Inhale. A focused, coiled bolt of chakra flung across the blanket connecting Noro's hands, again a whiff. A valuable lesson Noro had derived was that while anything could be solved with enough planning, enough thinking. Sometimes action was a better way to handle things.
This was a fine balancing act however, if she had followed her previous approach of broad waves of chakra, like ripples of water, ringing out across the blanket, it'd never make it from one hand to another.
It needed velocity and direction to cut through the inert and stubborn lack of receptiveness from the blanket, a stark contrast from what flowed within her.
Repetition. The learning of this jutsu doubled as practice on forming chakra as equally as possible, recreating each bolt as identical as she could to the last. Each one she let off she noted how it was different from those previous, and she finely smoothed out the differences from glaring down to nigh on imperceptible.
The sensation of dry lips did not register to Noro, or how had it had gotten late and her open window no longer let in a sweet breeze, but a fierce and biting cold. Immersion had her set deep upon her task, she was beyond her years in many ways, but her ego was still something that needed work.
She could not stop when the objective had not been met.
Slightly down and more to the left. A mental note of where to aim next, in an attempt to connect her two hands through the piece of cloth. The inert and inanimate nature of the cloth made it a perfect subject for the jutsu.
The very things that made her internal systems perfect for moulding chakra meant they were the exact opposite of something suitable for applying fundamental concepts to create the illusion of invisibility. Is it easier to control the voltage of a dead battery or a live one?
Her musings were cut short by the sensation of success. Her right hand had been letting off the shots in the dark, and her left had finally felt feedback. She clung to this sensation, another shot, another beam, another coil of chakra across the blanket. Each time the sensation of chakra feedback in her left hand, that originated from her right, and travelled through the blanket, grew stronger.
