For a moment a wicked smile spread across the lips of the young Genin. He had won, taken down his prey and stood there victorious. The screams of a man burning alive brought him back to his senses. He froze watching the man burn, the fire spreading across his clothes and body. Ino trotted up to him looking over to the burning man. She could see the conflict on his face and brushed her head against his open palm. The fur brushing against his skin was a reminded of who he was still alive to see. The man had attacked him with intent to kill, Yamatsu had survived again, it was a mistake the other man would not be able to make again. One of Sho's clones appeared quickly summoning a flood of water extinguishing the flames burning the man they had been after. Yamatsu shook from a mixture of adrenaline and nausea as the man lay there smoldering. He could not tell if the clone was proud or disappointed in all honesty it did not matter. As the clone said the job was completed one way or the other. He did not acknowledge the last part of the clones statement for he also agreed that the man should have been killed instead of spared to live a life of constant pain. "Ino... Oki, lets go home." His voice could not hide how emotionally tired he was. He looked around for Sho hoping to find the other boy and head home as swiftly as possible.
