[Miyamoto Ikana]

The cat in a way did a much more important job than one might imagine. The poor feline cleaned them of vermin and kept their stocks safe, and was a welcome companion to Ikana. The young girl sought to take the poor thing and seal it in a scroll to bury later. It didn't deserve to be caught up in the mess. However, before that, as she looked all about herself, and was given a pat on the back and a winking smirk, the feeling was foreign. Incredibly so to her. Frankly. She wasn't a complicated human being. To see that level of praise? It made her blink and then shyly rub her foot along the deck. "H-Hai." She proclaims. 

Before long? She was off dumping corpses, cleaning bodies, and helped with whatever work that needed to be done. She was largely quiet, but far more behaved and at least somewhat more energetic as she worked along the ship. Perhaps some part of her was eager to return home. Perhaps another part of it was that she felt somewhat more accomplished and in a way, "together" with the people around her. She didn't know. Crossing her hands behind her back, she reflected on everything, and she figured that maybe she was acting a bit brattier than she realized. Something she hadn't been just a few years ago. Back when she had nothing. Why. She was far more content back then than she was now. Maybe she'd changed too much for the worst...

A good time to reflect and grow. As she kicked a corpse into the sea. Or well. At least began shoving the body and rolling it. From here on out, maybe she'd be a bit better in her attitude.
