DESCRIPTION:

After an event called 'the Culling', which involved extermination of all and anyone that opposed Nohime Kouen, the Yondaime Tsuchikage, there were some survivors still. Ninjas who either were not in the village, or managed to escape the massacre, have taken refuge in the mountains surrounding Iwagakure, not willing to lay down arms, and determined to avenge their fallen, and their leader. 

The fires of civil war are not yet extinguished. 

Hostile activity had been reported  on the borders between land of Earth and land of Waterfalls. It involved an ambush of a caravan escorted by Iwa ninjas that were loyal to the new regime. Exact location of the enemy remains unknown. Enemy forces are estimated to be of strength equal to 1 ops team - 1 jounin and 2-3 chuunin.

Jounin Hanchou Tantetsu Amatsumaru has been given a task by the Kage himself - to find and eliminate this rebel hideout. Chuunin Kitamuro Maro is attached to the unit as a scout. His talents were estimated to be most useful in the task of finding the enemy hideout.

They are to be eliminated by any means necessary. These traitors are threatening our relations with a bordering nation, and disrupt our trade. Not to mention the deaths of the caravan guards that must be avenged. Show the enemy no mercy.

Those who do not side with the Stone, shall be crushed under it.
