It was a quite chilly day out in the land of Akazaya, however the sun still beamed down brightly providing a nice warmth to the area alleviating the cold harsh winds. With the exams beginning in a few days, a few of the genin, and visiting shinobi from various countries had grouped together to train. With wooden katanas in hand the genin took turns dueling, sharpening their kenjutsu skills. It was a king of the hill type of ordeal as far as Kazui could see, however there seemed to be a rather noticeable difference between those from Kirigakure and those from other lands. It caught the ravenette’s attention that was for sure.

As the battling continued the most skilled swordsman would stand. A rather confident swordsman from Kusagakure had currently held the crown of the gauntlet at the moment. A single hand rested on his waist as his sword rested gently across his shoulders, an energetic smile worn as his hand rose and swept through his bright blonde hair.

Kazui saw this as her opportunity to join the game. Leaping into the ring of shinobi, the Uchiha armed herself with a wooden katana and dueled with the Kusagakure shinobi, Hono Mugetsu. Kazui was fast, quick yet graceful with the blade - the chunin was easily outclassed. "Oi Kazui-san..Unfair!” The young chunin said with a joking pout as he rubbed the side of his head. "I’ll get you next time!” The boy said. The woman simply laughed as she swung her blade with two quick swipes. For the time being Kazui held the crown of the gauntlet, however she was only interested in fighting one particular shinobi who happened to be in attendance. However, other participants wanted their shots at Kazui, confidently wishing to fight the famed jonin in a controlled setting. It was near effortless work however, and after 3 battles the woman remained standing.

"Perhaps I should get comfortable… I might be up here all day.” The woman spoke in a lightheartedly fun manner, yet confidently - hoping to draw in more competition.

The ability also extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including the user, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, the user can perceive its location and movement with great detail.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

[Sora Minami]

Sora watched the spectacle before her and smiled. She had been in Akazaya for three days now, enjoying the sights and… other things, but this was the first time the Jounin had seen any of her student’s competition (or any other Shinobi for that matter) doing anything besides wander the streets or head out into the tundra to train. A group of Genin and Chuunin had gathered, ostensibly to participate in a few simple kata and maybe a practice spar or two, but that had quickly evolved into something far more competitive.

Standing in a ring about ten meters in diameter, the young Shinobi had created something of a mock dueling tournament, each one taking their turn to run the gauntlet, sparring against each and every challenger until they were either defeated or won out. And for a time, there had been a real bracket going- none of them were particularly more skilled than the others, though the Genin from Kiri (many of them her former students) proved far more capable on average than their counterparts. It wasn’t until a young, energetic Chuunin from Kusagakure joined the fray that her village’s supremacy over the group was ended; he was tall and quick, with excellent instincts, if a bit predictable for her tastes.

Those traits had been enough for the Hono boy to pummel the competition, winning out against the Genin and Chuunin from other villages with relative ease. She hadn’t joined in, though she had cheered her former student’s on when they had their matches, commiserating with them when they lost. In truth, the Kiri Jounin was about to head out, the storm in her heart still and quiet for once… until she heard the resounding thwack of a wooden blade meeting flesh, hard enough to leave a mark but not enough to be too painful, and glanced towards the area once more.

Kazui… of the Sharingan. Sora thought, her lips pursing into a thin line as she stood up, her sky-blue gaze focusing in on the short, pale child who now stood in the center of the makeshift ring. She hadn’t heard that infamous Kunoichi had come to Akazaya, but seeing her wasn’t so much a surprise as seeing her here. This was an unofficial thing, set up by kids and a few young adults, meant to be more of a fun competition than anything serious… and yet there she stood, nimbly beating down another challenger as if they weren’t even worth her time.

Taking in a long, slow breath, the Kiri Jounin pushed off of the training dummy she had been leaning on, her breath frosting in the chill afternoon air as she pushed her way through the crowd, picking a simple bokken from the hand of one of her former students. It wasn’t quite as light as Samidare, but it would do for what she wanted. Stepping into the makeshift ring with a quiet sigh, Sora allowed herself a moment to look at the Uchiha girl, really look at her before she spoke, the storm in her chest stirring to life as she said, voice as still as deep water, "I wouldn’t be so confident, kid.”

For the better half of the morning, the competition surrounding the gauntlet remained tamed, calm, and organized as it went on. Jonin sensei kept an eye out on things to ensure tempers never boiled over, the chunin helped as well though only acting as support. Kazui was sure none of them wanted to be gathered so closely to their enemy however the genin mostly paid it no mind. Times were as cold and harsh as ever, and with tensions only increasing with each passing day, the desire to jump the gun and cause an incident became more and more of a concern as the days passed. The goal was simple however - last minute training, but with the likes of the Uchiha in the mix every little thing was a competition. Always.

Running the gauntlet was no easy feat, even against chunin and genin. It was tiresome at times, though great exercise nonetheless. The ravenette’s blood pumped quickly, adrenaline raced, and with each opponent that fell to her she’d gain a small sense of joyful pride. Despite being the wielded of a powerful katana such as chidori - the jonin never poured her heart and time into her kenjutsu prowess which was mainly why she joined earlier in the gauntlet. However, it seemed as if she were more skilled than she would typically give herself credit for.

Standing in the ring of shinobi, it seemed as if the genin were locking all their focus onto the fair skinned kunoichi as she caught her breath - preparing for the next contestant. Long strands of coal black hair were pulled into a ponytail that hung down the length of her shoulders. A hand rested on her waist as the other grabbed ahold of the water container resting beside near the edge of the ring. The young woman would take a sip just as her next opponent stepped into the clearing.

Kazui came to a halt where she stood, only to cut a sharp glare into the woman across from her. She was tall, lean, and fit. There was no doubt that Sora was the kunoichi which caused the young Uchiha’s sensory to go off the charts. She was a smart girl before all things else, very smart. Gauging the situation was of no effort to her, and most people with Kazui’s ability would simply choose to stand down. However, there was no fear when it came to the ravenette, even when faced against what felt like a persistent storm contained behind only the thinnest plane of glass. She remained unbothered, though it may have seemed as if Kazui herself had stirred the pot, if only just a bit.

The girl smirked as she lowered herself to a squat, placing her water bottle back onto the cold land beneath her feet. "Hai Haiii, Kiri.” She voiced without turning to face Sora. There wasn’t much for the two to talk about, Kazui lived through action and so..

Standing to her heights, the ravenette’s focus fell solely upon the high level jonin. The cheers and jeers of the surrounding audience simply faded into what Kazui would describe as a silent, yet peaceful oasis.

"If you wish for me to be more humble then .. why not take it into your own hands?” With her bokken at the ready, her voice remained soft, calm, yet void of emotion. If Sora had interacted with any Hunter-nin or ANBU operative in the past, then she would catch the similarities displayed between them and Kazui’s own stoicism. All fun had left the atmosphere, now the girl would need to give her best and even far beyond it.

[Sora Minami]

Kids these days. Sora thought, her lips twitching in a slight frown as Kazui spoke, taking the few minutes allotted between rounds to rehydrate and stretch her limbs. There was little for the pink-haired woman to say to the Uchiha’s retort; she had come to the ring for the express purpose of teaching the raven-haired girl a lesson in humility, and boasting about what was going to happen once the spar started was just childish. So instead she simply waited, bokken held loosely in her right hand, until the Konoha-nin was ready to begin again.

Once she was, the Kiri Kunoichi mirrored her opponent’s readiness, shifting her grip into a two-handed one as she held her bokken low, utilizing the gedan-no-kamae stance, the tip of her sword pointing at her opponent’s ankle. It was a defensive posture, one that appeared wide open to many an amateur practitioner; indeed, there was a murmur of surprise from the gathered crowd as those less versed in the various forms of kenjutsu wondered why she would approach such an obviously skilled opponent with such an open guard. Only the truly skilled amongst the swordsmen there understood what she was doing… and nodded in respect.

Gedan-no-kamae was a defensive stance, more often than not referred to as "the Fool’s Stance” for its use in teaching over-eager students; in the hands of a novice, the stance was almost useless, leaving too much space open and not enough room to defend. But in the hands of a master? It was an almost suffocating stance, luring in the less skilled and overconfident and punishing them for their predictability. Her grip mirrored this attitude, as though he held her bokken with two hands, her left hand was loose, a light grip meant to look right but not hinder her ability to shift into a one-handed stance. This was her first test for Kazui- would the raven-haired Uchiha attack her head on, or would she recognize the trap for what it was and hold back?

"Hai..” Kazui responded to the lady before her. Her gaze lingering over the kunoichi’s form - her stance appeared to be open for an attack, her blade lowered significantly, yet the mist kunoichi was calm. However, the ravenette wasn’t the type to get ahead of herself looking at the woman the jonin could tell she was no slouch. Hmm. Kazui hummed as she pondered on her approach. It didn’t take long however, and before she knew it, the Uchiha found herself falling into a ready stance and with intention the jonin launched forward at great speed.

Barreling down on her target, Kazui’s gentle gaze still watched over the woman’s figure to keep track of her movements - for now her sharingan remained dormant as she closed distance rather quickly. However, Kazui was no fool nor was she a slouch herself with kenjutsu having a place in her heart - the young woman had tricks up her sleeve as well.

She moved quickly but just before reaching her target Kazui pulled back on her approach - coming to a halt right on a dime. She’d make sure to stay as far out of her opponent’s striking range as she could while still attempting to deliver a strike of her own. It was a quick jab and once Kazui retracted back into her original stance, planting both feet on the ground, she’d promptly follow the jab with a quick and precise sweeping slash towards Sora just to keep the woman honest.

Sora watched the young slip of a girl ready herself with a flat, seemingly empty stare, her body loose, every muscle at ease and yet ready to spring into action in an instant. There was a moment where she thought the Uchiha might have actually caught onto her game, the slight hesitation in her actions seeming to indicate she knew something was up (at the very least), but it was only a moment. Kazui launched herself forwards at a near dead sprint, clearing the distance between herself and the pink-haired Jounin quickly, only to stop perhaps a foot out of range, utilizing her inertia to lurch forward on one foot and throw a single, precise thrust at her neck.

Three. Against a lesser opponent, the sudden stop and thrust might have worked; few swordsmen had it in them to be properly fluid, to adapt and flow with the battle instead of reacting to it and allowing their opponent to dictate the course of a fight. Moving in tandem with the girl’s thrust, the Kiri woman surged forwards, bokken coming up as she shifted to a one-handed grip and twisted to her right, blade slapping the Uchiha’s thrust up and out of the way with a flowing block as she closed the distance.

Two. A second attack came at her from her right, a slash likely meant to ward off the very thing she was doing, but with the distance between them shortened by so much, it was a trivial matter for Sora to shift her charge into another flowing block. Her bokken twisted down as she gripped the blade with both hands and met Kazui’s cut with one of her own, a rising right to left diagonal that pushed her opponent’s blade up and out of the way while she stepped slightly to her left. In the next instant, her weapon fell, tracing the very line it had made up back down in a reversal of the cut she had just launched in order to utilize the opening and slam down against the Uhciha’s collarbone with a fierce, but still relatively tame, strike.

One. If it hit, the girl would be in a fair bit of pain, but nothing would be broken… save, perhaps, her pride.

Kazui wasn’t surprised in the slightest that her first strike was parried, as Sora stepped into the Uchiha’s own charge she’d knock the younger woman’s bokken off target, sending the wooden katana upwards. She was in a bad spot and the Uchiha was well aware of that. However, what separated her from most others was her ability to remain cool and collected in battle even when things were looking dire for her, as well as her ability to adapt to most situations. Kazui’s eyes watched the woman closely, she didn’t have much of an option here. "She’s fast.” The teen thought. Blistering would be an understatement, but she was no slow poke either.

The young woman clenched her teeth as she swung her bokken in a sweeping motion to ward off her opponent, yet that proved to be useless against Sora. As if she were watching herself from someone else’s perspective - Kazui was left speechless as her attack was parried once again. "Damn it.” The Uchiha thought to herself. She was capable of seeing the opening in which Sora was most likely going to attack as if there were signs telling her so, it was rather clear. Kenjutsu was no doubt Sora’s bread and butter, but what made Kazui such a formidable opponent?

Focused orbs quickly changed from dark grey to a luminous crimson as Sora’s blow fell upon her. Finding her bearings and planting her pivot foot firmly in the dirt below, the ravenette would regain complete composure and control over her body as she’d rotate out of her current position in a flash. At the drop of a hat the jonin’s body spun just out of harm’s way - Sora’s bokken just barely whiffing past Kazui’s form - leaving a fine slit in the young women’s shirt collar but ultimately missing the mark.

With her current position now shifted slightly behind the mist kunoichi - though back to back with the woman. With her bokken clutched firmly within her hand, Kazui delivered a lightning quick slash without needing to turn to face Sora. To either defend from the older kunoichi’s blistering attacks or as a way of delivering a counter strike to an unexpecting target.

Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. [Sora Minami]

Sora knew the girl would dodge almost from the moment that her strike was thrown out; someone as young as her didn’t reach the rank of Jounin, let alone attain international fame, on sheer luck alone. There had to be talent, talent and the grueling hours of work needed to refine it into something worthwhile, something deadly. So when the Uchiha girl’s eyes flashed scarlet, her Sharingan activating half a heartbeat before the blow landed, she didn’t flinch- instead, the Kiri woman simply followed through, her strike meeting nothing but air as the girl twisted out of the way in a brilliant display of both speed and evasive reflexes, twirling behind her until they were back to back.

Chakra pulsed through her fingers as she pivoted on her right foot, her left hand reaching up and over her back on instinct, utilizing the Touken Yubi technique to form a single, six inch long blade of pure chakra around her index and middle finger. The blade formed just in time to meet Kazui’s slash, her left arm flicking the blow up and away from her neck in another flowing block even as she twisted around and, with a single hand on her bokken, delivered a full speed, arcing cut up towards the raven-haired girl’s exposed left side.

If her blow hit (and she had no reason to think it wouldn’t, given the circumstances), the Uchiha would most certain take some damage; not a broken bone, as her bokken was aimed below the rib cage, but a deep bruise for sure, along with having the wind knocked out of her… along with anything she might have eaten in the last hour or so.

DESCRIPTION: This is a simple technique that does not have any preparation time in the form of handselas and can be used quickly, allowing it to be used as a surprise technique to attack someone or combine with another technique. What the user does is put his index and middle finger together and coat them in chakra, which they form into a short blade like shape. With these 'blade fingers' or more commonly called 'sword fingers' they can attack like they have a short weapon in hand that due to the chakra coating has a strong cutting and piercing ability. Of course this will only work to varying degrees, if the opponent is wearing a strong armor or blocking with a weapon, the user might injure their fingers instead. To keep a stable blade form, the chakra coating can only be up to 15cm long. (6 inches)

The stronger point of this technique is that the user can use this 'sword' they create to act as their weapon, which enables them to use Bukijutsu that require a sword but no chakra usage. That bukijutsu's effectiveness is one tier lower and as such weaker and halved in range if above a C-Rank. This Jutsu is famous for being a popular way swordsmen gauge each other's strength, but also a way to humiliate someone who's weaker than oneself, by allowing the user to not need to draw their sword. Assassins also use this as s silent killing method sometimes.

DESCRIPTION: Less a set technique and more a way of utilizing one’s weapon to the fullest, Ryuurei Fusagu is designed around one core concept- the art of "flowing,” like water, around an attack in order to open up new angles and create opening in an opponent’s defenses that would not naturally be there if you stand against them face to face. To this end, the steps of the technique are rather simple: the user brings their weapon up to deflect an opponent’s blow as normal, but steps around the attack rather than holding their ground (without dropping their block), thus deflecting the incoming blow while forcing their enemy into a momentary overextension, opening them up for a counter-strike. Though quite useful, this technique is limited to use in close quarters, and is utterly useless at range.

After successfully blocking/deflecting a blow from an opponent (at close range), the user strikes out with a rapid cut/thrust made by the opening created by their block, making it that much harder to deal with the attack in question. This technique is limited in its use, being utterly useless against ranged attacks.

Perhaps part of her genetics or simply a random quirk of fate, Sora is unnaturally resilient, be it to physical pain or the toils of extended combat. While most Shinobi would collapse in exhaustion at having used all but the smallest sliver of their chakra reserves, she pushes on; while most Shinobi would wilt beneath the weight of sleepless night after sleepless night, she keeps going. This does not mean she does not feel pain/the strain of extended combat, but rather that her threshold for shutting down because of it is far higher than others. To give an example, if she were to be stabbed through her abdomen, she would still feel the pain of the injury, and it would hinder her ability to move/act, but it wouldn’t stop her, whereas a normal ninja might freeze up or shut down from the pain.

Bet You Didn’t See That Coming [Speed SA]
A byproduct of her enhanced endurance, Sora (despite what many would think) dislikes being injured- and with that dislike comes the intense desire to avoid getting hurt, a desire that has pushed her to hone her body until it could move faster than most others of her rank. In short, Sora is fast- very, very fast.

POWAH! UNLIMITED POWAH!! [Chakra Reserves SA]
After a lifetime of utilizing nearly every ounce of chakra in her body just to survive, Sora’s chakra reserves have expanded a considerable amount to compensate- while she’s no Jinchuuriki, her ability to toss out jutsu after jutsu and still have enough chakra to keep going is quite remarkable, a testament to just how much of the stuff she actually has.

I Am Not Left-Handed [Kenjutsu Mastery SA]
Sora is not merely a Kenjutsu specialist- she is a master when it comes to the art of the sword; after over two decades of training, her skills are unrivaled within Kirigakure, falling short only to the Seven Swordsman themselves… some of them, anyway. This mastery allows her a distinct advantage when fighting other Bukijutsu specialists of similar or lesser rank.

Beyond being a master of Kenjutsu, Sora has practiced for decades to become the faster swordswoman she can be. As such, her Kenjutsu techniques come out faster and move quicker than those performed by others of her rank.

Whatever metal and forging process was used in the creation of Samidare, it worked; Samidare is utterly unbreakable by most any means, capable of being engulfed in an S-Rank Jutsu and remaining unscathed. Though it is possible that the blade could potentially be broken by a sufficiently powerful attack (such as, say, a Bijuu-dama), this has never been tested, so it is not known if it would survive.

Sharper Than Your Average Blade
Due to its nature as an unbreakable blade, Samidare bears a cutting edge that is of particular note, which allows it to slice through even steel with little in the way of resistance, so long as the proper force is applied. Additionally, this edge never needs to be resharpened, as it never grows dull or rolls, thus making it perfect for frontline combat.

Light as Spring Rain
Perhaps a quirk of its forging (or perhaps an intentional feature), Samidare is considerably lighter than a blade its size and length ought to be; while this would normally result in a less effective weapon, Samidare loses none of its integrity or cutting power, as it is somehow able to leverage the same amount of force through less mass. This lightness allows the user to swing the weapon about with much greater speed for the same amount of physical exertion.

Chakra Conduction
Being Chakra Conductive, Samidare is capable of channeling all types of Chakra for use in Bukijustu, and, more particularly, it has a slight affinity for Raiton chakra thanks to Sora’s constant use of the blade for that purpose. This affinity does not do anything of real note, but it does feel as if the blade were more eager to drink in Raiton Chakra than other types.

Things began moving in a slowed manner for the young jonin, as she spun around her opponent and took a strike at the Kiri woman’s blindspot, she was sure that the woman would struggle to react a bit - Kazui herself was no slow poke by any means however as she swung her blade behind her the bokken would be split in half as it was knocked upwards - exposing her left side. The bystanders watched on in awe at the opening created by Sora.

Kazui herself was even surprised to a degree despite the fact that she was watching everything unfold much slower than anyone else. She had the moves telegraphed and in truth, there were ways out of her situation but having been in the gauntlet for so long - the woman just couldn’t move as fluidly as she would have liked so she simply accepted her fate.

WHACK!

"Oomph” As the bokken smacked into the ravenette’s ribs the girl would stumble and fall backwards onto her bottom, catching herself with her hands to cushion the fall to an extent. The airborne portion of her own bokken would fall from the heavens and bonk the young jonin in the head as well. "Ughh” Kazui groaned as she clenched at her side, her breathing now labored as her lungs pushed up against her bruised ribs with every breath. Before long, the girl went from a seated position to lying flat on her back - her gaze watching the clouds above.

All of the bystanders in attendance cheered and jeered. Enemies or not, any shinobi would appreciate Sora’s display of swordsmanship. "Hey everyone!” A single chunin found the group of shinobi and decided to pass on a bit of information. "The festivities are beginning, you don’t want to miss it!” He spoke before jogging off, many of the genin following behind him, leaving Kazui and Sora there on the makeshift battlefield.

Kazui remained floored, looking up towards the stars. The pride in her began boiling over but even she, an Uchiha, knew that it was only a matter of time before she was knocked off of her pedestal. Knowing this however didn’t make it any easier.

DESCRIPTION:
This ability allows the user to find, sense, and track individuals through their chakra over vast range that exceeds ten kilometers. This is done by focusing and opening the mind's eye, though due to the low chakra cost many users keep it active often. The ability also extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including the user, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, the user can perceive its location and movement with great detail.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

[Sora Minami]

Sora felt her blow hit, the force of it vibrating through her arm as she drove her bokken into the point just below the Uchiha girl’s ribs, wood creaking against flesh as she rotated her body into the cut and arced the blade upwards. Under normal circumstances, in a real duel, she would have stepped in, following up her cut with a second, then a third, tearing her opponent apart in a flurry of strikes meant to disarm, disable, and decapitate. But this wasn’t a real duel- and she was not here to kill the girl, just knock her down a peg or two.

So, when the raven-haired Kunoichi stumbled back, falling onto her rear-end, only to be hit in the head by her own weapon, which had been cleaved in twain by her parry, she didn’t follow up with another attack. Instead, the Kiri-nin stepped back, dismissing the pulsing chakra blade from her fingers as she looked down at the younger woman, breathing slowly. The storm in her chest faded slowly, its howling call dimming to the steady growl of a predator no longer on the hunt, yet ready to pounce in the blink of an eye.

The crowd had already begun to disperse, drawn by the promise of festivities, until only she and the Uchiha girl remained; she offered her no hand up, no advice or encouragement, only a flat, focused stare that bore down at the raven-haired girl, waiting.

"Is that it?" She asked after a long moment, voice sharp but not hostile, her hand holding the bokken between her fingers in the same firm, ready grip she’d been using the entire time. "Is that all it takes to knock one of the esteemed Uchiha on their ass? Because if it is…"

Well. She could put two and two together.
