[attr="class","dibody2"] His quarters were rather modest. A far cry of what other councilors had to live in, but it was he needed. A living room, a small kitchen, his bed and bathroom, enough to have a place to rest, enough to come home and reflect on what had happened that day. He had always been used to that, to quarters that were minimalist and spartan from his early days. In fact, save for the embrace of his late wife, he had never felt at peace in a house that had been in his view, far too large for two people. Not a waste of space, but simply not efficient. But now as the moments in which he would return to home from work seemed more common, Hayato had found himself staring at little else but undecorated walls, plants that broke the monotony of monochrome and little else. Few commendations, fewer pictures. Nothing in the way to remember family members, teammates. He could not remember their faces, even as hard as he tried. He could somethings remember the hands of his father, an embrace that had to be from his mother, but such memories faded as quick as they came and the man would feel more confounded as before. In truth, Hayato didn't know how to fell, or if he was whole enough to be able to feel. He had, simply decided to walk outside. Being pelted by the wind that struck the mountains, taking a walk through the same steps that he had travelled many times in as long as he had lived. The sight of the mountains was the only thing that took his attention away from such feelings. "So serene..." He breathed, a haze of white escape his mouth as he spoke. Hands inside the pockets of his coat. "Such a magnificent sight." He admitted to himself. A smile cracking his stern features as he got lost in the view.
