砂世使鷹 | Saseishi Taka | Sandscape Messanger Hawks

The Saseishi hawks have lived in the deepest, mostly uncharted areas of the Wind Country, taking roost in a location known simply as Raptor's Peak. Similar to other dwellings of summons, Raptor's Peak is not an easy place to get to, and is typically hidden from the prying eyes of humans unless they can prove their worthiness of such a secret. These hawks excel at using Wind Release and Fire Release, as well as using the Nighthawk Fist Taijutsu style, and even some styles of Kenjutu. Above all however, even the smallest and youngest of hawks are renowned for their natural speed and agility as well as their keen eye sight and their razor sharp talons. 

The Saseishi hwks once roamed the skies freely. It wasn't uncommon to see one passing over head when near a mountain range. They dominated those regions, their ruled unquestioned. In those ancient times, the hawks were regarded as guardians and masters of the sky. Their great powers over wind and flight, their courage and nobility, their powerful and swift bodies and their acrobatic combat skills meant they were both revered and or feared and highly respected. 

Those old days are gone however. in the modern age the hawks are gone from the skies, retreated from those territories they once called their domain. They have withdrawn from the world. The reasons are many. Their numbers grow smaller, as do the numbers of their prey, forcing them to gather together in a single place. Also man takes more and more room, room which the hawks begrudgingly seceded. And perhaps quite simply their interest in the world has diminished. Rather they seek new horizons and new truths to explore, things best done away from prying eyes. 

Whatever the reasons, Agana, the oldest, wisest and most powerful of the hawks, lead her people into isolation in hopes that they would find their new path in life in peace. They have broken free from the world, but not entirely forgotten it. On extremely rare occasions, and if ones eye sight is very good and one is lucky, one might see a great hawk flying high above in the sky. A select few are even luckier, they are given the privilege of being able to summon them, calling upon the great hawks and their magnificent power to their side and service. 

The Saseishi hawks have developed and use unique sets of screeches in the place of hand seals to enact their techniques, ranging from high to low pitches and are usually barely audible to all but the most sensitive ears.

This means being able to see everything within a three-hundred meter [300m] radius (unless otherwise stated with a special SA). They are also able to move at speeds equivalent to to a Taijutsu secondary spec of equal rank (unless otherwise stated by a specific SA or Taijutsu Primary/Sole specialization), and retain their range of sight while moving at maximum speed. Their talons and beaks are sharp and can pierce/cut through flesh and leather with ease (all summons); the larger summons can penetrate bone/wood (C rank and above), stone (B+), and even steel (A+), though nothing stronger than that. 
[NOTE 2] Regarding wingspans vs heights, I used Leonardo DeVinci's golden number of 1:1.6 as a basis, though I've reduced the ratio to 1.5 for more manageable numbers. As well, all wingspans were rounded up to the nearest whole number to avoid any decimal unpleasantness.

There is a white marking on her face, resembling a mask, and a white spot on her chest. The top portion of the mask marking to her older sister Shingi. The rest of Ai's head and the lower half of her wings are black. She has a long, orange beak with a black tip and oval, black eyes with white pupils. A small tuft of feathers curls over the back and her head, while a small, pointed ruff surrounds Ai' neck. She has two black tail feathers with a white feather between them. Her feet are orange with three toes in the front and one in the back.  

[Personality] Ai is what the others consider a ball of energy; she is talkative and social, enjoying both company of other geckos and humans. She takes pride in making those around her smile, even on moody or terrible days. To her it is a mission of great importance in making those upset happy. While she does have a serious side, she is smart despite her fledgling age, and is willing to impart advice to those who ask.

Despite her small size, Ai's eyes are sharp, far beyond human capacity, allowing her to spot even the most minute of details from great distances when soaring high above the skies. Her vision allows her to track everything clearly within a one kilometer [1km] radius without any issue. Equally persistent and. energetic, Ai is able to follow and pursue a target for hours without tiring. Her training as a scout has also trained her how to guide herself (and others) through places with very low visibility with great ease using her natural sense of direction. As a result of her exceptional ability, Ai can never get lost in terms of direction.

Her head and upper body are primarily black with an "M"-shaped pattern over her white chest. On Shingi's forehead is a grayish-brown spot surrounded by a white, mask-like marking with a pattern of spikes along the lower edge. She has small, black eyes with white pupils and a long, orange beak with a black tip. On the back of her head is a long tuft of feathers, which curves forward. The lower halves of her wings are black, while her tail feathers are jet black with a single white feather in the center. Unlike Ai, Shingi's orange feet are both anisodactyl and possess developed black talons.

[Personality] Shingi is a quiet and old soul; she has no desire for petty games or politics. She is patient, her bedside manner impeccable to say the least.

As a born hunter, the art of assassination comes naturally to Shingi. She has impressive skill in staying hidden, while remaining unseen and unheard in flight. When necessary, she can effectively exploit having an advantage against an opponent.. Her mastery of the art allows her to create openings where she can even sneak up on trained assassins with enough concentration. Under the cover of darkness is when Shingi excels most, as she can severely maim large individuals without them even noticing her presence.

[Appearance] The Pillar of Soldiers are predominantly orange and black plumage. Soldiers are slightly bigger than the average hawk, measuring two-and-a-half meters [2.5m] tall with a four meter [4m] wingspan. They each have a sharp, black beak, black eyes with yellow, mask-like markings behind them, and a small, pointed crest on the back of their head. A soldier's upper-side is reddish-orange while their belly is gray. There is also a flame pattern on the breast where the two colors meet. The tips and undersides of their pointed, black wings are yellow. A soldier's legs are also black with sharp talons and two toes facing forward and one back. Two white, V-shaped markings are located near the tip of their long black tail feathers. The tail ends in two points and has another feather sticking out of the base on each side, resembling the fletching on the end of an arrow.

[Personality] The Pillar of Soldiers are seen to be very protective of the flock, guardians who do not mind getting into fights for the safety and better of the contracted summons. They will do anything within their power to ensure the safety of the Saseishi hawks and the summoners. As warriors, these individuals are prideful in their capabilities and their prowess. They fight among themselves in their world, tournaments and great arena battles are had in their alcove. Those who can hold their own among the flock are worshiped and adored, stories of battles and legendary warriors entice this flock. They even whisper stories of their own great warriors to their summoners.

— [Mass Summoning] Unlike any of the other summons in the Saseishi caste, who represent themselves either individual or in a small group (as is the case of the greater Pillars), the Pillar of Soldiers is not one particular hawk, but a multitude specifically trained to engage in combat with an enemy of the contract signer. These hawks do not display specific individuality when called upon, instead acting as one cohesive force. That said, unlike any clone technique, the hawks trained to be Soldiers are very much corporal and can actively interact with the physical world. As these summons are the most common within the contract, the number called upon depends on the amount of chakra is used to summon them. Unlike other summons, however, the Pillar of Soldiers are meant more to overwhelm an opponent with sheer numbers as opposed to sheer strength, and as a result a single killing blow is all that's required to unsummon these hawks.

— [Cannablism Projection] Upon making direct eye contact with a soldier hawk, one will begin to experience a horrific "illusion" of being violently attacked and mutilated by a overwhelming flock of hawks, slowly being cannibalized. Unlike Genjutsu this does not project the soldiers' chakra into another, but thier own love for battle, and as such Kai will have no effect. Sufficient pain, or merely breaking eye contact with a soldier hawk will end the effects of the mental projection. The projection has a range of 25m.

Each foot has three forward facing toes and one that faces backward. On her chest is a mass of pale blue, downy feathers. Her long, streamer-like tail is nearly three times as long as long as her body exhibiting the same shade of blue as her crest. 

— [Genzai; center] Genzai is a large hawk, measuring ten meters [10m] tall with a fifteen meter [15m] wingspan, displaying predominantly yellow plumage. She has small, triangular eyes with black around them and a long, thin, light orange beak. Her wings and tail are a mass of spiky feathers with black feathers covering the back of her wings and inner tail feathers. A large crest of spiked feathers surrounds Genzai's head. Her thighs are tan with thin, light orange legs. Her feet possess three forward facing toes and one backward facing toe; each toe has a short but sharp talon.

— [Jōrai; right] Jōrai is a large hawk, measuring fifteen meters [15m] tall with a twenty-three meter [23m] wingspan, displaying predominantly golden-orange plumage. She has a long, flowing head crest and a billowing tail, both made of reddish-orange and yellow feathers. Additionally,  Jōrai's wings are also shrouded in fiery red-orange plumage. She has a long, thin neck, a pointed, brown beak, and small, triangular eyes. Like Genzai, she has thin, brown legs with each foot having three forward facing toes and one backward facing toe tipped with short black talons.

[Personality] Kako, Genzai, and Jōrai, better known as the Cast of Seers, are three, very excitable sisters. They are eager to please the summoner while being vicious in their offensive nature for fights. While they rarely start a fight, the Seers are more than willing to finish it and take joy in their fighting prowess.

— [Thousand Leagues Tactile Perception] 
Many migratory birds have an amazing ability to detect Earth's magnetic field, a sense they utilize like a compass to navigate great distances. The Seers have iron-containing structures in their beaks, which are arranged in a complex three-dimensional pattern, as well as fine hairs lining the outside. This gives them an acute sense of spatial orientation, allowing them to identify their geographical position. However, more specifically, a crude ability to detect the electrical impulses of bioelectric signatures. By picking up on the tiny electrical signals put off by movements of an organic creature, be it human or animal, the Seers can pick up on those signals as the water molecules in the air passes over the structures in their beaks. These structures are an external extension of the nervous system and allow the Seers to sense the location of bioelectrical signatures in a one-hundred meter [100m] radius, even in darkness. Due to the crude nature however, a genuine sensor or trained Raiton specialist can easily fool this method of tracking.

— [Shared Sight] The Seers possess a unique Genjutsu-induced vision achieved by coating their bodies in the chakra used to summon them while also doing the same with the summoner. For a [High] cost every rotation, this effectively allows the summoner to share sight with the Seers, granting the summoner three different perspectives at the same time. While "sharing sight" the summoner sees what the Seers do regardless of one's location, however the range of this ability cannot extend past five-hundred meters [500m]. While experiencing this shared sight, the summoner temporarily losses sight of what's directly in front of them, and as a result can be abused in this weakness is discovered. As well, those experiencing shared sight do not however experience any other stimuli (sans hearing, sound, smell or taste).

Yokorobi | 喜

[Appearance] Yokorobi is one of the smaller hawks in the Saseishi caste, measuring two meters [2m] talls with a three meter [3m] wingspan. She sports a primarily dark-blue, almost black, body, with a large white plume of feathers covering her head and three tail feathers extend from her lower back. The feathery ruff extends down past her neck, covering the upper third of her body. Yokorobi's face is a dark blue-black with five pointed tips, resembling a mask and crown in contrast to the white feathers surrounding it. Extending from her forehead is a large feather, which is red on the lower half and white on the upper half. The split between the two colors on the feather resembles a zigzag pattern. Yokorobi's beak is short and wide, with large eyes on either side. Each eye has a thick black iris with a small white pupil. Her yellow legs and feet are large in comparison to the body, having four digits on each foot: one backwards, and three forwards, like the majority of the caste.

[Personality] Yokorobi is a calm hawk, never rash in anything she does. She is level-headed in many aspects of her life, from daily aspects to battle. While being calm and collected, Yokorobi does pursue her goals with heavy determination and desire.

[Abilities]
— [Large Chakra Pool] Despite her young age and smaller stature, Yokorobi boasts a deep chakra pool. While her pool is much deeper than the average shinobi of her rank, she is still young and often hesitant to expend chakra without knowing the risk of doing so. That said, Yokorobi primarily uses the great amount of chakra at her disposal to fuel her [Lightning Release: Taser Technique], allowing her to maintain the effects for extender periods of time without tiring at all.

— [Sage Mode Trainee] Yokorobi is one of the few hawks who chose to pursue training in the art of Senjutsu under the tutelage of the Elders. While still young, Yokorobi is tasked with helping and training new human sages, specifically how to gather and access the special nature chakra. As a result Yokorobi can gather [1 rotation of Incomplete Sage Mode] for every [2 rotations of gathering nature chakra] and share it with a sage in question by roosting on their head; due to her young age, Yokorobi can be knocked off her perch, thus requiring her to restart the gathering process over. As well, due to a relative inexperience with gathering nature chakra, Yokorobi has a limit of [6 rotations of gathering] for a max of [3 rotations of Imperfect Sage Mode]. [Appearance] Gaman is a silver-gray hawk with a long, metallic blue neck, legs, and tail. Measuring ten meters [10m] with a fifteen meter [15m] wingspan, she is a fierce sight to see on the battlefield. She has yellow eyes, a pointed beak with several pointed teeth, and a triangular crest on her head. There are red feathers under the sheaths that cover her sharp wings, and each feather can be moved independently. Gaman's wings are hollow, as well as tattered and bashed in from repeated battles, but once a year her battered wings grow back completely, restoring the cutting edges. Gaman's feathers are sharp enough to be used as blades. Her feet have three toes on them, two in front and one in back, while her tail has hooked ends.

[Personality] Gaman is smooth and slick in her dealings, having a bit of pride but most is able to push it down for business. She is a joker on a good day while completely serious and professional when it comes to other matters. While she is able to enjoy light-hearted matters, she is no stranger to the death and destruction that follows her wings.

[Abilities]
— [Windrider] As one of the few hawks in the Saseishi caste who is more focused on a strong defense, Gaman trained her body to become incredibly agile in the sky. While not abnormally strong or fast, she displays a high level of agility, proving to be excellent at dodging, avoiding and evading when engaging in combat. Her reflexes are better than that of most people or her skill level. It is now instinctual for Gaman to dodge and evade; her body is well conditioned to a degree that it moves by itself, almost as if she has a sixth sense to feel oncoming attacks. In that aspect only, engaging Gaman in physical combat, specifically Taijutsu and Bukijutsu, can prove to be incredibly frustrating, and equally as physically and mentally taxing to those unprepared to deal with her.

— [Steely Down] Unlike others in the contract, Gaman sought to protect through power. Her body is stronger and more durable than others. She is able to withstand heavy damage with ease unlike her family. Her dull, gray plumage makes her less of an obvious target, allowing her to intercept attacks on her summoners. More specifically, due to playing in the harsh sand, cacti and heat of the desert, Gaman's feathers have been toughened over time. While still light, each feather retains a hardness akin to steel, granting her a natural armor. Non-chakra enhanced blades tend to bound off of her body, save for when they slip by and through her feathers. When let loose with a flap of her wings, these feathers can also be launched like countless spear-like arrows, pinning and impaling those whom the quills strike. Due to the nature of these feathers, they can easily pierce skin, muscle and bone, and even wood if in close range [0-15m] but will have more difficulty penetrating harder substances like stone and steel. Gaman has known to be able to accurately aim these feathers across vast distances, even when several hundred meters in the air. This is often used as a bully tactic to overwhelm a target.

[Appearance] Jihi possesses colorful plumage reminiscent of a masked wrestler's costume. Stadning at twenty meters [20m] tall with a thirty meter [30m] wingspan, Jihi is an intimidating hawk to face in close combat. His head curves into a beak-shape in the front, but his mouth is located in a white patch under the beak's curve. He has a blue-green mask-like marking across hia face, an orange blaze running from his forehead to the back of its neck, an orange ring around each eye, and a small, red patch at the tip of his beak. There is black space around Jihi's eyes, which are yellow with paler yellow sclerae. On the back of his head are two rectangular, tassel-like feathers. His red, cape-like wings have blue-green undersides and are connected to his feathery tail. Near the tip of each wing is a three-clawed hand. Jihi's front is white with a line of red along his neck and the top of his chest. He has small, yellow feet with three toes each.

[Personality] Jihi is very serious in his nature. He enjoys the mystery of gaining information and knowledge; he has a great thirst for knowledge. Whether it is gossip or transient knowledge of jutsu or physical regiment, he desires it all. He is greedy and some consider that he would do anything for knowledge.

[Abilities]
— [Superstrength] As a result of pushing himself to peak conditioning, Jihi possesses tremendous sheer physical strength able to smash through stone and create craters on the ground with a punch. He is also able to lift grown men with one arm without any physical effort. A testament to his strength is the fact that he continuously trains with twenty-five-hundred kilogram [2500kg] weights on each limb, and remains unaffected by the immense weight even in battle, able to keep up with shinobi of equal level and experience without them noticing. If he takes the weights off and is able to use the full force of his strength, Jihi can punch through steel and lift boulders with adequate effort.

— [Superspeed] Jihi's sheer speed is hard to match. He is very fast with his attacks, such that it is difficult for dojutsu follow his actions; only two-tomoe Sharingan or higher are able to accurately track his movements.. His speed is so tremendous that he is able to quickly close the gap between himself and an opponent. Jihi can easily close tremendous gaps of distance in the blink of an eye while remaining undetected. By focusing a minute amount of chakra into his legs and feet or any portion of his body he wishes to move at this speed, Jihi then releases this chakra in a burst, greatly enhances his speed beyond the usual limits of a human Taijutsu specialist. Jihi can use his great speed, combined with his immense strength, to intimidate enemies and outflank easily outflank slower opponents. Jihi's speed is such that to untrained eyes or those who are not practitioners of the Taijutsu arts, the hawk would appear to simply teleport from one location to the next instantly. While he is quite fast, Jihi is not without equal; naturally, Taijutsu sole specialists of equal or greater rank can keep up with Jihi's speed with minimal effort.

[Appearance] Shōrei is a large silver-white hawk with blue undersides of slightly varying tones. Measuring thirty meters [30m] tall with a forty-five meter [45m] wingspan, Shōrai is a grand hawk to behold; unlike most of the Saseishi hawks, Shōrei is able to bend the ends of his wings like hands, allowing him to pick up objects, Arguably one of the larger summons, Shōrei is not a force to be taken lightly. Unlike his fellow caste mates, his beak is ridged, although he has pointed teeth on his lower jaw. Shōrei's head has a point to the back, while his eyes have pointed blue or black spikes on them. He has a long, slender neck and a smooth, streamlined body. Dark blue or black plate-like protrusions run down the length of his back, with two smaller, more pointed protrusions on the end of his tail. Shōrei can fold back these plates to increase his speed.

[Personality] Shōrei is very much a go with the flow type of individual He enjoys the adventure and the bustle of travel and city life, as well as studying people and their own mannerisms. He is a soft-spoken hawk, though he enjoys a good intellectual talk and debates that come along. Shōrei only answers to his summoner, and as such can cause a bit of concern when engaging in combat with multiple allies.

[Abilities]
— [Gale Bringer] Armed with massive wings Shōrei can direct air currents to his will to carry her long distances or to blow aside physical elements and weapons with relative ease. When landing or taking off Shōrei creates little windstorms with each flap of his wings, sending anything not fastened to the ground hurtling into the air, potentially creating unwanted hazards for opponents to deal with.

— [Chakra Shroud] When summoned, the chakra used to call forth Shōrei is used to saturate his body, giving him a chakra signature identical to the summoner's, making the sensing of the summoner incredible difficult to distinguish when used in conjunction with the [Continuous Fog Technique].

[Appearance] Shinota's feathers are predominantly gold and red, with yellow tail-feathers, a white underside, and green feathers at the tip of her wings. Like her rival and mate Shōrai, Shinota measures thirty meters [30m] tall with a forty-five meter [45m] wingspan. She has a green stripe on her neck, a yellow beak, black rings around her red eyes, and a feathered, yellow crest on her head. Shinota is arguably the most beautiful hawks within the caste, possessing wings that are appear multi-colored like a rainbow, Her feet and legs are darkly colored while she has the similar three front and one-back talons of the hawks. 

[Personality] Shinota is a prideful and narcissistic creature. There is no room to argue when Shinota declares what is best. She may give the orders in a summoner-summons relationship, but she is one of the most knowledgeable of the contract. Strict and a bit of a perfectionist, Shinota has the right to boast, since no one has ever died on her watch. She firmly believe her colorful wings can draw attention and ease the abilities of the others in hallucinations and slight of hands of the summoner. She is quite vain, believing that she is the most beautiful within the contract and can be seen as argumentative by others.

— [Immense Vitality] 
Shinota is a large being and with being large, comes an equally large target on her back. Unlike other hawks, Shinota he has the ability to regenerate lost appendages. This high regeneration is fueled by her own chakra; an inane ability to use her own chakra to boost her own natural healing capabilities. External damage can be regenerated at a high rate while internal damage regenerates a bit slower than the outside. Naturally, however, fatal blows cannot regenerated from, and would otherwise cause her to be sent back to Raptor's Peak where she would require serious treatment from Hikari, the Saseishi caste's medic. 

— [Flames of Life]
Shinota, in contrast to Sh unwavering dedication to Katon, combined with her ferocious personality, has manifested in the flames she produces in a unique way. Much like any flames produced by chakra, Shinota's fire techniques are hot and fiery when met with inorganic substances, burning a vibrant neon blue color, able to easily melt stone and steel with minimal effort. However, her flames produce a wholly different effect on organic organism such as animals and people; instead of burning away the physical matter of an organic material, Shinota's flames instead burn away the spiritual energy. While equally as painful as being burnt by physical flames, Shinota's flames act in a similar way to draining one's chakra, literally burning away one's chakra supply while leaving a target otherwise completely unharmed physically. That said, Shinota does not benefit from the drained chakra, in that she cannot replenish her own with the drained chakra of a victim; once drained, the chakra is gone in a very similar fashion to if it had been used for any other chakra-draining technique.

[Appearance] Hikari's has a skyblue body with wings covered in fluffy, cotton-like white feathers. She often folds her wings behind her, obscuring her back. Measuring thirty-five meters [35m] tall with a fifty-three meter [53m] wingspan, Hikari flies rather gracefully for her size. Two long, blue plumes extend like streamers from the back of her head. She has a short, hooked beak and prominent cheek patches, both of which are white. Additionally, she has beady, black eyes, which seem to contrast her kind and caring nature. Hikari has a long neck and short legs protruding from her fluffy body, with blue feet each with four toes, three claws forward and one backward. The tail is made up of five feathers, the outer two being longer than the inner ones.

[Personality] A calm and collected, elegant hawk, whether in the heat of battle or dealing with a patient in critical condition, Hikari is always level headed and a consistent worker. — [Chakra Control] 
Hikari's has an air tight control over her chakra. She is never using too much or too little - her body won't allow it and causes this exceptional phenomenon naturally. Most of the time, she doesn't realize this and thus finds herself surprised when others mention the difficulty of certain things she pulls off. This control allows her to narrow her amount of jutsu down to a few more than those who do not have this capacity. It also allows her to learn and execute jutsu and techniques more easily: she understands what she is doing with her chakra and how to harness it through hand seals, concentration and meditation. This is. especially useful when applied to her medical ninjutsu.

— [Medical Knowledge] As one of the oldest summons of the contract, just below Isshin, Agana, and the Sages, the sheer vast knowledge and talent Hikari possesses regarding medicine is almost immeasurable. Hikari has surpassed just being a genius in her field of study but a forerunner in new medical research and techniques. She has studied the body first hand; her knowledge was gained from tearing apart bodies and cutting into them to study. Not only does she study and continue to expand her knowledge, Hikari thirsts to create the best kind of natural medicines. Combined with her knowledge, experience and chakra control, she is quite the force on and off the battlefield. With her experience Hikari is capable of using various medical techniques and apply them with deadly use. 

— [Toxicology Expert] Hikari's know-how of poisons is quite impressive, putting her on par with some of the best poison experts the shinobi villages have to offer. As a skilled medic, Hikari gained her experienced experimented on unlucky rodents and other animals, discovering the various aspects of dozens of poisons. She has experimented on the effects of poisons and antidotes, and studied the potency when diluted. Her research is solely for the pursuit of keeping the Saseishi caste and potential sages in perfect health, a very useful skill on and off the battlefield. Not only is she capable of recognizing most poisons in her own body, she is equally capable of recognizing symptoms in others as well. In many other cases, if a poisonous substance were to be shown to her, Hikari would be able to synthesize a basic antidote that could stave off the worst of the poison's effects until medical attention could be given. Hikari is immensely skilled at treating diseases, poisons, and injuries; perhaps the most impressive application of HIkari's toxicology knowledge is her ability to counteract most poisons she comes into contact with using natural remedies by using her own body parts as catalysts for incredibly potent, vitamin and mineral rich supplements. As a result of her long-term training and exposure to countless poisons, Hikari is immune to generic poisons; more powerful poisons still have an effect on her, albeit taking twice as long to effect her.

Dōjō | 同情

[Appearance] Dōjō is a large, dark blue hawk with a red breast and face. Measuring forty meters [40m] tall and a wingspan of sixty meters [60m], she is one of the largest summons in the contract. A crest of feathers sweeps back from the top of her head and a blue stripe separates the red markings on her head and chest, while her underside is white. She has small, narrow eyes, a pointed, yellow beak, and red feet with black talons. Each foot has three forward-facing toes and one pointed backward. Two long, pointed feathers with red tips form its tail, and are an indication of good health when standing up straight. Dōjō's wings taper to a sharp point. She takes great pride in her glossy plumage, and often cleans her wings.

[Personality] Dōjō is a flighty individual, hyperactivity and excitement running through her. She desires adventure and stories of far away lands; very simplistic in her views and desires, aiming to achieve her own happiness before anyone else. She is considered to be quite the gossip, especially with her abilities and jutsu. While she is very simple in her wants and desires, Dōjō has little in the way of a negative outlook or pessimistic side almost a blissful ignorance.

— [Large Chakra Pool] Contrary to her younger caste mate Yokorobi, Dōjō's chakra pool is immense and it shows. A veteran in combat, Dōjō primarily uses the great amount of chakra at her disposal to fuel her Lightning Release techniques, allowing her to barrage and potentially overwhelm her opponents by firing off dozens of attacks without any signs of tiring at all. Unlike Yokorobi, however, Dōjō is prone to be trigger-happy, and can very easily waste her chakra if she's not keep in check. 

— [Sage Mode Adept] Where Yokorobi is still rather young regarding the art of Senjutsu, Dōjō has trained quite a bit longer with the Elders, and while not at all a sage, she boasts a great competence concerning the wielding and gathering of nature chakra. As a result of her immense size, Dōjō makes use of the [Transformation Technique] when fusing with human Sages, reducing herself to the size of an adult red-tailed hawk, measuring roughly sixty-five centimers [65m] tall with a one meter [1m] wingspan. As an experienced sage Dōjō can gather a great deal more nature chakra than her younger counterpart; however, due to her hyperactivity and rather excitable personality, her ability to gather nature chakra is very brief. Dōjō can very quickly gather [18 rotations of Imperfect Sage Mode] or [9 rotations Perfect Sage Mode] instantly; however this can only be used once per thread and once done temporarily limits Dōjō's ability to gather nature chakra. Otherwise, for every [2 rotations of gathering nature chakra], Dōjō can gather [40 rotations of Imperfect Sage Mode] or [20 rotations of Perfect Sage Mode]. While much more experienced than Yokorobi, Dōjō still tires easily due to her inability to focus for a long period of time; as a result, Dōjō's limit of gathering nature chakra is [5 rotations] per thread. 

— [Glass Cannon: Speedster] Dōjō is built for speed and flexibility, not strength or stamina. She's not the type of combatant that can take many hard hits and come back for more; on the contrary, she's more of a glass cannon type: incredibly powerful in her own right, but faced up against someone with comparable strength, she's got to be faster, hit more, dodge more, if she wants to win. Fortunately for her, that's exactly what she's good at.

[Appearance] Rakkan, like Ai and Shingi, is a grayish-brown, hawk with small, red eyes and a thin, yellow beak with a black tip. There is a circular white patch on his forehead, with larger white markings cover the front of his throat and chest, separated by a black ruff encircling the shoulders. A red-tipped, black crest extends over Rakkan's head, nearly reaching the tip of his beak. Humorously, Rakkan is very fussy about the shape of this comb, which he uses to appear larger and frighten enemies. As one of the older summons in the caste, Rakkan boosts a mighty size, reaching fifty meters [50m] in height with a mighty seventy-five meter [75m] wingspan. His five, black-tipped tail feathers can be freely moved using muscles near his rump to adjust his flight path with ease. Rakkan possesses powerful legs tipped with black talons, and equally powerful wings that allow him tot fly effortlessly while carrying large cargo. 

[Personality] Rakkan has strong personality in the way he acts and moves; he is extremely decisive and head-strong. Being one of the older summons, he is very much the big-brother figure to the rest of the flock. He is an able learner and teacher, believing one is never to old to learn or teach; there is always something to learn, even in every day life. He tends to take care of the younger hawks, guarding and watching quietly. He is a protective individual and does his utmost to keep that going. He is a strong fighter as well as pursuer for long and fast hunts.

[Abilities]
— [Immense Durability] Rakkan holds the self-proclaimed title as the strongest shield in the Saseishi caste due to his extremely durable bodies. His hide-like feathers are as hard as iron, tempered by the constant heat, rough sand, and cacti he calls home at Raptor's Peak. While extremely resilient, Rakkan is also extremely hard to damage. Many weaker attacks which usually would do damage to other fighters if they lock on, usually only graze him, able to deflect cuts from regular, unspecialized weapons, punches from average hand to hand combatants and survive some otherwise lethal techniques at a surprising rate. If an opponent is unaware of Rakkan's durability and find oneself trying to blind side him, the attacker in question may likely find Rakkan's body is capable of surviving many thousands of pounds of weight, force or pressure. He can even take some direct hits from Jōnin-level ninja head on, barehanded and survive to be able to tell the tale. Equally-strong summons or. familiars, damaging attacks, and weaponry are required to truly cripple the Guardians.

— [Titanic Strength] Rakkan's strength is near the pinnacle of what a summons can achieve, allowing him to break the bones of an average human or withstand a punch that would normally break a person's bones while having no trouble splintering wood, pulverizing stone and even tearing steel to shreds with his talons. Given the opportunity, this strength can also be used to lift an incredibly amount of weight or block strikes from other incredibly strong individuals. His limbs able to break or sever bones and limbs as easily as any tree, rock, and most weapons or armor. Rakkan can effectively carry almost 100 tons and still effectively move at speeds matching jōnin taijutsu secondary specialists. As for strength there are very few things that cannot be crushed by his talons, be it metal, wooden, rock, human, animal alike; steel is no exception. His leg muscles are unbelievably powerful, as a single direct strike is considered to be a death sentence to all but the most durable of humans, able to  shatter and hollow out bedrock, and even pulverize steel into a malleable putty-like texture. 

— [Lightning Speed] If Jihi's speed was hard to match, Rakkan is unmatched in the Saseishi caste. He is very fast with his attacks, such that it is difficult for dojutsu follow his actions; only three-tomoe Sharingan or higher are able to accurately track his movements. His speed is so tremendous that he is able to quickly close the gap between himself and an opponent. Rakkan can easily close tremendous gaps of distance in the blink of an eye while remaining undetected. By focusing a minute amount of chakra into his wings or any portion of his body he wishes to move at this speed, Rakkan then releases this chakra in a burst, greatly enhances his speed beyond the usual limits of a human Taijutsu specialist. Rakkan can use his great speed, combined with his immense strength, to intimidate enemies and outflank easily outflank slower opponents. Rakkan's speed is such that to untrained eyes or those who are not practitioners of the Taijutsu arts, the hawk would appear to simply teleport from one location to the next instantly. While he is quite fast, Rakkan is not without equal; naturally, Taijutsu sole specialists of equal or greater rank can keep up with Rakkan's speed with minimal effort.

[Appearance] The guardians are massive in size, the largest in the contract bar Isshin and Agana, measuring sixty meters [60m] tall with a ninety meter [90m] wingspan. Red-orange plumage covers their heads, wings, and most of their chest and back before tapering off into a flame pattern. Their undersides and hindquarters are gray and the tips of their long, pointed wings are black. In order to use the [Three Jewels Suction Crushing] technique, each Guardian has one of the three necessary seals emblazoned on their chest in a brilliant, shiny gold ink; Ōji bears the symbol for buddha (仏, butsu), Akaji bears the symbol for dharma (法, hō), and Kuroji bears the symbol for sangha (僧, sō). Orange spots speckle their undersides. Large yellow talons extend from the shaggy feathers on their legs. The Guardians have a pointed crest atop each of their heads and black-and-yellow mask-like markings around their eyes. Their black beaks are hooked with a yellow cere. They also have long black tail feathers marked with three yellow V-shapes. The tails ends in two points and have another feather sticking out of the base on each side, resembling of the fletching on the end of an arrow.

[Personality] Ōji, Akaji, and Kuroji, better known as the Pillar of Guardians, are very intelligent beings; powerful females, even in the Saseishi hawks caste system, the Guardians are worldly in their experience and knowledge. At times, they are very much the snarky and sly mistresses of the flock. They are very wary of signing new summoners to the contract, and often voice their displeasure, and despite Agana's best attempts, the Guardians are ultimately tasked with deciding if an individual is worthy of signing the Saseishi contract. Deep down beneath all the slyness and snarky, cutting words is a small bit of warmth; they know well of the harsh lands of the Wind Country and the outlying countries. The Guardians have extended their faith to those who will serve well under them and extend that help to only one human. It is the Guardians that must be impressed by the a new signer; even if one gets their approval, the Guardians are difficult enough to impress to get them to the aid of a summoner.

— [Sealing Technique Virtuosos]
 The Guardians are incredibly skilled with conventional Fūinjutsu. Incredibly attentive to detail, their ability to discern a sea's purpose and functionality is only limited by time and distractions, and even then they are usually able to hazard relatively accurate, educated guesses on the fly if allowed to view a seal for only a few moments. As a trio, Ōji, Akaji, and Kuroji have learned to layer multiple seals to work in concert with one another; given enough time and preparation anything can be done - and making seals designed to work completely separately from one another is a completely different matter entirely, a fact the Guardians take fiendish delight in when concerning fūinjutsu traps, often hidden so subtly in their own seals that even other masters have difficulty identifying them and, by extension, disarming.

— [Stealth and Espionage Expert] The Guardians have a vast amount of skill and knowledge in espionage tactics. They are skilled in stealth, espionage, infiltration and reconnaissance. An asset to both the Saseishi caste and any Sage, the Guardians are able to gain entrance into the most secure facilities and well-guarded fortresses without any unwanted incidents. Specialists when it comes to infiltration and espionage tactics, the Guardians have even learned how to alter their own chakra signatures from the strongest sensors, able to appear as nothing more than common mouse.

— [Aura of Collectivism: Thought Sharing] As sisters, but even more so triplets, the Guardians share a unique bond rare in the ninja world. Deeply connected, each of the Guardians exude an aura that connects and binds them together; as a result the Guardians able to communicate with nearby sentient beings (regardless of whether the subject is animal or human) within three kilometers [3km] mentally by outwardly projecting their thoughts across extended distances. This allows the Guardians to talk to each other and their summoner without the need for verbal communication. The trio is able to. discern who within the range is affected; should other parties such as allies be in range, the Guardians can "nudge" at their minds in an effort to include said allies in the mental connection communication. Ultimately, the third party decides whether or not the Guardians can communicate with them. The Guardians can share their mental link with a maximum of four individuals; the summoner and three others.

Isshin | 一新

[Appearance] As the patron and a boss of the Saseishi caste, Isshin is the second largest hawk, clearly shown by his monstrous size, measuring seventy-five meters [75m] tall with a one-hundred-thirteen meter [113m] wingspan. Isshin sports vibrant green plumage with long, red-and-black tipped white wings that cover most of his front. Underneath his wings are designs that resemble red eyes. Along with his main green coloration, Isshin's plumage has accents of black, yellow, and red. He has almond eyes, a long, slightly hooked beak, and two long, red feather crests. Isshin's feet are slightly different than that of the rest of the caste, having only two toes in front and one in back. When standing still Isshin often can be mistaken for one of the totems made famous by the Aiel clan. 

[Personality] Isshin is one of the oldest summons still under contract; contrary to his sister Agana, he is a cold and noble being. He seems to have little to no time to be wasted on those who wish to joke around and not take their training serious. He believes there is a time and place for silliness, training is not that place. Time is precious and when nothing is being done the time is wasted and wasted time could lead to inferior abilities leading to mistakes and injury. While his sister represents the steadfast body, Isshin is the steadfast mind, and is stalwart in combat until the very end.

— [Chakra Control] Isshin's chakra control is considered to be the best within the Saseishi hawk caste, even besting Hikari, considered "absolutely perfect." His chakra control is so precise that he no longer wastes any chakra even in the most strenuous moments. Due to this many believe him to have a vast chakra pool comparable to his sister Agana; while his chakra pool is only average his chakra control allows him to manage his chakra to the point that he has been known to outlast those with much larger chakra pools. The dexterity that he has with chakra is unbelievable, and further adds to the strength of his genjutsu, as the strength of the flow of his chakra can be considered unprecedented. It also serves as the source of his fine sensory perception of chakra. When using Genjutsu, Isshin doesn't really need to use hand seals, but he does employ gestures for certain techniques, requiring wing-motions for others. 

— [Layered Illusions] An ability to flow multiple groups of chakra through a target's brain, simultaneously, a feat that requires absolutely perfect chakra control to pull off. The result is a style of genjutsu combat that completely overwhelms and degrades the target's sense of consciousness — not just their senses of taste, touch, sound, smell, and sight, but their conscious ability to sense, perceive, interpret, and comprehend reality. This is achieved through spreading the target's senses so thin with various, blended, and compounded perceptions that the brain loses its grasp on not just reality, but also on the very illusions that caused the disruption, leading to an inability to perceive illusion from truth. The result is great mental trauma and strain, surpassing the damage potential of torture techniques such as waterboarding, where even after the illusions are broken, the brain still has trouble with trusting its senses, usually replaying the scenes from the illusions as biochemical hallucinations, especially when reflecting on the memories, and most especially once said memories are triggered by stimuli (such as, say, a fireball launched towards them triggering memories of an illusion of burning alive; or even simply feeling heat radiation). In fact, most of the time, the senses dull severely immediately following the illusions as a part of a self-defense mechanism to prevent the replaying, a condition that could be considered a type of severe depersonalization experience. Moreover, as the layering occurs, the chakra groups eventually merge together into one, making the overall result significantly harder to overcome when compared to the power of any one of the composite Genjutsu on their own.

— [Deity of Illusion] Having practiced illusions for nearly a century, it is accurate to describe Isshin's grasp of Genjutsu as godly — a being whose dominion is the mind, and whose tongue is the art of illusion. For various reasons, his Genjutsu are much more difficult to break than normal, carrying the strength of iron in their grip; many would find themselves in a difficult situation to counter him without some serious self-harm, as even his lower-ranked techniques give sufficient trouble to the average man. He focuses more so on the quality of the art, recognizing that Genjutsu is at its best when either it is distracting the opponent or else crippling them. For this reason, Isshin has developed an important skill in the area, exploiting the hidden potential of the illusionary arts to make the mind into its own worse enemy: After deep studying of mental conditions, psychedelics, and the "Hell Viewing Technique", in particular, Isshin has learned how to perform all of his Genjutsu in a such a way that the mind of the target produces all of the details, according to its own experience, knowledge, and imagination; making each of his Genjutsu as strikingly realistic to the next person as to the previous person. This realism is what gives his Genjutsu their severe crippling power, producing mental strain and trauma that can be considered wholly unrivaled. Breaking his illusions is worse than waking up from a traumatic nightmare, where the body finds itself covered in sweat and struggling to regain proper sense of reality; where fear and pain and stress and fatigue wreck the brain's integrity nearly enough to cause a mental breakdown with his weaker techniques, while his stronger techniques are nearly enough to kill, though not quite. 

— [Potent Sensor] A formidable sensor, Isshin is able to locate and identify specific people for up to five kilometers [5m] actively, while passively this range reaches three kilometers [3km]; due to his lack of sight, his sense of touch and hearing have increased tenfold. His sensory perception is sharp enough to fight blind, and to differentiate between twins, cousins, clansmen, original vs transplanted organs, and so on. His hearing is capable of distinguishing the slightest rustling among the grass, the smallest sounds created by insects passing by and the lightest steps of any shinobi, while his feathers are capable of feeling currents change in the air, as well as feel the slightest textures to a greater precision than regular humans. Unlike his chakra sensing, his natural senses only actively reach one kilometer [1km] at best when focused, otherwise only having a range of five-hundred meters [500m]. A somewhat unique skill that Isshin developed to aid his Genjutsu is the ability to "read" techniques, analyzing their makeup as they are prepared and casted, granting him the ability to copy or to more easily counter enemy Genjutsu. It also grants the ability to roughly judge the scale of enemy ninjutsu, and the ability to differentiate between chakra natures within the body. Due to. his immense dedication to the art of Genjutsu, Isshin is easily aware of his sense of reality, as if by second nature. Having faced his own Genjutsu several times he has trained to recognize the slight shifts in perception that illusions cause, which manifests as a mild sense of depersonalization that takes Isshin out of the illusion, in a sense. Though this does not free him, it does help with recognizing Genjutsu. More generally speaking, his sensory ability also allows him a defense of sorts, on top of his natural aptitude in the field, making it difficult to fool him in this regard.

[Appearance] As the matron and boss of the Saseishi caste, Agana boasts the largest size of any of the contracted summons, measuring one-hundred meters [100m] tall with a whopping one-hundred-fifty meter [150m] wingspan. Agana sports dark red feathers on her back while her underside is covered in dark blue feathers. Her tail feathers are red, turning to yellow, and then blue at the tips. Agana's legs are long and thick with yellow feet that each have a digit facing backward, and three facing forward. Each digit is tipped by a short, thick, black claw. Her beak is long and thick with a blue cere; on either side of the cere are Agana's eyes, which are black with small white pupils. Sprouting from above the eyes are three large, white feathers. At the base of the feathers is a red, three-pointed design that is spread across all three feathers. On each side of her face, sprouting out from behind the feathers on her forehead, are an additional three white feathers pointing horizontally and downward. Behind the three feathers on Agana's head is a large plume of white feathers, extending most of the way down her neck.
 
[Personality] Agana is a soft spoken hawk, choosing her words and acts carefully. She is courteous and polite to all but once her flock is threaten, she becomes harsh and sneering. She is not one for unkind jokes or leading people astray, she demands respect and honor from those who serve her and the summoners she has contracted with. Agana is proud of herself and those under her, she willing gives praise to those who earn and deserve it. While her brother represents the steadfast mind, Agana is the steadfast body, and is stalwart in combat until the very end.

— [Immense Stamina]
 Daughter and eldest of the Saseishi Sages, Agana was blessed with an overwhelming amount of life energy, specifically physical, arguably comparable to that of a tailed beast. Due to the vast amount of stamina she has Agana is capable of outstanding feats that no human could ever hope to. achieve; she is more likely to succumb to physical exhaustion before mental exhaustion. This is primarily taken advantage of by her ability to use more physically-demanding techniques in quick succession without worrying too much on the drain in chakra it puts on her, as well as being fully capable of continuing to fight for as much as a full day before becoming physically tired. This does not reflect her mental health.

— [Unparalleled Tracker] As a great hunter Agana has honed her natural abilities as a predator to the utmost degree; in regards to tracking she is bested only be absolute best sensors and top predators (such as polar boards and lions) in the ninja world. Her vision is unparalleled in the Saseishi caste, putting even the most veteran, skilled ninja archers to utter shame, allowing her to easily track and eliminate enemies from great distances; while roosting Agana's eyesight allows her to clearly see up to five kilometers [5km], however when airborne her vision allows her to see a whopping twenty kilometers [20km] without straining her eyes. While Agana cannot sense chakra like Isshin can, her ability to track, trap, and stalk prey easily puts her on part with the best sensors in the world; she is a peerless hunter that has never failed to hunt down her prey as well as never needing to use much excessive force to bring them down. Her tracking ability is such that she can tell the difference between prints of a fat man and the prints of a man that was holding something heavy. As well, Agana possesses a strong understanding of how nature works and how to live off the land to best ensure the success and survivor of herself and her summoner, as well as the capability to identify when something has been tampered with in an unnatural way which could be a possible indicator towards her prey.

— [Legendary Tactician] Agana's battle experience exceeds any active shinobi less than a century old, putting even the most seasoned combatants to shame. Through her many decades of combat, she managed to not only survive, but also keep the Saseishi caste virtually unscathed throughout three world wars. Given how smart Agana is, this makes her a very dangerous opponent. Very much attuned to the flow of combat in all aspects, Agana is a difficult opponent to fool or trap. She's able to spot openings and vulnerabilities
with relative ease; simply recognizing one does not guarantee the woman will take advantage of it unless she is certain she can safely do so or otherwise doesn't have a choice. As the Matriarch, her intuition has served her extremely well over the years, and while plenty intelligent Agana has learned that trusting her gut typically pays off. By extension, ambushing her tends to prove particularly troublesome, and the longer a fight drags on the more difficult beating her will typically become as the Matriarch becomes accustomed to her opponent's fighting style and jutsu.

— [Broodmother] The epitome of Agana's motherly nature her chakra naturally manifests as a powerful calming aura. As the current Matron of the Saseishi caste Agana's love for the rest of the hawks is as deep as it is fierce; surrounding Agana's entire body is a fuzzy sunset red-orange-yellow glow. This aura extends outwards in a fifty meters [50m] radius, washing over anything within range with a sense of comfort, calmness, and happiness as long as an individual is near Agana. While in the range of Agana's aura even the most violent, hateful, and angry individuals are less inclined to attack; However should any individuals affected by the aura be maliciously attacked by another, the pacifying effects are temporarily negated. [Once per thread], Agana can increase the intensity of her calming aura one-hundred fold for [three rotations], allowing her to instill a sense of complete serenity in anyone within her aura's range; those affected will find themselves completely removed of any desire to fight as long as Agana maintains this effect, however Agana cannot engage in combat at all while maintaining this effect.

[Appearance]
— [Kin; left] Kin is a average-sized hawk with large wings, sharp talons, and a short, hooked beak, measuring one meter [1m] tall with a two meter [2m] wingspan. His glossy plumage is mostly brown with cream-colored underparts and flight feathers, while his head has a decorated crest that is nearly as long as his body. The center feathers of Kin's crest are yellow, while the outer feathers are red. The fan-like feathers of his tail are red or brown. His beak and legs are pink, and there three forward-facing toes and one backward-facing toe on each foot. Behind each eye is an angular black marking.

— [Gin; right] Gin is a bit larger than her mate, measuring one-and-one-half meters [1.5m] tall and a three meter [3m] wingspan. Her wingtips and tail feathers are tipped with blue while her body feathers white in contrast with Kin's cream. Her eyes are a vibrant ruby red with white pupils, an indicator of her blindness. Gin has an even more elaborate crest on her head, with a streamer-like red plume extending from a mane of yellow feathers. A red feather projects from the front of her crest with a single red highlight on the left side. 

[Personality] Kind is a word many would describe the Elders. Often referred to as the Twins, despite actually being mates, Kin and Gin are compassionate in their work and beliefs; a bit of a teacher in them with the patience to teach the most unruly. Long have the Elders had violence deep within themselves, tossed aside until one they care about is injured or hurt. As mates, Kin and Gin would move mountains to assist their family and comrades.

— [Massive Chakra Pool| Blessed with an overwhelming amount of chakra, the Elders easily possess enough to be compared to a tailed bijuu. This allows Kin and Gin the capability of outstanding feats no human could ever dream of accomplishing without dying in the process. This primarily is used to fuel their Sage Mode and Senjutsu abilities, however the Elders are equally as capable of using more chakra consuming techniques consecutively without worrying too much on the drain in chakra. As the oldest of the Saseishi caste and most skilled, it goes without saying that the sheer amount of chakra the sages possess collectively is frightening. Having trained from a very young age to improve their chakra pool. Kin and Gin collectively possess the ability to mold any chakra they create and freely transfer it to others to better fit an individual's specific chakra signature, able to temporarily restore an individual's own chakra pool; despite this, the sheer amount the Elders posses can never fully be gifted to a human as it result in too much strain and body expiring.

As the Elders and experts of Sage Mode within the Saseishi caste, Kin and Gin's grasp of Senjutsu is unparalleled by any of the hawks, matched only by the few other Elder Sage summons. Masters of Sage Mode, Kin and Gin can gather a great deal more nature chakra than their children Yokorobi and Dōjō and wield it with unparalleled precision and might. Having all but mastered the art of Senjutsu, Kin and Gin do not require any special technique to gather nature chakra for their sage, becoming so in tune with nature that they can do so as easily as they breath.  As a result Kin and Gin are able to gather natural chakra for a sage while the summoner is able to focus on whatever task may be at hand; on the other hand, while gathering nature chakra they cannot engage in combat themselves in any way. However, due to the concentration required to do, for every [two rotations] Kin and Gin can gather [18 rotations of Imperfect Sage Mode] or [40 rotations of Perfect Sage Mode]. 
[Crude Sensor] Completely in tune with nature, Kin and Gin are able to passively sense up to two-hundred fifty meters [250m], while active range increases to two kilometers [2km]. Similar to a sensory perception, Gin specifically can sense change in air currents using the long crest on her head. Trained in the art of Senjutsu for as long as they have been alive, Kin and Gin, despite not being true sensors, are able to read chakra signatures and feel excess chakra from left over jutsu. This allows them to know when others are present due to their chakra. Kin and Gin can differentiate between individuals through their chakra signature, relative skill level, and even tell their species.

— [Sealing Technique Geniuses] When it comes to Fūinjutsu, Kin and Gin are geniuses and masters without comparison in the art of sealing, something that needs great intellect and knowledge. The twins are considered legendary in their skill and are revered by alt the Saseishi hawks. They are both savage and refined in their application of seals in a similar fashion to that a combat medic; they are so gifted with seals that Kin and Gin have great ease with reading the written ones and analyzing those used right in front of them, being able to guess what is being made by the fluctuations of the opponent's chakra. In additional to their general know how, after decades of practice, the twins developed the impressive and incredibly powerful ability to adapt any seal and allow multiple to be laid on top of another without interfering with the effects of the seals underneath. When given the chance to stack multiple powerful seals on top of each other, the twins become a very frightening prospect to combat against. 

— [Masterful Subterfuge] Kin and Gin possess incredibly extensive knowledge and skill in many types and ways of stealth tactics, one of which is subterfuge. Their abilities in all manners of lying and even telling twisted truths are so refined that the Elders can keep secretes or form elaborate rouses even while engaged in intense combat. From body language to their own chakra signature fluctuations, even the beat of his heart. Kin and Gin can masterfully alter these perimeters in order for one to not discern his true motives. This is only the base level of what the Elders are capable of with their words. Due to years of lying, Kin and Gin have developed the ability to tell when a person is telling the truth or lying. They achieve this by looking for the key signs that they hide from others. However, because they are adept at masking these signs Kin and Gin are also able to pick up on people trying to alter their body language or manner of speaking, even knowing when a person is trying to slow their heart rate.
