"Bell genjutsu?" Shō's initial reaction to the ringing bells was confusion, a fleeting thought that it might be the same technique he encountered before. Yet, as the chaotic movement of the sound unfolded around him, he realised it was something entirely different. "That must be a genjutsu…" Well actually he wasn't 100% sure… but the possibility of it being ninjutsu or a physical manifestation seemed improbable because they would be incredibly underwhelming if they were.

Regardless of the nature of the genjutsu, Shō wasn't intending to endure it this time around. "Last lesson for today…" he declared while slowing raising his hands to form a hand seal.

"Layering genjutsu could be extremely deadly when done right, however, there is a catch. It will make your genjutsu much easier to dispel since it is much harder to control both illusions in play." He stopped for a moment to let Amaya to absorb his words before continuing.

"Also… it only takes one 'break' to escape both genjutsu." The prospect of investing copious amounts of chakra only to be dispelled by a single kai didn't seem wise.

After a brief pause, he continued, "So I don’t actually recommend using genjutsu that is obvious like the ringing bell. Subtle ones should be the way to go." Shō offered a word of advice, though if Amaya was able to capitalise it with his fighting style, then he is welcomed to continue this approach.

"Kai!" With a decisive shout, Shō shattered the layered genjutsu. It is important to note that Kai wasn't foolproof. It still exacted a chakra cost equal to the strength of the genjutsu on the user. Feeling drained, he decided to call it a day. "I'm sorry, but I'm too old for any further attempts." he chuckled lightly, taking a seat on the bench and relishing the tranquillity of the beautiful garden.
