Reika is 5'2 inches and has a petite girl-like figure to her. She often complains about her bust size and wants a bigger chest but knows that she has other redeeming qualities. She especially takes pride in her wavey white hair and azure blue eyes. She has a single cowlick at the top of her head that seems magical. Not that it is, it's just that no matter what she does to it, it won't go away. Reika has clear skin due to her upkeep of it and meticulous need to appear perfect for everyone. Other than that she is a normal teenage girl.
Reika's loves pretty and frilly clothes. As a small child, she often was just given simple shirts and small clothes to wear. Growing up with a brutish man meant that her appearance was always overlooked. Including her hygienic needs. Ever since she was adopted a whole new world of glamour opened up to her. She learned what makeup was, how many different types of clothes were out there, and what combinations they could be put into. One of her hobbies is being a clothes designer.
Currently, Reika's main outfit is a frilled raiment-styled outfit in blue. It has a long-sleeved outer jacket with a bow that keeps it pinned together at the center between her collarbones. The jacket also has frilled sleeves and a flowing train that extends about calf level to her. Underneath is a lighter blue vest and silk shirt that complete the layered look. Her pants are standard but embroidered with gems around the thigh level. She designed her outfit herself.
A huge piece of the ensemble is the top hat. It is something she prides herself in. She spent weeks making it and will wear it everywhere. Its also in blue and has a ribbon fastened to the side of it. The top of the hat itself is in a crown appearance with teardrop jewels inlaid at even intervals around it.
Other than her main outfit, Reika can be seen wearing long white dresses without any fancy layers when she is feeling relaxed. This is often when she is at home or going to sleep for the night.

Reika is like most people with less-than-average circumstances. She feels as if she exists to solely live for others. Due to her mother dying at childbirth with her and her father leaving her at a very young age, Reika has developed a sense of needing to belong. She can't stand not being liked or not appearing perfect. Her whole life has been about what others think about her and it destroyed her self-worth and respect. She will let others bully her at the expense of feeling included within the friend group which is often the case. She has little to no true friends. Even those she grew up with eventually grew apart from her. Reika's love life isn't any better. She is apologetic and peace-minded at all times. especially during arguments.
The other side of Reika, whom she refers to as Rei is when she's happy. This isn't like another personality or anything, it's just a self-titled designation for when she has a sudden realization that she is happy for once and not a sad mess in her room. Rei is productive and loves to dabble in her hobbies. This includes playing the violin, drawing, going on walks outside, and singing. She rides this high as long as she can because, by nature, Reika isn't a happy person. Still, as time goes on the times she faced as a child start to seem so distant and fleeting. Her found family is who she treasures now and it is what keeps her motivated.
Lastly, Reika is dramatic. She lives to be the center of attention and her verbiage and mannerisms are very exaggerated. She often sings an answer when talking or uses colorful words to express her emotions at that moment. She is loud and in charge. THIS is her front. This is how she gets through her days. Without her ability to be fake and keep up the appearance of someone who is put together, she would crumble. HISTORY tw child abuse [1004 - 1010]
The lands that Amegakure resides in are not what most would consider safe or desirable. The people of rain are battle-hardened and persevering. This shows in its people and their untrusting natures. The Susano clan is one that has endured within Amegakure for a long time. Within the confines of the clan's people are two who don't stand out named Rei and Kabuto. Rei and Kabuto were ex-ninja who fell in love and retired at the proper age. They weren't particularly strong but were known to have a higher amount of chakra than normal.
During the last time of peace, the loving couple decided that it was time to settle down and have a child of their own. Rei had a frail constitution and her body could not handle the monumental challenge of childbirth. Sadly, on Reika's birthdate, her mother Rei passed on due to complications. This left her growing up with just her father Kabuto. Kabuto was a stern man and during Reika's upbringing blamed his child for the death of the light of his life.
Reika's name was decided prior to her birth by her mother. The name is a combination of her parents. Written as 麗花, it also means Beautiful, Lovely, Flower and Petal. Her mom wanted her to be the green, the sun and the beauty in her life. It never happened. Reika was too young to understand her father's words but when she was told what her name meant she felt happy about it. That is until her father's cold words destroyed her. "There was no beauty in you being born. I lost my life that day." Reika grew up thinking that her just being alive was a mistake. If she wasn't then maybe her dad wouldn't be sad. Reality cast a dark shadow of Reika's life.
[1011 - 1014]
Things weren't always bad though. She had a talent for music, song, and dance. She loved to act and her imagination would always run wild. The young child held plays for her and her clanmates during their playtimes and became a beloved friend during their time together. Even as she grew up she remained close with a few of them. Friends like Satoshi and Miharu are often still around to hang out with her even at her current place in life. Her father did not like Reika having fun though. He had a strict curfew for her. Reika was always late just from losing track of time. She got home one night and was an hour late past her curfew. When she arrived home, the lights were, off and in the dark her father lay with his eyes open in his rocking chair. His eyes were dark and intense, he smelled of booze. This is when it happened. He struck Reika many times. Her please and cries for help did not save the child however. She was hurt, bloodied and bruised and his cruel words bit into her "You look too much like your mother. HOW DARE YOU HAVE HER FACE WHEN SHE IS DEAD!? IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN YOU!"
Reika wanted to flee. She wanted to run but when she tried to rise she couldn't. Everything hurt. Her body was at its limits but even worse, her heart hurt. Why must she endure this? She didn't ask to be born. She was still just a kid. All the young girl could do is sleep in a heap in a puddle of her own tears and fluids for that night. When she woke up she was in her bed. She was cleaned and her wounds were patched up. Reika got out of bed and headed into the living room to find that it was empty. Usually, her father would be awake and food would be ready but there was nothing. A note on the kitchen table read:
"Do this on your own. I can't stand to look at your face."
Panic overcame her. She was only 7? What was she to do? Reika rushed outside and called for her dad. She screamed and cried, after looking for what felt like hours for him she collapsed onto her knees. Her white hair was filthy and her clothes were torn around the ankles. She didn't even have shoes on. When all felt lost she heard a voice. It was a feminine voice. Reika looked up with her teary eyes and snot-covered face to see a beautiful woman. She was tan and had pink hair. Her buxom body was the first thing anyone would notice about her besides her height. The woman spoke: "Are you alone? Where are your parents child?"
The question confused her at first. Parents? How could these people who abandoned her be called her parents? She had no mom or dad. She wished they would just disappear. Reika just shook her head. She didn't have the energy to speak any longer. The tan woman reached down and picked Reika up. Nuzzled against her bosom, all the small child could do was weep.
That woman was named Nanaya and was a Jounin of the village. Although Reika knew that her parents and most other noteable faces around her were ninjas. She never really thought of them as such. That was different for Nanaya. She looked strong and later in life that was confirmed. Reika was soon adopted by Nanaya and put through the ninja academy. Nanaya knew of her adopted daughter's abilities and introduced her to one of her clan mates who taught her the skills needed. Time flew by during this period. Reika was happy, she was no longer hit or expected to obey some strict curfew. She was respected and loved by Nanaya.
[1014 - Present]
Reika graduated from the Ninja Academy at age 13. She wasn't top of her class or even noticed in this time by many other than the few she group up with and a handful of new faces that she met along the way. During this time she focused on learning the basic ninjutsu required of her and then placing a hard focus on her other techniques. During the weekdays she would practice with Nanaya and learn Suiton ninjutsu with her. During the weekends she spent time with some of her extended family to understand the changes that were happening to her body. She noticed that she was able to create paper and make them move. It was interesting to her.
The training went on like this for a few years. Occasionally, she would go on excursions with Nanaya to learn how to use a bow to hunt. This was Reika's favorite time because she found out that she had a hidden talent for using the weapon. She decided that it would become part of her main kit when going into combat.
Her shinobi obligations have met with some challenges. Reika didn't often go on missions because she found them boring. This presented an issue with Nanaya as well as some of the shinobi elders as it was the expectation of a ninja to obey their leaders. Eventually, she was talked into it and kept up with her mission quota.
Now she looks for a team to make these missions easier to take on.
FIGHTING STYLE Reika's fighting style consists of kiting her foes and leaving traps in their pursuit with exploding tags. She employs long ranged attacks with her bow from both well hidden areas and the sky. Due to her kekei-genkai, she is able to create structures that are seemingly real to move the terrain around to her advantage. Other than her paper and bowmanship skills she also has a strength in the Suiton release. She enjoys hand to hand combat while utilizing water styled taijutsu techniques.

SPECIAL ABILITIES
Shikigami no Mai
Developed years ago by the Susanō Clan, the Shikigami no Mai is the name of their special Paper and Origami based Ninjutsu. By using their chakra, the user is able to convert their body into sheets of paper, and even crate sheets of paper by expending more chakra. While in this form they can use their chakra to move and reshape their paper, altering it with chakra through the use of their Ninjutsu. Another added benefit to this form is that it allows the user to heal from wounds dealt to their physical body by converting themselves to paper and reconstructing their body like it was before they had gotten the wound, although they must have chakra to perform this. Another feat their Paper Form allows them is the ability to levitate freely at the pace of a slow walk. Of course this can be greatly amplified if the Clan member forms wings from paper to assist in flight. Though the paper is not affected when wet, on the contrary soaking the paper lets the user resist Katon techniques, oil will make their paper Ninjutsu nigh impossible to use, causing the sheets to stick together and resist manipulation.
Enhanced Chakra Reserves
The opposite side of the coin as chakra control, generally a shinobi is born with enhanced chakra reserves through their genetics (with clans being the most notable case of this.) With enhanced chakra reserves, a shinobi is capable of utilizing more jutsu over a short amount of time without tiring out, as well as being able to use stronger jutsu more often before tiring out.
Bijuu Hosts and Sages must have this ability in order to host a Bijuu or attain Sage Mode. It is also to be noted that no shinobi can have enhanced chakra reserves and enhanced chakra control.
