One overlooked task of being a team leader was the need to keep an eye out for any upcoming students looking to graduate. Many classes hold an exceptional amount of potential, and a select few often have the future leaders sitting amongst them. Kazui was well aware of this and often took some of her free time to scout for these certain individuals. "Hmm.” The ravenette hummed as she found herself walking down the halls of the academy. Coming to a sudden stop, the woman turned to face the window. Taking a closer look revealed that there was a class outside perhaps taking part in a sparring lesson.

Without much hesitation Kazui quickly made her way down the corridors, turning the corner before taking the nearest exit out to the academy training yard. A crowd of genin were grouped together as they all watched alongside their instructor and another jonin.

Stepping closer to the action, she began to watch closely as two students battled it out on display. Arms folded across her chest as she looked on. One of the participants seemed familiar, however Kazui didn’t want to simply assume. "Hm. Who’s the girl?” She asked the instructor beside her. "That would be..Nara Shun.” The man explained. "Her opponent, well, that's Sarutobi Masashi.” He added on.

Hearing this caused a smile to curl over the woman’s features. "Hmm..interesting.” Kazui voiced as she turned back towards the action. As the Instructor waved the flag to signal the end of the fight, Kazui attempted to place herself in Shun’s focus, giving a little wave and a big warm smile.

"Shun. Masashi. Fantastic display of might and determination. Alright class that is it for the week. As you all know I’ll still be in my classroom if any of you need any help. Aside from that, I hope you all enjoy your weekend!” The man announced as he began to wave off the group of students.

This ability allows the user to find, sense, and track individuals through their chakra over vast range that exceeds ten kilometers. This is done by focusing and opening the mind's eye, though due to the low chakra cost many users keep it active often. The ability also extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including the user, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, the user can perceive its location and movement with great detail.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

Spar time! The time some students dreaded but others enjoyed. There was rarely anyone in between. Shun had grown quite fond of sparring over the few years at the academy. It was like a game of tag but tagging meant knocking the opponent down and making them yield. There was some adrenaline involved but no real threat to their lives so it was easy to view the practice as a game. The quickest and strongest would usually win - sometimes the quickest thinking would win.

Shun had grown a little so she was now standing at around five feet and five inches and had filled out from her skinny frame to a good 55 kilograms. It was still less than her opponent so she figured she would have to be faster and try to keep distance from Masashi. The boy was taller and bigger, and stronger than her but Shun was fast and had more stamina.

When the two started, she was the first to do a couple hand seals and a few clones appeared around her. Three girls now ran towards her opponent and the boy braced himself for some blows. Masashi couldn’t tell the clones apart at first so he grabbed the first clone to no awail and almost lost his footing but then glanced down at the incoming girl feet. He figured out Shun was coming with the second attack and caught her forarm midair as she had planned to deliver a blow to the side of his face with the end of a wooden kunai in hand. Masashi did nothing about the second clone who’s attack at ramming into his chest went straight through him. It appeared he had seen that only one Shun had a shadow.

Now with her forarm being held by her opponent, Shun knew she had no time to think and grabbed ahold of Masashi’s arm with her other hand, kicked off the ground and attempted to land a kick onto his height by spinning her body around. He was bigger than her and heavier so she used his weight to help lift herself.

The boy threw her back and started forming some seals of his own and soon took a deep breath only to release a strong gust of wind with shuriken thrown into it. The enhanced speed of the projectiles hit Shun’s body in three places and the wind lifted her body. It wasn’t that often that you could see a student using elemental jutsu - Sarutobi Masashi must have been an overachiever.

Suddenly, the seemingly injured body of the young Nara turned to smoke and in the place of it was a large toy otter with a silly expression on its face and the words ‘missed me’ on its stomach. The unusual substitute caught the boy off guard and he didn’t notice that Shun had used Shunshin no Jutsu to reappear above him. She kept in his shadow so, while looking around to expect her to come, he didn’t see her attacking from above.

It had been recently that Shun met Hyuuga Raika for the first time but they had an interesting training session on how to put her whole body into hits. While smaller than her opponent, Shun had the built up speed and gravity on her side when she came down with a kick to the top of Masashis head hard. The boy had tried to block but was too late. Like a guilotene, the girl’s leg dropped on him taking the boy to the ground. The reason she attacked him from above before was, as well, to gain more force. There was little chance of winning against someone who knew more jutsu than her and was stronger so she figured she needed some surprise on her side. Also, the girl had entered a phase where she enjoyed showing off.

The fight ended and Shun helped Masashi get up. ”Sorry, Masashi. You ok?” she spoke to the boy while helping dust him off. ”Man, how embarrassing…” the Sarutobi boy groaned and sighed deeply ”I felt like I was going to win, too.” he said honestly. The girl, in turn chuckled and swayed a bit before responding: ”There’s no way I would win in a longer match because of your fuuton so you would have won. I got lucky… maybe… hahah.” there was some suspence in her tone at the end and the two teens laughed it off.

While still talking to Masashi, Shun saw a familiar form behind him and Kazui. The young Nara was very fond of the older Kunoichi. They had met a long time ago when Shun tumbled down a hill trying to save a dumpling from falling in the canal and, as odd as the beginning was, they became friends. Kazui had met Shun’s family aswell.

”Kazui-nee!” Shun exclaimed and bolted towards the Uchiha going for a tackle hug.

"Shun-chan!!” She voiced excitedly standing in place. Embracing the girl's dash towards her, Kazui held her arms out and caught the nara within her grasp, or so she thought. The girl’s momentum would carry over however, causing the two kunoichi to go toppling over. ‘oof.’ It had been quite a while since the two had last spoken let alone seen each other. However, that was partly due to Kazui’s own recklessness. If she hadn’t left so abruptly she could’ve at least said goodbye to shun. Perhaps even the girl could have talked her out of it.

"Oh my, you’ve grown so much!” The ravenette spoke in a muffled breath from underneath the Nara student. Despite now being the smaller of the two, Kazui was comfortable where she was. It was always good to see a good friend, and besides the two had some catching up to do. For the time being the Uchiha would attempt to pull herself back up to her feet while also assisting Shun.

"That was quite the display as well, surely you are just waiting for graduation to come around? Yes?” The woman asked. Shun was far ahead of the expectations that were set by the academy.

The young Nara let out a laugh as the both fell over and still gave Kazui a squeeze. It did feel like now the two girls were almost of equal size - last time Shun had seen her, Kazui was still taller. Shun would roll over and get up and dust herself off before standing straight in front of her friend. It was true, Shun had now grown to be just a little taller than Kazui. Only an inch, though.

”Oh yeah, I guess I have grown, haha!” she said, now noticing the difference. ”It’s hard to notice when it’s happening, I guess.” Teenagers seemed to stretch taller every day and Shun was no exception. She was filling out in shape, too, which made her happy. The heavier she was, the more force she would have behind her hits. Growing up, Shun had always been very skinny but it looked like puberty was working in her favour.

”Both of my parents are taller so maybe I’ll grow even more…” Shun trailed off and tried to imagine what it might look like. Her mother was about three or four inches taller and her dad was a bit over six feet tall… how tall would she get? Her mom’s height? In the middle? Maybe even her dad’s height? That would be impressive.

”Hmm?” Shun came back to reality with the next question about her waiting to graduate. ”Yeah!” she started with a glint in her eye, ”It was pretty cool, right? I’m at the top of my class now, you know. Not to brag but -” she clearly intended to brag, it was in her tone, ”check this out!”

The girl firmed a single hand seal and flashed away from sight only to reappear with her feet attached to the bottom of a really high tree nearby. It was a combination of her enhanced speed, Shunshin no Jutsu and tree walking. ”Pretty cool for a student, right?!” Shun called out loudly from the greater distance and would soon reappear in front of Kazui with a flash. She had, however, used up all of her Shunshin right there just to show off… hopefully, she wouldn’t need any for the rest of the day.

”I think my graduation exam is in a week or so. I’m now working really hard to learn more about the clan traditions while there’s free time. The old man says life gets busier when we start doing missions so now I train with him and Shikajin a lot. Oh, and there’s a lot of deer babysitting involved in learning about Nara culture… they’re cute but I think they just see me as a food source.” Shun laughed off the end of that sentence.

”So, what brings you to the academy? Scouting for new talent?” Shun flipped her hair back in an obvious way as she said the last sentence and her tone made it obvious she was talking about herself in a joking manner. It looked like she had a healthy ego - if not a bit on the bigger side. It wasn’t rare for Nara clansmen and clanswomen to excel at learning so they usually found schoolwork easy. That combined with some physical talent was enough to give a teenager a confidence boost or even the idea of being invincible.

DESCRIPTION:
By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, compounding in exertion and difficulty each time. with any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion. Kazui laughed alongside Shun as she pushed herself back up onto her feet. Brushing the debris from her backside and running her fingers through her hair. There was something about the young Nara that brought joy to even the roughest days. Years ago the two had first met and there was no looking back ever since. As her eyes fell upon the girl however she’d notice her new figure up close. Puberty was taking her through changes and it seemed as if she were pumped about her growth.

"I’m sure this is only the start.” The young woman voiced with a hint of laughter. "You could possibly be taller than them.” She stated with a nod. It happened quite often. Regardless, she’d be taller than Kazui that was for sure.

Hearing that Shun was at the top of her class wasn’t a surprise to the Uchiha, though that Satutobi boy was advanced as well. It made the woman wonder, are the younger generations getting stronger and stronger? That just may be the case. Nevertheless, Kazui watched her closely. From a shunshin to tree walking, the ravenette couldn’t help but smile as she looked towards the girl. "Hmm. That is quite impressive.” The young woman spoke with a slight chuckle.

Listening to her speak further on her exams and her current studies, Kazui simply gave a nod. "Hai, I’m sure that you’ll pass with flying colors. And yes it is best to stay up to date with clan based lessons, enjoy it while there is still time to spare.” Because the jump from student to genin was often a big one so time wasn’t as abundant as one may grow used to.

"Hm. Perhaps. That and taking the time to keep up to date with current students. But I must say whatever team you may land on, would be lucky to have you.” Kazui gave a shrug before smiling towards the young teen. "Come, we have some catching up to do.” The woman spoke as she waved from Shun to follow along.

"Like have you made any new friends? Any boyfriends? Girlfriends?” Heartbreaks?” The further she went, the higher her voice went as well. Curiosity was a habit of hers, however this was even more so when it came to the ones close to her.

There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. "Oh, ok, let's go!" the girl agreed but first jogged the other way to pick up a brown shoulder bag of hers before jogging back to Kazui and matching her tempo. It had truly been a while but somehow it felt extremely natural to be near the Uchiha. Maybe it was one of those one-of-a-kind sisterly friendships that Shun had read about in novels.

The two girls would walk out of the training grounds and Shun would take a moment to gather her thoughts. ”I actually have a bunch of people I hang out with at the Academy. You know, I don't really judge people so they like being near me - at least, that's what I've been told.” she explained sincerely. It was true that people flocked to her these days because she couldn't be bothered to stir the teenage pot that was her age group at the academy. There were a few people similar to her and all of them had people befriending them easily.

”I do have a possy of girls now,” she started with a laugh, ”we mostly talk about everything and go out for food - with the occasional training session.” Shun rummaged in her bag for a bit and withdrew two cans of mango lemonade. She offered one to Kazui - if she didn't want it, Shun would just put it back in the bag.

”As for boyfriends… none yet, Kazu-nee. Maybe it's just not my time yet.” she said and mulled over what her idea of a boyfriend was. ”I want someone smart and cool, I think - like Satoshi. Or maybe kinda clumsy but cool like dad or kind and cool like Shikajin… and it would be easy to understand what their heart wants and for them to understand mine and we'd live happily ever after.” the teenager speculated. It appeared she had multiple strong male figures to look up to so she had tied them to her expectations in a boyfriend. A true romantic at heart, Shun was probably more enticed by the idea of love than actually trying to pursue it.

”I have a bunch of friends that are boys though! Most of them are cool! Some are even closer to your age than mine - do you know Uzumaki Kohaku? He trains with Kazuto, too, right? I actually have a training day with him and Kazuto in a little bit. It's still very mysterious.” she chattered and then finally opened her can of lemonade and took a sip.

”Besides, Kazu-nee… boys are confusing. Like, a few days ago this one classmate asked me to eat lunch with him but I had just eaten mine so I said no. He looked super sad and I asked around the classroom if anyone else hadn't eaten yet and wanted to eat with him for company but he refused and left. I think he was sulking. What was I supposed to do - eat twice? I don't have the room!” she complained. ”And a week before that this boy from a parallel class asked if I want to go for ice cream because I'm cool. I thought he was making a joke and it was kind of lame but lame-funny, you know? So I said sure and said we should invite a bunch of us that hang out together should go for ice cream and he got sad because of that, too. How do I keep making people sad by trying to make things better, I don't understand.” The main issue here was that the boys never said exactly what they wanted from Shun and she wasn't in the habit of assuming - especially things that involved her.

Kazui couldn’t help but let out a gentle chuckle after hearing of Shun’s stories. She was glad that the girl had plenty of friends during this time, as it wasn’t exactly the same for herself when she was younger. However it seemed as if Shun shared more similarities with Kazui than she originally thought, especially when it came to these special people that tend to entire their lives. "Hmm. I see.” The woman mentioned as she swayed with every step. "Perhaps it is more complicated than I expected.” She mentioned jokingly with a slight shrug of her shoulders. When it came to Satoshi, and even Shikajin Kazui expected there to be a little crush. She had even been led by Satoshi when she was a genin, the man was admirable.

"Nevertheless, I am glad all is going well and that you’re making your way in this world. I am sure you and your friends will make a great team someday.” The jonin nodded as she gently placed a hand over Shun’s shoulder. "However, maybe eating twice won’t hurt? Or pretending to eat twice.” A giggle parted from her lips. Poor kid. Kazui thought as she could only imagine the boy being a bit let down by the Nara’s refusal. It was clear he at least wanted to spend time with the girl. Shun was still young, so she couldn’t blame her. Hell, even Kazui herself was only just now understanding the feelings she had towards a certain someone and vice versa. She may have not been an expert on the topic but she was surely learning for herself.

"I’m sure one day you will look back and understand, but for now that isn’t of much importance.” Kazui stated gently as she continued forward, leading the two through the gates of the academy and out onto the roads of Konohagakure. Many aspiring shinobi were making their way home, some of their parents accompanied their younger ones on the way back. Others grouped together for plans for the weekend. One boy in particular broke away from his group and flagged down both Kazui and Shun before they made it too far.

"Shun-Chan!!” The emerald haired boy yelled out waving a single arm high in the air to grab their attention. "Don’t forget about the adventure we had all planned for the weekend!” The boy swiped at his nose with a confident yet excited smirk plastered over his face. A hand rested on his hip as he stood confidently. "The whole gang’s gonna be there. You don’t wanna miss it!!” The boy exclaimed with a boisterous laugh.

Kazui couldn’t help but laugh for herself as she continued only shortly - allowing shun the opportunity to respond. Regardless, for the time being Kazui wished to catch up with the girl, so once her attention returned to the raven - Kazui would give a suggestion.

"Why don't we grab some food, find a place at the park, and perhaps catch up over a game of Shogi? Hmm?” She suggested. Kazui had a few stories of her own that she was sure that Shun would be interested in hearing, especially since there was a bit of an aura surrounding the woman’s name.
