The aptly named Field of Thorns is between ten and fifty small needles thrown into the ground to function like caltrops. Anyone unfortunate enough to step on them, fall on them, or otherwise be pierced by them will find their chakra disrupted. NAME: Fukumen no toge [Veil of Thorns] RANK: D CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low CLASSIFICATION: Bukijutsu ELEMENT: N/A HANDSEALS: None REQUIREMENT: Nui Harisashi [Sewing Needle Stab]; Appropriately-sized Waruichi weapons. DESCRIPTION: When the specialized Waruichi needle-weapons are charged with their chakra, it can cause blockage and disruption in whomever they pierce. This technique uses seals within the Waruichi’s sleeves or upon their wrist to release a burst of needles to strike a target within throwing range, or out to about ten or twelve meters. Those pierced will find their chakra disrupted. NAME: Futago no toge [Twin Thorns] RANK: D CHAKRA USAGE: Low CLASSIFICATION: Bukijutsu ELEMENT: N/A HANDSEALS: None REQUIREMENT: Waruichi Hijutsu or nin-wire; Nui Harisashi [Sewing Needle Stab]; Appropriately-sized Waruichi weapons. DESCRIPTION: Futago no toge utilizes two large Waruichi needle weapons attached to either silk thread or nin-wire to control their movement and attack a target from both flanks. If pierced, the target will have their chakra disrupted by the Waruichi’s weapon. NAME: Ōkina toge [Great Thorn] RANK: C CHAKRA USAGE: Low CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: N/A HANDSEALS: Four REQUIREMENT: Nui Harisashi [Sewing Needle Stab]; Appropriately-sized Waruichi weapons. DESCRIPTION: Simple, effective; Ōkina toge surrounds half of a large Waruichi needle with silk and, much like an atl atl, fires it with extreme speed and potency. However, the silk does not release entirely. Instead, it remains connected. If, for some reason, the needle’s progress is impeded, the Waruichi can use their silk to push forward like a spear. When fired, the needle would likely devastate a mature oak tree, much less a human body. NAME: Saishū no yōsuru [Last Embrace] RANK: B CHAKRA USAGE: Medium CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: N/A HANDSEALS: Seven REQUIREMENT: Waruichi Hijutsu; Nui Harisashi [Sewing Needle Stab]; Appropriately-sized Waruichi weapons. DESCRIPTION: An enemy within a few meters of a Waruichi is often in danger, and one technique that can be particularly troublesome is Saishū no yōsuru. By weaving their silk around the flanks of their foe within ten meters, they box them in and then rapidly retract their silk to a central location, sometimes themselves. The silk within this trap is lined with seals containing numerous large Waruichi needles. Needless to say, if they somehow survive being crushed and impaled, their chakra will be disrupted by the needles.

Ba no toge [Field of Thorns] - this jutsu since it's a field of objects and thus a larger spread of the linked jutsu. I believe should be low cost instead of very low.

Furthermore the technique listed clearly states temporarily disrupts, which as this is the same rank AoE effect I want that to be clearly stated here too. That goes for all these jutsu actually, you're not a hyuuga so you really shouldn't be causing any sort of long term chakra network disruption / damage.

Fukumen no toge [Veil of Thorns] - since you're summoning the needles from a seal it should totally be a ninjutsu, but since I think most would classify Tenten as Buki over Buki/Nin. I'll be fine with this as buki, but do increase the chakra cost to low and put a restriction on the number of needles summoned per use of the jutsu. I'd suggest 10 or 15.
