If the user chooses to redirect the attack as a projectile the amount of chakra required to redirect it is worth 1 rank higher than the technique that was absorbed, I.E if the attack being redirected was a medium rank technique then redirecting the technique costs a High amount of chakra to do so. If the user chooses to retain it for their next attack they have up to two rotations to funnel it into any Bukijutsu based technique of their choice, but the cost must be equal to the absorption rank of the technique. I.E. If a high amount is absorbed the technique must have a high raiton cap to funnel it into. Failure to release the funneled energy will result in detonation which depending on the amount of chakra absorbed can prove crippling or even fatal.
