The momentum had shifted, his opponent had been in complete control of this fight but he'd wrested it from her, with blood, sweat, and some burn related tears. But looking upon his works, he was quite happy with how things were going now, his flock going above and beyond in what he'd planned for them. And while he hadn't been able to fully dodge that fire wall, she hadn't been able to simply dodge his shuriken attack as well. He watched with satisfaction as the blades hit home, partially deflected but the sheer size of it mean g even when thrown off course by that girls staff it still left a decent cut. Yeah, he was definitely still in this fight. The young teen expected her to leave herself open, to focus on the flock surrounding her now, but she didn't. In fact, he was somewhat caught off-guard by what happened next. Her blitzing him.
Loud cries came from the flock as they went from mobbing the poor girl too finding themselves diving through flames, confusion at just what'd happened filling their calls. Only Suzaku would fully understand, be able to make what'd happened. The girl being surrounded by flames as she started moving at extreme speeds. Speeds not even he could truely follow, let alone react too. She went from near the other end of the arena to suddenly appearing within swinging distance of her staff. His eyes were wide, he hadn't expected her to reach those speeds, to body flicker. It was what it had to be, to go so fast that his eyes could barely follow beyond a blur, let alone the rest of him. He'd never seen a body flicker like that before, not that that was important. What was important was that she was in front of him now, in melee range.
Then she started moving, the long, silver haired girl twirling behind him. Thankfully, this he could follow much easier, his hand reaching towards his back to grab the Fuuma Shuriken, his body catching up with everything else finally. Unfortunately, he also realized something, that while he could follow her he was still a step behind her. Slower than her. And as he turned to retaliate against her attack, he'd be caught off guard a second time, as a stabbing pain went into his abdoman. A sharp breath, followed by a shout escaped the boy. And his hand went to the stabbing pain to find blood, and that he'd literally been stabbed. Looking down to see a hidden blade piercing his body. He stumbled back now, hand on the wound. It hadn't gutted him, which was good, but it wasn't some minor scrape like the other attacks had been. This had been a direct hit, and he was gasping in pain as he stumbled back. Thankfully, he had reinforcements. The flock would have figured out the trick by now, and there even more clones on top of that. The girl would find herself from having been surrounded by a flock to a full fledged murder now. Blackness and feathers surrounding her, obscuring her vision and hearing if she couldn't find a way to escape from the mob, as they screeched and surrounded her. The teen would at least have a moment to recollect. To search through his pack to pull out a tag while breathing heavily, his other hand on his wound. Which he'd hold out, and would be grabbed by a familiar looking bird in his flock. A crow with a large beak.
The rest of the mob would be tearing at her vulnerables, scratching at her eyes and especially, her open wound. The cut would be a huge focus of attack by three clones of his familiars, their large beaks well suited to tearing flesh. And with these distractions, it might be hard to hear the loud caw behind her. Under her. But the flock would be silent for a moment as wings took to the air. And suddenly the flock would thin, going from near 60 to only fifteen birds. The girl able to see the boy in front of her now, with a crow on his shoulder. And if she looked down, she'd see an explosive tag right beneath her. And then Suzaku would make the sign, and it would explode.
-Momentum shifted! We can still do this!
-Shuriken gets a hit! Suzaku is happy, and prepares for her to shift focus between him and birbs
-She doesn't do that. Instead she blitzes him. He is caught hella off guard
-Birbs have no idea what happened, Suzaku only has a slight idea what happened
-Jun is within staff smacking distance now, and Suzaku hasn't reacted at all
-Finally his body catches up as Jun starts twirling, but unfortunately he's slower than her
-Gets stabbed in a direct hit. Is not feeling good
-Stumbles back as the flock catches up, and more birb clones arrive
-So many birds that her vision and other senses will be obscured by birds as Suzaku grabs an explosive tag
-Gives it to a crow clone, while the other crow clones target Juns wound picking at it. Rest of birds are attacking eyes on top of obscuring vision
-CROW drops explosive rag directly beneath Jun. Most of flock retreats, and Suzaku activates tag while crow is on shoulder
(BIRDS: 2 Crows x2 + 18 Birds Summoned from call x2 = 36 + 4= 40+20-15=45)
JUTSUS:
NAME: Karasu no mure kakure [Hiding in a Murder of Crows]
RANK: B
CHAKRA USAGE: Maintain: Very Low
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu
ELEMENT: -
HANDSEALS: --
DESCRIPTION:
Using nothing but murder speech, a member of the Kyuumu clan can normally talk to and command birds individually; however, by using some chakra and a large flock of crows, the user can call an incredibly large number of birds to their current location. While this jutsu is being used the crows are cloned continuously, making them almost impossible to get rid of completely. While some of the crows may end up attacking the enemy and causing minor damage, the primary function of this jutsu is to obscure the vision of the enemy.
Individuals that are trained to hide amongst the murder of crows created by this jutsu are just as difficult to find as a Kirigakure shinobi trained to hide in mist. Unlike the Hidden Mist jutsu however, the crows will caw and alert the Kyuumu of the enemy's exact location within the flock, giving the user of this jutsu a unique advantage over their opponents.

Kyoukou Kousai:
Like all children born in the Kyuumu, Suzaku had his eyes taken out and replaced with crow eyes when he was just a baby. And while this sounds gruesome, the benefits of such an operation that the boy can't even remember are undeniable. His kinetic vision is enhanced to a degree far beyond normal human levels, able to trace movement and speeds that most would have difficulty processing as if they were moving in normal speeds, and with clear enough vision he's able to pick out small details at the same time, even from great distances as he can see far beyond human limits as well. He also effectively has night vision, needing only the bare minimum of light to make out things in great detail, and even make out magnetic fields which allow him to tell the direction of North as long as he can see. However, this enhanced eyesight also means things like artificial lights can give him a headache if he stares at them as he can see their rapid flickering, and if he can't see at all its all moot.
On top of this, like all Kyuumu, the boy is fully capable of understanding all birds and being able to talk with them. He is much more proficient at this then when hes talking too people, feeling much more comfortable talking to birds as it's something he's done his whole life. However, when multiple birds are talking at once it's the equivalent of being surrounded in a crowded street, and the boy can be easily overwhelmed as he's not yet experienced enough too make out the different conversations.
Kinetic Vision:
While all Kyuumu have exceptional movement based vision, Suzaku is exceptional even among other Kyuumu, things often managing to appear as if they're moving in slow motion as he is able to process high speeds to such a high degree. This not only let's him pick out details of high speed moving things, but lets him react to them better as well, not because his reflexes are better but simply because they appear slowed to him.
