Takame couldn't help but chuckle at the fact that Konsho agreed to his proposal of just forgetting the night and drinking their cares away. Honestly, it was something Takame himself could use too even if he wasn't much of a drinker himself. Maybe it would be okay to just let loose once in a while its not like he would have to worry about making many mistakes since he was always watched anyway. Then again being watched so frequently got boring so why not just hide from those peeping eyes and do something of his volition for once? "I've got an idea follow me," Takame would say after taking the drink he had been nursing. "A change of scenery if you will," he would add as he got up from his seat and began walking out of the party using the crowd to keep those prying eyes off him and Konsho so the two of them could escape from those around them. Sure the inn the contestants had been staying in wasn't a fancy place, but if they went to their quarters it had to some degree a sense of privacy. Luckily this inn had a bar next to it so Takame was able to get them some Shochu for Konsho and himself to enjoy when they got back to Takame's room. Konsho had been planning to pour a second drink when Takame suggested the duo leave to drink elsewhere, the briefest stirring of confusion entering the genin's mind. Had the blue haired man been in a more stable mindset, he might have questioned the need to change scenery, but such introspection was something Konsho wished to avoid. So with a small nod, the shinobi left the populated party alongside the dark haired genin of Kumogakure. As they stepped outside, the red eyed shinobi would let out a small sigh of relief as the chaotic sounds of the party were given distance from him. Although Konsho was uncertain if he really wanted to avoid an incident: he knew he absolutely despised the feeling, as whenever his senses were overstimulated he often felt as if he was under attack, yet after a while his mind and body would simply shut down and stop processing- which after what he had been through was something that sounded darkly tempting.

Konsho's flat expression slowly returned as they were removed from the party, his face remaining unchanging as ever even as the duo approached Takame's room. Never thought I'd be entering someone else's room at the exams. Then again I wasn't expecting to loos- A small defensive step backwards as a light flickered in the hall way, simulating a flash of light that not only hurt Konsho's eyes but reminded him too much of what had occurred. The shinobi would loosen slightly after the moment passed, although for him it felt far longer than that as his own body processed the coincidental event as an attack. His right arm hurt, causing the shinobi to grit as he tried to distract himself. Taki said something about going into other people's rooms, something about protection?... Some armor sounded nice right now. At least it would stop further injur- Shaking his head, blue hair shook around the olive tan skinned man's head, red eyes poking out beneath their shade as he turned to face Takame. "Let's get started then." Sitting at the nearest surface, Konsho would begin to pour himself some of the drink Takame had brought. Waiting for Takame to pour his own, Konsho would throw back the drink a bit too quickly, coughing slightly as his body processed a drink he had not tasted before. Something between the more wavy and mildly sweet tang of vodka and the smokey and smooth flavor of whiskey. A unique one to be sure. A small warmth was building in his stomach, which meant the shots were starting to have the mildest of effects finally. So the numbness would soon follow.

It was weird, to say the least, to have another in his room especially since Takame was the loner type for sure, but at least this way he wasn't in an area with a ton of people and Konsho had already seen his softer side so it wouldn't be too much of an issue to share some time with his fellow shinobi. Still, his guard would be a little up since he could lead himself to be a bit vulnerable much like when he was around Azarea and he couldn't risk that just yet especially with all the eyes watching him. Sure they might have given one of the watchers the slip at the party but he guaranteed someone was watching his room right this moment so it was best to keep his wits about him. Konsho would start things off fairly quickly taking a quick guzzle of a shot and Takame would comment, "Might want to pace yourself if you want the alcohol to last." Taking a look at his drink though he would simply shrug and take a shot himself. Since it was his first shot he didn't feel any numbness or anything, but did feel the warmth of the drink go down his throat. "That's something," Takame would say looking at his now empty glass unsure if this was a drink he liked or not, but then again was he here to enjoy the drink or simply drink to forget?
