Don’t just weather the storm.
Dance in it.
Dark hues remained fixed on the strange kunoichi as she went on with her tirade of Iwagakure and their traditions. As well as the traditions she herself shared with individuals who didn’t have much growing up, and still don’t have a lot. That in itself wasn’t so bad, but the longer they were around the kunoichi, Kazui could feel there being something off about it, it was almost as if she were trying to pry classified information out of the two without them even noticing, but there were two things about Kazui herself - one, she never over-shared, that’s
if she shared at all. And two, she always paid extremely close attention to detail and read the situation/energy of everyone/everything around her. It was difficult to pull the wool over her eyes. Despite the fact that she could tell something was off, she didn’t want to jump to a conclusion. So instead of confronting the girl she would simply just return to her almost deadpan, stoic demeanor.
Leaning back in her seat, the girl would sigh softly beneath her breath. The train ride was long and it was weird being on one, she was ready to be at the destination already to say the least, but at least she had Suikazura to keep her company. Despite the fact that she didn’t really enjoy random people’s company, it was interesting speaking to someone from an enemy nation for the first time. Well, though their nations hated each other, no one was an enemy of Kazui just by being born and raised somewhere else, that was stupid. They had done her no wrong, so they were all neutral in her eyes.
As her eyes looked up towards the ceiling of the train, a thought would find itself floating around in the girl’s mind.
"You speak to us with such comfort as if our nations don’t hate each other.” The girl started as their destination was just up ahead, the train would begin slowing down as it began pulling into the station. Looking back towards the kunoichi, Suika would be able to see a change in the color of her eyes. They were now crimson in hue with black patterns around the irises.
"Tell me, do you see us as enemies?” She probed at the girl. It was a question that would determine what type of person she was. Did she follow along with the politics blindly? Or was she like Kazui, who didn’t care about the politics so long as there had been no wrongdoing against her or anyone she cared for. Either way, Kazui would know the truth if Suika decided to answer. No answer would give her what she wanted to know as well.
