Risi was busy with training again, swinging about his scythe the way that his Raikage had shown him. Thanks to Kizumi, he was improving by leaps and bounds, and he was even getting a lot of encouragement from his cocksure swain to keep training in order to become better with his weapon of choice. The metal blade flashes in the sunlight as it twirls from the ministrations of his delicate-looking hands along the haft of the weapon, causing it to spin, stop, and swing, all with deft movements. The true strength of the weapon was really that the long haft could allow someone even as dainty as Risi to produce intense power in a swing of the scythe, thought it took a lot of practice to be able to control it well enough to make the attack connect as he wanted it to.
Risi manages to stick the sharp point of the scythe deep into the wooden training dummy, so deep that it becomes lodged into the body, and the Genin sighs softly as he releases his grip on the haft in order to fix his long, silky black hair. He lifts the black top hat, where the kumogakure headband is acting instead like a hatband for him, in order to run one white fingerless gloved hand through the luxuriant locks to bring the hair back off of his feminine-looking face, the dark color in sharp contrast to his very fair skin. Some people often mistake Risi for a woman, and it wasn't hard to see why; he even painted his lips red like women often did. His clothing also didn't help, with the waistcoat and black mantle looking quite a lot like feminine clothing even if he also wore a frilled cravat under the coat. His black skirt somewhat cements the feminine look, since men did not commonly wear such revealing clothing, especially as it's usually undone all the way up to his hip for ease of movement. Once he replaces that black top hat back on his head, he taps his black combat boots on the ground before gripping the handle of his scythe with both hands in order to carefully pry it from where it's found purchase.
It takes a bit of work, but he finally gets it free, then takes a look around; with the upcoming Chuunin Exams, Kumogakure is actually a bit less populated than normal, particularly in the training grounds, but he can see at least a few ninja around, still working on their own training, and the pretty boy considers training with a few of them. Yamatsu probably won't be too jealous, even if he picks one of the other men to train with. The younger sage apprentice knows that he's Risi's number one top pick for training partner, but he's busy readying himself for the Exams, and Risi doesn't really want to distract him too badly. The thought of the tan-skinned young man makes his pale cheeks redden just a bit, a rare thing for Risi, but he mentally chides himself before deciding to walk up to one of the other shinobi to ask them to train with him. In this case, he picks the nearest one: someone from the Murahira clan, whom he remembers the Inshi had told him were one of the wealthiest in Kumogakure, and therefore one of the Kyuumu clan's rivals, but also one of the oldest clans to ally themselves with the village.
"Hey there!~ I need some practice against an actual person... I warn you, I'm not very good, so I'm probably not really likely to be a threat, I swear.~"
