[Jun Etsuko]

After having the luxury of working with a rare specimen of the Netsu clan, Etsuko had gone to the Jounin Hanchou. Her present lack of a team being the emphasis of her woes, before sneakily suggesting she be moved to the team which held Midori. It wasn't all that sneaky to the head jounin though, as suggestion came with shifty eyes and an unwavering cheeky grin. She thankfully though wasn't pressed on her intentions, nor would she be denied the proposal. She'd after all more or less done well with the genin assigned to her thus far, she'd even worked previously with an Oborozuki, so there was at least that common ground.

Her team being assigned a new Sensei, they'd be both informed of the Jinchuuriki taking on their team. As well as get told they'd be meeting the jounin at the villages prison. It was likely something that'd be perceived as odd, but to the jounin it was a normality. The training grounds were often occupied or signed out, a first meeting was rarely considered unsafe to happen outside of the village. However the prison had a sort of recreation hall for those incarcerated that'd proven themselves not too dangerous. It was also a good place for prison guards to get a bit of enjoyment out of pinning prisoners almost against each other, but it also was rarely in use as most prisoners stayed to their cells.

Etsuko had been raised under the belief she was created by the village as a weapon, her purpose lied as being a sort of pseudo weapon. Due to that she'd been raised in the safest containment, which would of been the prisons underbelly. She presently due to her poor socialization still lived within the free confines of the prison to, her own personal cell and all. A fact which meant it was likely important for them to find her that she reveal this location and the manner to reach her. Waiting at the prisons entrance Etsuko stood with a straight back and good posture. Her eyes widen open with suspense waiting for genin to arrive.

[Netsu Midori]

This was certainly new to Midori, at least. People rarely seemed to take much interest in her, at least within her own clan, with the exception of her first sensei in the art of Kesshoton Meditation. Her parents had both pretended she didn't have the ability to use Plasma Release for the longest time, and when she had definitely shown the ability to use the clan's kekkei tota, they were woefully unprepared to start her on training for the use of armor. With the celebration in Takigakure happening at about the same time that she had graduated from the Academy, she always felt she'd be overlooked, not just by her family but by everyone else, too. That no longer seemed to be the case: Hotarubi had taken some interest in her as a peer, and now Etsuko had taken an even greater interest in her, even specifically requesting to be made the Jounin sensei of the two-woman team with Yuri and herself.

Then again, it could also be due to an interest in Yuri. Midori wasn't so full of herself that she thought the Jinchuuriki had taken a particular interest in her, although she certainly remembers the way Jun had called the Plasma Release technique "cool" at the display of that particular elemental release, looking like a teenager being shown a brand new toy. Now, though, they were being told to meet their sensei in prison, of all places. At least it was in the rec room of the prison and not in a cell, though she had no idea how close she was to the truth with that flippant thought. While surprised at the location they were to meet at, Midori was the first to arrive at the entrance, looking a bit nonplussed at the idea of spending too long in such a facility, especially for training. Her catsuit with its black and green harlequin checkered pattern really did put a lot of emphasis on the neon green color of her eyes, while the black matched her hair color and the lipstick on only her upper lip. The contrast against her pale skin was certainly eye-catching, as were the weighted rings wrapped around each of her wrists and her ankles. The Hung Gar rings were pretty typical gear for her training, as was the weapon pouch at her waist. The Takigakure headband loosely tied around her neck bounces just a bit with each step as she approaches Jun, who looks like she's some kind of military commander.

"You know, I totally thought I'd be seeing the inside of this place in a completely different context."

[Oborozuki Yuri]

They'd only been a lone pair of genin for a little bit before they were being told a new jounin would be assigned to them - Yuri stands first in the Waterfall administration tower before the informant and tilts her head at the idea. Not at all opposed to it, but wondering who this jounin might be asking to man the squad. Yuri discovers it is a woman, Etsuko, but nothing more. Apparently Midori has some prior knowledge pertaining to the jounin, but Yuri was lacking in context.

Regardless, even more strange was the call together in the prison.

The youngest genin approaches last with a trail of smoke following her, wearing nothing more than her blue school-style sweater and tight black shorts despite the dusting of snow they'd gotten the night before. She does not feel its chill. At her side, Yuri drags her trusty bat, but swings it upward to rest on her shoulder as she comes to the prison's entrance shortly after Midori.

Coming to stand before the two, desperately short and young, Yuri feels a little out of place. She snuffs her cigarette on her tongue and pockets the butt. Her expression is blank, and her voice is flat, but her chest squeezes just a bit with an inferior feeling. The inadequacy surely goes unnoticed beyond a quirk of an eyebrow and a twitch of an ear - she sucks at her teeth and turns her head away, hanging her opposite wrist over the brunt of the bat, balancing it over the back of her neck. "Hey." Her hands hang from either side, and she's unable to make eye contact - but she plays it cool, casts her gaze sheepishly over the prison. "Soooo... are we fighting prisoners or somethin'...?"

Her heart palpitates at the idea. She could barely handle Midori in a spar, how might she fair against a gaggle of hardened convicts? Even the kindest of prisoners could fold Yuri into a mold of cheese.

[Jun Etsuko]

Midori would continue to display those good traits a sensei would value. Early birds and all. Yuri luckily wouldn't be far behind their teammate, thus the present three person squad would have their first meeting. Certainly they'd have a fourth soon enough, but this was an acceptable number to reveal such information. "Good to see you again Midori, I'll pretend I didn't hear that." Etsuko would state with a slight anxious laugh, as she would attempt breeze off the thought as preposterous. Granted she still didn't know the genin that well.

"Oborozuki Yuri, it's nice to meet you, I'm Jun Etsuko the villages jinchuuriki host. I've trained an Oborozuki before, so hopefully I'll be able to help you with your smoke." Etsuko would do her best to give a very quick and full introduction of herself to the other genin of her team. Quickly adding with another light laugh, a little less anxious as towards Midori claim of possibly being caught for a crime of sorts. "We're not here to fight anyone." Etsuko would gesture to an individual at a desk in the entrance room.

"Please both of you sign in, as the villages weapon, I'm assigned a living quarters here. So I'd like to show you my quarters and then we'll be able to use the recreational hall for some training. It'll be a bit freeform, but I want to know you guys know how to reach me when needed." Etsuko would explain waiting for the two to sign-in at the front. There'd be a records book which seemed to indicate anytime a person entered or exited the prison for visitation or any other purpose. The book having three columns, purpose, date and signature. Two slots had been filled out with today's date, as well as the purpose Etsuko Team Lesson.

[Netsu Midori]

Midori shrugs when Etsuko seems to take her statement as a joke, her face only showing the barest sign of a smirk, which of course makes it even harder to tell if she was serious or only jesting. As Yuri asks if they're there to fight the prisoners, Midori finds herself wondering the same thing, but Etsuko makes it clear that this isn't their purpose for being in the Takigakure prison today. She is taken aback at the revelation that Etsuko actually lives in the prison as the village's most dangerous weapon, and to such a degree that she actually blinks in response to this new information. Then she simply shrugs as she's instructed to sign in so they can get started on their team-based training. She moves closer to the table, but avoids bending down to sign; she doesn't need any of the guards giving stares if she were to bend over in the mostly form-fitting catsuit.

It's a bit awkward to sign one's name on a lowered table without bending down, but it's legible at least, and someone could be certain that she was the one that signed it and still be able to read her name. After signing in, she moves aside to let Yuri sign her name as well, wondering mentally to herself a little more at whether or not Etsuko chooses to live in the prison or has been forced to take up residence here, in this shrunken world of steel and stone, in exchange for the great power of herself becoming the home of one of the most powerful beasts in their known world. She decides that Etsuko's own power is a good enough reason not to insult her again and ask her outright if that was the case, so she decides to forget about that wandering thought; she'd never ask, so it'd never be known to her.

[Oborozuki Yuri]

Yuri blinks thoughtfully when Etsuko introduces herself, surprised both by the casual air with which she speaks of being a jinchuuriki host and that she'd been around another Oborozuki. Yuri doesn't even run into other Oborozuki. She manages a smile and a nod, and then again when it's confirmed that they would not be fighting other prisoners. A relief. Yuri sighs.

As someone adopted into a compound, the idea of living within a prison does not surprise her. Mirror values, similar structures. Her own room there beyond the angry crashing of the ocean often feels like a cell, dark and murky and holding her back. Maybe Etsuko would let her stay here, too.

Obediently, Yuri follows along Midori and signs her name quickly. As they move about, Yuri does stick close to her teammate, feeling the most comfortable with her and a little lost without. She's not quite sure what to think about Etsuko yet, but her down to earth and modest energy lull those worries just a little bit. She seems easy to work with, if nothing else - and Yuri is determined to be just that. Beneath her blasé expression, the teen is worrying about how to make a good impression on her new sensei.
