Moment Music The wind often was seen as rebellious and free in the way it moved throughout the world. In truth, it was very much a concept that Arashi had used to describe herself at times. Or at least, as of late. She did her best to try not to be the first of those traits, but it was hard not to ignore that instinct. Still, she had gotten better at being responsible and accountable for her actions. That meant, that she needed to be sure certain things were still in place. When the previous Raikage had requested that she assist the current tailed beast in their charge, she had done so with the understanding that there was to be a usage of this not only as a foundation, but a building of trust between the two allied nations. Granted, there hadn't been much that she could teach her that she wasn't already aware of to some degree. If anything, she had seemed set on following her own way, and she could only respect her for doing so. She wished to create a relationship between herself and the demon within her, something similar to what she had begun to do later on. In short, it proved to be something that had to be earned, but she had managed it, and the vast ventures the two had, gave them a better means in which to use their combined forces together. Still, she held a responsibility to Kiho...and in the end, she did wish to see how her friend from the Clouds had been doing since their last meeting. So with a message sent out, she'd wait outside the village, her body perched upon a cliff as she continued to examine her other project. It was still a ways from being complete, but if she were indeed on to something, she'd have a stabilized Defense that would outlast her in the end. One last gift of success to her departed mentor. "Ahh....well...once I bring it to the council at least...and dad...Heh...who knows? An Eternal Shield..." Hmph...a waste if it can't be activated by anyone else... Like ya wouldn't be here to see that it is... Haha...as if I would linger upon gaining freedom... Wanna bet? I think ya like this place more than ya wanna admit... .....maybe the women... Ultimate Defense A Skill granted by her continued use and developed relationship with Shukaku over the continued use of his control over sand, Arashi has a stronger connection to the element, allowing her to use it at a much more intensive rate than before. As such, her defenses are much more adapt and capable of taking on stronger attacks and reinforcing itself at faster speed. This adaptation to the sand shield allows for it's reaction time to have increased and make it more challenging for attacks to connect and break through the first layer, while acting still on the natural inclinations of auto-repairing itself for the next strike. Sand Control Arashi is granted two forms of defense by the Ichibi. The first one is a subconscious ability granted by the Bijuu is that there is constantly a barrier of sand clinging to Arashi’s skin. This barrier acts as a shield against her skin, absorbing heavy blows and protecting her. Her sand defense is very tough, being very difficult to break through. The sand has been likened to steel and concrete. The second form is one which pulls sand from her surroundings and the sand piled on her skin to form a visible barrier and dome like barrier around her. The sand is typically pulled from the ground and any nearby source. Arashi’s various dogs often have a plentiful amount of sand carried in their thick coats. As such, the sand is often pulled from their coats to be used to protect the girl. To be frank, Kiho wouldn't describe her experience as a Jinchuuriki anything short of being successful. She definitely had a rough start, but thanks to mentors like Lady Chihiro and Arashi sensei she was now one of the most formidable Shinobi in the village. With a new Raikage to support her there wasn't anything she couldn't do. Especially now that the training wheels were off and she was actually allowed to take some time out for herself.

Her relationship with Seven was better now that she'd ever expected and now she couldn't possible imagine living life without them. Chomei was easily her best friend and arguably the best thing that ever happened to her since before the passing of her father. It came as a surprise to Kiho one morning when she receieved word from Arashi to come down to see her in Sunagakure.

It never even occurred to her that the only place she'd ever saw her in was Kumogakure due to her inexperience, but things were different now. So much had changed, and she'd now grown into a fine woman. Half of which Arashi played a part in. She couldn't wait to show her all the things she'd learn and what she'd been up to since the last time they saw one another.

She missed her a lot, but she had to admit her actions probably said different now that she thought on it. As Kiho flew over the hot scorching desert she wondered if Arashi might think differently of her because of it. She didn't mean to stop reaching out, but so many things had happened since their last session she didn't really think to reach out. The relationship they built had meant more to her than just being Jinchuuriki.

I just have to know. Who would willingly want to live out here? Its just a bunch of hot and nothing.

For once I agree hun, this ain't it for me Seven, but whatever makes them happy right? By the way, are you excited to see your raccoon friend?

The relationship between all the Tailed Beast was weird, but somewhere deep down Kiho felt they all actually cared about one another. They were just to proud to admit it because they were all powerful. Kiho made sure she was careful to descend just as she was arriving to the gates of Suna so that she could provide her identification and clearance for being here.

Suna looked so different than what she could imagine, but also? She could never quite imagine what it would look like in the first place so there was that. Navigating new territory wasn't easy, but she was a big girl so she'd do well to follow the coordinates provided to her by Arashi so that she could find her. Along the way many people looked to the skies as they were all in awe of her presence.

She was sure this wasn't the first time they seen anything like this, but it was definitely the second. It took a little to locate Arashi, but she made it a bit easy with the way she likes to toss that sand out and about. Just thinking about it made her itch. As she got within range she'd wave toward the growing figure as she closed the gap between the two of them.

The distraction of her sandball dissolving back into dust was pulled away upon hearing more incoming awes and ohs from below. Granted, she didn't think much of it as with the village being in the middle of nowhere, there was a lot that could draw attention. That didn't make them foolish, but it did tend to cause some uproar over small things. Yet, the call of her name was enough to make her look in the direction of it, prompting her to pull her legs up as she rose to see the flying female make her entrance. Now, Arashi had seen a lot of people fly. She'd seen one girl manage to levitate using magnetic fields and another manage to do it using something close to the platforms she used but to see a full-grown woman do it with wings was indeed something of a sight to behold. In fact, it almost made her a bit jealous. As she waved to her with a toothy grin, she'd wait for the Kumo-nin to land, placing her hand on her hip with a raised brow. "Ya keep making an entrance like that around here and people will be expectin' me to start havin' wings..." As she extended her fist out for her to bump into it with her own, she'd then nod as she looked her over with a grin. Time was surely doing her well. She remembered a girl who was still trying to figure out her place in this new world she had entered into. A fresh Jinchuuriki with a lot of questions and a small amount of experience. Now, she was looking at a young woman who was now starting to come into her own. Hard to believe that she may have played a small role in that, but then again, she wasn't exactly one to take credit for too many things. Especially, when it was all on the efforts of another figuring it out as best they could. "Good to see ya Kiho...thanks for meeting me...know it's been a while...but I figured...ya had a lot to learn and I couldn't babysit everything...plus people around here figured I could be responsible and decided to promote me...I'd call it nepotism..but apparently, I'd fit the bill with or without the family name..." "You don't already have wings? Awe, what a bummer."

Kiho teased after gently bumping her fist against her mentors. It was so great to see her, even in a hot place like Sunagakure. She did well to wear her white Shinobi attire over her other to protect her from the heat despite being fully covered. She never seen a group of people so engaged with stranger like herself. It made her wonder the kind of things that took place for them to be like that.

Only the kids seemed to truly admire her flight prowess in Kumo, but that was enough for her. Keisuke probably sucked all the fun away during his many years as a Jinchuuriki so they were probably just use to it. They were a village hidden in the clouds right? I guess you can only go so high before everyone is just meh about everything. Nonetheless, Kiho was surprised to see Arashi take on the burden of being the reason it'd been so long.

Kiho felt equally responsible, but maybe their own lives just got away from them at the same time. Regardless, the most important take from this was that she wasn't upset with. "No need to take all the responsibility. I think life just got the best of both of us." Kiho added while shrugging her shoulders and taking her place next to Arashi just as she'd asked her how things had been going for her.

"Yeah.. I guess you can say that. Ya girls kind of bossed up since the last time we saw each other. Thanks to you and my other mentor. I don't know what I would have done without you two. My life has been nothing short of amazing since. I have sooooooooo much to tell you hun. Whew! I got stories for days."

If she had the chance she would have loved to tell her about all the Jinchuuriki she got to meet and work with along the way. All of them had taught her so much and added a layer to her relationship with Chomei that she otherwise might not have without them. "Oh.. And Lady Kizumi will be just fine. You know us Kumo peeps like to stay lowkey so I don't see any danger in our future... Hopefully."

Kiho teased with a bit of laughter behind it. "How have you been though? I haven't forgotten that you're royalty around here. Should I be serving you or somethin like that?" Kiho teased again before she'd catch herself thinking about a familiar person she'd forgotten about up until now.

Ahhh, you're thinking about her again aren't you?

Yeah.. I was really hoping that fling with Miyo might go somewhere, but I guess being royalty has a way of getting in the way. At least that's what I tell myself.

In hearing her tease the idea that she should be serving her, Arashi would pout a bit before narrowing her eyes. "You do and I swear I'll hit ya..." Granted, she had gotten over much of her resentment over the title of Princess, she still didn't want those close to her to treat her any differently. Kiho loved how fussy Arashi could be whenever it came to her title, but that's what made her such an amazing person. She couldn't begin to think of all the people that would have taken advantage to having her familial ties. Including herself. As embarrassing as that would be to say out loud, what girl didn't grow up wanting to be a princess? Probably a good number, but she still imagined there was more that did.

Kiho laughed aloud after she semi threatened her by letting her know the tiara meant nothing and that she was still the same old Arashi. In usual like fashion the Sand Jinchuuriki rarely failed to disappoint as she went over the number of things that took place while she was gone. Like a kid Kiho sat with her legs crossed and her hands planted softly against both cheeks as she listened.

She tried her best to visually imagine ever journey she spoke. Including the one where she had to deal with the assassination attempt on the Daimyo. Learning the history of your predecessors was definitely an interesting one. It was one of the many things she begin to take advantage of once Lady Kizumi took over as the new Raikage. There was still much she had to learn about the others, but she'd gotten started nonetheless. Then there was the battle she had with a giant Sandworn. Whatever that was. Kiho would imitate the motion of puking as she thought of how ugly it might be.

"That's terrible, but also amazing in the same breath. I would love to be able to take on a legendary beast to see how I'd fair against them."

The story took an interesting turn as she ironically ended up bringing up her sister Miyo. It was hard to hide the sudden shift in body language as she was the last person she expected Arashi to bring up while she was here. She'd do her best to play it off, but there was no hiding from Arashi.

"Uhm... Yeah.. Something like that."

Kiho responded softly while looking into the sky for a brief moment. "I don't even know where to even start. Heck, I don't even know what to say about it.. Maybe I'm just still hurt.. I really thought the two of us had something, and then they just, left me hanging.."

Raising her brow, Arashi remembered that the young woman had been looking for someone, almost in reflection to how she had been doing the same and attempting a budding relationship with Asahi. Of course, she had also been trying to work through her other feelings for another person. Granted, she was able to figure it out, but it seemed that things between Kiho and Miyo had been intense, leading to Miyo flaking out. With a blank expression, Arashi would close her eyes before shaking her head. "I'm sorry....Miyo...she can...she's great...but...I think she kinda plays around a lot and doesn't take relationships as seriously as most do..." That wasn't to say that her older sister wasn't capable of doing it, it was just that there were times when it seemed like she would be over her head and want to enjoy life more than just staying still and taking in the moment. That was the difference between the two of them. Miyo had always had a knack for being social and able to mingle. Hell, her first experience at a club with her was proof of that. Still, she liked to string people along too, and often she'd grow bored of people and shift her focus to the next thing. The second form is one which pulls sand from her surroundings and the sand piled on her skin to form a visible barrier and dome like barrier around her. As such, the sand is often pulled from their coats to be used to protect the girl. Kiho would have been lying if she told herself that she wasn't hoping for a more positive response in regard to her sister, but instead she was presented with the opposite. The truth had a way of hurting, but at least now she had something to hold on to in comparison to how she felt before she arrived today. A sigh escaped from her as she came to grip on her romantic reality.

Maybe this was Kami's payback for all the times she sort of played around with others in her younger days. If she had known it felt like this then maybe she would have been a little nicer and up front, but that's why Karma existed. She was ready for something more serious and suddenly she ran into someone as high energy as herself, except this time they had way more experience. Much more. As Arashi continued to speak she never expected to hear that she'd ghosted her own family too.

Her eyes widen slightly as she thought about why anyone would do such a thing, and weirdly enough it also happened when they were in Kusagakure as well. Perhaps their interaction was all apart of some elaborate plan she had, sort of like a last hoorah before ultimately leaving her current life behind. All she could do was shake her head in disappointed before Arashi noted that she was even having trouble in her own love life.

"Wow... You of all people hanging on to a relationship?" Kiho asked rhetorically. "Couldn't be me, especially if I was as amazing as you." Kiho added light heartedly with a smile. Arashi was one of the most amazing people she'd ever met so it was hard to imagine that there was trouble in paradise in her love world. "I guess the saying is true then. Nothing good ever seems to come easy right." A much louder sigh escaped from her before she leaned backward completely while looking into the sky.

"Oh well... At the very least yours has hope and I'm going to pray to my Insect Deity to make sure everything leads to a happy ending."

Hmm, I've never thought of myself like that.. A Deity? Has a nice wing to it.

It was hard to hear, hell it was hard to say it out loud... Miyo was the kind of person who had the freedom and confidence to do a lot of things. Arashi could easily dive into all the times she ignored such things, and count way past the amount of punishment she paid for doing so. In fact, if it wasn't by others, it was to herself. Miyo had to shoulder some of it, but she still had the liberty to do many of the things she couldn't. Mostly because of the responsibility that she placed upon herself. Sometimes, that could be a problem, but often it was what kept her grounded. Still, if Kiho and her had something, perhaps the best person to ask in where it went wrong was Miyo herself. If she could find the woman. In hearing how Kiho couldn't believe that she was struggling with how amazing of a person she was, Arashi would snicker as she shrugged her shoulders as she continued to remain against the wall. "Well...the way I see it...I don't think I could be anyone else...plus...I don't wanna be..." A smile lingered on her face as she shook her head. Asahi was special in a lot of ways. She had never met someone who could infuriate her, lecture her, and still love and care about her outside of members in her family. More than anything else, she had never found someone who could just about match wits with her other than her father. "Well, you definitely played a huge role in my new look. So, thank you!" Kiho exclaimed brightly while waving her head ever so gently side to side to show off her long hair as well as extending one of her legs forward as if she was modeling for a group of photographers. She understood Arashi completely when she expressed how she would never want to be anyone other than herself. Kiho took a great deal of pride in herself and she had her father to thank for it.

All the kids who wished to bully her as a kid found it next to impossible to make her feel less than anyone, and soon after they all rallied around her confidence. It wasn't easy being tall, dark, and beautiful, but she made it look that way anyways. Kiho was glad to be here, and even though the bases for why she came wasn't to entirely catch up it was nice to get that girl on girl time that'd she'd been missing so much.

"Well, just throw'em at me and I'll let you know if its worth it.. I could use some EXTRA attention these days." Kiho added playfully with a seductive smirk before throwing her arms up into the air. This moment was truly an amazing one. If she could kidnap Arashi and bring her home with her nothing would make her happy. She still hadn't quite found the right girlfriend to compliment her the way Arashi did for her.

Nevertheless, girl time appeared to be over as Arashi rightfully got back to the business of why they were here. "Yeah yeah yeah, mature folk stuff." Kiho sighed childishly before flying along side her Sensei as they headed toward what she believe would be the training grounds. When they arrived Arashi begin speaking on some concerns she had with no longer recognizing the faces of previous Jinchuuriki.

How strange was it that her meeting with Arashi was a lot like the one she had with Miroru. They both could sense that something was different in the water with this generations Jinchuuriki. "What are the chances that you and I have the same concerns... I've gotten to meet 3 of them, and all of them were relatively new.. Of course I wish it ended there, but they all seems to possess prodigal like capabilities."

Kiho worked hard and trained hard to learn many of the abilities Chomei possessed, but she would have been lying if she said she continued to work on progressing her Shroud form pass its complete V1 stages. Complacency got the best of her and now she feared that others might have come close to her abilities, or worst, even surpassed her. "I'd hope not to go against you, but I guess the two of us are mature enough to understand that anything can happen."

Kiho hoped she would never have to go against her good friend, but she had to keep her focus in line with what she expressed to Miroru. No use in being a hypocrite now. She hoped not to face her own medicine, but she was damn well prepared if she had to. "We're ready for whatever you got to teach us boss."

Enhanced Smell Somehow, Arashi has gained an enhanced sense of smell. It appears that she’s been hanging around dogs for too long and has obtained a sense of smell that rivals that of a blood hound. In reality, she has simply discovered that by channeling some chakra to her nose she can enhance the cells within it and gain a super sense of smell that may act as a sensor and tracking technique. She can smell out strangers, steel and various other things. Arashi may retract her chakra from her nose as well to make her sense of smell return to normal. Due in most regards to her heavily enhanced sense of smell, With her continued usage of this ability, she has now become capable of near passively monitoring the exact range of a target and their positioning within 250 meters. (Able to turn "off and on" this enhanced sense at the 'prick' of chakra to her nose) Hunter's Instinct With her training from her mother, along with the lessons she learned from her time with the Saeko's Clan, Arashi adapted her tracking ability to a level similar to that of a sensory nin. As such, allowing her much more precision in her ability to find and keep on the heels of individual targets or groups through use of her enhanced sense of smell and ability to identify individuals and objects at long range. Will of Sand Will of Sand- Adding the element of her own chakra into the mixture of sand, Arashi is capable of faster and stronger sand manipulation and attacks. The extent of this control is due to the supply gathered within her gourd, granting the bonus of power, but limited to only the amount contained within it. This ability makes her constructions more dense and harder to break down, and the swiftness of their creation is instant rather than requiring the prior time of build-up as before due to the strengthened bond between Arashi and Shukaku. Ichibi Curse Seal The only ability Arashi has competent control over, this is the ability to utilize the curse seal marks over Shukaku’s body for her own bidding. Arashi can will the seals to cover her own body and control them to form various seals to preform fuuinjutsu from her own skin. As such, she can summon weapons she has sealed within them and rearrange the seals to be able to perform various fuuinjutsu that she has knowledge of without scrolls by using her own skin.
