"Gotta hurry Fuu, the protest is starting soon." the girl would say to herself as she made her way out of the Tanjo organizations hidden hideaway and rushed towards the nearby town that just a few miles out from their location. They were set to have a protest that was meant to dissuade the people of the village from allowing a deforestation effort from coming into their backyard. With the Tanjo's number dwindling they couldn't afford to lose any more support and were thankful for any that they could get, as such they wanted to make sure they stood with them and would arrive to provide back up.

Today's rally was rather small but it did happen in the early morning ours. And after packing her things into her bag the youth would make her way out of the forest and towards the town. There was an older gentlemen who stood gathering everyone up, each individual had their signs in tow some of whom even had the Tanjo clans logo adorning them.

"Alright everyone...we're heading down the first block and we won't stop until everyone has headed our message, they're already set up shop and we won't let them take down any more of our beloved nations bounty." the man would say. Fuu would make way through the crowd many of the townsfolk happy to see her. "And the Tanjo are here to offer our full support!" the girl would say with a smile on her face.

The old man would smile to her delighted at her arrival, "Hello young lady, thank the pathfinder for sending out a representative we were worried no one show." Fuu would place her hand over her heart and with her Tanjo patch adorning for all to see would recite the organizations creed. "Hear me now as Woodsman Fuu, "For the rebirth of a new earth, from old bark shall new life spark, from sea to seed, the Tanjo protect earth and its people in its time of need!" she would bow to the man. "We are at your service, now c'mon!" everyone would cheer as they began their way down the road.

Tokito watched the small group of men and women moving onwards the village with a calm, focused look, her lips quirked up in a soft, knowing smile as the chanting grew louder the closer they came. Twenty-nine and looking for all the world like she was forty, the Hanchou of Shusui Village’s town guard stood tall, the men and women arrayed in an almost parade-like formation at the front of the town. Five guards, plus herself- less than half the size of the coming protestors, but a well-disciplined unit could put a mob three times its size to flight if it maintained discipline. Fortunately for the Tanjo, that wasn’t what they were here to do today.

She and the men had discussed what to do about the planned protests nearly all night- and after a great deal of dialogue, a compromise had been reached. Those who wished to join it would be allowed, while the rest simply stood guard, ensuring no one was hurt in the group’s march. So it was that she found herself here, watching the road as the gaggle of roughly fifteen men and women slowly made their way towards her village… led by a young girl with blonde hair and the Tanjo’s signature red scarf.

No one moved at first, but as the protestors got closer a few of the men fidgeted, clearly wanting to at the very least move to join the girl (who was surprisingly cute). So Tokito did what she always did when there was indecision in the ranks: she gave an order, voice loud enough to be heard over the growing chants. "You have my permission to act freely, men. Keep the peace… and save the trees.”

Random Mission Scenario Enabled: Unexpected Assistance!

As the group would make their way down the road the Fuu would keep her eyes peeled as she watched the road in an effort to try and make certain that there were no sounds of trouble.

"This land is ours that much is true, deforestation will not do!" the girl would pump her fist as she spoke throughout the town allowing to let her message be heard loud and clear and even somewhat down the road.

As they got closer she'd notice the guardsmen who stood in front of them Fuu was a bit nervous thinking it might become a problem but as they moved closer the group would split apart and she'd overhear the permission she was given from the guard which would prompt a wide beam to pop up on the young woman's face.

The two of them would stand before her and the others would form a perimeter she'd smile as she kept moving forward the group keeping up their chants as they headed towards the end of the road, despite having help from the friendly town guard she'd still keep her eyes peeled but now she has a few extra individuals to help. With that she'd craft a few handseals in order to project her voice a bit further in order for it to be heard loud and clear not enough to harm anyone but enough for their words to be heard.

DESCRIPTION:
The user modulates and enhances their own voice box using chakra, causing their voice to become leagues louder than it was previously - commonly used in warfare to bark orders from afar, narrate a fight, or just be loud in general. This technique doesn't harm other people, but could be annoying, or distracting if used properly.

Ear protection can lessen or eliminate the noise levels caused by the technique based on the strength of said protection. Also, that if the sound waves come into contact with water or Suiton-based chakra constructs, the sound will be absorbed and muted, thus making the technique less potent and useful. If one is out of the jutsu's audible range (180 meter radius), this technique does nothing.

The group moved forwards, their chants growing in strength as they slowly made their way down the main thoroughfare of the village, attracting a fair bit of attention thanks to the guard escort. A few of the villagers gave them dirty looks, but most of them just seemed too tired or bored to care, with those in support of the Tanjo’s presence still clearly in the minority despite the guard’s support. Still, no one attacked the group while they marched, and soon they found themselves in the town square… Where they were confronted by a small group of men, dressed in workman’s clothes, each holding a woodsman’s ax.

"ENOUGH!” One of them, a rather large fellow with thick, powerful arms, bellowed as the group moved in, his voice carrying over the crowd as the chants quieted. He seemed to hesitate at the sight of Tokito and her men, but only for a moment, his voice carrying across the square as he hefted his ax at Fuu, singling her out as the obvious leader. "The people of this town are done with you tree-hugging freaks! Logging is the only damn thing keeping this place alive and we aren’t going to stop just because a bunch of fucking kids want to march through our home and whine about it… even if they have an escort.”

The men behind him, about ten in all, murmured their agreement, none of them particularly enthused about the town guard’s involvement in all this… but none of them moving. "Now turn yourselves around and go home. Before we make you.”

Fuu would keep moving with her protestors and continue to march with the others until she noticed a group of men out in distance which would appear and shout at her to stop. Fuu would raise her hand to the group of them and would look to the man in front of her hearing him out even as he raised his axe towards her. Despite his protests she would look to the man unmoved by his voice and responded

"Sir, we understand that logging is what helps this town grow but when is enough enough and what purpose will it serve if you continue? her voice would become more indignant as she spoke as if trying to keep him accountable. "Will you replant these trees? Will you find homes for the animals you displaced? Will you be there for the eco system you tore apart?"

She would furrow her brows to the man. "Without nature we cant flourish and we won't let you go on! These efforts are done out of greed and these woods are sacred! I don't want to hurt you, but if you attempt to harm me or these protestors I will defend them."

The girl would say standing her ground, in her mind there was a better way to earn money than just logging she'd even be fine with it if it severed a practical purpose but with this town already being on the slightly above average size what the reason?

A fight may have been upon her but the girl would watch herself especially with the town guard present perhaps they'd be able to allow them to resolve this issue peacefully, they did live here after all she didn't want to hurt them if she could help it.

The large man snorted, his face twisting in a scowl of disdain at Fuu’s words; it was clear from the look on his face, nothing she had to say was going to budge him a single inch from what he believed. The men behind him knew it too, looking nervously between each other as the girl spoke, though none of them backed away, perhaps too afraid (or too stupid) to stand up to their large leader. The square was filled with tension, thick enough that even the guards that had joined in with the protest were getting antsy. If a fight broke out, they didn’t exactly have the numbers to keep things from devolving into an all out riot- and with the townsfolk’s opinions of the Tanjo so unknown, things could get ugly real quick.

"I intend to get back to work.” The big man, Kazuma, said, his teeth flashing in a soft, knowing smile as he lowered his ax. "We’ve got a hundred trees to cut down today, and all this blathering is wasting precious daylight. We came here to let you know we aren’t going to be intimidated anymore- if you try to stop us, we’ll cut you down and wet your precious trees with your blood.” With that, the big man motioned for his men to move, each one unslinging his ax as he looked down at Fuu, waiting.

"Is that clear, little girl?”

As the man would continue to stand his ground there was an obvious tension in the air and Fuu was not looking to start a bloody confrontation but slowly but surely that was becoming somewhat unavoidable. With that the girl would craft 2 handseals summoning forth three additional clones in order to even out their numbers. "Sir I'll say it one more time, please stand aside this doesn't have to result in violence."

After a moment the girl would gesture for the town guard to move forward in order to attempt and intimidate them creating a wall between themselves and the protestors who would continue to rally however the town was on them Fuu knew that these men were her people born and bred in Moku no Kuni like her and while she may not have agreed with their actions she wasn't going to do anything to hurt them if she didn't have too.

She'd stare the man down thinking his words to be utterly abhorrent and had hoped that they'd've garnered a degree of sympathy from the townsfolk for their actions. Mnay had opinions on the Tanjo but not many of them were ever seen up close. She could only hope that her gesture of intimidation would dissuade the man.

DESCRIPTION:
The Kage Bunshin technique evenly distributes your chakra between one or more clones with form and substance.

The clones created by this technique are able to utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows, has all of their special abilities, as well as their kekkei genkai. Typically a clone's equipment doesn't retain any special abilities and the clone itself is dispersed when hit with a single attack or incapacitated, although the clone can also choose to disperse itself or be dispersed by the user.

When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained along with it's remaining chakra are passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones.

If Kazama was intimidated by Fuu’s display of Ninjutsu, he didn’t show it… though his men most certainly did, each one backing away a step as three more of the blonde girl simply appeared out of thin air. Kazama gave a single, withering glance back at his men, pulling them back in line- but it was obvious his hold on them wasn’t as firm as he would have liked. They feared him, yes, but only so much, and it was becoming more and more clear just how close to the limit they were getting. If there was to be a confrontation, it would have to be now.

"This ends when I have your pretty blonde head mounted on my damn wall.” The tall man said, dropping his shoulders slightly as he moved forward, slow at first, but rapidly increasing in speed as his men hesitated for a moment- and then followed, slowly moving in to attack the protestors, axes in hand. The town guard followed suit, each one looking grim as they drew forth clubs, leveled spears, with Tokito pulling out a long, odd looking blade with a thick, single-edged blade with a wide crossguard, a slight curve, and a flared tip.

Kazama, for his part, came at Fuu and Fuu alone, hefting his massive woodsman ax in a wide, obvious arc that was nonetheless incredibly fast, clearly trying to make good on his threat, though his men seemed far less eager to fight, each one only holding their weapons at the ready, half-watching their leader to see what might happen. Even the townsfolk seemed taken aback by the sudden violence, with many staring in abject horror and surprise… though no one stepped in to help just yet.

Fuu would see that the man would refuse to backdown and as such the girl would quickly form a few handseals causing her arms to quickly form into their hardened gelatinous form protecting her from the swing from his Axe, that would lodge itself inside of the hardened substance.

As her clones stepped out of the way. "Enough!" as they stepped apart her clones would craft a few seals of their own and would grasp each of his arms in an effort to keep him restrained with one of the clones specifically attempting to tweak his wrist in order to force him to drop his weapon, As Fuu would attempt to push it out by its handle trying to pry it from her rubbery taffy like form.

The other men seemed rather taken aback from the idea of confrontation but Fuu was trying her best not to harm them these were her people they lived in this country just like she did she wasn't about to shed their blood but needed to find a way to keep them safe.

"I will not let you hurt them and if anyone steps forward, I won't hesitate." with that the girls body would begin to undergo a more complete transformation as the exoskeleton would begin to leak from the pores of her skin and coat her torso and face in its hard jelly like fluid that would harden in place her features would shift as her Sclera would fade to black and her eyes and hair would be given a Neon Blue glow.

Kazama, for his part, was no fool; the moment he saw Fuu forming hand seals he backed off, his long wind up actually helping him as he leapt back, stopping his atack, eyes going wide at the girl’s sudden transformation. A flicker of fear passed through his eyes at the sight, his confidence faltering… but only for a moment. The brute’s face widened into a smile then, his voice booming as he pointed at her, clearly trying to stoke the townsfolk’s fear. "You see! Look at the beast in human skin they send!”

A few of the guardsmen backed away at his words, glancing at Tokito, who looked at the blonde for a long moment, expression inscrutable… only for the woman to shake her head and yell, loud enough for everyone to hear, "The only monster here is you, Kazama. She was defending herself- from YOUR axe!”

"Strong words from a simpering whore.” Kazama shot back, grinding his teeth as he glanced about, looking at his men, all of whom had taken several steps back. Clearly, they wanted absolutely none of whatever was going on with Fuu, but weren’t quite ready to risk the brute’s wrath just yet either. Another push, perhaps, and they might break… though who could know, with how people were? A cornered rat fought twice as hard, after all.

As the girl began her transformation she would note that Kazama would back off, Fuu would continue to stand her ground seeing how shaky he had gotten, and how the crowd had turned on him. Kazama would attempt to rally with the others but to no avail as someone from the crowd shouted an obscenity at him. "No one is on your side today, Kazama." the girl would say looking to him as he stood before her seemingly out of options. "I don't want to hurt you, now stand down." Fuu would look around at the others.

"All we want is for you to stop excessively removing the trees and if you must at least have the decency to replant what you remove." she'd look over at the others in the surrounding area her voice exhorting him to stand down. "We don't want you to not work, we just want you to be mindful, think about what you're doing and the damage it can cause Moku no Kuni and the rest of the world in the long run"

"These are the reasons why we do this, work with us to preserve nature." With that the girl would extend out her hand still not wanting to harm him but more so to attempt and bring and end to the protest and forge an olive branch, the path finder had been working on plans for alternative solutions for sometime now. Working with some of the more mechanically saavy members attempting to find ways to resolve the issues using other methods besides just mere ideas, but they couldn't pull of some of these without the support of the people.

"Bullshit! You’re a freak who just…” Kazama said, trailing off as he pointed his ax at Fuu but not stepping forward, his eyes flicking between her and the slowly growing crowd around them. A great number of the town had come to see what the commotion was about, and most of them had seen how the Tanjo girl had done almost everything she could to avoid a fight- even with her strange, fearful transformation. No one spoke, but the silence was telling enough. If he had hoped to win the hearts of the town’s people with his antics, he had failed. Miserably. Even his own men looked ready to turn on him.

"Fine.” The brute said, lowering his ax as he glared down at Fuu, clearly speaking to her even if he spoke loud enough for the whole crowd to hear. "Have it your way then. But when these tree-loving freaks run the town into the ground with their idealism, don’t come crying to me and mine. You’ll have no one to blame but yourselves.” And with that, Kazama walked away, the crowd parting around him as he stormed off… and the crowd turned to Fuu, expectant.

The man seemed to concede and make his way out of their path only for Fuu to have the crowd turn towards her the girl seemingly now had everyone's attention and it would seem that everything had went over much better than she would've hoped, but now she needed to try and rally those who didn't seem to follow her all that well.

"Thank you for understanding sir." with that the girl would march forward through the town with the others, along with the town guard continuing their march but would also give a small speech in the process of doing so.

"The Tanjo's goal is to preserve the sanctity of Nature, we are here to protect nature and ask that you our people stand with us, there are several individuals here who seek to remove our forests for the sake of their own profit and refuse to replenish what they take and we shall not stand for it."

The girl would turn and swivel her head towards the other members of the town trying to get them all to rally behind her. "This land is sacred to just us its sacred to everyone and I for one will not allow tyrants to take them from us without giving back!" She'd then look towards the older man and his workers.

"And all we ask is for your support and cooperation in return we can provide you with protection and ensure your safety! Are you with me!" The girl would raise her fist hoping that she managed to get the crowd on her side, giving a rousing speech as best she could.

The people of Shusui watched as Fuu spoke, a surprising number of them paying close attention to the blonde’s words. Many nodded along with her message, not quite understanding everything but feeling the emotion of the burgeoning crowd, including several of Kazama’s men. Not every one seemed enthused by her speech, but no one seemed willing to stand against the march any more, and a good part of the town had joined the protest.

The rest of the march passed by without issue, the crowd dwindling as they neared the end of the village, the enthusiasm of the moment waning as the older, more mature villagers walked off, ready to get back to their daily lives. Some of the younger ones, those who worked for a living, followed soon after- but that still left a sizable crowd of people following Fuu and her band of protestors, many of them young and eager to do something, anything to make a difference.

Fuu herself was swarmed by a good half dozen young adults, all roughly her own age, looking to sign up for the Tanjo, though whether they had the mettle to actually pass the requisite tests and become a woodsman like her was a mystery. It was, perhaps, the best outcome that one could hope for, given the circumstances.

With everything the girl had managed to accomplished she seemed to get some people on her side and as their march continued, but as the day waned and enthusiasm fell many would depart but it would appear that many of the younger men and women around her age seemed enthused about joining which put a smile on the young girls face. "Come along here, take these." the girl would say as she took out a gaggle of patches that she'd provide to the young recruits.

"Take these and heads into the forest, keep walking until you find someone wearing a uniform like mine, show them your badges and they'll allow you inside." this was the standard process for recruitment. Young prospects would be given a badge that would belong to a member of the organization and these items would be scanned by the guardsmen on duty.

With that they'd be verified using a signature listen on the badge and allowed entry to the compound where they would begin their training. With that the girl would make her way towards the edge of town and bow to the town guards men. "Thank you very much for your help today." from there she'd return home to the compound to report to the pathfinder the results of her outing which had gone over much better than they expected, all in all a good days work.
