The man then pointed at the spear before continuing, "I can perform such an act due to my overwhelming strength and speed and you definitely can't. He then recounted the universal law of physics, "Force equal to mass time acceleration." If he can't produce enough force, all he had to do was reduce the mass! The true brilliance of Nyujinkyoku reveals itself when paired with specific fighting styles tailored to its unique attributes. Take, for instance, a technique that revolves around discarding the weapon after each use or even embedding a bomb within the weapons crafted and detonating them at the end of their useful life.

He wasted no time running to the dummy, because, as mentioned before, weapons formed via Nyujinkyoku do not last long. It had quality and cost little chakra, but the cost was its existence lied in the realm of second. Yes, not a minute, but in the realm of seconds.

Without wasting any further time, he began his first attempt. He thrust the paper spear through the dummy. He did it without performing the retracting arm movement, yet his spear struck the dummy with extreme speed and power. It wasn’t just accurate, but extremely deadly, as the spear went through the thick wooden dummy with ease.

How did he do it? It was the weapon shape. Not only was it aerodynamic, but the tip of the spear was made in a way it could pierce through any object with ease. The disadvantage was the weapon would be damaged easily, but that didn’t matter much because the weapon was disposable in the first place!

"Shit… is that Fuuton?" Akirei retaliated swiftly, conjuring a long spear of his own and swinging it at the old man. But before it could connect, the old man evaded effortlessly, retracting the spear in one fluid motion. The wound began to close as papers expanded to cover the superficial injury.

"I wouldn't fall for the same trick..." Akirei spoke, but his words were cut short as another spear strike came hurtling towards him while the old man retreated. Before the healing was complete, a gaping hole tore open once again.

"!!!" The veins and muscles was indeed the indicators, there was no mistake. However, Akirei had overestimated himself. He lacked the reaction speed to dodge the attack, realising too late that his opponent possessed superior agility.

"Damn, it wasn’t even Fuuton… it was just raw speed…" The tired Susano desperately gasped for air as he looked at the smiling old man on the other side.

"You're still too young." chuckled the old master, his laughter echoing across the training grounds like the chime of ancient bells. With a keen eye, he observed the young boy's knee beginning to falter, and without hesitation, the old master seized the opportunity to unleash another lightning-fast attack.

As the sensei initiated his first step, he seemed to dissolve into the very air, leaving behind nothing but a fleeting afterimage, a ghostly echo of his former presence. In that brief moment of vanishing, a rush of wind swept through the area, causing a loud sound similar to the strong gust of wind.

Within a split second, the spear was already halfway approaching the white-haired boy, its deadly ruby tip was sparkling. The master mind was actually thinking whether he should hold back this time? But before he could come to a conclusion, Akirei's reaction shattered his contemplation.

"Ha, got you." Akirei revealed an evil grin as he raised his arm forward, the movement was so sudden to the attacker. In the blink of an eye, his hand morphed into a long, deadly spear, its form seemingly eclipsing the rushing speed of the old master's attack. It appeared that the spear would find its mark before the sensei could even close the distance. Or maybe not.

However, Akirei was not one to rely solely on brute force. "I’m not that stupid.” Swift as a striking serpent, Akirei launched his own counterattack from a lower angle. Instead of deflecting the attack upright, he aimed to disrupt the trajectory of the incoming strike. By targeting the vulnerable underside of the assault, he sought to exploit the principle of leverage, using the minimal energy required to redirect the force.

In a marvellous display of skill and strategy, Akirei's manoeuvre proved successful. The calculated push managed to deflect the old master's spear upward, altering its trajectory just enough to spare himself from the full force of the blow. Instead of piercing his arm with devastating effect, the red-tipped weapon merely grazed his ear, which he quickly healed without problem.

As the old master was stunned by the display, Akirei took the opportunity to finally turn his body around while swinging his right hand toward the old man. Seemed like this time he was gonna win it, but again, he was proven he was just too young.

"Not today!" The ruby spear suddenly sparkled harder, and immediately the spear which had lost the direction suddenly shifted direction, immediately rushing toward Akirei with even faster speed. With no other tricks left, Akirei readied himself to brace the attack. But the master stopped before the attack reached his mask.

"Thank you, my grandmaster." he said with a deep bow, bidding farewell to the man who was not only his teacher but also literally his grandmaster by virtue of his mother.

The old man simply nodded his head before returning back to the inner temple. Although he acted very unimpressed, deep down he was actually surprised at the boy’s progress.

"Sumi, I must admit... your son possesses far greater potential than you ever did." murmured the old master to himself as he glanced at the letter penned by Akirei's mother. With a resigned sigh, he began composing a reply. "Oh, god damn it... I should have kept the boy here to deliver this letter on behalf. Would have saved me a pretty penny. Fuck!"
