Then the two perform a synchronized sequence of hand seals only known to each other; using each of their hands to perform one half of the technique. Once complete a small surge of chakra will tingle the two users palms, confirming they know each other. If the users aren't familiar with each other or a hand-seal is done incorrectly, that tingle won't happen.  This can be especially useful for clandestine and covert meetings where participants are disguised, or when people are unsure they're allied.
