[attr="class","goropost"]The weather in Iwagakure was a perfect 72F. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky, and the sun brought warmth to the cheeks of the village inhabitants as they made their way down the busy streets. A slight breeze kept the sun from being too much. All in all most would agree that anyone sitting around in their homes was simply wasting their lives away.

Goro was certainly not the type to sit around and not enjoy such a free day. In fact, he found himself stretching first thing in the morning in preparation for a long day of training ahead. Immediately after, he went for a run, letting the breeze pick up his golden tufts as he tried to dodge most of the traffic within the streets of Iwagakure at his top speeds. It was a game, of sorts, to the young Okadan boy. He was fast, and he knew it, but there was something fun about just barely missing someone was he ran past.

He’d been out for quite some time, resting here and there–perhaps grabbing and ChocoRock to nibble on or some ice cream. He’d even gotten a burger around lunchtime, but soon enough he was up and at it again. It was well past noon, now, and the sun was increasing in heat, but the weather still felt nice with the gentle breeze.

Goro had had enough with the ‘mediocre’ speeds and felt a second wind of energy hitting him after the lunch he’d just eaten. Instead of running with a measly 20% of his energy, he decided to kick it up a notch by opening the first of his Eight Gates. The boy felt a rush of strength in his legs which he used to push harder against the ground and increase his speed slightly. He continued running throughout the streets of Iwagakure with his Gate active, attempting to dodge its inhabitants left and right, weaving closely. He would just barely miss them, and continue onward.
