This was a long time coming.

Shosuke had been preparing for this day for months now. Ever since he had first been told by his old boss that there wasn't anyone in Kumo who could heal his eyes properly, he had set out on a mission to teach himself.

A part of him felt like there was no way that she could have known that for sure, she had said it so confidently but its not like everyone knew all the techniques other people were able to use. Even so, it was transparently clear that there was nobody who was willing to sit him down and help him out.

As such, he had long since sworn to himself that he would do whatever it took to handle this himself. He studied old manuscripts in the half-light of candles, he had trained his medical capabilities through helping out with the Chuunin Exams, and he had studied other arts to ensure that his general medical talents were always fresh and ready, all in preparation for this day.

Today, Sho was going to finally fix that problem that had been lingering for what felt like almost a year now - He was going to fix his eyes, whatever it took.
