The energy of her partner was something of a benefit, but Miho could sense that there was a lot more to it aside from her being overly talkative. There was a great gap there, usually meaning that either she was nervous or something more pressing was on her thoughts at a regular basis. A theory to say the least, but from what she had heard from Kazui, it was just how she normally was. Still, this wasn't the time for such thinking, and she'd imagine a therapy session during an exam was a poor choice of activities that they needed to be involved with.
Miho had limited knowledge of what to expect in this conflict, but she could only assume the same could be said for their opponents. Ayukawa had at least some information on her fellow Sunagakure nin, so perhaps that could be useful. Aside from that, the mist nin was an unknown. Testing the water would probably be the best bet here. But neither of them could be exposed for too long.
"Use whatever knowledge you have upon them. We can work to take them out one at a time and secure victory that way or split our efforts to deal with them both. Track my movements...what comes next will be the test of both our abilities..."
Speaking in a low tone, Miho would see the Proctor signal for them to begin, allowing for the young woman to swiftly perform a set of six seals. From there, a release of ash would emerge from her stomach, creating a haze of black across the field and covering their position.
The provided cover would allow for somewhat a difficult position for their targets to track them, or so she assumed. But that was only the start of this strategy. Looking to Ayukawa, an idea began to form within her mind as she began yet another hand seal.
In an instant, three shadow clones would appear along side her and soon shoot out from the cloud of ash as they began to cross the landscape.
While each one had a different set of planned skills, they would all be using techniques that could increase the speed of their charge, pushing their movements to be nearly undetectable. Though as they crossed the distance, two of them would split off from the path, moving to the right and left side of the field. From there, hands fly into a series of two seals as the two would release a stream of flames from their hands as create a border of flames to keep the two shinobi at bay from two fronts. Meanwhile, the one in the middle would charge inward,one hand drawing back to the Tanto at their hip, another creating a single seal in front of them as they would zip in toward Nagisa as they would seem to flicker out of frame, appearing behind the young man as they would apply chakra to the hand and slam it directly into the mist ninja's neck. While fatal in most cases, the amount of force in the blow would be enough to at least knock them out if made contact.
Meanwhile, still within the cloud of smoke, Miho would look toward Ayukawa as she held a calm expression, taking out a single pill from her pouch as she consumed it in mid-speech.
"That should buy us some time...I need you to change your appearance to look like me..I have an idea..."

Enhanced Chakra Control
Training within the land of Snakes has given more than just experience in Senjutsu, it as also taught her precise control over her chakra and it's supply available to her in exact moments of need. The Adachi clan was a prominent group of samurai that were established within Tetsu no Kuni(The Land of Iron), before the group transferred a select few to the Hidden Leaf Village as to their alliance to Konohagakure. These traits have been ingrained into the girl very soul as she carries their blood within her. As such, along with the training she received from her father and those in the clan, Miho has developed enhanced reflexes. Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows, as well as their kekkei genkai. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained along with it's remaining chakra are passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time.
