Raika sighs as she comes to one of the training fields just outside of the village of Konoha, getting herself ready for some more strength training. She already had her Hung Gar rings on her wrists and ankles, ensuring that she'd be weighed down quite nicely for the training, although she was starting to get used to the weights now that she'd worn them so often and for so long. She starts off her training with some stretching, going through several exercises that leave her feeling far more loose and her muscles much warmer. She'd gone ahead and already unzipped her black coveralls pretty far down, exposing a lot of her muscular body, since her dark gray tank top didn't leave much to the imagination in that regard. Her purple eyes are unfocused as she goes through the stretching and flexing, since doing so didn't really need a lot of mental focus.

"Okay. After this, there's gonna be more tempura-style crocodile tail. Oooh, yeah, that's gonna taste good..."

This method of hyping herself up for exercise with the promise of some good, nostalgic food had worked great for her in the past, and it certainly got her more eager for training now as well. One last exercise before she starts working out in earnest, she drops to the ground and begins pushing up off the ground, rapidly pressing up and then settling back down until her chest barely touches the grass. Her eyes are focused directly forwards, unaware that there's someone else nearby. The working out she's already done has left the Genin with sweat popping out over her back and arms, and even trailing down her abs before she stands back up, her long black hair held back in a ponytail as she towers a full six foot three inches over the grass.

It was a beautiful day, the sun beaming down over the land of fire with a breeze to cool it down for only a moment. It was a great day to relax and so the ravenette did just that. Hidden amongst the treetops, the girl stretched out with her legs crossed. Romance novel in hand as her eyes steadily scanned the page. Since working her way into active duty the Uchiha often found herself with a bit of free time. An interim genin leader for teams that lacked their own, she was tasked with helping the genin learn and take strides to their goals.

So when a certain hyuuga passed by, Kazui couldn’t help but become intrigued by the woman - more specifically her stature and strength. It wasn’t hard to pick up on potential, so If she were going to train any of the genin in this training ground - she wanted her. From the treetops the girl swung her body up right and held a single handseal and in a moment's notice she disappeared, her crows flocking around her as chakra flickered her down towards the ground.

Walking while still reading her novel the teen continued forward, her free hand tucked into the pocket of her flak jacket which remained unzipped, revealing the slim black turtleneck that she wore beneath. She wore matching shorts and sandals as well. And for the first time in over two years she wore the Konohagakure headband and did so proudly.

"Hyuga..Raika? Is it?” Kazui called out once she eventually stumbled upon the woman doing her exercise, stepping out only a few feet in front of her. Her eyes only briefly met with Raika’s own as the ravenette spoke once again. "You’re entered into the chunin exams, yes?” Her gaze returned to the novel for a moment as she slightly closed the book, using her finger as a makeshift bookmark. If she remembered correctly this woman was placed on the same team with her lazy cousin, Kai, and the soon to be Uchiha bride, Shinde. "Hmm.” She hummed as her eyes returned to the genin.

"You look pretty strong and motivated..unlike Kai-kun.” A bit of sass in her tone as she spoke of her cousin. Though despite their differences, she was aware of his potential as well. Looking back into her book the girl spoke further. "But even he is a decent combatant.” Pulling her free hand out from her pocket, Kazui flipped to the next page of her novel.

The ability also extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including the user, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, the user can perceive its location and movement with great detail.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

Raika is just finishing up on her warm-up when she hears a voice speak up from behind her, and the stranger stops in front of her. It surprises her a bit, but then she hadn't activated her Byakugan, so this other person was able to practically walk right up behind her without the Hyuga noticing. It surprises her enough that she nearly jumps, but she manages to avoid making any kind of a scene. It's still even more strange to her that this other woman knows her name, and even that she herself has entered the Chuunin Exams; it doesn't help that Raika had been stationed in Kawa for a "diplomatic mission" until just recently, and so she had missed quite a lot of historic moments in Konohagakure, including much of the drama involving someone named Kazui Uchiha. All she knows about this person is that they know about her, she seems to know Kai on a first-name basis, and is even aware of his laid-back manner and his apparent laziness.

Then again, Raika might be the only one to know that Kai really will put his effort into it if it means protecting others, but she doesn't immediately speak up to defend him, as this is all something of a surprise for her, thinking she'd be able to get in some training by herself. Without an official team lead, it seems Genin Team 1 was effectively left to train themselves at the moment, but with this woman's statement, most people would catch on quickly enough to understand that she'd trained with Kai, most likely.

"Well, yeah, I guess you could say I'm a better-than-decent combatant.~ And that's not just boasting, I beat Kai in a spar pretty badly!"

Of course, this is with Raika's full knowledge that Kai would have likely been more than capable of winning if he'd used his Ninjutsu instead of relying almost solely on using weapons with her, but she doesn't feel that letting this dark-haired woman know that would be too terribly necessary. And it would save Raika her ego.

It's at this moment that the Genin seems to notice that she's talking and reading from some kind of romance novel at the same time, which is just a bit awkward for Raika, but she at least doesn't act like it's odd, to her credit. As it is, Raika tilts her head a little while looking back down at the kunoichi in front of her, comparing their difference in height; it was fairly normal for Raika to tower over most other women, but even standing almost a full foot taller than her, Raika feels like the difference in height isn't giving her any amount of advantage.

"So you know my name and even that I'm gonna be in the Chuunin Exams, and you know Kai, too. Unfortunately, I'm afraid I wasn't in the village for about... oh, almost a decade, so I'm afraid you'll have to fill me in on who you are, ma'am..."

"Hmm.” Kazui hummed as her gaze drifted from her book yet again, catching a glimpse of Raika’s full stature as the Hyuga rose to her tower height. She was nearly as tall Kazui’s own crush, though only being bested by a few inches. Despite her size however, Kazui could sense she may have startled the woman a bit so perhaps she wasn’t as prepared as she would’ve expected.

Albeit, from the need to protect and stand up for her teammate, Kai, the jonin was able to tell that Raika surely had fought the boy once maybe even twice - and according to her she was a better-than-decent fighter. Smirking a bit, the ravenette shrugged her shoulders as the mention of her having bested Kai in their duel. Impressive to say the least, but there was more beneath the surface and the small teen could tell. Perhaps Kai held back? Maybe he let her win simply because Raika was a lady? Who knew, Kazui herself surely wouldn’t put it past the boy.

"Is that so?” She asked.

In addition to that, the jonin was aware that Raika had no clue who she was. Not only could Kazui sense it through the way the Hyuga carried herself and the conversation, but she could tell by the look on her face as well. This was fine with Kazui, although she was a well known individual stretching far across the lands, this gave the ravenette the chance to start with a clean slate. Her gaze returned to the page of her book for a brief moment, her resting softly as a sigh escaped from her breath. "That’s not important..” She started, her gaze returning to the Hyuga. "And quite frankly I’ll never tell you who I am, what I do, or what I'm capable of…unless you show me how strong you are.” Kazui mentioned as she closed her book once again, a more interested look worn over her expression.

"To cut the crap, all you need to know for now is that I’m a jonin team leader, I enjoy being a kunoichi, and you appear to be someone with a natural affinity for being a kunoichi as well.” Giving a shrug Kazui briefly explained herself and subtly explained the reason why she was entertaining the genin even further. "Perhaps you would like to test your ability against yet another Uchiha?” She questioned, hinting towards her own lineage as well.

Raika can almost sense something about the shorter woman in her response to her boasting, that there's a reason this stranger doesn't seem to have much reaction to the fact that she beat Kai in a spar. The dismissive "I see" certainly makes it seem that she's not all that impressed that she was able to beat an Uchiha, so the Hyuuga can almost certainly tell that this woman knows something more about Kai. She watches the shorter ninja sigh and return to her romance novel before glancing back up at Raika and telling her that she would never tell Raika who she is, what she does, or even what she's capable of, making the Genin's eyebrows furrow for a moment at the rudeness of such a statement until she continues with the caveat that she wants to see how strong the Hyuuga is. She smirks when it seems that this woman lets out a little more information before this spar even starts, by telling the amaranthine-eyed woman that she's not just a kunoichi for Konoha, but also a Jounin team leader, and another member of the Uchiha clan. This still gives Raika pause, however; does this mean she knows Kai personally and takes issue with her boasting? She hopes not, as a Jounin is likely to put her on the ground quite easily.

"Well, pitting a Genin against a Jounin team leader wouldn't be much of a test of anything, I'd get trounced pretty easily. But I've never said no to a spar, and I don't plan on starting today!"

At least Raika seems aware that the odds are heavily stacked against her, but she doesn't seem to mind too much. It'll also give her a chance to try out some more things with a member of the Uchiha clan, and the more experience she can get with them, the better; after all, the Uchiha clan is about as famous as the Hyuuga clan is, so a natural rivalry makes complete sense. She'd also seen that some Uchiha used their eyes for different purposes, since Tokaku could use Genjutsu effectively and Kai was able to use Ninjutsu. This could potentially be very interesting.

"But uh, maybe there should be some kind of ground rules first, since there's such a big difference between us. Neither of us gets a lot out of me instantly eating dirt at the very start of the spar!"

There wasn’t much to Kazui. She wasn’t tall, she didn’t have a muscular or toned physique, she simply appeared like the average teenage girl. "I am unsure of the team leaders you have come across since your return but my approach is not to slam you into the dirt for my job is to make you work and make you learn - but if I have to slam you into the dirt to accomplish that then…” She shrugged. Nevertheless, with a quick breath the Uchiha placed her free hand upon her hip and pondered on the grounds of their bout. "How about this.." Gesturing her hand forward in a swinging motion Kazui gave her offer. "I’ll give you 15 minutes to separate me..from my book.” With a quick jump turn Kazui presented the pouch latched onto the small of her back before turning to face the Hyūga yet again. "It won’t be easy, I'm quite fond of my belongings.” She joked.

"To make things more interesting I’ll even limit myself to only this immediate area..like a boxing ring of sorts. So no running. What do you say?” Kazui asked

Raika can't help but to raise an eyebrow when the woman suggests that speaking something and putting the mind to it could enable the belief, but she doesn't really put much stock in that. Lots of people had boasted that they could bare-handed fight a crocodile, and really had seemed to believe it, and at least that many people had ended up in a croc's belly, too. She doesn't voice this skepticism, however, because she can consider it something of a lesson in being positive, which is one of the things that Raika really does believe in. Optimism might not always lead to success, but pessimism always got on Raika's nerves.

"Well, you're the teacher, so I'd have to take your word for it."

Then the challenge and the rules for said challenge are laid out, and although Raika isn't certain how she's actually going to get that romance novel from the woman almost a foot shorter than her, but she feels that this likely means that she's really very confident that she can avoid having the novel taken. Which suggests to Raika that caution is going to be necessary for her. But the Hyuuga is definitely optimistic, judging by the way she activates her Byakugan, keeping a firm focus on the book in the other woman's pouch at her lower back, and she gets into a more ready position, bending her knees just a bit to allow them to stay springy and ready for immediate action.

"I say you're gonna need to make sure your wallet isn't taken too!"

It might have been somewhat boastful, but she was perhaps putting what the Jonin told her into practice. She brings both arms up, flexing her fingers on each hand before pulling them into fists, tightening her hands as she prepares for the other woman's signal to begin. After all, it would be quite rude of her to interrupt her superior after a free offer to test her skills against a more high-ranking Uchiha, and although Kawa had undone a lot of the Hyuuga's teachings, it hadn't removed all of her respect for others.

Stretching her arms across her chest, the ravenette would prepare herself for battle.

Dropping into a battle ready stance, Kazui would dash towards the Hyuga, seeking to strike the woman with a spinning back kick towards her sternum with enough force to sting but still enough for the genin to manage if it did, however find its way home. Raika notices the smile, and isn't sure if she's intimidated by the woman's smirking or not. She could have just been responding positively to her confidence. It certainly seems to just be actual mirth and not a sign of pain to come when she praises her enthusiasm, so Raika takes the smile at face value. When Kazui asks if she's ready, Raika's own eyes flash from purple to the pure white of the Byakugan, veins forming at either side of her face as she focuses intently on the Uchiha, who's moving lower into a battle stance. Raika's eyes don't even need to move to keep track of that small movement, her focus intent on the other woman before she dashes towards the Genin. Raika actually loses track of her opponent, but makes an assumption that she's going to be moving directly towards Raika, so she needs to make an immediate move.

Instead of trying to dodge, which would be hopeless in this situation where the person she's sparring with is too fast for her to actually keep up with, she decides that a full area counter-attack would be far more effective. With a sudden movement based on years of practice, Raika actually drops down into the Jyuuken fighting stance, and although she can't see Kazui, she acts as though the Uchiha is already on top of her, expelling chakra from every tenketsu point on her body in a sudden burst. Such an eruption of chakra would normally put anyone within range of the Hyuuga's Hakke into a temporary stun, which might at least cause Kazui to slow down enough for Raika to react to her.

Just as Kazui flew in closer to deliver her strike to the Hyuga, her mind'st eye couldn’t help but to sense that something was coming from the young genin. Hmm. The woman hummed mentally as she knew she only had a split second to react. Pulling her kick in an instant, Kazui formed a single handseal and in a flash the jonin flickered away behind the guise of a murder of crows before reappearing just a few feet behind Raika. The woman initially landed with her back to the Hyuga but quickly turned to deliver a spinning back fist towards the older kunoichi.

She wasn’t looking to harm the genin, however Kazui did mean to push her beyond her limits. She did see potential in the Hyuga after all, truly a match for plenty of other genin. Quickly following the first spinning fist, the jonin would send a kick towards the woman’s midsection. Most shinobi would be hesitant to maintain such close proximity to a Hyuga in combat regardless of their rank, however Kazui was confident in her abilities to maintain as well. Perhaps that was her father’s personality rubbing off on the young woman.

Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Raika is a bit disappointed that her plan doesn't really work, but she figures that should have been expected from an experienced Jounin like Kazui. At least Raika can see Kazui's return, although what exactly she's doing is hard to determine with most of Kazui in her blind spot. She can at least tell from the movement of her feet that she's turning her body, so she drops her body by bending her knees and dropping down to get as low as possible. Despite her odd movement, she only barely avoids getting knocked out by the fist, and gets a glancing blow across the top of her head instead. Thankfully, this puts her in an even better position to avoid the following kick by dropping her upper body backwards, in a position some of the monks might have referred to as Supta Vajrasana - while it might seem like her legs are in a weak position, they're acting more like springs, which could allow her to leap to her feet again suddenly, if she needs to.

At the moment, however, they allow her to drop low enough to let the kick fly way over her, while she aims a strike at Kazui's upright leg, attacking the knee with chakra as the Hyuuga often do. After all, any damage done by the Jyuuken would be fully and quickly reversible, while her more physically destructive Taijutsu techniques could put most ninja of her own rank in the hospital, and the last thing she wanted to do was cause harm to the woman that was training her.

Or at least, Raika hoped she had her; otherwise, such an exclamation would be quite embarrassing. Which isn't to say that her position wasn't also a bit embarrassing, but Raika wasn't really thinking about that kind of thing, even in this position. She had Hibana and Tokaku for that, after all.

The woman couldn’t help but smile as she clipped the top of Raika’s head and felt her kick whiff effortlessly through the wind right where Raika was expected to be. She’s quick. The Ravenette thought to herself as she followed through with her kick, her momentum carrying her leg across her body in such a way that allowed her to effortlessly spin and rotate herself but more importantly her planted leg out of harm's way of being struck by a potentially painful technique. With a short leap backwards, there would be approximately 6 feet between the two before the jonin charged in once more.

Her hands flew at the speed of light seemingly, aiming to deliver a pair of blows one from each hand aimed for the Hyuga’s stomach and head respectively. The strikes were quick however Raika would have no trouble dealing with the force behind them as Kazui was pulling them a bit, still would be painful to be struck by head on however.

Following her quick jab combo, the ravenette looked to land a knee to her midsection as she performed a slight hop and brought her left knee forward hoping to jab it into Raika’s right side next to the liver. Again quick and precise, but not impossible to handle.

Playing into the offensive game, Kazui knew that if she did this Raika would more than likely overlook the objective mentioned at the start as the intenseness of battle often caused the true objective to get drowned out. An important lesson for any shinobi to remember, and the Uchiha was waiting to see if the woman would take things into her own pace to better dictate how she would retrieve the novel from Kazui.

Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. While it might have seemed that Raika's position on the ground was too static, her legs were full of potential energy that she turned kinetic again as soon as Kazui had jumped back. As Raika leaps to her feet again, she takes a moment to consider her other possibilities, since it seemed it would be a bit difficult for her to be able to get the book by a frontal assault or by temporarily disabling her with the Hyuuga's specialized Taijutsu techniques. She had a moment where she considered using her Shadow Clone Technique to perhaps either grab the book itself or act as a distraction so Raika could be the one to nab the book, but she had no doubt that this legendary shinobi would be able to smack the clone hard enough and quickly enough to make it dissipate almost instantly. So there was that plan gone.

When Kazui moves, Raika immediately leaps back, not bothering to wait and see what exactly the attack is, just knowing that the Uchiha is going to try and move towards her. After all, Kazui had really only physically attacked directly so far, and Raika had no reason to believe that the kunoichi was going to change her method of attack. Still, the speed of such a strike surprised her a bit, and she only manages to avoid being struck directly by dropping back, doing a somersault to bring herself below the attack and try to get underneath Kazui as well, so that when she gets her feet back under her, she quickly stands up. Of course, Raika isn't very small, even when she's rolled up as tight as she can get, so she's not sure if she'll knock Kazui down, roll completely between her legs, or end up standing with Kazui piggyback on her shoulders. Regardless of the case, she'd take the opportunity to reach for the back pouch to try and grab hold of the novel that she's been keeping track of entirely with her Byakugan. Though with how quickly the legendary shinobi's hands had moved, it wasn't impossible for her to have moved the book from the pouch to a different one.

Raika was swift and quick on her feet, especially for someone of such stature. However, it seemed as if the Hyūga’s mind was just as trained as the body, as the jonin sensed a calmness that most others didn’t have when faced with the Uchiha. The genin quickly leapt back creating a padding of distance between them though only momentarily, allowing her to narrowly escape Kazui’s assault.

On the outer, the jonin was laser focused, however her inner self couldn’t help but feel joy. She wasn’t sure if it was the thrill of battle, or due to finally battling a Hyuga but her blood pumped fiercely as her strike missed by only a small margin and the smaller kunoichi found herself seated across Raika’s shoulders. "Hmph” She chuckled through smirking lips.

Kazui knew she was vulnerable, and more importantly that her objective was exposed for the opposition to seize. She was a shinobi at the end of the day, an ex- ANBU operative at that - so it was a no brainer that she’d prioritize the pouch on her back before all else. Raika’s vision was sharp, but Kazui’s hands were quick. A single hand raced into the pouch retrieving a hardcover novel just as she’d attempt to leap from Raika’s shoulders.

The pouch would surely be snatched from the woman’s waist, and Raika technically achieved her goal. Falling to the dirt, Kazui quickly tumbled into a more heroic pose before standing to her full height. And with a flick of her hand, the ravenette stood across from the Hyuga - reading the very book she’d snatched from the pouch.

However, if Raika paid close enough attention she’d notice that something was off. Particularly about the book held in the woman’s grasp. Kazui noticed the same just as she began to read through the contents of the page. A confused expression steadily growing over the ravenette’s features.

As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

Of course, Raika feels a bit embarrassed at first when she finds herself handling Kazui in the form of a piggyback ride, but the more experienced shinobi grabs a book from within the pouch before leaping off of her; she can see these actions through the Byakugan eyes, and she feels a bit defeated and more than a little put-down by the quick thinking of the famous, or perhaps infamous, Jounin. However, she soon realizes that the book she grabbed was, in fact... the wrong one. She grabbed some other hardcover book, and now leapt from her shoulders in order to reach a distance away from the Genin, leaving behind the weapon pouch that held the actual aim of this exercise, and she feels a redoubling of pride that she'd been able to somewhat outsmart the Uchiha. She raises an eyebrow directly at Kazui while Raika is still holding the pouch that had been above the more experienced ninja's hip, with Kazui's confused frown showing that she'd not yet recognized the situation.

"Looking for this?~"

Raika herself reaches inside the weapon pouch and draws out the actual hardcover book that Kazui had been holding at the beginning of the mock-sparring, her expert fingers twirling the closed book in a circle around the spine, always holding it between two fingers so as to not clumsily drop it and make herself look like the bigger fool. She wonders for a moment at the seemingly simple other tools inside the bag, but she decides not to pry too much, as she'd already done quite a lot of prying with her Byakugan eyes already. She'd just likely expected a few more tools than these; they looked to be the kind of equipment that most Genin would have kept on their person, which was a bit surprising for her.
