Another lonely day in the tutoring center at the Shinobi academy in Kirigakure, but rather than sit down and read a book the girl had opted to get some Taijutsu practice taking a gander a small medical book she had that outlined the 8 gates and how they functioned within the body. For the last few months Asuka had been working towards figuring out how to take advantage of the 8 gates technique and had only really grasped the basic beginnings of the technique.

She was waiting for a student to arrive and opted to do what she could in order to open the first gate but in the process of doing so still couldn’t get it to function correctly. "Haaaa!” after getting the gate open. She’d dash around the field for a moment able to feel the substantial increase to the potency of her speed. "My muscles are moving properly but I’m still having some issues getting everything to work in tandem, the speed at which I punch is potent but that seems to be it.”

As the girl stood out in the field she’d take a moment to consider a few things before realizing that she’s probably needed back in the tutoring center and turned her head to face it, but it didn’t seem like anyone had arrived. If they had Asuka would be visible from the classroom window and large chalkboard would read the words "WELCOME.”

Summary:

Asuka would be caught in the mist and would attempt to strike out at the young girl using the [Silken Fist: Counter Blow] but due to her uncertainty of where to strike her follow through was poor and may or may not have hit her target. With it Asuka can craft and shape the silk to her will and uses it in a mostly supplementary fashion to aid her in battle alongside her powerful taijutsu skills.

As a sole practitioner of Taijutsu Asuka has relentlessly pushed her body against itself for spectacular results: her strength carries over into her speed, and as such alongside the control she exerts body in spirit and in mind, she is intensely faster than those of a similar level of strength and maneuvering expertly as if the air were an extension of her own body.

During Asuka's time as a genin the youth had begun to realize that in order to excel as a shinobi she needed to learn how to properly utilize her chakra. And while she doesn't posses the greatest of reserves the youth has learned through rigorous meditation how to keep her chakra still and calm. As a result she is now able to wield it with a great deal of control and is able to channel only the necessary amounts of chakra into the few jutsu she uses in order to make the most of their abilities whilst still being able to keep up in a fight.

It had been a lazy morning. Through the creeks of the thick and dark curtains, the sun's rays gently touched An's face. An was still sleepy, but she needed to get up because she had some tasks to complete today. Nothing out of the ordinary happened that morning.

"I'm going!" she yelled, her shoes on, loud enough for the rest of the family to hear. She stood up and exited the house through the main doors. The clock was ticking as she hurried through Kirigakure's streets. It didn't take her long to get to the Academy and the training center, where she had a one-on-one tutoring session scheduled with a teacher that was quite well known.

When she entered the tutoring center and opened the sliding wood door, she was greeted by a chalkboard and a "welcome" sign. She looked around to see if anyone was there, but the place was deserted. Hmm... no one. She looked around to see if it was a test of some kind, but there was nothing. Her legs led her to the large windows that faced the backyard, where a lone female figure stood in the distance. An kept looking in that direction, wondering if it was her teacher.

As the young girl continued to pay attention she’d possibly notice the girl moving about rapidly her feet latching onto the steel on the training grounds whilst taking advantage of this new form she’d simulate one of the techniques within her arsenal the Kirigakure Taekwondo style of fighting. She’d fire off a rapid series of kicks and then perform a swift turn raising her leg up as if to launch an opponent into the air.

From there she’d then shadow the rest of the motions pushing herself into the air and spinning like a top creating a strong visible gust of wind that would cut the morning mist. Finally after reaching the peak of her height she’d press her legs forward in midair enough to produce another shockwave, abd finally would gracefully land back onto the ground. "Excellent!” with that she’d release the gate and would feel her muscles relax once more she wasn’t certain of the power but could most certainly feel a decent burst of speed throughout her body.

However as she concluded she’d look over and notice the young girl watching from in the distance. "Oh…” feeling a tad sheepish the girl would rush over towards the room. "Good morning, I am so sorry I’m late. I was just getting in some morning practice.” with that the girl would dust off her clothing and bow to her young student. "So how can I help you today!”

The female in the distance was doing some fancy moves that An could only dream of doing at her current age and skill level. The older figure moved quickly from outside to inside the classroom. Before meeting face to face, the blue-eyed girl's eyes had only blinked a few times.

Close inspection revealed that the female was much taller than An had taught. An examined her teacher from head to toe and back again. She towered over the youngster by several heads. Her short hair was neatly tied in a ponytail, and she had two dark-brown eyes. Her outfit was appropriate for someone who had spent a significant amount of time training and honing their skills. A characteristic most commonly found in those who practice taijutsu.

"Hello, my name is Gurē An," the petite girl said, not knowing if the teacher recognized her name, but it was only polite to introduce herself when meeting someone for the first time. She paused for a moment to allow the instructor to introduce herself; though she had received her name beforehand, she didn't know much else about the person in front of her. "I'm having some trouble with the Bunshin no Jutsu," she explained, "and I was hoping sensei could help me with it."

As the young academy student approached she looked down at the younger girl who seemed to be rather small in frame she introduced herself as Gure An, a name that Asuka hadn’t heard she must’ve been one of the younger students within the academy possibly a first or second year either way Asuka was happy to help. "The clone technique eh, sure not a problem.” Asuka would take a swig from a bottle of water that she has on her desk and would look to the girl knowing exactly how she wants to handle this particular issue.

"First things first…can you please demonstrate the technique, I need to assess something.” As she asked this the girl would harness her sensory abilities as if to lock on to the girl chakra signature wanting to get a feel for how she molded the chakra within her body so that she could properly get a feel for how it was molded.

The clone technique was relatively simple but often proved challenging for younger students due to the nature of its formation but that what she was here for and she was ready to begin as soon as she were able, waiting patiently for her to proceed.

An was asked to demonstrate her knowledge of the technique. What did the instructor say? The young girl removed the backpack she had brought to the classroom and rummaged through it until she came across a small-sized notebook. She looked at her teacher before opening it to the market page 'Bunshin no Jutsu.'

It's not that she didn't learn how to do it; it's just that she was in a situation that made her nervous, and she liked to do everything perfectly. An decided to consult the guide to avoid making a mistake. She held the notebook up to her face and scanned the words on the page; three hand seals - Ram, Tiger, and Snake. Nothing else was observed. An, you have done great! She had hoped to have a better explanation written down, but she didn't.

Her hand seal speed was a little slower because she was trying not to mess it up. Ram, Tiger, and Snake, concentrating her chakra at her core before expelling a portion of it and creating a clone. Despite his outward appearance being a complete mess and nothing like An. Because the mass was insufficient, the clone-like creature lost its balance and vanished just a few seconds after it was created.

"That's about it," she said awkwardly to Asuka. Being less than pleased with what she had created.

Asuka would look to the girl who had set down her back and pulled down a small notebook from out of her backpack and would look through it Asuka found this to be rather charming, the poor thing must've been working very hard to get this right and had gone over those notes countless times. Whilst this went on she’d see her make her handseals the Ram Tiger and Snake to be exact as this happened Asuka would take glimpse of her chakra network as it began to mold within her body and as the clone was crafted Asuka could tell immediately that it wasn’t going to end well and she was right.

The clone was mishapen and missing proper structure akin to an abomination but the outline was the clone was correct however it was missing internal composition specifically in the structure of its upper back the point of the clone technique was to duplicate the body using chakra and when that chakra is improperly placed it creates a rather deflated clone. "Not bad An - chan but you’re chakra isn’t quite concentrated enough. You’re able to replicate your clone to the point of being able to have shape but not enough for it to maintain it’s solid form.”

Asuka would take a small piece of chalk and begin an explanation on the board. She’d draw an image of what would look to be a bottle of water. One bottle was half full, the second was overflowing and the third was less than half full. "And while I was looking at your chakra I noticed that while you were molding it, it seemed to be a little off.” see when you’re making a clone and it comes out in correct you’re usually doing one of 3 things wrong. "Either you’re using far too much chakra.” she’d point to the overflowing bottle."Which leads to a clone with an overgrown feature say an oversized limb while every other limb is even.” she’d then point to the half full bottle. "Or you aren’t using enough chakra, which tends to lead to an undersized limb.” and judging by the size of your reserves your construction seems to be rather undercutting the design on your clone.

"Try it again but this time make sure you feel out how evenly you spread your chakra, it might be a little hard but the more you do it the more you’ll get used to it okay.”

Asuka, much to An's surprise, was not a harsh teacher. It was quite common for a student to receive tutoring from a teacher with whom he or she was unfamiliar. As a result, the student could receive useful and rational feedback while being trained, but had no idea what kind of person was the other part or what their teaching style was like. For a young child like An, Asuka's explanation was simple, especially her analogy with the three bottles. She has a talent for drawing bottles! And it appeared that Asuka was skilled at drawing them, as they were drawn quickly and precisely, which must have taken a lot of practice.

"I see," An reflected, "so I used too little chakra." She tried again, closing her eyes and making the three hand signs, to direct her chakra through her body. Her hand seals were still slow, but her chakra flowed much more smoothly this time, perhaps a little too smoothly, as the result was quite amusing. Even to An, who clenched her teeth to keep from laughing out loud while avoiding eye contact with the clone.

"I don't think this is it either, right, sensei ?" she was speaking through clenched teeth, still not looking at the strange creature with the enormous head that resembled An's, but the body was weak and wobbly. Another issue was that An had no idea how to get rid of what she had created. "How do I make it disappear, Asuka-sensei?" she inquired earnestly.

With her small explanation of out the way it would appear that her young student seemed to be getting the hang of it just a bit more and anytime her students picked up on something it made the young instructor smile with glee. "There you go!” the girl would mold her chakra and Asuka would keep a keen eye on her reserves however when she molded her chakra this time around made sure to pay close attention to her handseals noting how slow they were. "Her handseals…” she’d think. As she watched her she'd notice that the molding was being held for a just a little bit too long for each seal resulting in the mess she found herself in. When it was done it was still far from perfect but with what she picked up on it made her figure it all out, but as she was lost in thought she'd hear the young child mention something about how to disperse the clone.

"Oh right, It’ll vanish on its own once the chakra necessary to contain it disperses, don't worry.” with that the girl would clear her throat. "So, let’s give it another go but this time speed up your hand seals creation you’re holding the seal for too long, I believe it’s interfering with your ability to properly craft your clone.” She’d see the younger children struggle with this before and it wasn’t too uncommon either, she had her own struggles with it herself and would arguably struggle even more nowadays. "Go on An give it another shot and remember speed up your seals.” she'd say attempting to encourage.

It was certainly reassuring to know that An's atrocity would fade away on its own. Though it was much more difficult to focus on the task at hand with the thing next to An, the occasional glance swept over her concentration as she tried not to laugh. It lasted about a minute before it vanished. It didn't take long because An didn't use too much chakra when creating the clone.

As Asuka had mentioned, An's hand seals had been held in one place for too long, resulting in the misshapen creatures next to An. "I understand; I'll try to do it faster!" she replied. Of course, saying it was easier than doing it. The next few attempts produced the same result. But the young girl was not one to give up, even though her chakra reserves were depleted in comparison to when she began.

Despite this, after a few more failed attempts, her hands began to memorize the seals required for this particular jutsu, becoming faster and more precise, just as Asuka had taught. "Asuka-sensei, I think this time might be it," she said confidently, because the last few clones looked exactly like An, save for a few minor details here and there.

"Here we go!" She took another stance, performed her hand seals at a faster pace than she had at the beginning, and finally! A clone who resembled the little girl had appeared next to her. "I did it!" her voice was full of joy as she looked at her teacher, hoping for some kind of compliment.

The girl had watched as her student attempted to place her hand together in an effort to try and master the technique as she watched her she’d note the way that her hand seals were placed together seeing the chakra become slightly molded a bit better flowing together she’d keep her eyes on it to make sure that it was properly moving in tandem as it should be. Eventually after a short moment of time the clone would come together.

"That’s it…” when the puff of smoke cleared the girl would see that the clone was fully formed and looked exactly as it needed to be. "Excellently done An -chan!” the girl would say smiling to the younger child. "But just because you nailed it once is no excuse to slack off we’ll give it a few more tries just to make sure you have it down consistently!” the girl would remark with a hearty smile to the young Gure.

Many students tend to get complacent and forget their practices but in their line of work inefficiency could be the difference between life and death, which isn’t something anyone wants so she wanted to make sure they hammered the point home.

Summary:

Asuka would be caught in the mist and would attempt to strike out at the young girl using the [Silken Fist: Counter Blow] but due to her uncertainty of where to strike her follow through was poor and may or may not have hit her target. However in the process of doing so she was caught with a strike to the gut by her opponent and pushed further into the mist for now she awaits her opponents next move.

Heavy Handed Iron Fist:
With the rigorous training that Asuka had to endure as she honed her body to levels of perfection rivaling that of any martial arts master. Asuka's strength has increased 10 fold to the point where she is able to crush stoned within her grasp and breaks bones of lesser individuals with ease. And while she still has much to learn as a chunin. The youth's power is not one to be challenged lightly, as she is able to perform physical feats that would seem inhuman to even most shinobi.

Hijutsu: Kinu no Eikyō:
Asuka is a member of the Waruichi clan and as such has the ability to control a special chakra infused silk that was forged by a special group of silkworms that feed on the corpses of dead clansmen. With it Asuka can craft and shape the silk to her will and uses it in a mostly supplementary fashion to aid her in battle alongside her powerful taijutsu skills.

Iron Burst:
As a sole practitioner of Taijutsu Asuka has relentlessly pushed her body against itself for spectacular results: her strength carries over into her speed, and as such alongside the control she exerts body in spirit and in mind, she is intensely faster than those of a similar level of strength and maneuvering expertly as if the air were an extension of her own body.

A Disciplined Iron Bull:
During Asuka's time as a genin the youth had begun to realize that in order to excel as a shinobi she needed to learn how to properly utilize her chakra. And while she doesn't posses the greatest of reserves the youth has learned through rigorous meditation how to keep her chakra still and calm. As a result she is now able to wield it with a great deal of control and is able to channel only the necessary amounts of chakra into the few jutsu she uses in order to make the most of their abilities whilst still being able to keep up in a fight.

It didn't take long for An to receive the validation she so desperately needed, after so many failed attempts and now - the first successful. "Certainly, Asuka-sensei. I'll try it a few more times!" she exclaimed, confident that she would be able to repeat it.

An was the kind of student who learned the most from her own experiences and hard work. As a result, once she understood how something worked, it was relatively simple for her to replicate it in an organized manner. And this was no exception. As the smoke from the Jutsu faded, an An impersonator appeared time after time. Looking and acting just like the young girl. "I think I've got it now, Asuka-sensei," she paused, "I won't hold you back any longer, it seems the sun has nearly set in the time you helped me."

The sun indeed had almost set by the time An had mastered this technique. "Thank you so much for today, Asuka-sensei," she said, grateful to have met such an experienced and kind teacher. She had a completely different impression of the older woman before the start of their lesson.

An took her backpack and bowed to her teacher before exiting the classroom and closing the sliding wooden door as she headed back home for the day, pleased with herself and eager to brag about her accomplishments to her family members.
