Akari is a young woman with naturally white hair and red-purple eyes. Her body is slim and slender with pale skin She wears light red eye and lip makeup. Her hair is cut in a split bob - with her left side left longer - and dyed with a colorful pastel rainbow gradient. Her eyes appear to reflect with the colors of her hair. She generally wears a cropped white jacket with a black unitard with red accents over a pair of white shorts and high gray stockings, and black knee-high boots.

In the academy her instructors called her bright, creative, and quiet. Since then, she has proven the first two correct, though the third one... not so much.
Above all else, Akari believes in looking out for herself. She prioritizes her own well-being and success, sometimes at the expense of others. To her, survival in this competitive world requires a certain level of selfishness. She values individualism and believes that one's uniqueness should be celebrated and cultivated. She champions self-expression and detests conformity, always encouraging others to embrace their quirks and follow their own paths. To that end, she is acutely aware of the power of perception and how it shapes reality. She believes in crafting her image and controlling how others perceive her, using it as a tool to navigate social dynamics and achieve her goals.
Akari has a fascination with urban exploration. She loves delving into abandoned buildings, forgotten alleys, and hidden passages, seeking inspiration in the decay and mystery of neglected urban landscapes.
HISTORY Childhood (1007-1016)
Akari was born during a time of peace in Amegakure to a pair of relatively unremarkable members of the Susanō, and had a relatively dull and regular childhood for a member of one of Ame's most powerful clans. By no means people of importance amongst their kin, Akari and her parents coasted through life in the sort of casual mediocrity of an average shinobi family.
That isn't to say Akari didn't go through the same sort of training expected of her clan, from the moment she could walk her parents started her training in both the standard shinobi arts and the clan techniques as well. The young girl took to these lessons quickly and with enthusiasm, finding the Shikigami no Mai to be a fascinating and beautiful artform that kept her completely fascinated for hours.
Even before she could use the techniques, she would spend hours folding paper into different shapes in preparation for the time she would be able to utilise the clan's ability.
Attending Ame's academy at the appropriate age, Akari was never the top of her classes, but nor was she anywhere near the bottom, instead sitting somewhere in the middle as her motivation to do well in class was not stoked nearly as high as her desires to use the clan hijutsu.
Orphan's Life (1016-1018)
This all changed during Iwagakure civil war. With Ame sending its shinobi out to serve the highest bidder, Akari found herself losing both her parents to the fighting, one after the other in a short period of time. This particular tragedy was enough to encourage her to take life much more seriously. Alone and hurting, and unwilling to let other family members take her in, Akari put her all into her training and her lessons, rapidly pushing to the top of her class and graduated within a few months of her mother's death.
She had realised that she could not rely on anyone else in this world. She had thought her parents would protect her, and then they were gone, lost in a senseless fight they had no reason to be involved in. Perhaps if her parents had been less willing to please, or more ruthless, they would have survived.
With her newfound mindset, it didn't take her long to rush through the curriculum at the Academy and graduate as a Genin of the Village Hidden in the Rain.
As a Genin (1018-present)
Akari's time as a genin has not been an easy one, strings of bad missions and FIGHTING STYLE Akari relies heavily on her clan Hijutsu in combat, her fighting style is defined by its versatility and her strategic acumen. Utilising her ability to manipulate her body into sheets of paper, she transitions between offense and defense, adapting to any situation on the battlefield with agility and cunning. Employing an array of paper-based techniques, from razor-sharp blades to defensive barriers and agile constructs, she tries to keep her opponents guessing and off-balance.
With exceptional mobility, aerial prowess, and control over her abilities, Akari maneuvers around the battlefield with the grace common to her clan. Her unpredictable nature and focused mindset helps her in many situations. COMBAT INFORMATION NATURAL CHAKRA: Suiton

Shikigami no Mai [Dance of the Formula Paper]
As with other members of her clan, Akari is able to to convert her body into sheets of paper, and even creat sheets of paper by expending more chakra. While in this form she can use her chakra to move and reshape her paper. She is also able heal from wounds dealt to her physical body by converting herself to paper and reconstructing her body. She is also able to levitate freely at the pace of a slow walk or faster if she forms wings of paper to aid in flight. Her paper is not affected when wet, instead soaking it will help her to resist Katon techniques, however oil can cause the sheets to stick together and resist manipulation.
Flight of the Reaper [Enhanced Speed]
Small and light, Akari is not the sturdiest or strongest of shinobi. That said, she is able to move far more rapidly than others of her rank, darting across the battlefield in and out of combat in order to take advantage of whatever openings she can. TECHNIQUES  Susanō Hijutsu
