Tsugime wished he could say he this was the first time he was experiencing such unhinged ferocity from someone else in Kiri but in truth it wasn't, hell, it wasn't even the first Kuronmeru he had come across as Enyu had roughed him up during a mock mission a while back. But even that knowledge brought little comfort to the Yuki as a swift and heavy foot conneted with his midsection causing him to exhale sharply as the pain threatened to knock the breath out of him. Out of instinct an arm went to cover the pained area though it was now taking the brunt of the kicks and would no doubt be bruised or worse if this kept on for too long.

The boy could hear the bloodied Kuronmeru taunting him but was in no position to give a retort seeing as how he was trying his best to keep his ribs from getting broken. Tsugime knew he wouldn't be able to take much more of this if he wanted to keep his teams flag safe while also wanting to retain some personal pride and avoid getting knocked out in the first round. The one on one fights weren't supposed to be until later but fate had other ideas it seemed.

Trying to simply stand back up would probably be met with more abuse so the only option was to try and bring his opponent down to his level. From his kneeled position Tsugime would move his blocking arm away and try to wrap them around Yosei's legs as he came in for another kick fully accepting the brunt of the attack if he wasn't quick enough to stop him before pushing up off his own legs to perform the most awkward looking pile driver. The goal was to catch the Kuronmeru slightly off balance being on one leg and put him on his back, and if that worked then it was Tsugime's turn to swing away best he could. His arms felt like they had multiple pairs of hung gar rings attached to them and it hurt to put too much weight on his knee but if the Yuki was going to go down he was gonna go down swinging!

[attr="class","ttearText13"] Two-on-one certainly would prove a good advantage to the group especially if it meant they could get that flag that Tota had. The only question that remained was where was the flag exactly. They would probably need to knock him out to find it on him somewhere so using their combined might that shouldn't prove to be much of a problem right? Well, it would have had the adversary Risa had taken down didn't get right back up. Which just put them back to square one and honestly Tsubasa didn't like this. Even more so when he found himself being tackled by said boy.

Because of their warning, Tsubasa was able to defend against the attack. by strengthening his stance, thus bracing himself for the impact. He would still be pushed away from the action his cousin was undergoing against Tota though so he would have to focus on this boy instead. Using his arms he would grab onto Dansui as he tackled him wrapping his arms under Dansui's and using the other boy's momentum begin bending backwards. This would hopefully send the boy down to the ground so his head would hit the ground with enough force to knock him out for good.

[Dansui]

Dansui’s attack has connected! Even if the boy had braced himself, it had still hit. Dansui was always one to take advantage of such situations. Taking one of the shuriken that the boy had been hit with earlier, Dansui flung his arm out in a jab, with the shuriken at the end of his hand. This didn't stop the other boy from locking one of Dansuis arms though, at least one of them was free. In order to avoid getting his head slammed, Dansui planned his feet firmly on the ground, raising one foot up before attempting to stomp on Tsubasas heel. Hopefully, it would disrupt the boys attempt to harm Dansui more than he already was.

By now, the boys chakra was running a little low for what he had wanted. He'd planned out how much chakra he'd have at certain increments of time beforehand. Needless to say, it hadn't gone according to plan. But it'd be worth it if he could just knock Tsubasa out. The boy attempted to shift behind Tsubasa, grabbing him by the waist. Taking a page from Tsubasas book, Dansui leaned back, holding the boys waist tightly as his head would hopefully collide with the ground.

[Kuronmeru Yosei]

The first kick sunk into the boys gut, Yosei's grin growing both in size and devilishness. The second kick found resistance though, the boy finally raising his hands to protect his vulnerables. Just like had with his face, and just like before with his face Yosei once again kept hitting repeatedly. You still insist on fighting back...Why don't you just surrender...AND DIE! The boy broke his usual chill demeanor, the fight, excitement, and of course blood making him just as excited. And then he lifted back his leg for one big kick, as if to emphasize that the boy before him wasn't worthy of living. And once again, just like when he'd been striking at the boys face, he left himself open. And his vulnerability was taken advantage of.

The wound up kick ended up not blocked, but caught, and once again the boy was caught off balance from his attack being thrown off. You... He wasn't actually interrupted from finishing his thought this time, instead he was just so annoyed he didn't even have just one insult ready. And before he could shake off this newly attached nuisance and cuss him out while kicking him some more, instead he found his balance worsened as the grey haired boy stood up, forcing Yosei backwards. And he'd fall over, a shout of surprise before smashing into the ground with a gasp of his own, the impact stunning him. And that momentary stun was also seized upon, the boy now finding his face being hit. And it would be for the first few punches thrown, before he could finally raise his arms crossed over his head, with him being the one playing defense now, his head aching after the repeated hits to it. Not even the blood was making it feel better.

But while he did try and protect his head with his arms, he'd still have his legs. He'd try and work them up and place them under his assailant, try and manage to push him off. And he'd aim all the places he knew would hurt, his knees and midsection if he could, places he'd knew hurt because he was the one that had hurt them. And he was going to continue to hurt them

[Tota]

Tota heard the thump of three shuriken land against Risa's back just as he had planned with the cleverly timed roll. He had hoped it wasn't too painful for the girl, except he knew for sure that wouldn't be the case. Lifting a hand to his side, fingers tightly gripped the two ribs where Tsubasa's shuriken had struck. Beneath his jacket Tota could feel the tender skin and familiar sensation of blood dribbling beneath his jacket. However he continued to punch, as before. His strike against her throat seemingly did little to create a reprieve.

The continuous onslaught of punches Tota threw at Risa gave him an opportunity to push back with some distance and jump onto his feet. He looked at the girl, still laying on the ground covered in dirt and what appeared to be bruises. Tota wasn't completely sure, his vision slightly distorted by a swollen eye; one of the blows Risa managed to connect well. The lethargy he felt earlier had all but vanished amongst the chaos of the fight replaced now by physical pain all over. Ragged breath exhaled his lungs as he carefully contemplated his next move. Without second thought he ran towards the left side of the field and preformed a series of handseals.

As bitter of a fight as Risa tried to put up, she just wasn’t a match for Tota’s natural inclination towards taijutsu. His skill in close combat worked perfectly with his medical knowledge; he knew exactly where to grab Risa and how to force her to move her body, and while her own wild haymakers had a good amount of strength behind them, she just couldn’t keep up with Tota’s raw skill. She was shoved into the line of fire of the three shuriken that Tsubasa had thrown. They were blunted, so they didn’t draw blood, but they still hurt and she knew that black-purple bruises would be blossoming on her skin within a few hours. Her hair-fist had managed to connect, sort of, but Tota chopped her in the throat, knocking the air right out of her and forcing her to double over and wheeze. She lost control of the hair technique, partially because her concentration had been shot—but more importantly, because she was running dangerously low on chakra. Tota escaped; she knew he had the flag, Tsubasa had said so, but she had no idea where he was hiding it. Her team was in trouble. Dansui had gotten up and was attacking Tsubasa, while Tsugime and the third boy from the enemy team had been in a bloody beat-em-down fight for most of the bout so far. What to do? Where to go? Should she help her teammates or go for the flag? What was the correct choice? What would Kyoka-sensei do?—easy question, easier answer. Mission success at any cost. But what would Ichigoni do? What would An do? What would the Mizukage want her to do? In the end, jaw clenched, teeth gritted, Risa chose the mission. Still wheezing, she hauled herself to her feet and once again flung herself at Tota, feet pounding hard against the grass as she raced to get back in close combat with him. She tried to stomp on his foot, break his toes and keep him from running, and she just hoped it was worth it—regardless of the outcome, her reserves dwindled down to nothing, and she could feel unconsciousness beginning to overtake her.

[DESCRIPTION] The dismantling stomp is meant to be used in a close quarters situation and involves the user lifting their foot and putting an immense amount of pressure into a stomp onto the opponents toes or instep of their foot causing a mild pain which may make it hard for the opponent to move.

When used by a Taijutsu user this attack can potentially disable the victim's ability to walk if the stomp is strong enough and can even break the users toes.

When used by a Bukijutsu user this jutsu is effective in giving the weapon wielder a chance for a follow up strike, such as a quick jab with the end of a blade or even a quick slash of the sword or kunai.

[Yuki Tsugime]

The boy's face hurt too much to smile upon seeing his blood-crazed opponent flipped on his back like some demonic turtle. Tsugime did his best to keep the pressure on and was even able to get in a few good shorts to Yosei's face which he hoped would knock the kid out. If the young Yuki was stronger, had been more diligent in his training, then maybe he could have managed it but at current and with his own injuries piling up it just wasn't possible at the moment; at the very least the student would hope to dish out enough damage to finally make Yosei see that he wasn't going to just roll over and get beat up.

All good things must come to an end and they did so in painful fashion. Tsugime had thought him simply sitting on top of the Kuronmeru would be enough to keep his legs pinned to the ground yet it was not the case as they had managed to slip into a position where his opponent was able to start kicking him. Had they not been places that were already hurting --granted that was just about everywhere at this point-- then Tsugime would have tried to tough it out but the pain in his midsection and knees was enough for his body to fall back out of a need of self-preservation.

Scrambling back to his feet with a smidge of distance between himself and Yosei he'd take a quick glance at the field at large to see what was going on. His other two teammates were locked in fights of their own though he noticed that Tota was dashing away from Risa. Did she have him on the ropes? It was impossible to tell but they had managed to keep them away from the flag for now, though it didn't look like they were any closer to getting the enemies flag either... which... he couldn't see. Had one of them actually managed to grab it? If there was more time to observe then maybe Tsugime could have gotten a better picture of things but he was sure that Yosei would be on his feet in moments and not smart enough to know how to stay down.

[attr="class","ttearText13"] Tsubasa's attempt at grasping both of Dansui's arms kinda failed as he was only able to grab one arm. This ruined his whole plan of knocking the other boy out and instead resulted in Tsubasa being stomped on by him. "Agh!" he would scream out from the pain of the hit, but it wouldn't stop him from fighting it would though give Dansui an opening for an attack of their own and they chose to imitate what Tsubasa had planned to do.

The opening left would mean Dansui would be able to initiate the attack, but since he went for his waist instead of his arms this meant Tsubasa had his opening. Using his two free hands he would grab two kunai and prepare for both a defensive maneuver and an offensive one at once. Using his left-handed kunai he would thrust the kunai into the other boy's side to hopefully disrupt his movements. With his right-handed kunai, he would lean into the attack and stab the kunai into the ground using it as a pivot point to readjust his trajectory so he would land on his shoulder. Using the momentum he would roll into it letting him go relatively unscathed though he would sense a tinge of pain in his arm from the impact still. Once he regained composure he would then push off the ground and begin rushing forward with two new kunai in hand and would begin slashing away at Dansui hoping the blunt edges would bruise him up enough to knock him out.

[Dansui]

This matchup was much better, for dansui. The boy was much more adept in dealing with bukijutsu fighter than taijutsu. And it seemed that Tsubasa was heavy into utilizing bukijutsu. He had disrupted tsubasa's attack and his plan had worked. Sensing his opportunity, dansui would punch Tsubasa straight in the knee at close distance as the first kunai hit his side. A slight grunt was all that escaped the boys mouth as he bit his lower lip, focusing on the pain from that instead. Thankfully, the second jab wasn't all that painful and he had mostly used it to pivot and roll away from his opponent.

As Tsubasa successfully rolled away dansui looked at the boy. "You're not too bad. Though, i would recommend using more than just weapons." He complimented, though he really just needed to take a second to catch his breath. He'd at least gotten Tsubasa away from Risa and tota. So that was a plus. The boy would then do a couple handseals in order to use the body replacement technique. He'd rather be prepared for whatever Tsubasa was going to throw at him this time. Though, maybe he shouldn't give the boy any advice during a competition.

[Kuronmeru Yosei]

It was ironic, outside of his face Yosei wasn't really hurt all that much. And the boy on top of him, who'd been hitting that face until he'd raised his arms, was hurt everywhere but the face for the most part. And not from lack of trying on the boy whose black blood was pouring out of more than just his nose now. His lip cut against his attackers knuckles and his own teeth, his cheeks scratched and dripping softly. A huge headache forming as he made a desperate attempt to get the grey haired boy off him, uncomfortably twisting his legs to be able to apply pressure to places he'd knew would hurt. Places that got him to retreat, to give him room to recover. And as the scar wearing boy got up, he'd look...relaxed. He wasn't smiling anymore, but he wasn't looking like he was ready to pounce either. He simply breathed heavily, catching his breath as the other boy waited looked at how the match overall was going, still concerned with winning. But for Yosei, there was only one thing in existence right now, and that was the red eyed boy standing across from him. And as Tsugime waited, Yosei wouldn't stay down, but make his move.

He'd rush the boy, no feints this time or blinding attacks, no punches or kicks. Instead just a straight bolt and tackle, the black haired teen trying to get him to the ground. And if he could any dignity would go out the windows, no longer a duel but an all-out schoolyard brawl, Yosei throwing punch after punch at that stupid undamaged head while rolling around, trying to stay on top of him. Trying to maintain a grip on him while still being able to attack. Trying to cause as much damage as he could. He'd even push his head into the ground if was able, smashing it repeatedly again st the earth, against rock, against anything. Yosei had entered a mode of bloodlust, and this time it wasn't his but Tsugimes he had sole interest in drawing out. He wanted the soil to be watered in red.

Tota grinned back as he saw the girl rise to her feet. He knew she wouldn't stay down for long, her perseverance being almost unmatched amongst their peers. His eyes widened as she bolted in his direction, trying to take in as much visual stimulation as possible. It took less than a couple of seconds for her to reach him and reengage in close combat once again. Immediately she stole the initiative, slamming her foot down on his own in an attempt to stifle his movements. A grunt flew out from the depths of Tota's throat, followed by his head cocking back in pain. It felt like an eternity for the boy as he held on for as long as possible. He then looked back down at Risa and gave her a quick grin before a cloud of smoke engulfed him.

As the smoke dissipated, what remained was a piece of wood and Tota was nowhere to be seen from Risa's perspective. In reality Tota had taken cover in the bushes nearby, carefully hiding his presence from the view of others. He'd peak through the foliage careful not to disturb them too much and towards the girl now standing alone, attempting to gauge her next move.

Risa failed. She had tried her best to make a final stand, to turn the tide of the battle in her team’s favor, even abandoning her cousin to his fate to make it happen… and for all her effort, she failed. She hadn’t seen Tota prepare the substitution technique, had no idea it was coming, and when she stomped her foot hard onto his she thought for a brief moment that she’d won—but then he grinned at her, cocksure, and in a puff of smoke he was gone. She whirled in place with a cry of frustration, trying to see where he’d disappeared to, but to no avail. Spinning around made her dizzy, and getting dizzy made her realize just how exhausted she was, the last of her chakra and stamina expended on trying so hard to lock Tota in place… but once again he proved himself to be better than her. Risa collapsed, falling to her knees with a sudden wave of exhaustion. She laid down right there in the grass, unable to muster up the strength to keep trying. Failure piled atop of failure, and with her utter disappointment, her reserves drained down to nothing, and her team’s loss in sight, there was nothing for her to do but close her eyes and wait for darkness to take her. [RISA IS OUT OF THE FIGHT.]

If he could have kept the boy pinned to the ground Tsugime definitely would have, as giving Yosei an opportunity to get up basically put them back on neutral ground. He was stupid to think that someone from that clan would ever let reason and a beaten and bloodied face stop them from wanting more punishment though as he watched Yosei get back on his feet it was the only thing the young Yuki could imagine was keeping the other kid on his feet. He hadn't made a move for the flag at all like the only thing running through his mind was fighting, which if there wasn't a second round that was just fights would have made more sense, but to each their own.

Tsugime would have to spend time waxing philosophical later as he watched the boy charge in at him yet again. Simply moving out of the way would have been great, but as the boy tried to put pressure on his banged up knees pain shot through him causing him to stumble a bit and in the next moments he was tackled and back on the ground. There were a flurry of blows aimed at his head which Tsugime would do his best to block yet in the quantity there was a lack of focus. None of them were super strong but Yosei was content on trying to just out punch him, that was, until he tried to grab his head and slam it into the ground. "Get your... damn hands off.. me." The boy spoke through gritted teeth. He knew that a couple taps of the ground would definitely leave him down for the count and it was now or never to try and prevent it.

The young Yuki would do his best to hold his head up and prevent an intimate meeting with the ground as his aimed to grab hold of Yosei's head with both of his hands before trying to press his thumbs into the boys eyes; not blind him --permanently, at least-- but apply enough pressure to make him have to consider focusing on something else rather than punching and maiming.

[attr="class","ttearText13"] This was getting ridiculous. Nothing was going to plan and the team wasn't functioning together very well to make matters worse Risa was now out for the count! Tsubasa's next actions had to count and honestly, he wasn't sure what to do. At least Dansui didn't seem to avoid his slashes after he pivoted off the ground so he would get those hits in. Still, he wasn't about to just waste time dealing with Dansui. He needed to get Tota towards their side, but with it now possibly being a two versus one situation he needed to fall back.

So throwing a kunai at dansui he would use them as a distraction as he rushed his way back over to his side of the pitch. He needed to help out his teammate Tsugime especially if they were at a disadvantage. A tactical retreat if you would besides if Dansui decided to chase him it would at least keep the numbers even since Tota would need to stay on their end of the pitch less he makes it to where their team wins anyway. As Tsubasa got closer and the other two boys, Tsugime and Yosei, got clearer he chucked his leftover kunai at Yosei hoping to give Tsugime an opening to counterattack.

[Kuronmeru Yosei]

It was back again, the deranged smile of a boy from a deranged clan, though this time the aggression behind it was leaking. His face twitching with each thwack, with each smack against the ground, going from a creepy grin to almost frustration. Frustration that he hadn't yet won this fight. He'd been dominating it, he was still dominating it, atop the boy as he introduced the now dirty faced boys head to the ground. Yet his face was equally dirty, black smeared all over, his blood from this boys attacks. He'd been in control for most of their match, so why was he so damaged, how had this boy managed to do so much with so little.

Any other person might re-evaluate either strategy or the strength between them, that this fight was more even than he'd maybe realized. But as he kept trying to concuss his opponent, that wasn't on his mind right now. All he wanted now was to break the boy beneath him, beat him until he stopped moving, stopped fighting back. Until that head of his was as damaged as his own. And he'd drag his opponent to his level of ruthless fighting when the boy pressed his thumbs into his eyes. AHHH! He'd yell and recoil, no longer smacking the grey haired boy's head as he tried to protect the one place his beloved blood couldn't reach. And that blood would smear even more across his face as he rubbed them, though his vision was blurred. Their scenarios from a few moments ago now switched, with him being the blinded one. But the aggressive boy didn't retreat. Instead with his other arm he searched half-blindedly on the ground, patting around until he gripped something solid. Then he'd swing it where his opponents head had been last. The games were over, and real danger was setting in.

Though if he hit, he thankfully wouldn't be able to follow it up when something solid smacked him from behind. Not enough to do any real damage, not like the blows he'd been trading with his new hated enemy. But enough to hurt, enough to make him turn around. Who the f-.. He was no longer smiling, but scowling at who it had been that decided to get involved now. And that would be difficult given he'd just been gouged in the eyes. Thankfully the blurs had shapes and colors, and he that was surprisingly useful. As for the first time this entire fight, he'd actually see the status of his own team. The blob with black hair, standing over the tan blob, yet not making any other move. And by him a blue haired blob, we'll behind the blob approaching him. Another tanned blob, that after rubbing his eyes again would reveal it was the boy one. Useless...All of them... It was clear that his blob team had been out maneuvered.

Though he himself was distracted now, no longer watching the boy he'd been caught in a hellstruggle with only moments ago. Too distracted to see whether he was still stirring, or even more. Though that wouldn't last for long, as if he was able and not interrupted, he'd turn back to the hat wearing boy and hit him as hard as he could in the face, though without the rock thankfully. But it was also clear that this blow was meant to finish their fight, as he prepared to start a new one.

-Yosei has thrown more attacks yet they're equally damaged, is he bad at fighting? We'll let the ground answer as he keeps trying to smash Tsugimes head into it until he stops moving
-Gets eye gouged for his troubles (and brutality), recoils back and is no longer head smacking as he grabs his eyes
-Reaches out blindly until he grabs something solid on the ground, and tries to smash Tsugimes head with it
-If he successfully domes Tsugime, he actually doesn't follow up as he's hit from behind
-What the F indeed
-Can't really see great, but is now looking at his side field for first time and can at least tell which blur is which thanks to everyone being color coded
-Is not paying attention to the boy he just skull cracked with a rock. And if he doesn't pay for that tries to finish off Tsugime with a finishing punch, before raising to meet Tsubasa
