Okingshi took a moment to prepare himself to be called. He gazed through his damaged gas-mask, which had been quickly repaired through improvised means the night before. The genin stretched his arms, swinging them in circles. A groan exited his lips as the freshly healed wounds strained, still tender from the previous round. As the doors began to open, Okingshi stepped forth, approaching the centre of the battlefield.

He looked at his opponent - it was Oorigami, Asahi; one of the Konohagure genin he met on the first day of his time in Kirigakure. "To think we'd be fighting. Let's make Yuuta proud." Okingshi said.

Thoughts rapidly spun through Okingshi's mind as he looked at his masked opponent - "is that a filtration mask" - he questioned. While he had seen Asahi's previous fight, the mask only seemed to provide aesthetic protection during it; although their last opponent never gave them the opportunity to reveal such an ability.

Waiting for the go ahead to begin the fight, Okingshi stretched his limbs again. They weren't as nearly healed enough to be participating in another fight and yet the Kirigakure higher ups seemed to think it was reasonable to throw the genin straight back into the fray only a day later. Okingshi gave a quick bow, showing his opponent and protoctor he was ready to start.

[Ōorigami Asahi]

SOMEDAY WE WILL CONNECT THE DOTS AND UNVEIL THE WORLD

A masked Asahi rose from the seat on his side when he was called with a small groan as well. His ribs had taken quite the beating the entire exam, but the medical team had healed him good enough to fight again. It was a good thing he had quit last round when he had.

He left his backpack again, with the 4, 3m segments of ninja wire still stuffed into his pouches. He entered the arena with his jacket tied around the waist of his hair matching pants, matched with a hair matching tank top.

The gas mask on his opponent gave his brain the initial spark. But when he got to the center and realized it was Okingshi, behind the mask his eyebrows rose in pleasant shock.

Okingshi's words brought a thought to Asahi that hadn't crossed his mind. In a way, he was representing what Yuuta, and even more, everyone so far had taught him. But more importantly, it made Asahi realize he was coming into the fight with some familiarity. With that reminder, his mind began to race through the things he had seen Yuuta do, and what he had learned about the Gure clan.

"This is a fun surprise! And yes, let's do that." Asahi said with a nod. Behind the mask was a slight smile. He considered Okingshi...a friendly, but that wouldn't mean he would hold back, and he knew Okingshi wouldn't either. To be truthful, he had been interested in seeing Okingshi's skill since they had met. It seemed the one's deciding the matchups would grant that desire. Asahi bowed after Okingshi, signaling he was also ready.

Once the proctor called it, Asahi got into a standard fighting stance and prepared himself to react, beginning to gather chakra into his back, but holding off. He waited on his opponent to act.

What would his fellow gas masked genin come at him with first, if it all?

As the match begun, Okingshi didn't hesitate to make his move, sprinting toward Asahi with his scythe in hand. He gripped his weapon further down it's handle than he usually would, giving him some extra needed range. If he had any chance of winning, Okingshi would need to use the knowledge he gained from observing Asahi's fight with the Kirigakure girl earlier; avoiding that shocking touch technique he saw for one.

Within seconds his opponent would come into range if they didn't move to avoid the charge, giving Okingshi an opening to slash with his scythe 'Silence' at their face; potentially damaging the mask they wore and maybe even their face. He'd quickly spin his scythe around in his palm, following up with a second even faster attack to their chest - "Kizamu [Carve]!" Okingshi was hoping the added finesse would surprise Asashi with it's unexpected acceleration.

If Asahi fell back during his charge, Okingshi would take the opportunity to slip a hand into his pocket to pull out a smoke bomb; throwing it at the ground to create a smoke screen between the two. Okingshi was hoping to test a theory about Asahi's mask, but first he'd have to get close enough.

DESCRIPTION: Chinmoku is a war scythe that can be wielded either one handed or two. The handle is roughly a meter and a half long, made of a dark oak wood. The bottom half of the handle is wrapped in an weathered white fabric and the very end is capped with metal. It slightly bends until in it meets a metal reinforcement bar. This bar runs parallel with the wooden handle up until the blade.

The blade is roughly 80cm long, made with steel and is covered in a spider web-like green mould. The inner side is a sharp edge that curves into a fine point. The other edge of the blade is curved yet angular in appearance, with a change in angle half way down. It also has a slight hook shape before meeting the handle. Opposite the blade on the other side of the handle, a small container sits connected to the blade by a small hose.
•ABILITY:
-Breathless-
The small container contains organic matter that cultures a mould; which then grows from it, down the hose and across the blade. Okingshi is required to clean the handle to stop the mould growing down its length. The mould itself appears green and web-like in appearance, easily removable by a slight brush or when cutting an enemy.

Should someone be cut by the blade, even the slightest nick; after two rounds the mould quickly takes effect as it festers in the wound. Once this happens the mould begins poisoning the blood and nearby tissue, depriving it of oxygen. The skin surrounding the wound becomes very sore and tender, turning bluish in appearence. While any blood from the wound turns a deep crimson purple as the mould feeds on its oxygen.

However a deep enough wound or a series of smaller wounds that remove half of the mould from the blade will induce symptoms of hypoxia. While at first it manifests the same as a minor cut, after five rounds it will start effecting a larger portion of the skin around the wound/s, turning it extremely sensitive and blue; while a shortness in breath, coughing, wheezing and a fastened heartbeat take effect. This can be quite debilitating to their stamina and durability

The mould can be removed from the wound by sanitising it, either washing it thoroughly or burning it. Once all the mould has been removed from the blade, Okingshi requires two rotations to cultivate the mould across the blade again, it can not be grown through gure techniques as no technique has or can be developed to culture the unique mould.

DESCRIPTION:
The user spins their scythe as many times as they want before suddenly lashing out their weapon to carve the opponent open or rend limbs off. This technique is incredibly quick and swift and despite its speed can allow the user to cut through flesh and bone easily.

As soon as it started, Okingshi rushed him. And as soon as the boy began his advance, Asahi shifted the focus of his chakra from his back and let it spread through his body. He put his hands together in one handseal and with a flash of lightning hitting the ground where he was.

Asahi's chakra invigorated legs dashed away from Okingshi. Asahi seemingly disappeared from his spot and reappeared further back, creating 15m of separation if he could once he released the handseal to stop the technique.

As he used the Body Flicker technique to create the distance, he kept his attention on Okingshi in case they pressed further. His brain continued to go to work. He had some skill with that scythe, clearly evident from the strikes he had thrown. And there was something on the scythe that looked pretty nasty. Asahi made a mental note to avoid getting cut by that since whatever was on the blade's surface couldn't be good.

But Okingshi didn't press forward, at least not at first. Poof! Smoke erupted around his opponent, but with the distance Asahi had covered and created, he was outside of the smoke bombs 5m radius.

Asahi prepared for something to emerge from the smoke, whether that be weapon, jutsu, or Okingshi themselves. As his golden eyes watched and waited, he let his chakra concentrate back to his back again.

Enhanced Chakra Control

Genetics and an inclination towards medical ninjutsu has led him to hone his chakra control to make up for his average sized chakra pool. He could be classified as an adept at best, but still has better chakra control than his peers who have focused on other things. He knows how to find the equilibrium between unneeded chakra and energy, and just enough for jutsu, but is still working to lengthen this efficiency and endurance in the field.

Incarnation of Many Hands (Ōorigami Clan Hijutsu)

The rigorous training from his mother who tattooed the seal on his back, gave him enough experience for the extra arms this Hijutsu brings to feel natural at this point. Only able to make two, he uses them to hold extra weapons, and assist in other ways inside battle, medical training, and in everyday life. However, he still has much further to go, with more arms to come in the future and more ways to get quicker, stronger and better at utilizing them.

Combat Medic Training

With solid chakra control, his upbringing, and experience so far, he has developed the foundational knowledge base required by most medical ninja. Anatomy, the nervous system, muscles, poisons and flora. He has gained a knowledge about these wide array of medical subjects, but his knowledge and skills comes with a focus that few medics pursue.

Where some medics run from combat, with that being the common practice of field medics, Asahi has trained himself to work under the pressure of combat and physical pain, being able to hold his own, and potentially protecting those who are also trying to protect him. Using his medical knowledge to aid himself in combat is something he thrives at, and many medical techniques can be used for harm rather than help. Asahi has found skill in utilizing them to do both.

DESCRIPTION:

By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, compounding in exertion and difficulty each time. with any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion. The hand seal for this technique must be held until the shinobi reaches their destination, making it impossible to utilize other techniques regardless of any preparation.

Beneath his gas-mask a smile widened across Okingshi's face, as smoke covered the battlefield. His ploy, the tactic he so favoured yet was unable to perform last round, was now perfectly set up. With Asahi having retreated and a thick cloud of smoke between them, Okingshi quickly holstered the scythe onto his back then preformed two handseals. Upon finishing the seals, Okingshi descended; slowly sinking into the ground below him. All the while mentally envisioning the last location he saw Asahi during their lightning fast retreat.

Okingshi travelled through the soil, straight toward his opponent as quickly as he possibly could. If he had any chance of pulling this off, he'd need to surprise Asahi before the smoke bomb cleared. It was definitely not his favourite way of travelling - nothing compared to the migration technique of his kekkei genkai; but it got the job done. 

The moment he reached his destination Okingshi's head burst through the ground, along with his arms. If Asahi remained in the same place the whole time, Okingshi would attempt to grab both of Asahi's ankles, and pull them head-deep underground. "Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu - [Double Suicide Decapitation Technique]!!!".

Whether his jutsu failed or not at that stage; Okingshi's hand would aim to rip off their face mask, before jumping a few paces backward. Once out of reaching distance, the Kusagakure genin slid his hand behind his back to wield his scythe once again.

Description
Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu utilizing the Earth Element. The ninja will travel through the ground to appear below their target. They will then surprise their target by then pulling them into the ground. Once in the ground their target is thus immobilized. It should be noted that the technique can only be used over short distances.

More moments passed and nothing happened. Nothing came from the smoke, and that made Asahi more tense. With the chakra already concentrating to his back, he activated his clan's hijutsu. Two arms made of bonelike chakra material sprouted from his back, ripping through his tank top and readying under his real arms. Still nothing came from the smoke. When Asahi heard the ground beneath him cracking open it was almost too late.

Had he not had his extra arms, or been as experienced with them as he was, he might have been pulled under. Instead, he felt the grip around his ankles and the pull, and instinctively used his Ki arms to push into the ground against the pull. He let himself fall to his knees and used his real arms to horse kick out of his opponents grip and free his feet from their brief entrapment in the ground.

Once free of the grip, Asahi used the Ki arms, already pushing, and extended their length to their full length of five feet and flipped his body backward to stand. The strength of his four arms together would surely prevail over his opponents two, along with the pushing vs pulling motion, and with the flip, he narrowly avoided Okingshi's grab at his mask as his opponent emerged from the ground below. All of that was a close call.

Okingshi leaped back a couple of paced after the attempt and as Asahi landed from his body flip, he finished up some handseals. Once those were done, he put his real hands together in a triangle, with Okingshi in it's sights. As his opponent stopped their retreat and redrew their scythe, a bolt of lightning shot out from Asahi's hands toward them as he used the Lightning Release: Lightning Bolt Technique!

With this being Asahi's first major use of chakra so far, he was able to deliver this bolt at full power speed and strength. If Okingshi managed to dodge the lightning bolt untouched, wherever the bolt did hit would be dented in and scorched, showcasing the jutsu's force and heat. Meanwhile the Konoha genin's ki arms stayed at the ready by his sides for any incoming threat.

Basically the name given to the control of these arms using Raiton chakra, this is the most basic technique the clan use, emitting their nerve signals from their head to the arms to control them as if they were their own limbs.

This technique is probably one of the most basic Raiton Jutsu out there that deals with actual lightning. The user will first perform the needed hand seals in order, then make a triangle with both their hands with the finger tips as the vertex and two thumbs acting as base. After which, the user will then begin to focus their Raiton Chakra to the Single Point while targeting the opponent within the open Triangle palm as they begin to channel chakra to the mid-point of the triangle. Then user will then pulsate a single bolt of lightning towards the opponent. The damage the bolt can deal is substantial, able to scorch a tree while leaving a dent at full power.

Unfortunately Asahi's managed to release himself from Okingshi's grasp before completely becoming submerged. The four arms that appeared from Asahi's back bracing against the ground, allowing them break free with an agile backflip. With the failure of his strategy and scythe in hand, Okingshi charged his opponent again. Closing the short distance between them with only a few large strides.

As he prepared to attack, Okingshi saw Asahi's hands come together - forming several hands seals. The necessity to interupt any possible technique by Asahi quickly became Okingshi's priority. With one swift motion Okingshi swung his weapon at his opponents hands, trying to either sever them or force Asahi to separate his interlocking of fingers. As the blade begun to meet its target, Okingshi swung his body to the side trying to increase the weapons arc and power. Suddenly a bolt of lightning from Asahi narrowly shot pass Okingshi's ear, the ambient heat from the technique singed his hair causing it to smoulder and the lightnings glow partially burnt into his right retina.

A surprised Okingshi quickly pivoted to the left - readying himself to dodge another one, if Asahi was still capable of manifesting more. However he wouldn't wait for his opponent to attack again, and would draw down his scythe vertically; attempting to slice Asahi's chest from an angle.

Okingshi watched as his infectious weapon ripped through Asahi's real hands, wounding them. His follow up attack cut deep into their flesh, sending blood flying through the air as he dragged the weapon down their chest. A great deal of crimson liquid splattered from the wound, landing on the ground. While not nearly as bad, as it would have been if Okingshi had used one of his techniques, it was still quite a serious flesh wound - not one he could struggle off easily, especially now that silence's toxic fungus was infecting his blood stream.

As he finished the motion, Okingshi grabbed his scythe with two hands and shifted his back foot, rotating it on the spot; with a large crescent-like arc his weapon swung horizontally towards his opponent chest again. "Gentan [Reduction]!!!". Okingshi smiled. "Hopefully this would be the finishing blow" he thought.

With his entire weight behind the attack, Okingshi's body lunged further into Asahi's flank, causing him to be slightly behind the Konohagure Shinobi's back and in their blind spot. Had Asahi managed to dodge his close range attack, Okingshi would shift his foot again, avoiding the four arms in their back and swinging his scythe at their jugular.

If then, Asahi failed to move out of the way in time, Okingshi would stop his weapon inches from their neck. "It's over!" Okingshi exclaimed. Otherwise Okingshi would continue with a flurry of attacks and swings, giving Asahi very little chance to do anything if he remained in close quarters.

DESCRIPTION:
Focusing more on power than speed, the user prepares to cut down their foe in one mighty sweep. Using both hands, the user brings their scythe out before unleashing one mighty swing of their cleaving weapon. The force behind this technique is much more powerful than other basic scythe techniques and can even rend through steel itself, as well as low ranking ninjutsu like fireballs and water jets. However the integrity of the blade weakens when used against such chakra based techniques.

[Ōorigami Asahi]

SOMEDAY WE WILL CONNECT THE DOTS AND UNVEIL THE WORLD

Asahi watched Okingshi close in as he went to fire off his lightning bolt. Okingshi was quick, and even quicker with his scythe. Asahi took a bad step back, as he drew back almost losing his footing as his opponent's scythe ripped through his palms.

The only reason it didn't get his fingers is because he instinctively drew away. But Asahi's action left him open, and again Okingshi scythe came down on him, slashing him in the chest. As his blood spilt to the ground from the cut, the burning sensation of the large cut came. He clenched the wound to little to no comfort with his real right hand, and Okingshi's assault continued. A heavier slash came horizontally.

With the speed of this swing not being as fast as some of the others his opponent threw, Asahi launched himself backwards with his legs through his pain, and pushed his body backwards at the same time as if forcefully falling. In a way that was what he did.

Where most would hesitate to purposefully fall, and with that speed, Asahi didn't. He knew he had arms to catch him. His ki arms let him fall, and even pulled if down if need be to almost horizontally with the ground, closely avoiding the horizontal slash to his chest.

Okingshi moved more to his side after that swing and swung again. Whether his opponent swung at the jugular that wasn't there, or if he stopped it, or even changed the direction of the swing, Asahi's attempt would be the same.

He used the ability of his ki arms to retract and extend to use them not only to catch his almost fall, but to spring him back up with force. If there was still a swing from his opponent, Asahi would dodge the scythe's blades with a turn of his body, using the arms to make sure he launched off in a way that avoided whatever direction a swing came from. With Okingshi's weapon now extended, it would be met with both of Asahi's ki arms getting a reach out at it first, but Asahi's real arms closely following, also reaching out to grab at the scythe's handle, wrist area, or even body of his opponent.

With his four arms and the speed his extra arms helped him pop up with, Asahi probably looked like a jumping spider or something of the sort. With the weapon being held out from the final cut attempt, surely one of the boy's four hands could get a hold of something in the target area. The ki arms didn't even avoid grabbing near the blade. If the ki arms got cut, or even sliced through, it was fine. Asahi felt no pain from any damage to his Ki arms, so again, he was able to lunge out without much hesitation. And if Okingshi drew back to avoid, the ki arms could extend to still try and grab something, unless he could cover their full length of five feet after a powerful swing.

Unlike his last match, this wasn't a lunge in desperation. This was deliberate, because if he was able to get a grab on any part of the scythes handle, or Okingshi's wrist, or even his opponents body from them avoiding the prior two, he would release the chakra he had been focusing, through his real hands and wherever they grabbed. Depending on place of contact a few things could happen.

If Asahi managed to connect with his real hands Raiton: Tēzā no Jutsu [Lightning Release: Taser Technique] would be released at the point of contact. If it was on the wooden handle of the scythe, the wood would erupt in flames from the voltage the boy was delivering. If he managed to get a hold of any part of Okingshi's body, that voltage would instead be sent through his opponent, with the jutsu being said to be able to drop a grown man at full power.

Even with Asahi's injuries, part of his combat medic training was being able to fight through and perform through pain, and this pain was different than his last matches pain.

Last match he was dealing with broken ribs and internal damage. These were deep cuts. And with his chakra control, he still felt like he had a good amount of chakra left in the tank. So it would be safe to say that even if the jolt from the Taser Technique didn't drop Okingshi unconscious, Asahi's release would send a really strong jolt through his opponents system. Probably make him drop his weapon at the very least, if not bowl over entirely form the pain and electricity in his nervous system effecting the ability to move limbs, especially right after a shock.

Right now the boy didn't feel the effects of the poison the slash had transferred to his body. Didn't really even notice his heavier breath. His focus was devoted to his lunge and shock attempt.

Notes: Since it's kind of a long post here it is summed up

Basically the name given to the control of these arms using Raiton chakra, this is the most basic technique the clan use, emitting their nerve signals from their head to the arms to control them as if they were their own limbs.

DESCRIPTION:
The most basic form of Raiton release, this technique involves nothing more than converting the user's chakra into basic Raiton or even more simply raw electricity. The foundation of all Raiton techniques, most Shinobi simply overlook it as nothing more than a stepping stone. While something that would normally be considered only a D rank in actual difficulty, the technique's C ranking comes from the sheer versatility of the technique - when properly controlled it can vary from something as weak as a simple static shock to a jolt strong enough to drop a full grown man. Due to being electric in nature, the technique can be channeled along any conductive substance, somewhat making up for the fact that it requires contact to work. In the hands of an extremely skilled user, it can also be used as something akin to a defibrillator should the need arise.

[Gure, Okingshi]

Okingshi felt no resistance as he swung his scythe toward Asahi's chest. In his peripherals, Okingshi saw his opponent fall backwards to dodge the attack completely. They were lucky, if that strike hit its mark, the fight would have ended right then and there - but alas it didn't. As he turned his head along with his follow up attack, Okingshi saw Asahi hadn't entirely fallen and instead bounced back up using the four unnatural arms they produced earlier. 'Those darn arms' Okingshi thought as his scythe closed in on its intended target. He was little prepared for the flurry of arms that followed, attempting to interfere with his strike.

Okingshi did his best to react, interrupting his own swing as the arms quickly approached. While the many hands his opponent tried to reach out and grasp him, Okingshi begun spinning his scythe. "Kage Sansui [Shadow Landscape]!!!!". His defence knocked back each hand as they came. However he was caught off guard as one broke through, gripping onto his shoulder.

Suddenly, a burst of raiton begun to explode through his body. He felt the painful, agonising feeling of lightning course through his body, causing him to yell into a roar. Without even intending to do so, his body reacted; convulsing to the surge of signals hitting his nerves. He could feel his muscles strain as they fought to resist the involuntarily movements. With what little strength he had left, Okingshi grabbed the rear of his scythe's blade - the container - and pushed the blade portion forward, attempting to stab Asahi's stomach.

Moments later he gave into the raw power and collapsed onto his knees, breathing heavily with shortened breathes as his entire body smouldered with steam from the shock he sustained. It would have been worse if not for his enhanced vitality. The latch that kept his mask on broke at that moment, revealing to Asahi the scarred face he had worn since the first round. A face unfamiliar to Asahi.

As it landed on the ground, Okingshi raised a knee; now only on one, he tighten his hand's grip on the scythe, staring menacingly at Asahi. He watched as his opponents wounds started to turn blueish, and their blood a deep purple. Silence's effects were just beginning.

NAME: Chinmoku | Silence

DESCRIPTION: Chinmoku is a war scythe that can be wielded either one handed or two. The handle is roughly a meter and a half long, made of a dark oak wood. The bottom half of the handle is wrapped in an weathered white fabric and the very end is capped with metal. It slightly bends until in it meets a metal reinforcement bar. This bar runs parallel with the wooden handle up until the blade.

The blade is roughly 80cm long, made with steel and is covered in a spider web-like green mould. The inner side is a sharp edge that curves into a fine point. The other edge of the blade is curved yet angular in appearance, with a change in angle half way down. It also has a slight hook shape before meeting the handle. Opposite the blade on the other side of the handle, a small container sits connected to the blade by a small hose.
•ABILITY:
-Breathless-
The small container contains organic matter that cultures a mould; which then grows from it, down the hose and across the blade. Okingshi is required to clean the handle to stop the mould growing down its length. The mould itself appears green and web-like in appearance, easily removable by a slight brush or when cutting an enemy.

Should someone be cut by the blade, even the slightest nick; after two rounds the mould quickly takes effect as it festers in the wound. Once this happens the mould begins poisoning the blood and nearby tissue, depriving it of oxygen. The skin surrounding the wound becomes very sore and tender, turning bluish in appearence. While any blood from the wound turns a deep crimson purple as the mould feeds on its oxygen.

However a deep enough wound or a series of smaller wounds that remove half of the mould from the blade will induce symptoms of hypoxia. While at first it manifests the same as a minor cut, after five rounds it will start effecting a larger portion of the skin around the wound/s, turning it extremely sensitive and blue; while a shortness in breath, coughing, wheezing and a fastened heartbeat take effect. This can be quite debilitating to their stamina and durability

The mould can be removed from the wound by sanitising it, either washing it thoroughly or burning it. Once all the mould has been removed from the blade, Okingshi requires two rotations to cultivate the mould across the blade again, it can not be grown through gure techniques as no technique has or can be developed to culture the unique mould.

DESCRIPTION:
The user holds their scythe out in front of them and spins it rapidly. This allows the user to repel incoming projectile weapons with great ease as well as keep away physical attackers or close range weapons.

SOMEDAY WE WILL CONNECT THE DOTS AND UNVEIL THE WORLD

Asahi's sudden launch worked out and he felt the electricity transfer from his body and into Okingshi. His opponent's roar as the current went through him confirmed it. Asahi's golden eyes almost matched the brief sights of the electricity some of the spectators may have seen, as he watched his opponent.

Even through all that, Okingshi moved?! Asahi let go of his opponent and leapt back a few times, similarly to how Okingshi had done at the beginning of their fight. The only reason he stopped his retreat was because of what Okingshi revealed. It wasn't an attack this time. His opponent revealed their face.

The Okingshi he saw kneeling a few feet away from him, looked entirely different. Asahi instinctively took a step back, in shock and some concern. After the experience the Kusagakure boy had took him on, and even though he hadn't seen his opponent since, he felt a connection to him because of that interaction. "W-what happened to you? Y-your face..." Asahi said, distracted momentarily by something of more pressing concern.

A brief glance down to his chest showed his wound turning blue, and his blood now looked purple instead of red. Asahi's attention now traded between his wound and Okingshi ahead of him. His breath hadn't lightened up. At this point Asahi realized something was wrong. In the flurry of Okingshi's attacks, he had let the reason why he was avoiding the scythe take a backseat, and now he had to face that.

Concern sat on Asahi's face as he waited on a response, ready to react if Okingshi attacked again, but clearly taking a pause to seek an answer to Okingshi's new appearance and what was happening to his chest. He could feel his body trying to fight off whatever was happening, and losing...

[Gure, Okingshi]

Asahi had retreated before his scythe's blade sunk into flesh. His actions had lagged enough for them to sufficiently dodge. Okingshi watched as Asahi face grew long in shock at the reveal of his face. As they asked what happened, Okingshi tried to stand up. However his weakened muscles buckled and twitched, since effected by the lightnings shock.

"The poison during the first round. It was more powerful then I thought.. then they thought..." Okingshi's voice rattled out, dried from the stunning technique he suffered. He looked at the observation room he assumed was the mizukages. "They didn't take into account my kekkai genkai. The effects the poison would have on it" his anger was being to burn through his voice as he talked. He took a moment to slowly lift his sleeve, showing the purple vein like markings on his arms, the same everyone in the first round suffered, only permanent. "It's made me realise... we're nothing but fodder... they don't care about our lives... just that we are willing to sacrifice ourselves" he ended with.

He turned his eyes back to Asahi, looking at their wounds. "You should deal with those, before I get back up" Okingshi exclaimed. He continued to try to find his footing, but struggled to do so. A burning sensation ran through his muscles, it built up stronger and stronger as their strength slowly began to return.

[Ōorigami Asahi]

SOMEDAY WE WILL CONNECT THE DOTS AND UNVEIL THE WORLD

Partially because he was beginning to find it harder to breath, and partially because he wanted to address his opponent face to face, Asahi took his mask off as he listened. Initially he wouldn't have thought they would use a poison that strong, especially since they faked most if not all the deaths from what he could tell. But after that second round, it didn't surprise him.

There was an anger that Okingshi spoke with, that Asahi would have never guessed could come from him. Then, after all that anger, Okingshi gave him some advice. Was he being helpful or saying that threateningly?

With Okingshi the way he was now, it was hard to tell. The thought had already been on the boy's mind, he just didn't think he would have the opportunity. He knew the technique applicable in this situation, especially with the time constraint, and it was going to hurt.

"I'm inclined to agree with you from what I've seen. I'll tell you one thing, I won't become anyone's fodder other than my own. You shouldn't either." Asahi started. "I'm sorry that happened to you." Asahi finished simply. He didn't completely agree with Okingshi's statement, but he wasn't here to debate his opponent. They were here to fight, and Okingshi's warning spoke to that.

As Okingshi struggled to stand and Asahi spoke, he also gathered chakra into both his hands, and a blue hue appeared around them. He brushed his palms together vertically, and slowly. He let out a cry that he cut off to a muffled gruntish sound through gritted teeth.

At first this maneuver may have looked simple, but it was a showcase in his control. He was using Shōshaku no Jutsu [Cauterizing Technique] in both hands to burn their wounds closed simultaneously, making sure the wounds burned closed, but controlling the heat and his hands so that neither got stuck together during the jutsu.

As soon as his hands were done he continued the jutsu and brought them to his chest, cauterizing it from both sides and letting out a painful howl of his own that he couldn't contain like moments before.

"AGHHGH!!" he yelled as he finished up, the yell and intense pain ceasing and beginning the process of fading. Asahi kept his eyes up through the whole procedure, ki arms still at the ready, making sure Okingshi didn't get the jump on him. Asahi tried to settle his heavy breath. That maneuver, and doing it at the speed he had while maintaining the precise control it took, took a lot out of him.

If there was one thing Asahi had shown throughout the exam so far, it was his medical skill and endurance, partially out of necessity, but still. By the time Asahi was done closing his chest wound, Okingshi's strength probably would have come back. The moment of peace had passed just as quickly as it had settled...and nausea began to creep into Asahi's stomach.

[Gure, Okingshi]

Okingshi nodded along with Asahi's words showing some semblance of agreement. It wasn't that he didn't understand; he just thought Asahi was a bit naive. Native that his fate was his own. "You really believe that, don't you." Okingshi replied, smiling as he looked upon his opponents bare face. He watched as Asahi began to mould chakra into his hands; not long after the genin burst into a scream as his fleash melted and bubbled, closing their wounds.

As the sounds of agony echoed around the battlefield, Okingshi took his time to lift himself up, staggering to his feet. His posture was hung over as his proped himself against his scythe. "Are you ready?" Okingshi rhetorically asked. Without even waiting for an answer, Okingshi bent forward, forcing his leg to swing into a step. With momentum beginning, Okingshi took another step, throwing himself into a slow sprint. Although his strength hadn't completely returned, the genin ran toward his opponent as they finished tending to their wounds.

Approaching Asahi, Okingshi reached into his pocket, produced two shuriken and threw them toward his opponent aiming one at their head and another at their chest. As they reached Asahi, Okingshi would leap into the air and swing his scythe down at Asahi's crown with immense force "Gentan [Reduction]!!!!!"- hoping to catch him off guard only moments after dealing with the shuriken.

DESCRIPTION: Chinmoku is a war scythe that can be wielded either one handed or two. The handle is roughly a meter and a half long, made of a dark oak wood. The bottom half of the handle is wrapped in an weathered white fabric and the very end is capped with metal. It slightly bends until in it meets a metal reinforcement bar. This bar runs parallel with the wooden handle up until the blade.

The blade is roughly 80cm long, made with steel and is covered in a spider web-like green mould. The inner side is a sharp edge that curves into a fine point. The other edge of the blade is curved yet angular in appearance, with a change in angle half way down. It also has a slight hook shape before meeting the handle. Opposite the blade on the other side of the handle, a small container sits connected to the blade by a small hose.
•ABILITY:
-Breathless-
The small container contains organic matter that cultures a mould; which then grows from it, down the hose and across the blade. Okingshi is required to clean the handle to stop the mould growing down its length. The mould itself appears green and web-like in appearance, easily removable by a slight brush or when cutting an enemy.

Should someone be cut by the blade, even the slightest nick; after two rounds the mould quickly takes effect as it festers in the wound. Once this happens the mould begins poisoning the blood and nearby tissue, depriving it of oxygen. The skin surrounding the wound becomes very sore and tender, turning bluish in appearence. While any blood from the wound turns a deep crimson purple as the mould feeds on its oxygen.

However a deep enough wound or a series of smaller wounds that remove half of the mould from the blade will induce symptoms of hypoxia. While at first it manifests the same as a minor cut, after five rounds it will start effecting a larger portion of the skin around the wound/s, turning it extremely sensitive and blue; while a shortness in breath, coughing, wheezing and a fastened heartbeat take effect. This can be quite debilitating to their stamina and durability

The mould can be removed from the wound by sanitising it, either washing it thoroughly or burning it. Once all the mould has been removed from the blade, Okingshi requires two rotations to cultivate the mould across the blade again, it can not be grown through gure techniques as no technique has or can be developed to culture the unique mould.

DESCRIPTION:
Focusing more on power than speed, the user prepares to cut down their foe in one mighty sweep. Using both hands, the user brings their scythe out before unleashing one mighty swing of their cleaving weapon. The force behind this technique is much more powerful than other basic scythe techniques and can even rend through steel itself, as well as low ranking ninjutsu like fireballs and water jets. However the integrity of the blade weakens when used against such chakra based techniques.

[Ōorigami Asahi]

SOMEDAY WE WILL CONNECT THE DOTS AND UNVEIL THE WORLD

The nausea grew. Something was wrong...Asahi took a deep breath as his eyes stayed trained on his opponent. He watched Okingshi regain enough strength to run and as he came closer, he threw two shuriken. Asahi extended his arms to intercept the shuriken, the two spinning stars catching into the palms of the ki arms.

With his extra arms, the shuriken wouldn't break his focus on Okingshi. As his arms met the shuriken, he did a few handseals. He gathered chakra and performed Raiton: Senkō Mosu [Lightning Release: Flash Flare], the best way to describe what he felt was like a muscle reaching it's limit during a lift.

A blinding light would go off right above Asahi's forehead. But it would come at the cost of his arms that retracted. Trailing on the ground brushed the shuriken off, as they were sucked back into Asahi's seal on his back.

As his arms disabled, Asahi paid it no mind. The blinding light from his forehead should have been enough to stop his opponent's vicious slash down, or at least alter it. It was almost a guaranteed blinding with Okingshi aiming at his crown.

Whether the slash technique stopped completely, or altered, it would give Asahi enough to dodge it to the side. As his legs moved, his right hand came up. It grabbed a kunai from his right side pouch, and continued. Asahi's left hand met it and together, he lunged the kunai toward Okingshi's side. If it caught his opponent's body, it would drag until it lodged or slashed out with the fall. If he felt contact, Asahi would get his slash or stab and run in the direction Okingshi came from.

As he made his escape from being close to his opponent...yep, something was definitely wrong. His breath was already heavy, and he wasn't running at the pace he usually was. He was never the fastest, but this was certainly hindered.

The chakra fatigue made sense in Asahi's head, but this...was different. He took a blood pill as he continued his run, trying to make his escape toward the clear wall that surrounded them. But his body was telling him to stop, like he had run the entire day, as he struggled away.

Enhanced Chakra Control

Genetics and an inclination towards medical ninjutsu has led him to hone his chakra control to make up for his average sized chakra pool. He could be classified as an adept at best, but still has better chakra control than his peers who have focused on other things. He knows how to find the equilibrium between unneeded chakra and energy, and just enough for jutsu, but is still working to lengthen this efficiency and endurance in the field.

Incarnation of Many Hands (Ōorigami Clan Hijutsu)

The rigorous training from his mother who tattooed the seal on his back, gave him enough experience for the extra arms this Hijutsu brings to feel natural at this point. Only able to make two, he uses them to hold extra weapons, and assist in other ways inside battle, medical training, and in everyday life. However, he still has much further to go, with more arms to come in the future and more ways to get quicker, stronger and better at utilizing them.

Combat Medic Training

With solid chakra control, his upbringing, and experience so far, he has developed the foundational knowledge base required by most medical ninja. Anatomy, the nervous system, muscles, poisons and flora. He has gained a knowledge about these wide array of medical subjects, but his knowledge and skills comes with a focus that few medics pursue.

Where some medics run from combat, with that being the common practice of field medics, Asahi has trained himself to work under the pressure of combat and physical pain, being able to hold his own, and potentially protecting those who are also trying to protect him. Using his medical knowledge to aid himself in combat is something he thrives at, and many medical techniques can be used for harm rather than help. Asahi has found skill in utilizing them to do both.

Basically the name given to the control of these arms using Raiton chakra, this is the most basic technique the clan use, emitting their nerve signals from their head to the arms to control them as if they were their own limbs.

The user will perform the needed Handsigns and focus Raiton chakra to a single point above the forehead to cause an instant flash of light to be produced that can blind anyone directly staring at the point of origin for about ten Seconds. This is a great tactical move for those attempting an escape.
