PERSONALITY: Kintsugi is like a wounded animal defending its last breath, desperate and furious. It screeches ear-piercing howls of pure agony into Juzumaru's mind whenever being wielded, only quelled entirely once the pair have removed all threats; juzumaru compares it to the feeling of having metal nails hammered into his eardrums and skull. It is very assertive, eager to bend Juzumaru's actions to its will through the use of intimidation and the forementioned pain; 'biting it's owner' one could say. When it perceives a threat, feeling as though Juzumaru or itself are in danger; Kintsugi is eager to lash out, momentarily quietening its stinging bark to allow Juzumaru to obey its wishes. However if Juzumaru tries to resist its orders, Kintsugi will eagerly affict the torturous agony upon its user again. While it doesn't not have a hint of blood-lust, the blade has no concept of alive or dead; only moving and not moving.. causing it to often force its wielder to gore an opponent entirely beyond what's necessary, even after they're dead. In moments of danger it has little empathy for Juzumaru and will do what it must to survive.
