Arashi Village, also known as "the village of flurries", was a beautiful little town that had been given it's name due to being the one place in the Frost Country that would get the least amount of snow year-round. Due to the autumn season, the roads and buildings were only covered in a small sheet of the frozen precipitation, which made it the perfect place for tourists and travelers to rest between long adventures. Non-shinobi affiliated, the townsfolk were still warm and welcoming to all, despite the country still suffering from Hoshigakure and Kumogakure's previous transgressions.[break][break]

Snow crunched beneath his ninja sandals as the Chūnin and Jōnin, Sai Shō and Minami Sora, crossed the Arashi Village threshold and made their way into the heart of the community. "Heh, it's actually pretty nice here." The temperature was hovering somewhere around 30°F, yet Shō appeared to be under-dressed for the environment, as he was still wearing his typical shinobi outfit which consisted of a flak vest and shorts. What he had made sure to not forget was his plethora of ninja tools, his Resonating Echo Speaker that covered a large portion of his left arm, and the massive sword that hung diagonally from his back.[break][break]

The mission was simple: travel to Arashi Village and rendezvous with Iwagakure shinobi who would be releasing a Kirigakure criminal to them for return to his rightful place. The luggage's name was Kaguya Nakamura, and Shō had read a bit about his desertion and crimes throughout the nations. The elusive bandit was a former Chūnin, and Shō wondered if he would present trouble, even though he was well-versed at dealing with prisoners after he became a Seki Shikan. However, once Sora agreed to tag along, he knew completing the mission would be a breeze from there.[break][break]

"Hey Sora-sensei... you think those Stone ninja would be down for a little sparring session?", he jested, although he was entirely serious in wanting that request to happen. Ever since the day she interrupted his training, he had grown curious to find out what exactly her true capabilities were. She was a friend of his mentor, and with his sights set on becoming a Hunter-Nin one day just like Zaizen, he hoped that she would be able to contribute to making that a reality.[break][break]

Sora had never really felt out of place in the cold.

Snow fluttered down from the rooftops of Arashi village as she and her partner for this mission, a Chuunin she had trained with by the name of Sai Sho, walked down the main thoroughfare, greeted by warm smiles and friendly faces despite the signs of poverty and disrepair that littered the village. Under normal circumstances she would have felt bad for the villagers, perhaps offered to spend a day fixing a few of the more difficult problems around the village- but they hadn’t come here to take in the sights. This was a mission, and they didn’t have time to stop and help a bunch of poor people, no matter how much they needed it.

Dressed in a thicker version of her favorite cheongsam with black wool leggings underneath, the Jounin looked the part of a Kunoichi, especially with Samidare on her hip, drawing the eyes of both men and women as she walked slightly ahead of Sho. They had come to the village to complete a prisoner transfer from their esteemed allies in Iwagakure, who had captured a rogue by the name of Kaguya Nakamura, a fairly infamous smuggler and bandit. The Hunter Corps would be terribly disappointed not to be the ones to have hunted him down but… well. She had been one of them, once. It counted. Sort of.

"I doubt it. We’ve little time to waste, after all." She replied, glancing back at the boy as she spoke. He had thankfully chosen to bathe for this mission, ridding himself of the usual stench that wafted around him wherever he went, which had made the trip far easier, though not without its troubles. Her seasickness being the main one, sadly. "Though if our prisoner decides to get feisty, you have my permission to beat him. He probably deserves it, given his history."

Shortly before their arrival, one of Ryoko’s scouts would arrive. A keen eyed hawk swoops lower as it circles over the small village, searching through the crowd for the people she was supposed to meet.

It was best to be informed, even when locating friends, and seeing the city in such a peaceful state gave the bird some comfort after the previous days of travel. Toting some shinobi around was as nerve wracking as it was educational. She had been cautious the whole way, not wanting to let their prisoner escape.

Taki, of course, remained close to the prisoner, using their awesome strength to cow the prisoner into submission, but Ryoko did her part as well. The hawk finally flutters down, landing, oddly, on the ground in front of the two Kiri nin. It gives a little high pitched cry, before rather suddenly dispersing in a little cloud of smoke.

The trio would be seen some minutes later, walking calmly towards the location her scout bird had located. Ryoko is dressed as she always is, used to higher altitudes, her leggings were as warm as her odd patchwork cloak. The doomstar, a massive four bladed shuriken floats threateningly near the prisoner, and their state was one of understandable despair.

Between the sage and shuriken watching over him, he also seemed to have made a new friend. A large python some seven feet long and many inches thick rests over his shoulders, already coiled around the man’s neck. It was relaxed for now, though it would only take a moment to tense and crush the poor shinobi’s throat.

As the two approach more hawks begin to descend down towards the ground, landing near the Kiri nin and poofing away one at a time as things seem safe for now.

"That’s them. Gotta be.” She mutters over towards Taki, her lips forming into an eager grin. She lifts a hand to point, though it was fairly obvious who the shinobi were as they got closer. "Told you the snake would work. Next time maybe we’ll cover him in lots of spiders instead. Let em crawl around everywhere, and bite him if he runs..”

The prisoner cringes at the idea.

As Taki and her friend made their way out towards the rendezvous point Taki dragged the prisoner with his arm wrenched behind his back, with all sorts of dastardly creatures of Ryoko's design to keep him company. She wasn't exactly thrilled about a prisoner hand off but someone had to do it at least the potential for danger made it all the more interesting.

The prisoner himself seemed like a bit of a whiner but Taki didn't have a lot of sympathy for criminals of any kind and was hoping his time was most certainly a miserable one. And with the way he squirmed at the snakes Taki figured he couldn't have been having a good time."Can't do the time don't do the crime asshole." anyone who was hurting their allies had a chance to hurt her family and that wasn't something she could abide by.

The would have to endure a bit of a ride over to the island they were set to meet at and it was seriously cold, which was odd for such a place, thankfully Taki was dressed appropriately but it was all the more reason for her to want to get out of here as soon as possible. When Ryoko announced that they had gotten closer to where they needed to go Taki was quite eager.

"Oh yeah...spiders why not somethin like rats." the girl would say as she kept her lock on the prison as they continued forward. "Hey hey, keep still!" the girl would smash back of his head

During Taki's training she learns that she has a significant amount of energy and after graduating to the rank of genin she began to learn how to properly make use of them under the tutelage of Midori Chizawa. As a result the girl is now able to perform a bevy of powerful techniques for longer periods of time without tiring as quickly as others.

With the rigorous training that Taki's now able to throw down with the best of them boasting monstrous strength fitting for her professional wrestling background, having combined that with the training she performed at the academy has now made her able to performs ridiculous feats such as being able to crush stones in her grip causing concussions and snap bones with her powerful strikes and holds. Taki has also increased the amount of weight she is able to lift by a massive margin in a way that makes her an even more fearsome taijutsu practitioner than before.

As a result of her training, and advancements as a genin. Taki's grappling ability has increased even further making her wrestling based techniques far more difficult to deal with and escape from. As a result, her slams, holds, submissions and suplex's are far more damaging and harder to escape from then that of a genin who is not trained in these particular abilities.

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body and overall Taijutsu prowess increase exponentially most notably her grip strength allowing her to take hold of someone with a painful amount of power amplifying her already proficient ability to grapple with an opponent making it significantly harder to be broken out of as well a deal a considerable amount of damage.

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body Taki is able to use nature energy to harness her powers in order to make her more physically imposing than normal adding to her natural affinities with Taijutsu allowing her move faster and hit harder heavy items thus adding a good amount of power and heft to her attacks allowing her to snap bones with much less effort and outpace a good majority of her enemies with her monstrous charge.

Due to the coarse strength of a gorilla's skin Taki is able to withstand a good amount of extra punishment allowing her to be able to withstand blows from most enemies that most shinobi wouldn't be able to normally withstand. As such blows from strong fighters are reduced by a considerable amount and when struck feel like colliding with a considerably immovable force.

"C'mon Sora-sensei, you're not even a little curious?!", Shō whined, his arms resting behind his head as he walked through the village lackadaisically. "That would be a serious bummer! I mean, that would mean we came alllllll this way for nothin'!" The Chūnin's ears perked up when she teased the idea of the prisoner needing to be detained again, and he couldn't help but to grin from ear-to-ear, secretly praying that he would be dumb enough to try it. "Hehehe, now that would be fun! I've read a bit about him, the Namakura-guy, and I gotta admit, I would love to see more of what the Kaguya Clan can do."[break][break]

Just nearly around the corner from the Mist shinobi approached the two Stone shinobi and said criminal, who was bound with an extensive amount of rope around his torso and arms. The constraint was marked with a large black diamond¹ embedded onto it, with kanji written at it's center that read "sealing formula". Unable to use chakra, Nakamura figured his disability must've been the work of the Fuinjutsu user back in Iwagakure, although it never stopped him from still trying to escape.[break][break]

"Damn you, ape-girl! Why do you have to be so rough?!", he snarled at Taki, as she held no contempt in dragging him about like she was taking out the trash. He normally paid the other young Stone kunoichi and her pets no mind, until she suggested covering him in spiders, in which he immediately tensed up with in fright. Snakes and rats held no weight against him, but ever since the day he suffered a crippling defeat at the hands of a Mayonaka clan member, he couldn't stand the mere mention of the eight-legged freaks. "N-now wait a second!... The s-snake is terrifying enough! I mean seriously, what is wrong with you Iwagakure kids?!"[break][break]

It was nearly twenty minutes past the scheduled meeting time, and although they had just arrived in the village not too long ago, the Mist shinobi didn't have to wander for much longer before they caught notice of the Stone shinobi and a peculiar, restricted male. "Well well, look who it is!", Shō exclaimed, keeping his cool instead of waving them over at first sight. The path on which they would converge was a wide and very open street that was devoid of any other life except theirs, with wooden buildings and autumn-colored trees lining it on each side.[break][break]

As they walked toward each other, Shō would be shocked to observe that both of the kunoichi appeared to be around his age, which made him happy but also made him feel slightly embarrassed as he was being accompanied by a grown woman. Could it be that Iwagakure shinobi were really that strong, or maybe he was just that weak? The thought would be fleeting as they finally stopped and came face-to-face. "Hello ladies!", he simpered as he placed both his hands on his hips, amused by Nakamura's petite frame. "The name's Sai Shō! Hopefully this little fella didn't give ya'll too much trouble!"[break][break]

Sora took one look at the pair of Kunoichi that Iwa had sent and knew, without so much as a word, that Sho wouldn’t be able to handle either of them. While she had no clue who the short one was, she was clearly no pushover, not if she was the one who had been put in charge of guarding their prisoner, while the blonde… well. Shew knew the blonde. Not personally, but by reputation. She’d put on quite the show at one of the Chuunin Exams a few years back, earning herself a nickname that, if the pink-haired Jounin was being honest, seemed a bit overblown.

"We’re on a mission, Sho." She said to the boy as the pair made their way towards them, her sky-blue gaze locked on Nakamura. There was a snake around his neck, but that wasn’t what she was worried about. He was supposed to be under a powerful sealing jutsu of some kind, one that shut down his entire chakra network and made him as powerless as a civilian, but she couldn’t see where they’d applied it. "Focus up."

Sora gave the pair of Iwa-nin a cursory nod, her expression flat as she regarded the blonde for a moment. Taki Okada was supposed to be a kind of Taijutsu prodigy, and it showed on the girl’s physique; it wouldn’t have surprised her if the teen weighed more than she did despite being an inch shorter. Muscle could really pack the pounds onto a Kunoichi, if they chose to focus on that. Which, of course, she hadn’t.

"Sora Minami." Sora replied once Sho was done with his theatrics, her gaze shifting back to their prisoner as she spoke, all business. She wasn’t certain how well the Iwa-nin would appreciate the boy’s antics, but it was hard to go wrong with professionalism. Especially when it came to transferring prisoners. Shinobi prisoners at that.

"You can tell your Kage the Daimyo of Mizu no Kuni sends his personal regards for this." The Jounin said, walking up to grab Nakamura by the scruff of his shirt and heaving him to the side, clearly not interested in anything he had to say. "We’ve been hunting for this one for a while. He’s got a lot to answer for."

She studies the two Kiri nin as she and Taki approach, curious about who they were. Normally she had a habit of making terrible first impressions, though that was usually with her own village nin. People she knew had to work with her anyway. Immediately offending strangers, though, might not fly so well.

As such, Ryoko decides to be only mildly brief, and not an outright menace. "uhh.. Yeah..” She mutters, her mouth twisting some into a half smile, half smirk. She points a finger at herself.

"Ryoko..” She notes, figuring just one name was enough. She then thumbs towards the other Iwa. "Taki.”

After a moment she points a finger at the captive and snickers some. "Woeful Prisoner”, she adds with the same amused tone.

Introductions out of the way her smile fades some and she peers about. It was a new country for her, first time in a snowy place that didn’t make her want to light herself on fire to find any warmth.. Yuki.. gross. Her own exams had taken place there, but need bringing that up.

She takes a few steps away from the group, apparently more interested in the new territory than the prisoner exchange. The massive shrunken continues to float rather obediently behind her, not quite resting on her shoulder, just somehow lingering in the air just behind her.

What with Taki out ranking her, she figured she’d let her do all the talking at first. Manners and decorum and the like simply weren’t her thing.
