Sometimes, Sho envied other people who were more ignorant of their limitations. Sho knew more than any other just how much he was and wasn't able to actually do, and though he was always trying to improve how much he could do and how well he could do it, he also knew just where his limitations lay.
Ren, on the other hand, seemed 100% confident that everything would go well. He was optimistic, in the same sort of way that a blind man might see the world as far more beautiful than it actually was. Still, technically Sho had already given him the warning and there was nothing more that he actually had to say on the matter. If the boy got himself injured by ignoring doctor's orders, well then that was what would happen.
You couldn't blame a doctor for a patient refusing to take their medicine after all.
Without listening to a single word Sho had said, Ren ran off, putting all that pressure and chakra through his injured leg. Still, despite all of Shosuke's worries, the boy seemed to be fine. At least for now, he was showing no symptoms of any further complications and he was putting weight on his leg without issue. Or, at least, so it seemed for the first few seconds before the boy's body caught up with him.
In a single moment, the boy's leg slipped out from under him and he went flying, tumbling over and over and over until he came to a final stop in the middle of a dust cloud. Yet, rather than tearing up or letting out a wail of agony, the boy simply sat up and began massaging his leg. From where Sho was standing, it was becoming harder and harder to work out just how serious this boy's injuries actually were.
"Fine my ass." Sho said, his tone becoming increasingly annoyed as the boy continued to try and deflect from the seriousness of the situation.
"Look, stay there, alright? I'm going to call over one of the doctors from the local clinic, see if they can give you a full examination of your limb. Trust me, you'll thank me later when you don't crap out in the middle of the Exams...."It seemed the more stressed Shosuke became, the more that vulgar tongue of his came into play, swearing like a sailor. But, if nothing else, at least it showed that he actually cared.
