"!!!" Akirei found himself completely taken aback by that unexpected counterattack. "He think he is Naruto?!?" The strategy of overwhelming him with sheer numbers of shadow clones, despite its apparent simplicity, proved effective in neutralising his heavy attacks. Swarmed by the multitude of clones, Akirei had no alternative but to sacrifice his shuriken critters to block the onslaught.

The fierce exchange left all of Akirei's frontal attacks practically nullified. To counter the clones, he even resorted to an explosive tag on himself, despite having initially ruled out its use. "Desperate times, desperate measures."

However, it wasn't a total defeat for him. The large fuma shuriken attack from another direction remained in play. Akirei swiftly tended to his injuries, attempting to manipulate the shuriken's movement once again with the strings.

"Eh???" He soon realised it didn't work due to the shadow clones having damaged the strings attached to it. Hastily, he dashed forward, not with the intent to harm Ren but to assist him. Just as he predicted, the rogue fuma shuriken, lacking proper maintenance and control, soon disconnected, splitting into many sharp blades toward all directions.

Fortunately, Ren was thrown away by the remaining clones, and also successfully halting the rampage of the shuriken. As it dissolved into numerous paper sheets, so did Akirei. After expending so much chakra to heal himself, he collapsed onto the green field. Gazing at the surprisingly bright blue sky, he sighed in disappointment, "Maybe I should focus on improving my endurance next…"
