Kumori is already in the training grounds, wearing her usual training clothing and wielding the heavier wooden blade that she was still learning to use; she knows that she can only use it for a while before the additional weight of that iron core would cause her arms to become far too exhausted and painful to use with the wooden sword. But she needed this kind of training to learn to wield her more powerful blade, which she usually had to leave home. There's another air-shaking smacking noise as wood slams into wood again, with the weight of the sword and her strength causing the wooden dummy's body to dent inwards as the wood fibers come loose from the training dummy. She takes a moment to pause in her attacks to look over the training dummy's damage, having left behind similar dents all over it as she's practiced several of her strikes already.

Luckily, the dark-haired kunoichi still hadn't expended herself, so she felt she was at least getting a bit stronger with every use of the wooden training blade. It was helpful that the sword itself was still quite useful as a weapon on its own, so she'd be able to make use of it for a while until she was better able to use the more powerful weapon. She lets the weapon rest point-down and leans it against her hip as she takes a moment to dust off her clothing; it didn't help that the white cheongsam and the peach-colored floral silk edging of her clothing showed the dirt so well. It was simply because the clothing was so bright, and the dirt was a darker color. She's glad that at least the headband on her forehead was able to keep away the sweat from dripping down over her eyes, although the armor on her shoulders, forearms, legs and hips did make her feel a bit heavier than if she wasn't wearing them. But she needed to train with the armor on; one must train how one plans to fight, after all.

Then she notices some movement from the corner of her eye, and she turns her head towards the entrance of the training field. It was a few hours after lunch time, and it was rare for most people to go out and train during such a warm part of the day, but it wasn't necessarily unheard of for particularly invested shinobi to come and practice. She wonders who it might be.
