As the first rays of dawn caressed his room, Akirei stirred awake, feeling an eager determination to train coursing through him. Today was meant for honing his skills and made him one step closer to his goal. With grace, he slowly floated out from his bed. Next to him was his personal mask, lying on top of the table with a comforting aura. It was his sanctuary, the barrier that had shielded him from the world. Yet today, it felt different. For the very first time, he felt like he was ready to embrace what lay beyond.

Quickly grabbing his mask, he made his way to his mother's room, greeted her, and bid her a tender farewell. She was the one and only person who truly loved him unconditionally, making her the only person he would not feel shy of. After leaving a kiss on her cheek, he sprinted out, calling, "Mom, I'm off for training! I will be back before dinner!"

On his way to the training field near the academy, he passed through the lively village. As usual, Akirei had little interactions with others due to his shy personality. He had no plans to change that either because of some terrible experiences with the locals in his childhood. With his mask on his face, he ran past them without exchanging greetings.

Upon reaching the academy, he looked around for the one person he was eager to see again, Yugao Uka, the spirited girl who had trained with him a few weeks before. Akirei wasn't sure if they would meet again, but it wouldn't hurt to try. If she wasn't around, he would just train on his own, just like his usual days.

Seeing the training grounds filled with many people upon his arrival, Akirei felt a little weirded out. Even if there was an outdoor class, there should not have been that many people in one place. Something must have happened. Regardless, he was here to see if Yugao Uka was around and, if possible, to train together and perhaps exchange thoughts and knowledge with each other.

Unable to gain a complete view of the field due to his height, Akirei activated his clan's most famous hijutsu and transformed himself into an angelic form. It wasn't a complete transformation - he only manifested a small pair of wings, allowing him to hover above the sky and get a good look at the expansive grass plain. As he glanced around, his eyes fell upon a familiar figure in the distance - Uka herself, surrounded by an array of ethereal creatures that seemed to dance around her.

Intrigued, Akirei quickly deactivated his angelic form to conserve his chakra and rushed toward an empty spot, his personal mask securely fastened to his face. He watched as Uka's focused gaze and gentle gestures seemed to command the creatures with precision.

He stood there for a while, observing her intently until he was spotted. Akirei finally approached Uka, his mask imbuing him with a sense of courage. "Hello, Uka." he greeted softly, his voice muffled by the mask. "Those are some cute pets." Realising how awkward his introduction was, he quickly revealed his intention, "Hmm… would you like to practise together?"

Akirei hadn't initially realised the full extent of what he was approaching. The sight of those ethereal butterflies and moths struck him with a deep sense of awe. Their delicate forms seemed almost otherworldly and had certainly captured his attention. His fascination with beauty and elegance had been a trait of his since childhood.

"They are marvellous…" He uttered the words almost involuntarily, his voice carrying a whisper of genuine wonder. As reality reasserted itself, he quickly offered an apology for his momentary lapse. "I'm sorry, I was just so captivated by those little creatures." With a small adjustment to his mask, he managed to reorient his focus back to the ongoing conversation. "Coincidentally, I am also trying to refine my chakra control."

As soon as he completed his sentence, he extracted a piece of paper from his palm, the raw material of his intention. Gently, his fingers worked in measured motions, folding and bending the paper into an intricate origami butterfly. It was a delicate artistry that demanded origami skill; yet, the true essence lay in the control of chakra flow, a skill he aimed to perfect. To delve into more complex crafts would require a heightened mastery over his own chakra manipulation.

Furthering this practice, a few more white paper butterflies emerged from his hands. Each one was treated with care, infused with his chakra before being released into the air.
