Stars littered the night sky, and save from a few clouds scattered throughout the dark ominous sky everything seemed rather clear. Patches of mist made visibility a chore at best - that is until the group managed to make it into the clear. The smell of saltwater filled the atmosphere but this was far from a stroll on the beach. The sounds of waves crashing against the side of their small to medium sized rescue ship, causing the vessel to sway persistently from left to right bringing the realization of their duty back to the forefront of their minds. Most others would find it difficult to keep their balance, however for Kazui and her crew this was only light in comparison to the training they had undergone.

Near the nose of the ship there stood the young jonin, raven colored hair swaying with the passing ocean breeze. Already dressed in her wetsuit, the woman ditched her flak jacket and equipped herself with the tools provided that would make their life a bit easier during this mission. Rebreathers, Oxygen, Communication Devices, and Headlamps. In the driver's seat of the boat sat their fourth member, a chunin specialized in boating and things of the like. With a big smile the boy would wave, however looking over her shoulder the woman’s attention would shift back towards her team.

"Just to be on the safe side, I'm going to go over the objective again…Michi...” Dark grey hues shifted over to the younger shinobi. Kazui knew that the Uzumaki had a tendency of being forgetful of some things, so being certain was the only way for the Uchiha. "We are to look for any survivors, as we know a ship has been sunk not much further out. While finding any survivors would be great, however our true objective is to find the cause and reason behind our ship never making it to its destination.” Looking over to her crew as yet another cold brisk of air washed over the area. "Anything of value is to be collected as well.” The woman mentioned.

Once the group cleared one final patch of misty air, they’d all see what appeared to be the remains of the ship floating in the water. Planks of wood and litter debris scattered across the water’s surface - a single man hanging onto a piece of the vessel that once carried him. "Kami..” His eyes lit up at the sight of the boat, yet he was far too exhausted to react much further, "Turn..back..” He voiced with the last bit of energy he had - returning his head to a laid position; it was clear that the survivor was just barely hanging on.

Kazui paid little mind to the man’s words, perhaps he was too deprived of nutrition to realize that they were there to save him, however she wouldn’t let his warning fall upon on deaf ears. Instead she’d turn to her crew, and with a nod she’d lead the way. "Stay close.” Gracefully leaping from their boat and into the water, breaking the surface momentarily before eventually floating her way back towards the top. The ravenette expected her team to not be too far behind.

Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

[Hisana]

A mission at last!

While it was not her first time on a mission, it was her first with her new squad. Missions before were few, and too often Hisana had taken a back seat for the two more experienced genin that had been matched with her. On the other hand, she likely had more experience aboard a ship than most others.

Sea legs adjusting quickly allows Hisana to stand quite casually, calmly savoring the heaving and rolling of the small vessel on the waves. She is calm for the journey, pleased even, and withstanding not the slightest amount of seasickness. In spite of the mission she did not skimp on her finery. Soft silk and satin cloaked her figure well, padding her below layers of fabric and hidden pockets.

"I have not been to sea in too long.” She’d stated as they left the shore, and in spite of the danger she seemed ever pleased to be there.  Though not an expert of making conversation she would still try to converse with her squad.

As they travel Hisana remains relaxed and at ease, only taking on a more serious appearance as they neared their mission. She’d fall in with the rest of her team, listening to Kazui’s instructions before following her over the taffrail with her tessen in hand. She lands on the churning surface of the water as light as a feather might, wetting only the bottoms of her bare feet as she fails to break the surface.

The first thing she would check on, if no one else did, was the poor survivor clinging to the flotsam. She’d offer him a hand, and then her shoulder once he was up, and begin bringing the man carefully back to the ship. A little extra weight took a little extra chakra to keep above the water’s surface, but she could not leave a sailor to drown.

"Calm, friend, we have you. you're okay now." She says quietly and consolingly to the near death sailor.

Michi didn't mind missions they helped him with his hobbies as the money they received for completing missions just meant more supplies or funding for his books, but what he hated about them was the fact they forced him to stop writing. Especially missions such as this where one needed to go underwater. He could easily write while traveling somewhere and running through the trees, albeit he sometimes missed his footing at times resulting in him slowing missions down, or when they are riding a ferry to cross huge bodies of water, but going into the water he couldn't write while doing that. Plus his supplies would get so heavily damaged it wasn't worth the risk to simply be able to write a few paragraphs only for it to melt under the water. So reluctantly he would leave behind his supplies for this mission. [break][break]

Leaving his writing tools behind certainly made Michi a lot more irritable than usual and his focus was practically nonexistent it seemed the new team leader they were given noticed as she had to repeat the mission objectives to him. Once Kazui was done speaking Michi did have to admit to himself he rolled his eyes in annoyance and wanted to rebuttal back to the leader, but dropped it in favor of hoping the less he said the faster they could get this done. Once they reached their destination and the two others jumped into the water Michi contemplated not joining in and simply staying in the boat, but he grunted in annoyance thinking of how they would simply chew his ear out if he didn't help out. So jumping into the cold water below he simply followed along not making too much of an effort to get to the man who was now keeping him from his hobbies.

It took everything in Kazui to ignore the boy's stubbornness, however she was making it work. With Kisana taking the man back to the boat, the jonin would turn her attention to her subordinate. "I don’t want to be here as much as the next, however this is what we were assigned.” She voiced to the Uzumaki, her tone was soft, still, and calm. However behind that gentle voice was a more stern undertone. Regardless, they all had a million better things to do than floating in the middle of the ocean. Well they were closer to Whirlpool Country than anything.

Once Kisana rejoined the group Kazui gave the fiery-haired genin a nod before turning to the girl as well. "Stay close, we don't get separated by any means. However, if we do…just return to the surface and we’ll all regroup there.” She looked to her team in suspense, seeing if the plan was alright with them before they executed. Regardless of their response however Kazui would toss them both an earpiece, walkie-talkies of sort that would allow them to communicate place her rebreather over her mouth.

"Ready?” She asked, and with a nod the woman would disappear beneath the water’s surface. Immediately upon doing so, Kazui would turn on her lamp and her gaze fell upon the missing vessel. A shame…they weren’t far from their destination at all. The woman thought as she began to make her way towards what remained of the ship. It was a bit far out, luckily however the boat seemed to have been caught in a more rocky and jagged terrain, so it didn't sink too far. Kazui was determined and continued in stride.

Once she managed to place her hands onto the wooden body of the ship, Kazui turned to look at her team. From Kazui’s viewpoint there seemed to be no immediate entrance however if one were to look further down the length of the ship they’d see an opening blown into what appeared to be closer to the nose end of the vessel. More interesting would be the tendrils it seemed to be tangled in - there was no threat detected by the ravenette as whatever it was had no sensible signature and laid dormant beneath the woman’s mind eye. It did however have an ever so subtle pulse.

Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

[Hisana]

She had done well to keep dry, but apparently it was not to be the case. She draws a hand over the soft silk covering her left hip and snaps her fan closed.

She spends a moment placing her rebreather and radio in place, then offers a little nod in reply. Without a word she lowers down to a knee as if the water were still solid ground, then slips head first through the surface of the water. Soaked in an instant she does her best to swim downwards, her silks and hair both billowing out beautifully around her.

She had spent so much of her life trying to avoid falling into water. Poles and ropes for grabbing things at a distance, she had previously numerous tools for saying aboard her boat. Now here she was, willingly plunging into the depths. Rebreather or not Hisana holds her breath. Gripping her fan tightly so as not to lose it she would struggle to keep her kimono at bay and modestly in place.

It was a chore, a hand sacrificed to keep her skirts lowered. She waits patiently for the squad to assemble, then happily sets off after them.  Swimming at least made some progress, giving her a moment to simply kick her feet and glide easily forward.  A little nervous being well out of her element, she keeps an almost paranoid vigil on the sea around them.

Not for enemy nin, of course. For sharks. She was the child of sailors, she hated sharks!

"Fine," Michi would say in response to Kazui's comment about his dislike of being here while also muttering to himself, "doesn't mean I have to enjoy myself then." Which of course meant he wasn't going to jeopardize the mission by any means and in fact would just like to get it out of the way as soon as possible, but he would still be bitter at not having to get to multitask what he normally did while on missions and what not. Just a mild annoyance if you will at the whole situation.[break][break]

Soon the mission would begin and with now an earpiece in which to communicate with each other Michi would simply follow along with the team. He wasn't going to drag the team down with his reluctance, but he wasn't about to lead the team and simply would do things as needed. It wasn't like he would be that useful in the water anyways since he would be more useful on land anyways, but he wouldn't let the mission fail if anything. Reaching the boat along with the rest of the team he would look around at the boat wondering what they needed to do now. He would point down under the boat and ask, "Do we try down there?" A bit more helpful than what he would normally do, but he figured if he provided at least something for the team it would prove he wasn't dead weight.

[Lady Kazui]

Kazui kept note of both her students, a bit annoyed at their demeanors but happy that they were willing to listen to the woman despite their dislike of the water surrounding them. Though she would’ve liked if Daredemo tagged along as well, she'd allow the boy time to himself as she and the others worked on things together. Things were going smoothly for the trio for the time being, Michi managed to spot an opening and Kazui would give him a nod of approval. "Good looking out, Michi. Perhaps you could make a living out of this.” She joked with the Uzumaki, her tone was raspy and laced with notes of static as her voice waves transmitted over the radio.

Hearing downwards the jonin found the opening and promptly entered. The inside of the vessel seemed just as worse as the outside, things thrashed about, bodies floated lifelessly beneath the water. Papers, documents, and decorations scattered about the vessel. It was clear that a struggle took place, and whatever or whoever caused it was surely a threat to most.

Continuing to search the shipwreck, Kazui led the team to the wheelhouse of the ship where the captain had once operated. Pulling the handle of the door would prove useless, instead Kazui opted to cut down the entrance with her blade. An X slashed into the wooden barrier before it was eventually kicked down.

Upon entering Kazui and both of her students would see various documents and lockboxes floating about. Surely classified information surrounding operations, future plans for the village, and other important items. Kazui began collecting as much as she could, folder and lockbox in grasp - though as she did so she couldn’t help but sense a feeling of danger looming overhead. "Hisana, Michi…Stay on your toes and keep your eyes peeled." The Jōnin’s spoke as the ship itself began to shake and shift. The feeling of danger amplified, and before the jonin could fully realize what transpired she’d go back on her original statement. "Scratch that, stay clos..” The sound of quick movements scurrying through the waters would be heard by all in attendance. They weren’t alone, however Kazui would be the first to come face to face with the threat.

A tendril rushed forward snatching the jonin up, slamming her against the wooden interior of the ship - pinning her down with force. ’Oof’ Lockbox and folder alike flew from her possession and back into the waving water - though easily collectible for the genin. A second tendril rushed towards the jonin, further crashing into Kazui - punching the young woman through the wooden surface and out the other side of the ship. A pair of tendrils shot outward for both Hisana and Michi as well, though they’d have plenty of time to retreat back to the surface or to go against their sensei’s advice and fight. Though as long as they were underwater, the two would be in the element of their opposition. A brief glance would be had of the man, yet that is all that was allotted before his tendrils would strike at the genin. Aiming for Hisana’s shoulders and for Michi, the man would aim to wrap the tendril around the boy’s neck.

DESCRIPTION:
This ability allows the user to find, sense, and track individuals through their chakra over vast range that exceeds ten kilometers. This is done by focusing and opening the mind's eye, though due to the low chakra cost many users keep it active often. The ability also extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including the user, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, the user can perceive its location and movement with great detail.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

[Hisana]

Hisana was already on guard. She was on edge, even far removed from her normal habitat. A silent thought flits through her mind, idly wondering if the medical corps had to suffer the indignation of… submersion.

Still, she is a strong swimmer, have grown up on ships. So long as she is moving her kimono remains sleek and held back, streamlined by motion and the pressure of water, but each time she stops it continues to billow again. It rises around her like some manner of haunting specter, and thought it makes her an obvious, and very colorful target, it also helps hide her body in its billowing depths.

Not so much an advantage though, as she was forced to battle with it too often. She pauses while Kazui ‘unlocks’ the ships door, a mild note of amusement lighting her smile, but only for a moment. The next she is struggling with her kimono again. Thankful to be moving again she swims along after her sensei, offering up her assent to the first order with a simple and softly spoken "Hai”, though she does not get to remain in forward motion long.

As she speaks she moves her tessen from her right hand to her left, and instead slips her right hand behind her back. She tugs on the handle of her wakizashi, prepared to draw it when suddenly Kazui is assaulted by some manner of very rude squid.

"Sensei!” She calls out with surprise, though she did not have time to focus on Kazui for very long. More tentacles kept coming, and yet more violence. There is some dismay for what she’d have to do, but such was the ever changing nature of being a kunoichi. Tentacles aimed her way she draws her sword, though her hand remained for a moment behind her back. She twists and turns, enjoying, at the very least, the freedom of motion being mostly weightless provided.

Wait, did that squid have a face?!

Given more time to react than her leader was, Hisana quickly floods her body with chakra. Waterwalking, but everywhere. She creates a tiny amount of space, a buffer on her body, a second skin of her abundant chakra that quickly pushes away the surface tension slowing her down. In a flash she’s upside down, twisting the billowing fabric she was still trapped in.

As tentacles rush for her they’d just be grappling with a shapeless and heavy mass of bright colors and floral prints. As she drew her blade Hisana had severed her obi, the razor edge of her shortsword finding no resistance from the few layers of silk. The act has freed her to move, but left her with few other options than to be somewhat better know to her team.

As the tendril is groping about her poor dress, a flash of milk pale skin .. streaks.. through the dark waters. Motion enhanced through her chakra she lands with some impact on the front face of a floating filing cabinet adrift in the murk.

She forgoes any notion of modesty now, her short sword held in her right hand and folded fan clutched tight in her left. Both are held far out to the side as she focuses a very clearly displeased pair of blood red eyes upon squidman.

"Sensei, are you okay?” she barely has time to ask, that moment is the only in which she is still. She is stunning, a shock of milk white amid the surrounding darkness. The gods had been almost too generous when blessing her growing curves, and the bandages wrapped around her chest strained to contain her. A pinched waist and wide hips hid only behind a tiny flap left for modesty. She was otherwise without clothing.

A little bit of chakra pours onto the filing cabinet a moment before she ‘leaps’. It was her anchor, tying her back to the object. Rushing so straight at an opponent was a foolish move and she knew it well. It did, however, make her a fine and vulnerable target. As such, it only made sense to seed her Kawarimi into the surface she had just been perched atop.

As she slips forward through the water she prepares her sword, ready to thrust its tip deep into any cephalopod that dares defy her.

Michi couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at Kazui's comment about making a living out of this. What the hell did she even mean by that? Whatever it didn't concern him after all his discovery helped push them forward in the missions so at least it meant they were closer to being done. So following the group, he would enter the ship behind Kazui making sure to keep an eye out for Hisana who seemed to be having issues with her outfit in this expedition. Didn't want her getting lost because of a wardrobe malfunction after all.[break][break]

Eventually, they would end up in the wheelhouse of the ship and after some finagaling by Kazui, the entrance was opened. Granted not as gracefully as someone normally opening a door, but it was probably waterlogged anyway so it made sense why it was so unyielding. Once they entered though the amount of debris and clutter floating in the room gave Michi a bit of pause. How were they supposed to find any documents of real note and were they even going to be useable? They had to have a ton of water damage to them so who knew what kind of condition they would be in once they took them out of the water, but Miichi wouldn't be given much time to think about this when danger seemed to follow them here.[break][break]

In a flash of seconds after the shifting of the ship, Kazui would be taken from their location and a series of tentacles would come after the two genin. Grabbing a kunai Michi would slash at the tentacle aiming for him to stop it from strangling him and then quickly forming the handseals for a jutsu. After the four hand seals, his body would begin changing into that of a fish, his breathing device falling to the floor of the room, giving him the ability to swim without restriction. The fish he turned into was a sailfish and using his newfound speed and attack capabilities he rushed through the hole Kazui was pushed through to chase after the tentacle that attacked her. He knew they needed her for the battle so hoping to be a vessel for her to use to get in and out of places he would offer his form as a way to get around the water quickly.[break][break]

After four hand-seals, the user is capable of transforming themselves either into a person or animal, as long as the creature is less than 10 meters tall. Unlike regular henge, this technique allows the user to completely take on the characteristics of the said animal, though they lose their ability to perform jutsu while transformed. They're also capable of holding the form in battle, even after taking considerable damage, though the more damage they take the more taxing the technique becomes.[break][break]

Damage is retained between both forms, so a broken arm in one's original form would make it impossible to fly if you transformed into a bird; and any damage taken in their transformed state is retained when they return to their original form. If this jutsu is used to transform into someone with a higher rank, you're still limited by the physical capabilities of your rank and specs; this same rule doesn't hold when transforming into an animal that might have natural physicality beyond the user.

[Lady Kazui]

Don’t just weather the storm.

Things were headed downhill and quickly at that, Kazui had been separated from her underlings and was still restrained by the tentacles holding her down. The jonin managed to wiggle the grip loose enough so that she could free a single arm, and with that she’d stab a kunai into the tentacle to free herself completely as the tendrils retracted long enough to allow for a full escape.

Back in the shipwreck however, things would only get tougher for the genin, the longer that they remained beneath the water - the longer they remained at a massive disadvantage. With both Kazui and Michi digging their kunai into the flesh of the squid man, he’d let out a deafening shrill that would shake them both down to their bones. Disorientating would be an understatement, the high pitch noise was debilitating up close.

"Hisana?” Kazui’s voice called out, laced with static and hints of concern from hearing the feedback on the opposite line. "Thank goodness you’re alright. Michi?” She yearned to hear the boy’s voice to ensure his safety as well, but only caught a glimpse of him as he came to her rescue. "Head to the surface. Now.” She voiced with a seriousness in her tone that none of her students had ever heard before. This wasn’t a game, it was life or death - with their safety resting in her hands.

As Kazui gave her order, she’d continue to slash away at the tentacle as she tried to find her way back above water - though the tentacle continued to pull at the young jonin’s leg. In the shipwreck however, things were much more hectic. Seamlessly acting on the defensive, the squidman would spew pitch black ink into the water before shooting through the water like a speeding torpedo. His force was great enough to knock out much stronger opponents, if hit head on during the squid's charge Hisana would surely be knocked unconscious beneath the water. Luckily the man’s intent wasn’t to attack her head on, but to run away from the immediate area - his chakra falling beneath Kazui’s sensory yet again as if he were never there to begin with.

The calm returned but for how long? Kazui managed to find her way back to the water’s surface, climbing her way out before sitting atop the water on her hands and knees. She coughed up some water, but was better off now since she was breathing actual oxygen. Their fourth member stood on the boat and waved as if nothing had happened. "Heyyy! Ya’ find those documents?” He asked obliviously.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

[Hisana]

There would be some muted grumbling, not quite words, and definitely not profanity, muttered through Hisana’s rebreather as her prey escapes.

Left alone but relatively safe, she gathers up her clothes and seeks an exit. Leaving through the door they’d entered through gives the genin enough time to slip back into the loose layers of her dress. She is slow getting to the surface as she puts her clothes back on. She is forced to hold her wakizashi, scabbard and all.

Irritated at the submersion and disappointed at a fight averted, she sheathes her wakizashi last and makes her way towards freedom from the water. Climbing through the surface of the water she sets back to walking on it’s surface, and shedding much of the water soaking her clothes.

"The octopus escaped me. If I am free to state my opinion I think his sudden attack was rude, and extremely uncalled for.” She states the words rather flatly into her rebreather and it is genuinely difficult to tell if she was making a joke or not.

Like her humor, though, she would be mostly dry by the time she reunites with the others, her left hand holding her wakizashi against her stomach as it held her robes closed. With her right she holds her fan, and finally having a moment she pops it open and gives it more a good shaking than a wave.

"I believe there was a file cabinet down in the ship that I briefly considered throwing at the octopus. I did seem better suited for holding documents than it did as a projectile. At least while underwater.”

After a few moments she seems sorted enough, and adds.

"If we were to go back down there we might also be able to remedy the whole.. It ran away from us… thing.”

She denied his assistance and simply instructed him to retreat. He didn't like this one bit, but honestly, he wasn't going to be very helpful if she did get in a full-on fight with this monster so he had to relent. Against his wishes, he would swim quickly up and out of the water and transform back into a human shape, but now without his extra gear. For now, he would await the rest of the team to return to the surface before he made any further actions.[break][break]

Hisana would be the first to arrive between the two females and would comment on the octopus' attack being rude. To which Michi wanted to comment about how it might have been rude for them to invade its space, but felt it was unwarranted after such an ordeal for them and just kept it to himself for the time being. Even more so when Kazui appeared after some time, but instead of her saying something the man in which they were working would ask if they found the documents. To which Hibana would comment about a file cabinet that could hold said documents to which Michi would add, "We found a lockbox, but it got dropped during the commotion so we would need to go back into the water to retrieve it again." Michi mostly was stating the obvious, but he figured if he didn't for this other man's sake he would probably get annoyed they came back empty-handed on their first surfacing.

Kazui emerged back above the surface to find her students there waiting for her, she had to admit that she was a bit shaken up. Not only by the sudden attack she had faced, but the fact that Hisana and Michi were both separated.

The ravenette struggled to catch her breath, exhaling deeply at the realization that none of them retrieved the documents, and it seemed as if Michi noticed as well. A sigh parted the jonin’s lips as she turned to face her team. "Stay here. I’ll go search the shipwreck for the documents.” Her tone was no different than before. "Whatever that is - is far too dangerous for genin. Sorry.” The woman stated blandly. "The only exception is if there is no other option, understood?” Turning to face Michi, she’d give him a look and a nod, before giving the same gesture to Hisana. Without words spoken, she’d place her trust and faith in her team before making her departure back into the depths of the ocean.

Approximately 5 minutes went by for the genin as Kazui searched below. Inky and clustered waters weren’t quite ideal searching conditions. On top of that, the ink smeared the vision of her sharingan, so as quick as the ravenette usually was, she’d have to take her time combing the waters with diligence. Despite this, Michi and Hisana would see the jonin re-emerging once again - well at least that’s who it appeared to be. A big yet calming grin curled over her lips as she approached slowly. If either of the students knew anything of their dry and rather impassive sensei, they’d know that Kazui rarely smiled and only did so sparingly.

Hands outstretched at the two, revealing a scroll to the genin. "I believe I have what we need, now let's get out of here, shall we?” A sinister energy lingering in the air, though it would mostly be picked up by the chunin accompanying team 3 - he’d put his boat in motion, making his way towards the gathering. "H-Hey! You guys ready? I'm starting to get the heebie jeebies out here!” The boy called out from a distance, still approximately 50 meters from where the group re-emerged.

"Well?” The imposter asked.

Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.
