DESCRIPTION:

The Mitsubachi clan have held long-standing ties with the hidden leaf village. Considered a lesser house of nobility, their political influence is decent at best, nonetheless, a history of rich comradery with the leaf populace has afforded special leniency and consideration for most tasks requested. Lord Mitsubachi has arranged for his youngest daughter, Ichimi [17] to be married to a wealthier family. No doubt a political move to gain prominence as word of their failing riches continue to spread across the fire country landscape. The wedding is to take place on the eastern borders of the country and as a result of this long journey, shinobi have been requested to accompany the beautiful heir on her travel. Be cautious, the roads aren’t meant for the week, and the weeks of travel can ware on any mind. Move with persistence and assist the young maiden in her escapade towards a new life for herself and her family!

The Pink Blur

Hibana had woken up today in a mood to rival any pleasant feeling she had ever had. Today she would be leaving the village to head out with Kazuto Sensei. They were being sent to escort a princess to her betrothed, a mission of love. Hibana squealed in delight at the idea of uniting two people in love. She made sure to pack light, just what was needed for the long road ahead. The sun had not yet risen in the sky but Kazuto had wanted to leave early for the long trip. After dressing in her normal attire and making sure her eye cover was on tight she leaned down kissing the sleeping Hyuga on the forehead. She made sure to leave quietly as to not awaken Raika closing the door slowly. As the morning air hit her she took a deep breath before racing off to the village gate. She leapt from rooftop to rooftop as fast as she could in a fit of excitement. This was her favorite way to travel around Konoha, the wind in her face made her feel like she was flying. Her legs pumped as fast as they could before launching her off the edge of one building to the next. It never took more than a few quick strides before she was across the next roof and into the air again. She may not have been a child anymore but moments like this made her feel free in this world of rules. In no time at all she came to the last roof stopping at its edge, just above the village walls the first rays of the days sun were beginning to crest. It took no more than a moment before she say him, jumping down from the rooftop Hibana hurried her way over to Kazuto. "Sensei! I'm here I hope you didn't have to wait to long for me. I'm so stoked for this, bringing together true love in the face of adversity. You can count on me to make sure she makes it there in one piece sir!" She snapped to attention giving a low bow to show him a sign of respect.  "I hope you can keep up Sensei." With that she turned and made her way out of the village at half speed.

The Senju had become accustomed to operate with little sleep. ANBU training had make it sure that such necessity was etched into his very being. So even when his children were rowdy and refused to sleep, he could with the tiredness. As he awaited on the main gate of the village, eyes closed, arms crossed before his chest as he mentally went through the mission. Escorting a princess to their betrodden. It wasn't the first time he was protecting a VIP. These missions where fraught with complications and a part of him expected that there would be a chance of any possible difficulty. His eyes opened as he heard the soft landing of his partner in this mission. Opening his eyes and turning to look at the blonde, pushing himself from leaning into the gate. "No worries." Kazuto said as he would walk towards her, pulling the hood of his traveling cloak down as he tried not to burst the bubble about the notion of this being something that had to do with love rather than with the reality of this being more of an alliance within noble families, sealed in marriage. "We don't need heroics." He said, placing his hand on her shoulder and giving her a quick and understanding nod. "But I'm sure I will be able to keep with you." He replied, giving her a quick grin before he retreated his hand, taking his first step outside the village, allowing the girl to take point and lead them as they went on to meet their client in a nearby town close to the village. Then they could begin their the actual mission. "You got a good night of rest, Hibana?" He asked, as they carried on the path.

    Long before the shinobi had made it to the estate of Lord Mitsubachi, there were already complications, annoyances, and squabbles out of the view of both the leaf shinobi on the road. A carriage suggested not to be good enough for the young Lady, a wheel broken on the one that was, a pair of sick horses, and to be frank, and a cranky young woman in a poor mood. As far as either Hibana or Kazuto were aware, this was a quiet walk to meet those that had made the mission request, as there was not as much as a leaf, twig, or pile of dirt out of place up to the point they reached where the young woman was waiting.

    By the time they would have reached their actual starting point for this trip, there wouldn't have been anything out of place anymore than on their way. The carriage was sitting there waiting for them the Lord's daughter already inside, horses at the ready with a carriage driver the only sign anything was at all out of place. He looked tired, frazzled, and ready to go to say the least, but gave his best smile and a slight nodding bow from his seat by the time he would have spotted the two shinobi walking up, but said nothing.

    Flanking the carriage door were two men who were guards of the young woman inside, but looked far out of their depth for doing much else than guarding doors in truth. Each had a sword hanging from their belt, looking about as sharp as a patch of grass. They were both given instructions not to speak unless spoken to, so much like the driver, they gave a light bow by the time Hibana and Kazuto were close enough to see, and waited for any word the two were ready to leave. A woman, perhaps in her thirties at most, came from the direction of the home, carrying a bag, and not at all dressed for the trip to come, headed towards the carriage. This was Ichimi's cousin, insisting on escorting her to her destination, grumbling under her breath all the way to where the two guards were standing, dropped the bag with a loud thud at one of their feet, and sighed, leaning back against the carriage door.

The Pink Blur

"I slept alright, was pretty excited for today so I think I got four good hours."  The young woman made her way down the many paths at a quick pace occasionally pulling up her eye cover to check for chakra signatures in the trees. It was a calm trip with no hiccups or hookups for the two Konoha shinobi. The few hours seemed to pass quickly mostly because Hibana seemed to never shut up about love, and Raika, being a Kunoichi and her excitement on her mission with her Sensei. When she caught sight of the waiting carriage she squeeled, it was like a fairy tale to her, the princess being escorted to her prince.

Still seeming full of limitless energy the young Namikaze skipped towards the guards introducing herself. The woman they were meant to escort had to be in the carriage she assumed before turning to the woman leaning against it. "Hello it is a pleasure to meet you, I am Namikaze Hibana and look forward to escorting your group to their destination." She was trying her hardest to keep her composure and put off an air of discipline. She stepped aside for Kazuto knowing she was not the senior on this mission, following his lead to her was a sort of training in itself.

The Senju moved to his own pace, always vigilant of the younger Kunoichi, hoping that she wouldn't escape his sight even when she seemed to overly too excited by the mission. Betraying the seriousness that a mission truly deserved, he allowed a moment to smile briefly, deciding that he would correct her when they were on the move and very discreetly at that. No need to publicly humiliate her in what seemed to be her fist outing. As they approached the rendezvous point, she would allow Hibana to introduce herself in a manner that perhaps was not befitting to a shinobi but was indicative of the way that Hibana usually was. Kazuto stopped as she finished, taking a few steps as he would tape the shoulder of her student and mission partner as to give way to himself. He looked at the guards, they seemed too new, untested like soft children. A mission like this in his opinion required those that were tested in battle and hard that childish softness burned away by the reality of combat. He kept that to himself too. The driver of the carriage seemed to be ready for this job to end and that gave him a fair indication of what sort of person they were tasked to protect. He would address himself to the woman that leaned against the carriage. Much like with the driver, he could sense a mixture of annoyance, stress and looking to get whatever they were doing done with. "I am Senju Kazuto." He said with a respectful bow, taking a moment before he would stand in attention before her. "We are indeed honoured that you have selected us to protect you for the duration of your travels." He added. "If everyone is ready, I suggest we're on our way."

    The guards were standing up straight, even more so now with the others near them, and neither said a word. The woman that was now leaned against the carriage didn't as much as react or respond when the two shinobi walked up, reaching around for pockets that weren't there, until she finally fished into the bag she had dropped and pulled out a what looked to be some type of cigarette. Snapping towards one of the guards, then fumbled around pulling out what could generously be called a match and managed to light it and the cigarette before putting it out and stepping on it.

"Hey"

    Taking a long drag after a short greeting, she blew her smoke with no regard to the others around her. She stood out against the back drop that was this entire mission and situation, but it was clear she couldn't have cared less.

"Well Namikaze Hibana, my cousin is inside of the carriage behind me, and she's in a real pissy mood."

    There was a noise from behind her as the door was clearly trying to be opened, but the smoking cousin was leaned against it rolling her eyes.

"I am not pissy, nor moody, nor angry, nor spoiled, nor impatient, or any of the other laundry list of insults you've slung at me today. Why are you coming along anyways? Uuuuugh!"

    Ichimi was at least most of those things she herself had just listed off from this small interaction. The cousin that clearly didn't seem to want to be out here anymore than the driver or the two guards exhaled smoke a second time, flicking off the ashes from the tip at her feet and nodded.

"You must be the one in charge then."

    Pointing the cigarette in Kazuto's direction, she rolled her eyes as Ichimi was mumbling some sort of annoyance or grievance inside before looking back towards him.

"I was told to tag along and babysit, so you don't have to literally babysit this one."

    A loud thud against the door was followed by more yelling from inside.

"I am NOT a baby!"

    The guards looked uncomfortable, and the driver looked like he was ready to jump down and walk off into the closest large body of water to get away from this situation, but none of them spoke. This was sure to be an interesting ride for more than a few reasons.

"Sorry about Princess Pouty, but we are ready when you are."

    She motioned towards her bag at one of the guards who was quick to bend down and pick it up, as she flicked her cigarette at the ground as the other stomped it out quickly, then turned to open the door for all three. Inside was Ichimi, arms crossed and face flush red either from the yelling or who knows what else prior to the shinobi showing up. For now though, she was quiet, making a point to hmph at her cousin and stare at the ceiling, not acknowledging Hibana or Kazuto at all, at least not at first.
