sky as her back arched, the middle set pushing against the rocks behind her as her bottom set reached for her legs. After a show of both the kunoichi's sleeper build and flexibility, the young woman would let out a small sigh of relief as she felt her muscles softening. These hot springs were amazing, Miori had to find out if Kaze no Kuni had any. "Feels good to be able to move everything so freely!" Miori would allow herself a small smirk as she and the other girl exchanged glances. "You think you've had enough here?"

Raika at least seems to be thoroughly enjoying this game she's playing with Miori, although now she's starting to guess that the other woman is a ninja, and since Raika is fairly certain that she'd recognize someone from Konoha with such a deep tan and dark features, that she must be from another ninja village. Of course, with how few other villages Raika knows about, much less clans outside of Konoha, she's completely unaware of the Mayonaka clan and their strange scattered nature. As far as she knew, Miori was the first she'd ever met. And she didn't really want to talk about missions or their work in general, in case it came out that they were actually from enemy villages, so if they did have any kind of a fling, it would be a sadly short one. That didn't mean it couldn't be a fun one, if they did end up having a bit of fun. The clue was in the fact that she said she could have gone to an oasis on her way back as well, which only meant, for her, that she had traveled into or through the Land of Wind. That was about the only desert that she knew of, so it seemed the most likely. But maybe it was better to not guess at things like that, and so she leaves that part of the conversation alone and simply latches onto the next suggestion that they go out for a meal.

"Mmmm, absolutely. I've heard they actually do a kind of barbecue here that they don't do anywhere else, using fire-heated stones."

If Raika was being honest, she was very much hoping that the stones they used to cook meat with were clean. Kawa had their own way of getting meat, and it wasn't always animal meat, so she was more than happy to just not have to wonder if she was eating somebody that had tried to steal from the host, or worse, an unruly crocodile from the swamp that had eaten one too many people to be allowed to continue its torturous existence. At least here, the meat was most likely to be a goat or lamb. Raika had lost her appetite for seafood, too; five years of the stuff was enough to make her disinterested in it. But now, she was entirely distracted by the dark kunoichi stretching out all her limbs, which definitely drew her eyes over her body again in general. Those additional arms certainly captured her attention and curiosity, but she was gradually getting used to the sight of them all sprouting from one torso. The smirk she gets from Miori is met with a grin from the Hyuuga, and she slowly rises up from the steamy water, letting the hot liquid drip down over her abs while goosebumps stand out all over her smooth skin. The temperature difference between the hot water and the cool air above it was certainly having its effect on her, as was made visible by her somewhat skimpy bikini.

"Yeah, sure! Let's try a bite of this barbecue, Miori."

Getting up out of the pool was fairly easy, at least, since nobody in the hotsprings here seemed to be intent on just getting in and out all the time, like she'd expected if this were the kind of springs that allowed children. She grabs up her towel and quickly begins drying herself as she heads to the changing room, giving her new companion a little bit of a sultry gaze as she steps out of view.

The lack of reaction to the news that Miori had been on a mission was a bit of a surprise to the brunette, given the idea of being with a kunoichi tended to add a bit of spice to the mix. The reasoning was lost on the tanned woman, but she felt no need to pry further. Until proven otherwise, this was a fling and little more, so neither party owed the other any details of their lives. So the young woman would simply enjoy her time in the hot spring for a few minutes longer, as well as the view she got for waiting. The woman was clearly fit and unafraid to show it- attractive qualities being further reinforced by the other woman's actions. Miori had almost missed the commentary about some sort of barbecue, lingering a bit longer in the spring before finally leaving and drying herself off. Seeing the gaze her companion gave as Miori watched her leave, a small smirk would break its way across her face. This is gonna be good.

Shortly as Raika entered the changing rooms, Miori would walk towards the locker she had stored her supplies in, opening to reveal a small collection of scrolls. Reaching for the bottom right scroll, the young woman would allow her towel to fall as she was engulfed in a cloud of white smoke. By the time it dispersed, the closing door of the locker would reveal Miori in a sleeveless slim fitting tank top, the fabric a sheer almost translucent design of dark blue cloth. Her lower half was covered in dark denim jeans, cuffed showing the lighter colored reversed fabric that hid underneath. Her form still dripped slightly from the springs, hair still matted down until it managed to dry. Miori had to admit, it was nice to wear a new outfit, and one that wasn't made from her webs like her more recent attire had been. Tapping her feet against the ground as she now wore open toed shinobi tabi, the tanned kunoichi would look to see if Raika had emerged yet.

Raika herself wishes she'd learned a bit of Fuuinjutsu to be able to quickly change her clothing the way Miori could, even if the ninjutsu smoke could sometimes wreak havoc on any smoke sensors; luckily, it seemed this hotspring had been aware enough that they hadn't included any such tools in their own construction of the springs, not that an actual fire was likely with how most of the inside of the springs were literally soaking wet. Raika instead simply dried herself like a normal civilian would, but kept her bikini on while she pulled on the rest of her clothing. She was still the type to prefer a simplistic outfit, even if she wasn't currently acting as a kunoichi for Konohagakure while she was on vacation. Over her bikini, she simply wore a black tank top that left her abs exposed, and then pulled up the bottom half of a pair of coveralls, with the Y-shaped suspenders hanging over her shoulders and also smushing certain aspects of her anatomy, before the suspenders meet at about the middle of her back and keep the back half of her coveralls raised to hide the rest of her lower body. She still wears her combat boots, with the major difference in her clothing being that she didn't wear her Konoha headband around her neck for now.

When she comes back out of her changing room with the sack slung over her right shoulder, she gives a little whistle at Miori and her new outfit. Raika's own hair is still dripping wet, causing her own tank top to soak a little, but thankfully with their dark grey color, it's no more revealing than the bathing suit she's wearing underneath her clothing.

"Well, this date is already getting better and better."

Raika's grin is nearly infectious when she takes Miori's nearest arm in the crook of hers, letting her feel that taut musculature as well as her smooth, supple skin.

"So, are we hitting up that barbecue place I mentioned? Some hoot food is really gonna hit the spot."

Miori had gotten used to flirting; the shallow flattery with intermittent periods of teasing the other to try and keep the excitement active. The actions were mostly there to make sure neither lost interest until the action was done and the other party would go back to being at least uninterested in Miori, with that being the lucky scenario in comparison to being suddenly hated yet again. Most attempts involved empty and generic compliments that could given to anyone, and the truly desperate often gave shiny overpriced gifts to Miori in an attempt to keep her interested. For some reason however, the brunette kunoichi couldn't recall ever getting a genuine cat call before, nor could she remember anyone being as genuine as Raika was. It was indeed infectious, the tanned woman allowing a toothy grin to spread across her cheeks.

Miori would bounce slightly at the taller woman's straight forward and confident approach, enjoying the feeling of having one of her arms in Raika's strong grasp. Miori's own skin was well cared for; smooth and soft in an attempt to replicate a certain figure in her past. Keeping pace with the more visibly excited woman, Miori would give a small laugh as they left the hot spring as she allowed herself to relax just a bit more. "Let's go!"

Raika rather excitedly leaves the hotspring with Miori once she expresses her eagerness in going, arm-in-arm with the other woman, although the genin avoids leaving through the same entrance where she left the Jounin chaperone; she didn't know if he would still have on the Konoha headband, and if he saw her leaving with what might be a potential enemy ninja, she likely would never hear the end of it. For now, she simply led Miori around the side of the building and into the street perpendicular from the front of the hotspring, moving eastward as the scent of cooking meat gradually increased while they moved closer to the restaurateur side of the small tourist trap town. It wasn't a long walk, but it did leave the pair an opening for some talk, and Raika was plenty curious about this stranger next to her..

"Tell me a little bit about yourself! Like what do you do for fun? Other than picking up women in a hotspring for an impromptu date..."

Of course, this kind of question could potentially be dangerous, especially as it opens up Raika to the same line of questioning. The Hyuuga couldn't really say that her hobbies included beating down punks, or taking missions, really, although she could leave those particular pastimes out of her answer. Then again, they probably won't see each other after their short vacations are over, so as long as they don't engage in combat while they're both staying there, it likely won't come to anything major anyway. Raika wasn't feigning interest, either; she was actually curious about what other ninja got up to when they wanted to have fun. There was a lot to do in Konoha, though she'd only come back to her home village for a short while before she'd immediately gotten back into training to prepare for the Chuunin Exams.

Miori would follow the lead of the other woman, at first mildly apprehensive when they left through an alternative entrance. The action didn't bode well for Raika's intent, with Miori having been lead into quite a few alleyways she had to fight her way out of. However given it was equally- if not more likely that Miori's assumption of this being merely a 'exotic experience' was right, she saw no reason to raise any complaints about it. As the duo moved eastward, they'd soon find the distant scent of roasting meat begin to fill their senses, one that only got stronger the longer they continued their journey. "Either you have a coyote's nose or are a very lucky woman."

With the small quip out of the way, Miori would begin to think of what she actually had to talk about herself. The shinobi life didn't seem to interest Raika, so that was off the table. So where was she to begin on what she did for fun? Miori had long since neglected most of her downtime activities- her only real indulgence being her work with her puppets- which was yet again linked to being a shinobi. At a loss for proper subjects, Miori would simply shrug and let what came out come out. "I've started working out recently, carrying heavy weights around for a while. Outside of that I guess I tinker? Usually I'm trying to get what relaxation in I can, or starting some random project that I came up with. Oh and scaring off brats who think they own the area just because they figured out which part of their swords is the dull end."

With that Miori was aware she was steering close to the subject that didn't interest her current 'date', and so decided to reflect the question back at the other kunoichi. "What about you? I assume you don't just spend your time flirting with every girl you come across." Miori would tease back, testing the waters to see if the other woman could handle what she dished out. The Mayonaka had never liked people who couldn't handle someone reversing the same prompt back onto themselves. Besides, teasing gave her a small measure of control over her life, and as such as one of her most subtle and enjoyed indulgences.

Raika smirks somewhat playfully when she's told she must have the nose of a coyote, or that she's lucky, and she simply shrugs. She'd learned the layout of the city somewhat quickly with a few uses of her Byakugan, kept hidden under some very large touristy sunglasses earlier in the day, to be able to learn the layout of the town. Granted, her memorization wasn't quite so good, but she could at least remember which direction from the hotsprings her hotel was, and even able to suss out where the restaurants were located, albeit most of the "exotic delicacies" weren't even eaten by the locals, really. But that was to be expected, the Land of Hotsprings would want to make themselves seem even more unique when they were surrounded by other lands with their own idiosyncrasies. 

"I think, after meeting you, it's fair to say that I'm lucky."

Then Raika listens in to hear Miori's hobby, and she's quite excited to discover that they have a shared interest in lifting weights, She can also somewhat understand Miori's interest in tinkering with things, although she supposes her form of tinkering is mostly about seeing how far she can stretch her training with the Jyuken, more than taking things apart and seeing how they physically work. The suggestion that she goes around flirting with lots of women makes her smirk once more before she responds.

"Oh, no, I only flirt with the really pretty ones.~ As for my hobbies, I think it's fair to say that I like to lift weights, too. I mostly keep busy, really, although I've started getting really into trying to practice martial arts. Gotta put these guns to work...~"

After saying this, the genin gives her new compatriot a naughty wink while she reaches over and snags a pair of shishkebabs off a vendor's waiting tray, deftly leaving behind enough ryo to pay for both sticks, then handing over the layered meal to Miori. She often rather disliked shishkebabs made with wooden dowels, but it wasn't like steel skewers were cheap, and it'd be hard to make sure customers returned them behind a stall. Raika was already starting to eat hers, and the lamb was pretty succulent.

Miori would instinctually try to bury her laughter, a snorting chuckle releasing from her lips at the comment of meeting Miori being 'lucky'. Curling in slightly, the six armed kunoichi was clearly struggling to contain the laughter, her face beginning to turn red. "Tha-at's so cheesy!" In honestly it was possibly the cheesiest line she'd heard- and not many of the boys in her village were good at flirting. Still it was working in a strange way, and given that Miori had never heard anything like that before it was oddly comforting. Always a midnight spider, never the morning. Nights messenger of death instead of the day's lucky break. As the woman regained her composure, the laughter would slow to a halt, yet the blush on her cheeks would only allow itself to dim ever so slightly. "Still, it's not bad." It was nice in fact.

A small part of Miori's brain was aware it was entirely possible Raika had a better read on her than she thought; and was currently targeting a weakness Miori hadn't been aware she had. As the mental argument over perceived actions, word choice, and logic battled in her mind, Miori came to a slight realization as she allowed a small smile to creep across her face. She didn't care if it was fake. If she was being played, then she'd be played and play along, no matter if the next morning this was simply a fun night and little more. She didn't care if she would end up feeling like it was all false praise; she'd enjoy this show while it lasted. As yet more praise was piled on Miori in response to her own quips, her magenta eyes shined just the slightest bit more as her blush returned to the normal as Raika yet again pulled off an even more cheesy move as she flexed her arms next to Miori. From the grin on Miori's face, it was pretty obvious that one worked too.

The demonstration of subtle dexterity as she both grabbed the duo's food and paid in the same movement. Her gaze would linger on the woman for a few moments longer before her stomach would interrupt her admiration, the brunette would enjoy the varied meats that she took small bites of. For someone from Sunagakure, most common animal meats were exotic to her, and as such a few she picked out on hers were a bit familiar. She detected fox meat alongside; lamb, jackrabbit, even tarantula among the varying meats on the kebab she had been given. However she also found meats she rarely ever was able to have in Sunagakure; Beef and Pork taking up few areas on the skewer, yet to the dessert dweller they were the most strange of the tastes available. The varied nature of the meats on offer assured anyone would get something exotic. Admittedly it was very clever. Soon Miori would have finished the 'normally' exotic meats, and moved onto what most would consider normal food to slowly enjoy.

If Raika felt hurt at being called cheesy, she didn't show it. Instead, she takes the laughter from the six-armed woman as a sign of victory. If the woman felt at ease enough to laugh, that meant she had managed to sneak in past her defenses and was now on friendly terms with the other woman. Raika ate the other meats quite readily, although she seems to regard the tarantula meat with some trepidation; after seeing Miori eat the spider meat quite easily, though, she takes a breath and eats it herself. It's somewhat more bland than she had expected, tasting rather like a mix between chicken and fish. But it's certainly not something she's had before, which is surprising for someone from Kawa, as most think they would eat anything. A rumor that isn't easily disproved, given her taste for fried gator tail.

"Mm. I can tell you liked it, you laughed.~ People don't laugh at things they dislike."

With that rather simple view, she takes Miori by one of her nearest hands, gently but firmly holding it so she can lead the six-armed woman to a street performance of some kind, involving music players strumming some kind of exotic stringed instrument while another plays notes through a wooden flute, and a third juggles some knives. While such a feat might not have been all that dangerous for a ninja, a civilian would have been impressed by the way the juggler managed to consistently catch each knife by the handle and not by the blade. While she does somewhat enjoy the show, she finds her own purple eyes glancing every once in a while to her date, internally curious about what the other woman thinks of her while she should be enjoying the show. The sky is beginning to get just a bit more dim to the east, and the lights are beginning to come alive along the major walkways, and Raika is already starting to consider maybe taking the woman back to the hotel room she's staying at, or maybe seeing if she'd rather invite the genin to her own room at whatever inn she was sleeping at.

It was strangely freeing to not longer have to tear herself up over if someone was a kid who's definition of 'discrimination' was not being invited to a party and not malicious assumptions. Miori would almost instinctively laugh as she was pulled to a new destination, a nostalgic feeling of her time back with Team Three warming her. The site she was pulled to was, at first, rather boring for the tanned Mayonaka. Juggling kunai was a fairly similar to the same talent she was currently seeing: although the thinness of regular knives meant it was slightly faster. Still, it was as simple as repeating the same motions in loop, hardly anything complex. A small part of Miori was tempted to reach out with her strings to throw the juggler off his rhythm just to see if he could react quick enough, but a more mature part of Miori that wouldn't achieve anything. When did she grow a conscience?

Before such a question could be answered, Miori found herself staring at the member of the troupe that was playing what she recognized as a qanun. Magenta eyes flickered in recognition, having not expected to see such an instrument all the way out here. Seemed even the street performers made sure that everyone saw something unique during their visit. More over it was played well, Miori's eyes transfixed on the musician as they expertly plucked and flicked the strings to fill the air with music. It was a high tempo yet somehow still relaxing moment as Miori and Raika enjoyed the show, the genin only stopping when the telltale glow of dusk began to set in. Looking towards the paler of the two, Miori's voice would answer a bit low in case the others enjoying the show decided to eavesdrop on her offer. "I don't know about you but I'm getting a bit worn out. If you don't have a room, I can spare some space in my bed."
