It was a bit of a different topic from where she wanted to be, but it was learning of the different shinobi culture all the same. Something she could be entirely, and whole-heartedly happy about. She would clap at the explanation of the will of fire that the two gave, childish in a sense, very different from the way she seemed. It mixed well with the more spacey air she seemed to give off though. It would not inhibit her at all to continue though, taking in a deep quiet breath she would regurgitate her speech back at the two.
"That sounds wonderful. Konoha sounds like a very warm place to live, though I still prefer my rocks in Iwagakure! As for traditions, it depends on what you mean. Our's are mostly military, but recently Godiame-Sama has been making leaps in terms of how we go about a multitude of things, but talking on that would likely get me in trouble. If you mean specifically the tattoos, this is something only myself and a few others from the slum do, its a remembrance for those that are too poor to be be properly buried. In other words, I agreed to be a walking monument for the dead in my village. Though... I wasn't expecting to gather this many so quickly. Plague does that... sadly." Suikazura would state, talking as if there was no end to her breath. Her visible excitement plentiful before the two leaf shinobi. As she would talk she would motion with her body to speak in more genuine terms.
A moment of pause would come as she finished speaking and would look to the two, a genuine smile upon a rather blank-outed expression from realizing she had been a small tirade. They seemed nice enough to listen, or quietly invasive. She didn't care, she was learning, every detail of the two's body structure, their eyes shift movement, the way they reacted as she had spoken, behind her happy exterior she was absorbing them. The feeling of a predator hiding their fangs, a docile and well trained dog simply awaiting instruction.

Hearing the girl speak made Issei think about what it was like to be in the shoes of someone from her village, an enemy village. They had people just like themselves, and even though they might not have had the same exact traditions they had their own ways of honoring their home and other values. How unfortunate it was that the world could not be at peace because of all the politics that took place.

It was why he decided against partaking in any of those things. Trying to balance the two would drive him absulutely crazy. He already had issues dealing with his clans abilities. They were taking a toll on his emotions so it was much easier to just do what he was told. If it were possible he'd do well to try to befriend anyone who he felt actually cared about him. Kazui was definitely one of the few people he trusted, and knew that cared about him. He couldn't imagine interacting with enough people to create a monument of them on his own body.

"I think its.. Noble, of you to look out for those that might otherwise get overlooked."

Just looking at the girl he could feel some of his own weaknesses coming out. It was hard not to look at her and not think of a day where he might run into her on the battle field with the intent of taking her life, but yet here she was. Being open and honest about herself to total strangers. Strangers from an enemy village. He knew he'd see interesting people in the exams, but he never thought he'd have the chance to actually meet them.

Don’t just weather the storm.
Dance in it.

Dark hues remained fixed on the strange kunoichi as she went on with her tirade of Iwagakure and their traditions. As well as the traditions she herself shared with individuals who didn’t have much growing up, and still don’t have a lot. That in itself wasn’t so bad, but the longer they were around the kunoichi, Kazui could feel there being something off about it, it was almost as if she were trying to pry classified information out of the two without them even noticing, but there were two things about Kazui herself - one, she never over-shared, that’s if she shared at all. And two, she always paid extremely close attention to detail and read the situation/energy of everyone/everything around her. It was difficult to pull the wool over her eyes. Despite the fact that she could tell something was off, she didn’t want to jump to a conclusion. So instead of confronting the girl she would simply just return to her almost deadpan, stoic demeanor.

Leaning back in her seat, the girl would sigh softly beneath her breath. The train ride was long and it was weird being on one, she was ready to be at the destination already to say the least, but at least she had Suikazura to keep her company. Despite the fact that she didn’t really enjoy random people’s company, it was interesting speaking to someone from an enemy nation for the first time. Well, though their nations hated each other, no one was an enemy of Kazui just by being born and raised somewhere else, that was stupid. They had done her no wrong, so they were all neutral in her eyes.

As her eyes looked up towards the ceiling of the train, a thought would find itself floating around in the girl’s mind. "You speak to us with such comfort as if our nations don’t hate each other.” The girl started as their destination was just up ahead, the train would begin slowing down as it began pulling into the station. Looking back towards the kunoichi, Suika would be able to see a change in the color of her eyes. They were now crimson in hue with black patterns around the irises. "Tell me, do you see us as enemies?” She probed at the girl. It was a question that would determine what type of person she was. Did she follow along with the politics blindly? Or was she like Kazui, who didn’t care about the politics so long as there had been no wrongdoing against her or anyone she cared for. Either way, Kazui would know the truth if Suika decided to answer. No answer would give her what she wanted to know as well.
