[Nara Shikajin]

Injury was liable to happen any and everywhere and sometimes fate favored you enough to keep it close to home, other times it pulled you far from the creature comforts and normalcy that a person was used to; this was the case today as a request from a distant village had come in to send medics after a fire had devastated their home and injured many. There was also the issue of not everyone in said village not being accounted for and a continuing search effort but they'd have to focus on one issue at a time. Thankfully --or luckily-- the problem wasn't severe enough to require an entire squad of shinobi but Konoha still felt it necessary to send at least a two man group.

Dreary eyes scanned the contents of a pack filled with all manner of medical supplies and other shinobi tools as Shikajin ticked boxes on his mental checklist while waiting for the second of the duo to arrive: a genin from the medical corps by the name of Yuno. The chunin wasn't particularly familiar with her but it seemed she had the requisite skill to be one of Konoha's official medics which was not to be taken lightly. There was little doubt in his mind that they'd be unable to work together though being out in the field compared to the controlled environment of a hospital was a very different feeling.
