Fuyumi would slow her stride, allowing the space between herself and the corpse that accompanied her, hearing the paces on the sand. From the distance she could hear the coming steps of the attackers. The Lady of the Yuki Clan halted entirely, and awaited for the inevitable sounds of claw and fang and maw from what she saw the man had turned and whilst invisible a cruel smile perched upon her lips as she made a single hand seal and the traps she had laid became sprung. The seals she had placed on the clones, hissed and smoked and in a blaze of light the corpses erupted in twin flames that lit like beacons through the thick and frosty mist, aiming to engulf the replicas and hopefully if the man had come to attack, him as well.

With the sweet aroma of seared flesh on her nostrils she began to wave a set of hand seals and used the burning remains of the corpse as a beacon from where to attack. Her hand signs quickly came together and her chakra once more came to life. The cold mist masked the coldness of her own chakra, the thickness of it masked what was going above it, as moisture began to concentrate and form into sharp and thin pellets, pale like glass and sharp like the most exquisite forged weapon, a single pulse of chakra commanded them and then they descended in the vicinity around the flaming corpse, aiming for the sand, the corpse and whatever had remained in that perimeter of fifteen meters, all looking to impale whatever was down there and end this fight once after all.

show me your Kuroto watched in both amazement and fear as his clones only landed a scratch on the clone before they were engulfed in a large flame, the same that happened to the lone clone who found the second one as well, and disappear from the field and return to him in the form of chakra. He was lucky to have not jumped right into the attack as well so he was spared being horribly burned but the next action to come was going to cost him. The two other clones who managed to catch the light of the flames and stood dazed at what they were seeing. It wasn't until the air around them grew more sinister and colder that their fur bristled and petals of ice suddenly fell upon them, turning them into smoke. The same petals fell upon Kuroto who was watching his own clones go up in flames and laid small scratches around his body as he hastily put signs together and found himself vanishing in a blur of sand as the icicles fell all around where he once stood. For a second everything was quiet until at the edge of the mist was something rolling along the sand. Kuroto, still transformed found himself on the edge of the mist rolling into the sand holding his breath as he scrambled to his feet and looked around him for one of the largest pillars of stone close to him that seemed to tower over the mist from his perspective and let chakra flow into his hands and feet as he climbed it to its almost flat top and keep his body low against it. The mist was still reaching him but he was sure that now he had some kind of safe haven from the ice queen as he gathered himself up as he lied there on his back with a grin of both excitement and fear across his muzzle. He was enjoying this even if it was pretty obvious he was outclassed in every sense of the word. Yet his heart still kept on beating and pumping blood into his system the more he thought about it. It was a suicidal wish just waiting to come true but he was sure he could hold it off for a few more minutes. Fuyumi heard the death pummeling blows the ice shaped daggers, all crashing against the sand, but never the sound of flesh being lacerated, of blood spilling in crimson and wetting the cold and dry sand. He had escaped her blow and around her there was void and the scent of cooking human flesh from the bits of meat from the corpses she had used. She was disappointed, she had come for a fight and had got nothing in return, no challenge, not the ecstasy of pain but the feeble burn on her leg that had been blocked through sheer concentration.

She released the mist, and as it did, it faded leaving only the gasps of the people that observed what had gone happened, the burning cadavers and nothing else, and the man turned beast that rested over a pillar of rock. She materialized from thin air, tired from the mummers play, intending to fight him in his terms if he wanted, knowing that she would come victorious. A stoic face with the tinge on disgust displayed, the beautiful woman stepped ahead, leaving the scattering mist behind.

"Is this all?"

The Head of the Yuki Clan said bitterly, he voice as cold as ice and as cruel as the breaking of icebergs.

"Is this all you posses?"

A surge of anger had come. Cold and clinical as she was and she began to weave hand-signs, the clouds above her turning dark and thick, as snow began to fall, but not from her technique, the sheer coldness of her chakra was finally released. She hopped from stone to stone until she reached the top of a pillar, and through the mist, Fuyumi saw the shape of her opponent. Arm coiled on the ready and pushed forward punching the frigid air before her, gathering the ice particles and launching them against the shinobi from iwagakure. A twilight of a thousand lights appeared as if the very northern lights had come and claim this section of the desert as light bounced through the snow particles. For her it was normal, but for the man it would be a blinding spectacle of lights, as the frigid blast advanced against him, heralding a cold doom.

show me your His ears twitched at the sound of the woman's faint voice through the mist as it evaporated and gave clear sight to everyone, Kuroto included as he rose to his knees and cupped his large paws to his muzzle. "It might be!" He echoed through the arena as he kept the chuckle and smile he had on him to himself. He knew he was thin ice (heh) already dragging this out long enough with no side really doing anything to the other. Well that wasn't true, every bone in his body was telling him to just run but he fought in his mind about wanting to see how fare he could go. How fare he could push the envelope without giving himself a massive cut. Yup, thin ice. His ears twitched again as he heard the clatter of feet against stone and looked down from his perch to see the woman climbing up the stones around him to be level before something odd began to happen. Snow seemed to be falling from the newly formed darkened clouds above him. His fur bristled again at the nip of cold air that started to surround them as he focused on the woman. It was apparent to him that she was the cause for all this weird weather thanks to all of her jutsu being as deadly as she was. Of course he wasn't going to wait around for her to pull anymore out, of course that was a little too late of a thing to promise as he noticed something about the air around her as she weaved together signs. He rolled off his pillar and clung to a side of the pillar that faced away from the woman putting a wall of stone between them just as a light blinded his eyes and the howling of winds roared in his ears as he planted his feet against the side of the pillar and sprinted down back onto the sand. At least that's how it looked, as he rain he weaved together handseals for a jutsu he had been missing the timing with and swung around the pillar aiming to jump at the one the woman's was sniping him from and let his fingers twitch and curl into fists as if he managed to get onto the pillar, run up it and deliver a swift uppercut punch if he made it to the top with the woman. The lambent of the northern lights faded and with it the harshness of the cold eased, but the snowing that had been produced by releasing her own chakra did not relent, but maintained its own steady pace, the snowflakes would come by and penetrate the deep freezing mist. For what was cold for people, was like a warm summer breeze to her. But even as the attack had failed to strike, she knew the man was close, she heard the steps on the rock, as how loose stones were pried away from the weight of something that moved close to her. The persistent cur did not know when to surrender, not did he knew when he was outmatched. She would educate him.

In her invisibility, another smile sprung and her hand dove to the inside of the medical pouch that hung from the lower part of her back. Her finger touched a cold metal and glass in a shape that was all too familiar to her. Her fingers enclosed on the object and made a fist, delicately holding it before crouching and with the appropriate strength, tossed the cylindrical flask unto the cold surface of rock, with every rotation the sound of metal, glass and liquid would be heard in the deep of the mist.

As Fuyumi began to weave a set of hand signs, from the metallic edges of the flask, a miasma of a light purple color began to emerge. A sweet scent began to fill her nostrils overpowering the stale aroma of desert and the aromatic stench of seared and death flesh. And then, the flask broke against a stone, a hiss was heard and from it a cloud of sweet and painful death emerged. She finished her seals and the smile was a wide as her features allowed, and a single thought flourished in her mind. Breath, boy, breath.

The strangler is a poison difficult to create and rather costly. First obtaining larkspur, the leaves and petals are picked and aged. After that the aged and dissected leaves are placed in wash of citric, natural poison, sugar water and rare spices until the leaves dissolve and the brew retains a light purple color after which it can be allowed to crystallized for storage or kept into a canister or bomb that would disperse the poison through the air.
ABILITIES:
As its name suggest the strangler deprives air from the potential victims. In its liquid and airborne form it causes the muscles of the victim's throat to clench tightly and strangle the windpipe preventing air from entering. Upon breathing or ingesting the sweet scented mixture, the target senses and irritation on the throat, followed by light coughing and then more intense coughing as as the turns pass, concluding when the windpipe has been permanently shut and the face of the affected individual turns purple.

The effects follow as such after being ingested by the enemy. During the first post following the ingestion begins the irritation on the throat which by the second would take the form of coughing. In the third post would the intense coughing begin, setting in panic into the enemy and by the fourth the windpipe would be tightened by the neck muscles setting in asphyxia, likely killing the opponent.

show me your His clawed fist reached nothing as he swung at pure mist above the tower of stone. He let out a low growl at the frustration of not being able to see yet still smell the woman. That's when the sound of glass against stone reached his ears and his senses tightened on the peak before him. Once his feet were flat against the rock strange smoke exploded around him and the beast was only a second too late to cover his mouth from inhaling whatever it was. Poison? Smokescreen? Its color and smell pointed towards the former and if so then he was in trouble. The beast put together hand signs and out from the smoke of death arose nine more of him who all nodded in agreement as they were summoned in a ring around the edge of the top of the pillar like they had already had some plan in mind. All ten wolves lifted a leg and slammed it down into the rock under their soft paws. Their paws slowly grew warm as the rock underneath them quickly split into small cracks and fire erupted piratically all around them. It turned the spire into a candle in the middle of the mist, like a beacon for all to know where to look in this arena. He wasn't too sure if the woman was truly still on the spire with him in the short moments it took for him to put this plan into action but it had worked once before. Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows, as well as their kekkei genkai. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained along with it's remaining chakra are passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added. This is especially true when used with Tajuu Kage Bunshin.

For it can be used to block projectiles and taijutsu attacks. The flames are about knee to thigh height depending on the skill of the user.

Be it a recessive trait from a blood ancestor or from his mother's side Kuroto has been given a deeper reserve of chakra than his siblings and average clan mates. With it he's able to keep on fighting using different techniques that he can string together without a whole lot of effort but the biggest use he's found of this lucky little trait is keeping up his clan's transformation technique going for longer than usual which benefits in both scaring foes and tearing them into little shreds.

Through the mist she heard and listened, she heard the poofing that clones usually made once they were casted or when they were dispelled. He might have inhaled the strangler but it would take some time for the effects to become noticeable. She supposed that she could play with him. She caught the glimpse of a stream of flames once more, racing to lick at her feet, to gnaw on her flesh and feast upon her clothing. The sharp reminder of pain that was the burn upon her leg reminded her of what had happened before, and thus she would not allow it to happen again. Her hands came together and the song of freezing and chill came back.

Her chakra became alive again and with a slap of her hand against the cold stone, it would begin. Around her being hexagonal pillars began to grow with a freezing snap around her, clashing against the incoming flames and halting their advance in that instant. The pillars expanded fast using the moisture of the air, expanding into walls that sought to trap within it icy self anything that in contact with. She saw as how the walls of blue ice advanced towards the clones. Her hands weaved another set of hand signs and she simply awaited.

show me your As the flames died as quickly as they came to life the wolfman could tell with a sniff that he missed with that barrage completely. If it had hit its mark then the smell of seared flesh would be all around him in the air. No such smell existed at all. Despite no body left burned the ground certainly was and the smoke got to the wolf who let out a small cough that really scratched his throat as he sniffed the air to try and track the woman down. She had to still be close by as he hoped he got her legs to keep her from moving too far. It would be the only positive thing his side of this fight would have over her. Even if she was disabled via her legs her hands were still free to create signs, the evidence? The walls of ice forming around the gaggle of clones. "Like hell this can hold me!" Shouted one of the clones who received a cheer from a few others as he and two others jumped up at the growing walls with closes fists. Upon closer inspection one would notice that those said fists flared with a small blue of chakra around them as they aimed a punch at the walls in three different sides in an attempt to break out in a show of their strength and if it worked then the pack of clones would spill out of the holes and onto the sandy floor beneath them. The boy was doomed unless she removed the poison herself, and at the moment the challenge that he had given her was of little entertainment to her, so why would she give someone so boring such a courtesy? There had not been enough bloodletting, and this time she would find her mark.

She pressed her lips together as the chakra was formed and mixed with the frigid air that populated her lungs and then she spun upon her own axis. The invisible sight emerged once more, and with its might it slashed through the cold mist, frigid air and the ice wall that had been formed out of her imprisoning technique. The scythe slashed at the ice, sliding through it with the ease of a hot knife through butter, aiming to sever the clones and as well, the young man from Iwagakure as well.

The user doesn't seem to be levitating unless under close inspection which they seem to be about 1.5 - 2cm off the ground. Apart from enhancing speed, this technique gives the user the ability to walk on water and evade projectile attacks with ease.

The chakras are then released as sharp waves of wind that are guided by the caster's head movements. These waves are extremely sharp, capable of cutting flesh down to the bone.

show me your Fists collided with hard ice and not even a crack was formed in the cold prison that the pack of wolves found themselves in. As the more stubborn ones kept wailing on the prison the real Kuroto was busy coughing and hacking with his throat starting to burn as he held it with a furry paw. It was an irritating pain that wasn't life threatening but the wolf knew that it was only a matter of time, with a second of respite given to him he managed to put it together that the strange mist he ran into was indeed poison. So now he had that to worry about and with how it was affecting his throat it didn't seem like a nice kind of poison. Well, nicer than what other poisons he could list off the top of his head. As his mind took the better part of his focus he was unaware of the attack that was heading his way until one of the clones suddenly let out a scream and exploded into smoke. And then another in that same second, then another, and another. Kuroto could only move around the tight space he was in to try and avoid whatever was coming at him but his clones were thinking the same thing and pushed him around as they copied him. Sure enough they were his undoing as he felt his shoulder suddenly be ripped open as he was falling onto the floor. Gripping his shoulder he could feel that the gash he know owned wasn't deep like to the bone but it was letting a lot of blood flow out of it. The rest of his clones were all cut down for the most part and all the smoke they released filled the prison giving him a shield to hide the injured wolf as it thought of only one thing; of how foolish both he and his village were going to look after this next play he had in mind. As it quickly cleared inside the broken cage the shinobi fought through a coughing fit and shouted into the hold of his prison, gripping his shoulder as he took a deep breath and let it out. "I SURRENDER!" Not his most glorious moment but he had to admit that he was bested in this fight. No point in becoming the woman's plaything any longer. And that was that. She heard his voice peering from the thick and cold mist. A look of disgust in her features, a sneer of barely contained fury and lust for blood and carnage. Slowly did the temperature of the area rose and the dark clouds scattered, dispersed by the commanding tether that was her frigid chakra. The thick blanket of mist faded like how smoke faded against the deep breeze and the translucent nature that had permeated her skin, her clothes and her entire being dissipated until Fuyumi stood in victory, but not victorious. Not enough blood had been spilled, not enough to appease her desire.

She gave a final look of disgust against the defeated boy of Iwagakure. If this was the best they could offer, why bother having them as allies. The Lady of the Yuki Clan turned away, her steps clicking against the stone, her gait arrogant and elegant in equal measures as a hand dove into the pouch that still hung from her waist, retrieving a vial, the sole vial that had the counter toxins necessary to purge the poison that slowly but surely enclosed the throat of the boy. With a careless toss, the woman would fling the vial towards the child. She had no love for Iwagakure but it would ruin her plans should Takara demand an apology. It was a laughable notion to think that she would bow before anyone, men or women.

"Disappointment."

It was the only words that escaped from her lips, cold and uncaring words.

The crowd was silent...the loud sounds of war had filled the stadium continuously and just like that...the dust had settled. Who would emerge from the storm that was this intense battle? None other than the shinobi who hailed from the Hidden Mist. She stood proudly...seemingly unphased from her confrontation. It was this attitude that would cause a few members of the audience to erupt into plethora of boo's and jeers. Slowly the one or two people who showed their disdain for the shinobi would become many. It would seem the villain of the tournament had been made...

"Your winner...Yuki Fuyumi of the Hidden Mist!", the referee would declare. The surrender came suddenly, some didn't even know what had happened until the referee made the official call. It was over. Yuki Fuyumi would advance for the Hidden Mist...and for the second year in a row the Hidden Stone would be eliminated in the first round.
