[attr="class","lightbluetext"]Zisu was an odd girl, everyone knew that. She didn’t exactly 'fit in' with what was considered normal. So no one found it at all odd to see the girl doing cartwheels around the training grounds in a large circle.

She didn’t have any real reason for doing the cartwheels. If asked, her reasoning would be because it was fun and had seemed like a good idea when she had started. Which had been a while ago. When she had begun her odd activity, Zisu had been just doing the normal two-handed cartwheels, but by now she had advanced to one-handed and occasionally no-handed cartwheels.

If pressed to come up with an acceptable reason, she guessed she could say it was good practice for dodging. She did need to work on that particular skill anyhow, if she did want to take her abilities as a kunoichi seriously.

She was becoming quite the master of cartwheels, if she did say so herself. But, she was also alone in her practice. She needed something real to dodge to actually get the most out of her "practice".

The best option would be to summon someone, probably Basagiri, and have them attack her while she tried to dodge. Or maybe she could find a human someone. She had been told to try and work on her "people skills". It all depended really on if any of the people who had been staring at her antics approached her within the next few minutes…otherwise, Basagiri it was.

She has exemplary knowledge of the body's nerve points, the natural weak spots of the body and the strengths and weaknesses of utilizing them. With this knowledge she's able to perform quick strikes to these points in order to inflict pain or paralysis.

And while she doesn't have any proper medical knowledge, Zisu is also able to utilize her knowledge of pressure points to help relieve minor pain within herself or others.

So there's someone you want me too meet? Yes dear, now stop fidgeting. The Sage of Kusa, newly appointed, had his first assignment for reaching this grand achievement. Though it wasn't from Lady Kanoh, who had just announced she'd be stepping down soon. A bit of a sore spot for the boy actually given that out of all the leaders of Kusagakure she was the one he'd actually known the best, and he had interacted with the most. But this announcement from her meant she was busy with, well, a lot of things he wasn't privy too, and that meant he was both free and willing to fulfill another request. A request from the boys second family, the mantises. And that was exactly what was accompanying him down his walk down the street of the village, the put upon bug struggling to hold down his one arm like he was a child resisting a parents insistance on tidying them up. And that was actually not to far from the truth as the mantis accompanying him was Koishi, doting and more than willing to pin him down to check his temperature. She'd seen him almost die coughing blood once, and she wasn't going to let it happen again.

I told you I feel fine I'm-Owowow... Yuushi hated check ups. It was a battle to get the most simplistic of things from him when it came to doctors and check ups, and when needles or hospitals got involved it would become an all out war. But unfortunately, this wasn't a battle he was going to win, his arm pinned with her right forearm, and she used her other one to check his forehead, before trying to tidy up the boys hair a bit. You need a trim... However, she'd soon release her patient, and he'd scramble away, like a prey that had just escaped the jaws of a predator and trying to make sure it doesn't get snatched up again. I can't help it, I've been busy... The boy said as he checked his hair, trying to make sure it wasn't too straightened out. He was really starting to regret not having summoned Basagiri.

So who am I meeting? The green haired boy couldn't help but ask, curious at the request. He'd actually summoned Koishi because he was lonely, but she'd told the boy that now that he'd become the true Sage of the village he had to meet someone. And Yuushi liked meeting people so he was all for it. But no matter how much he tried, he couldn't get much more out of her, just that he was meeting someone. It was obviously supposed to be a surprise, but he was getting antsy now, wanting to find out just who he was meeting. And he didn't have to wait any more, as the motherly mantis had been tidying up his hair for a reason, as she pointed to a lone girl in the training area of the Academy. Doing...Cartwheels.That's her. Now go and introduce yourself dear. Although... Yuushi could already tell it was coming, the second guessing on whether his hair was neat enough or if it needed a bit more playing with. And he'd hurry away before she could snatch him up like a fly carelessly flying by, approaching the girl. Hi, I'm Yuushi. What are you doing?

"Stop right there! Feline menace!!!” The shouts of a young girl reverberated within the streets of the inner business district of Kusagakure no Sato, followed by the pitter-patter of paws and sandals hitting the grassy parts of the pavement. In an area that transitioned from the shopping district to the training grounds, Sachi followed far behind a large calico-colored stray carrying a small sac in his mouth.

Sachi was not on a shinobi mission but a mission on her own, a mission to get back what was stolen from her. Last week, she had plans of cooking up dashi stock to prep for the week’s breakfast when, comically, a large cat had stolen the bonito flakes she wanted to test out. It wasn’t the first time this had happened within the city, but it was the first time it had blatantly happened to her. Unfortunately, this morning it happened again. Even the trap she set up for the calico failed, and so she was forced to set on a foot chase to get back her stolen goods, still in her pajamas and her messy hair not tied up in her usual twin tails.

She memorized every route the alley cat might’ve taken in the city, shortcuts and all. However, it seemed her stamina wasn’t on par with her eidetic memory. Turning a corner, she realized that the calico had passed her destination and sprinted towards a cartwheeling(?) person and another, both she slightly recognized. Not paying attention to the path in front of her, she tripped over a patch of grass, her face falling flat into the dirt and the cat getting further and further away.

[attr="class","lightbluetext"]Zisu was upside down, balancing on one hand, feet in the air, as she contemplated what her next course of action would be. She was wondering if she should summon someone to help her train when she caught a glimpse of a familiar mantis walking about.

Smile growing on her face, the girl swung her feet to the side, doing a sort of round off before popping up right side up. She jogged over to Koishi, all bright and bubbly, waving as she went.

"Hi Koishi!" she said, once she got close. "What’re you doing here? Not that I’m not happy to see you. I am happy. But it’s weird to see you out and about Kusa when I didn’t summon you and I didn’t summon you. Who’s that with you?"

The flood of words came to a close with Zisu locking eyes on the skinny, green-haired man standing next to the large mantis. She didn’t have to wonder about his identity for long, as he quickly introduced himself.

"Hi Yuushi! I’m Zisu!" she greeted back. "I was doing cartwheels. Seemed like a fun idea." She was completely unapologetic about the odd behavior.

"Yes, and you’ve completely messed up your hair," Koishi said, large scythe-claws coming up to fuss over the golden birdsnest of hair.

Zisu let it happen, she was used to this kind of behavior from the motherly mantis. Besides, her attention was solely on Yuushi anyway. "So, why’re you hanging out with Koishi?" she asked.

Before Yuushi could answer, however, there was a loud yell and some pink-haired girl ran by them, chasing a cat. She didn’t get very far however, tripping over something and face planting directly into the dirt as the feline made its get away. Zisu winced at the scene. "Ouchie."

Koishi, of course, made a noise of concern and scurried over to the pinkette in order to help her back up to her feet. "Oh dear, are you all right?" the mantis asked as she fussed.

"Yeah," Zisu echoed, crouching down as if looking at the damage to the ground. "You did quite a number, sure you’re okay?"

The older teen watched as the girl immediately ran up to Koishi, her hair impressively even messier than his own, and her thoughts seemed to start jumnling out on this surprise meeting, inquiring just how the motherly mantis had even gotten here. A fair enough question, it wasn't exactly common for them to travel into the village. In fact, their very discovery had happened well after the young man had been born. Which is why he was surprised someone so young had such an intimate relationship with the kind mantis that was now showering the strange girl in affection, a relationship just as if not closer than his own to the one that had saved his life and taken him in. He still didn't know anything about this girl, but he know had a better idea on why he'd been asked to meet her at least.

And that was when he'd finally be acknowledged, with the boy being polite enough to introduce himself at least. A chivalrous attitude that was enough to make both his birth mother and his adoptive bug mother proud of the man he'd become. And that gentlemanly attitude would get stopped in its tracks as the girl explained what she was doing, the older teen blinking with his polite, kind smile seemingly stuck on his face from his brain skipping a step. O-Oh...I see. He hadn't been expecting such an honest answer there, though it did confirm just what type of girl this was, someone who said and did whatever came to mind. A lack of inhibition, something that the younger man actually highly valued, being brave was important and you can't be brave and inhibited.

Thankfully he'd regain composure, just as the girl asked how he knew the mantis now playing with the girls hair and not his own. A lucky break. Well- And before he could answer, he'd be interrupted again. This time by the appearance of a pink haired girl appearing from around the corner, chasing a cat. And it ended in a resounding cat victory when the girl face planted in front of them and the cat making a break for it, right past the jacket wearing teen. However, reflexes kicked in and his were quite good, arms snapping out and snatching the cat right when it made the final push for freedom past him as if he were a mantis himself. He didn't actually know why he was catching this cat, the girl had been chasing it so it seemed like a good idea at the time. Much less so when the claws came out.

It came close to his nose, the sharp retribution of a wronged kitty, and he panickedly started holding it out of reach of him, as if it were a dangerous beast he was keeping at arms length. And it wasn't too far from the truth. He'd look back at the girl who'd chased this feline menace, seeing Koishi predictably fretting over her while the girl he'd come here to meet, Zisu, checked up on her as well. He was glad he'd chosen Koishi to accompany him now, he had a feeling Basagiri might've complicated this situation knowing her. So what happened? Why were you chasing this caaaa-

Achoo!

Once again interrupted, this time by a sneeze. The cat hair had managed to tickle his nose just enough cause him start sneezing. And he froze, like prey, hoping that without moving he'd be invisible from predators. Or a possibly slightly overprotective motherly insect who had no qualms doing a complete medical diagnostic in public and minimal consent. Thankfully, she was preoccupied with her other patient, and he could let out a sigh of relief. Which came out as another sneeze. Sorry about that. Anyways, is this your cat??
