Clearing View:

Upon reaching the river it'd be decided by Rin roughly they'd be heading more east. However with Mako already on that side of the stream, she'd be happy to keep on her way. Avoid the slippery rocks and keep a rather firm lead on the group. It meant she'd be the first to encounter anything ahead, but it also meant if something jumped group she'd be the first out of trouble. Raimaa taking the exact opposite approach, as she'd take the rear of the group and stay closely to Rin.

Despite the river not being inviting, it'd be the woods that offered more ominous noise. A creaking sound here or there, it'd be hard to hear them, as the ambiance of the river muffled the noises. Though paranoia made it likely easier to pick up on the noises, it wouldn't help pin point them though. Where the river and opening provided sight, the woods would create endless shadows providing perfect cover for anything that might want to watch.

The journey would be a nerve racking walk for almost two miles before finally reaching bridge on the original map. It'd be there that the group without a real defining path only had one clear path. Crossing the bridge which wasn't a short walk, but the other end was visible. Along with the sight of the other end was a sign to point out directions, it was however old and over grown. Crossing the bridge there'd four bodies laid near center of the bridge, as though they'd killed each other or perhaps were killed by the earlier creature there.

Mako would be eyeing the bodies when the rest of the group arrived. "We crossing or continuing on?" She'd whisper to the group, as she'd feel confident enough right now to speak. She didn't feel good about crossing though without the others and thus was fine going on across the bridge or following the river further to the lake. The bridge felt like the right route to keep going to their intended destination, but the bodies felt foreboding enough to make her question if anyone else wanted to risk it.

[Yumi Yuie]

As the group headed eastwards with Mako leading, Yumi watched her surroundings carefully. There were ominous sounds coming from the woods, but thanks to the endless shadows cast by the trees, the young puppeteer couldn’t see anything. She didn’t know if that was a good or bad thing. Still, she only had to deal with her paranoia for a little bit before the group of genins finally arrived at a bridge. Across the bridge was a sign that held directions, but barring the way were four bodies. Had the creature they thought they evaded headed this way? Or was it a different one altogether? Either way, neither outcome was pleasant.

"We have to cross, isn’t the bridge the only way across the river?”

Whispering softly to the group, Yumi narrowed her eyes. They needed to cross the bridge. Taking a detour would only waste time and energy. Taking a quick look around, the young genin searched for anything suspicious nearby. If everything seemed normal to her, she would then turn to Mako quietly.

"Watch the surroundings for me and protect me while I check out the bodies.”

Crouching down to have a smaller profile, Yumi closed her eyes and extended her chakra through her strings once again. When she opened her eyes once more, she was seeing through the eyes of her puppet. Having Ms. Bubbles approach the bodies quietly, she had her puppet examine the corpses from a few feet away. If none of the bodies moved, Ms. Bubbles would poke each of them in turn before examining their bodies. If some of the bodies were still moving, Ms. Bubbles would silently retreat with the news.

By closing their eyes and concentrating on their chakra strings, a puppeteer is able to look through the eyes of one of their puppets, assuming their puppet has eyes. This effect lasts as long as the puppeteer's strings are connected to their puppet and they have their eyes closed. This technique allows the puppeteer to scout around by using their puppets and to also help them see if they are hidden inside their puppet. The vision from the puppet is relatively the same as normal vision but with slightly reduced color.

[Sato Rin]

Rin agreed with Yumi. They needed to cross. There was no way around the river otherwise and frankly he didn't want to be stuck here forever. Whatever nasty things waited for them ahead, were at least nasty things that were closer to the end of their journey. As Yumi sent her puppet towards the dead bodies that were littered near each other, Rin would move closer to her.

"Tell me if there's anything interesting. Any wounds, or anything. I'm a medic," He offered a slight reminder. "Maybe I can give a diagnosis about how they died." Sometimes knowing how someone died was the first step to avoiding ending up being in the exact same situation. He had wanted to approach the dead bodies himself, but Yumi had sent her puppet first so he was going to standby and not get in the way and instead offer some expert advice once the puppet returned with Yumi's vision.

For the time being though, he stood guard near Yumi. Not wanting anyone to attack them and leaving her vulnerable as she searched the bodies for something useful through the puppet... Time was ticking by, and they needed to hurry up...

Although Rin had to admit, that if there was anything that would say that those bodies were generally laid there to strike fear into them, then he would run across to the other end. Fleetingly, sure-footed and quick. Rin was also rather fast, not just a medic. So, hopefully they could get across faster than slower because hesitating now was just depleting time from their constantly ticking clock.

Clearing View:

Mako was more than ready to continue her comfortable head start from the group. So much so she'd even turn to start walking, when Yumi went on how she'd investigate it first. Perhaps a part of her worried there'd be something only one of them could get. She certainly wasn't too open on all of her motives, but after a very judging look she'd sigh. It seemed a lot safer to let the puppet go first she had to admit.

Rin would only disarm the kirigakure shinobi more, as he'd be a constant reminder of too much trust. She'd roll her eyes at the words of the medic, but could understand how such information could be helpful. Though she could kind of guess in her mind at least how these creatures killed. Who knew there could of been more dangers than these creatures, but based on these creatures she doubt anyone was out setting traps and living through it.

Raimaa stayed almost just out of sight behind Rin, practically clinging to his back. An act that'd cause Mako to scowl, before looking on to the bridge to watch the puppet cross.

Yumi wouldn't see any movement from the bodies and on first glance, it'd appear the first two closest were in similar shape as the body earlier. Though maybe Rin would get more information than her, except one sad fact of the state to these corpses. They'd appear to be relatively old, as though killed a long time ago. Similar relics to that of the abandoned homes state, but the next two corpses not far appeared pretty recent.

Despite the attire and blood looking newer the first corpse when poked would slink over. Revealing a face that'd been mostly picked clean. As though a blade had been taken to it and bits were purposely cut off from it. The last corpse being poked though would trigger a reaction. As the still body suddenly lunged out and grasped the puppets leg, as to yank them off their feet. Their other arm pulling out a very sharp knife. Slicing violently at the puppet legs, as though to split tendons and render the girl grounded. Face hidden earlier the attacker had no idea their victim was a puppet and not a person.

[Yumi Yuie]

The first two bodies that Ms. Bubbles examined were quite old, as if they were killed long ago. The other two however were different. They were killed much more recently. The first of the two had its face picked clean. Mostly likely from some sort of blade judging from the wound. Not a lot of things made cuts that neat. The final corpse though was still alive. And that made things a little more difficult.

Yanking Ms. Bubbles back towards her, Yumi had her puppet lob the spear she was holding directly at the moving corpse. Based on the distance there shouldn’t be time to dodge and since she aimed towards its center mass, it would be quite a challenge to avoid. Unfortunately for their opponent, being off balance didn't really affect Ms. Bubbles seeing as how Yumi could fix her balance with only a twist of her fingers. It was a good thing it wasn’t her up there though or it would have been a much more dangerous situation.

As the dangerous corpse attempt to slice Ms. Bubbles legs, Yumi had her puppet launch several makibishi towards its face from her feet. Normally these weapons weren’t used in this manner, but since her opponent was so close, they would be quite effective. Plus if it decided to chase, it would have to avoid the sharp weapons now littering the ground. Once this was done, Ms. Bubbles would attempt to retreat several feet away, back towards her puppeteer. If she was fast enough, she would be unharmed. If she wasn’t, well it was a good thing her body was reinforced with durable metals.

[Sato Rin]

Rin did tense up at the sudden commotion, but otherwise stood his ground. He knew that he couldn't be seen as the coward of the group. Although he had a feeling that this was already assigned towards Raimaa. The girl was clearly smart and could very much be an asset, but she didn't utilize herself all the time and chose to hide behind Rin instead. Whether this was good or bad, Rin didn't know yet, but he did know that he would have felt horrible if she were out in the open and dead if he pushed her away. So for now he allowed her to continue practically clinging to his back.

However, Rin was prepared to retaliate if the newly awakened dead body decided to pursue the party. He had a nice little Raiton attack that could most likely easily put it down if Yumi's puppet didn't do the trick with all of the stops that it pulled out with trying to harm the damn thing. Talk about a jump scare.

Rin really was getting plenty for his notebook to fill in, too much in fact. He had a feeling that if they survived this, they would all have a lot more to put away to their memories as they moved on as shinobi. This would hardly be the worst of it. Chewing on the inside of his cheek he waited for the result of the short battle. His hands coming closer together so that he could be ready to form the necessary hand seals to unleash his attack...

Because if things didn't go right he would go through with his plan. Some ninja wire, his kunai, throwing it at the corpse, hand seals and then his jutsu.

DESCRIPTION:
After the handseals are completed, the user will generate a large amount of Raiton onto their hands which could be discharged onto a person or object they are in close contact with. The electricity from this jutsu has enough power to intensively damage and electrocute the opponent. Due to it's short range, conductive materials are often used to lengthen it's range, and even improve the electrical power of the technique. Methods such using streams of water or ninja wire are common ways to improving the jutsu's range.

Clearing View:

Having been in poking range it'd be too late for the puppet to retreat. The person pretending to be dead moments early would with the element of surprise grasp the puppets leg. It'd leave little room for the puppet to setup Makibishi, but they'd still lay in a position where the attacks arm was at risk. They wore rather thick garb though and though a couple seemed to bury into their wrist, it didn't seem to be deep enough to produce blood.

As bad as things might of seemed, they'd increase as the spear was lobbed into the strangers back. The person would bite their lip attempting to prevent a scream, but then their eyes would widen. As the lobbed broken spear would shake, it'd suddenly trigger the device on it. A clicking sound loudly calling out into the night, unable to draw blood on the puppet. The attacker would disband their knife and instead reach out for the other leg. Then loudly they'd too scream out, a less I'm in pain scream and more a this is how loud I can yell scream.

The commotion and jump of the attacker would seemingly scare Raimaa, as she'd jump at the reaction and plant herself against Rin's back. Peering over his shoulder before clinging to his back and looking back towards the woods. As soon as they'd start yelling, Mako in a panic would turn to Yumi. "Kill'em! Hurry!" Mako would look back to the tree line, then forward to the bridge. Unsure what to do herself, she'd draw her sword and ready to charge. If not intervened or the strangers screaming and spears ticking intervened, then Mako would charge to kill the person themselves. Though from their point of view they had little to no idea where the ticking originated.

Unfortunately the makibishi didn’t seem to do that much damage, but when the spear was brought into play, things changed drastically. Once the spear was thrown into the back of the stranger, the device that was attached on it began to play. Huh, she thought it was broken. But based on the loud clicking spreading from it, that obviously wasn’t the case. Not only that, the attacker then had the audacity to try to hold on to both of Ms. Bubble’s legs and scream! He would soon learn the error of his ways.

Since the stranger decided to try to hold on to Ms. Bubbles, Yumi decided to change up her strategy a little bit. Rather than keep pulling Ms. Bubbles away, she sent her forward to grab the spear. Grasping it firmly, Ms. Bubbles would attempt to shake it around in an effort to kill the stranger or make him let go of her feet. If she got lucky, maybe the device would even turn off again. In tandem with this, Ms. Bubbles would open her mouth and launch three darts towards the stranger’s face. Since he wore thick clothing, her darts would be better suited for heading towards his face. And even if she didn’t kill him, maybe his dreadful screaming would stop once her weapons embedded themselves in his skull.

If Ms. Bubbles managed to kill her opponent, Yumi would then run as fast as she could towards her puppet on the bridge while telling the others to follow. The battle had been quite loud, and it would be too dangerous to stay here any longer. They would need to leave as fast as they could if they wanted to survive the night!

[Sato Rin]

Well, this seemed to be going rather well. So, when things didn't quite go as intended by the puppet and Yumi. Rin would go through with his plan. He took a few steps forward, and tied some wire around the end of his kunai that he had been holding onto. He would toss it directly at the screaming terrifying corpse like thing, using some of his precision to embed it into exposed flesh. Holding onto the other end of the wire with his teeth his fingers would flash through necessary hand seals before clasping onto the wire. Sending a powerful electric current into the wire extended all the way to the other end of the living dead. It was intended to take the man out completely from this one hit. It was powerful enough after all to intensely electrocute, and should arguably have been enough to put the man out for the time being - although unlikely that it would fully kill him unless he was already quite close to death at this point... Which with the way he looked, it wasn't out of the range of possibilities.

Once that was said and done, and either Rin's or Yumi's attack worked... Or didn't. They could always run and jump. Rin didn't wait, he would dash forward after Yumi or not after Yumi leaping over the dead bodies and landing on the other side of them, hoping that Mako and Raimaa would follow as well. It was time for them to get going. Whether they could defeat their opponent or not seemed irrelevant here and now. There was too much noise and certainly this would attract unwanted attention, with the small amount of knowledge that they did have of this vicious forest.

Time was ticking, and they needed to get to the end. NOW. Run or walk, Rin would choose to go in the opposite direction of where they started. They had started rather far southwest of this location, so it was best to continue on north and maybe slightly veer to the east? He wasn't sure, he just wanted to keep going and live to tell the tale.

Precision Boy
Due to his extensive medical training over many months of grueling and hard study he knows how to be very precise in his movements in all situations. His muscles twitch precisely in battle, and his weapon throws are genuinely more impressive especially more so than anyone of his level. Precision is also handy in medical ninjutsu, as his precision gives him a steady hand when needing to extract something or simply be more careful in a situation when it comes to the human body.

Clearing View:

Without anyone intervening it'd be Mako who'd charge the bridge first, she'd move with the intention to kill the stranger, then proceed across the lengthy bridge. However her own intervention of Yumi's puppet wouldn't be necessary, as the puppets darts would in fact kill the stranger. They were simply too close to dodge and too focused on keeping the puppet in place, but this wouldn't hold up the genin from Kirigakure. Instead she'd see now as the golden opportunity to get across before it was too late.

An idea which would make a lot of sense, as it'd be the initiative of the whole group. Seeing as shaking the spear in the soon be dead body wasn't shooting off the clicking sound. It'd also be the initiative given by Yumi's puppet, as the dying grasp of the stranger held onto Ms.Bubbles a little longer. It'd seem pain and death only triggered the nerves to tighten muscles one last time, before finally letting go a half minute later.

It'd be then though that an almost soft thud would be heard behind the group. As the lengthy looking almost human creature would drop into sight of the group. A branch creaking nearby as well, perhaps another one. And even worst looking to the other end of the bridge another one would clearly appear. A bleak pale gaze glaring down the bridge, before the creature would let out a horrendous screaming roar, it'd trigger the one across the bridge to do the same and without hesitation both charged the bridge.

Lanky limbs would allow the creatures to quickly cover ground, at a pace seemingly faster than anyone in the group. Perhaps Mako was proving faster at a glance, but it'd be incredibly tough to say for certain. Raimaa with a hand on Rin's back would sort of see how the boy acted to make her decision. Mako though would quickly peel off to the side, as she'd run onto the stone rail then under the bridge. Before flashing stepping to the other side, as she'd already made most the distance prior to their arrival. Similar to how she'd vanished at the house, it'd seem once again Mako took no interest in playing the team game.

[Yumi Yuie]

The three darts that Ms. Bubble’s had launched would end up taking the life of their ambusher. While that was a good thing, the group wasn’t out of the woods yet. The freshly made corpse had managed to keep a stubborn grip on Ms. Bubbles even after death which led to her being forced to stay on the bridge longer than necessary. Something she definitely didn’t want to happen as her worries were proven right a few moments later in the form of reinforcements.

Two human shaped creatures were now covering both sides of the bridges with the possibility of many more lurking in the trees. If the group rushed the front together, they could probably take out the first one with no problem at all and move on. The key word was together however. And Mako, true to her previous actions, ran at the first sign of trouble. Leaving the rest of the group to fend for themselves. If Yumi got out of this situation alive, she would have quite a few things to say to her. But that was neither here nor there. She needed to focus on this situation now and deal with the other one later.

Since Yumi had run towards her puppet earlier, she was now stuck between the two howling creatures. Thanks to their lanky limbs, they were approaching her faster than she would’ve liked, so running from them probably wouldn’t be a valid option without slowing them down first. Normally she would try to plan with her team, but time was of the essence. She would have to worry about herself first, then others later. Also she couldn’t really do anything for them regardless. Raimaa and Rin were behind her, the opposite direction of where she wanted to go and Mako had disappeared to who knows where. Even if she wanted too, there wasn’t much she could do.

Running towards the end of the bridge and towards the approaching creature with Ms. Bubbles in front of her, Yumi waited until the creature was almost upon her puppet. Once it was close enough, she would open Ms. Bubble’s torso and launch five soap sticks in front of her in a wide arc. Once the sticks hit the nearby area, they would explode into a spongy block of soap. If the creature was hit by the sticks, its movement would be impeded for the moment as the soap began to harden around it. If the creature fell for her trap, Yumi would then use her free hand to send out five chakra strings to a tree on the other side of the clearing. Once the strings were wrapped around the tree, she would pull herself across the rest of the bridge with her puppet in tow before attempting to hide in the nearby trees.

NAME: Soap Stick

DESCRIPTION:
Similar in appearance and function to common chemical light sticks, these items consist of three parts. A thin, waxy exterior, a hyper-condensed Yuie soap interior with a small core of water. They are often colorful and bright, making them very easy to identify. They are also very unhealthy if ingested. Keep away from small children.

ABILITIES:
When given sufficient impact, snapped so that the central core breaks, or otherwise suffused with water in some fashion, the soap inside begins a chemical reaction, upon which it explodes outwards, creating a large, spongy block of soap that can impede movement. After several moments, it begins to harden and can trap contents. Its explosive radius is enough to cover about six feet in any direction.

Before the soap hardens, it is very susceptible to being blown away or washed away with water. Upon hardening again, water will softening it up and making it extremely easy to escape. Fire burns extremely hot and lets off a gas that irritates the eyes, nose, and throat but is otherwise not harmful. It does not require a great deal of strength to break free, but a normal civilian, academy student, or genin without a physical spec might have trouble breaking free on their own. If caught inside, it might impede movement for one turn as people break free.

DESCRIPTION:

A useful, but difficult to master skill. This technique requires an entire hand's worth of puppetry strings, the user sending five strings to latch onto a surface before quickly wrapping their hand around the strings and finally shortening the strings at a high speed. While this could be used to rapidly pull light objects towards the user, it is more commonly used to pull the user towards to object they anchor the strings onto. This effectively allows a puppeteer to use their puppet strings as a grappling hook and quickly move around the battlefield.

[Sato Rin]

Rin was mid about to perform his attack when the ambusher was killed by Yumi's puppet. Thank whatever Gods there were, because that meant Rin could save some of his energy for the future. The future coming in rather quickly as there were now two creatures with lanky limbs barreling forward. Rin's first instinct was to make a plan, but Mako decided to dash forward like the shit team player that she was and Yumi went forward as well.

There was no moment to hesitate though. Rin ran forward, grasping onto Raimaa briefly to yank her forward so that she would run too. Unfortunately he couldn't drag her along or else risk losing his own life. She too would have to fend for herself the best that she could. The team wasn't yet fully split up though, fortunately.

Rin jumped up onto the railings of the bridge and then swung under the bridge, using sheer adrenaline and willpower to fly up onto the other side of the bridge landing. Once he was there he would rejoin Yumi and hopefully Raimaa was making her way over as well.... Mako, Mako he was considering murdering himself at this point for all of the issues that she was causing and leaving them in what appeared like all at once. She was a poor teammate to have.

Once he was on the other side he would - hopefully - see that the creature was stuck in bubbles that Yumi had cast and dart after Yumi into the tree line. If not, well then he would have to run and disappear into the trees as well, but with a lot less time to disappear into said trees.

His fist gripped onto the kunai that he had out, at least he had some line of defense. And frankly, he hoped that he wouldn't have to use it because he would rather just avoid a fight all together. Avoiding a fight seemed like the smarter choice, and the monsters seemed entirely too vicious to take head on. At least not as a whole team and with Mako disappearing every five seconds he wasn't sure that they could really rely on her to do anything useful for them.

Once in the trees his eyes would dart around in the darkness, remaining still momentarily as he tried to find Yumi. Hopefully she was nearby as he had made a point to follow her. They were so close.... So close... They just needed to cross the dangerous bridge surely and they would be well on their way or at least closer to victory. It just felt right.

He inhaled slowly, keeping the air moving in and out of him steady and silent to not attract more attention.

Enhanced Speed
It has been an exceptionally long road in enhancing his own speed, but through rigorous training Rin is now utilizing his size to its absolute maximum. He is a considerable amount faster than the average genin (especially ones without that have not trained their speed from the start) and is able to go toe-to-toe with chuunin and advanced genin who are not specialized in taijutsu or have not honed this part of their training. His movements for the most common of foes - at his level - are hard to keep up with and Rin would not have it any other way.

Clearing View:

Despite the internal criticism of Mako, it'd be a shared goal of the group. To cross the bridge as they'd desire, but wasn't this a point of interest? There'd been time to search the home with little prevail, but perhaps if it wasn't for the now dead stranger they'd of had time here too. What'd been the cool was hard to say, but so far all they had to work on was the direction of North-East. Something about that drove Mako on, as she'd not be waiting in the immediate brush of the new tree line.

Yumi would be the next after Mako, but not without attempting to create a diversion of sorts. Her puppet releasing a soapy trap to hold one of the charging beasts in place, but it'd fail as the creature moved with rather immense strength behind it. Likely one of the driving forces for it's speed, as the delayed release gave it the time thrast the puppet. A power sweeping of it's arm into the puppets gut, as to dig talons in place.

It's jaw opening well beyond a man's order to engulf the puppets whole shoulder, before a nerve racking crunch would pinch the puppet. A quick thrash left to right of it's neck, as it's claw dug around. Two whiffs from it's nostrils, before it'd whip the puppet aside. It's attention seemingly then possessed by the body and spear, as it'd rush that body instead. Likely being the last image anyone physically there would see of it.

The two beast scuffing for a moment before the a wooden shattering sound rang out and finally killed the loud clicking. Tearing clothes, flesh and cracking bone soon following. The two creatures seeming to have taken to the corpse over the chase. Though neither was far and nothing about the woods would feel safe. Especially as they'd be split up, which would be most strange for Rin. It'd seem the touch of Raimaa had been upon his back literally until he broke into the woods.

Attempting to look for her, Yumi or Mako would only produce large looming tree's and shadows. Yumi having taken to hiding a bit deeper would see it first, a third creature or perhaps a forth based on earlier sounds. It'd take long strides as though from tree to tree, each acting as the creature cover. As it'd take a very slow stride across the forest floor. Stepping only upon roots as though not to make a sound. Rin would catch the creatures sight next, but in a less hidden manner.

Thankfully despite placing a talon'd hand upon the tree Yumi hid and walking through a tree line not more than five yards from Rin. It'd seem to not look at either of them, but instead move to the clearing before taking a massive leap to join it's brethren at the bridge feast. Of the stranger. Despite Yumi and Rin being relatively close neither is in eyesight of the other.

Personality: First impressions: Shy and unassuming. Raimaa brings thought to the team but otherwise fails to inspire leadership. You have yet to work out fully her entire personality.

POSTING ROUND 11

[Yumi Yuie]

While Yumi managed to escape into the trees unharmed, the same couldn’t be said for Ms. Bubbles. Unfortunately the creature ran into her bubble trap with too much force, allowing it to escape before the soap could truly harden. Because of this, Ms. Bubbles now sported several wounds over her body such as a wounded torso and shoulder. She was still usable, but quite a few of her functions were now limited. Yumi would have to make sure her puppet didn’t suffer an injury like that again or else she’d be unusable for the rest of the exams. And seeing as how Ms. Bubbles was a main part of her core team of puppets, that wouldn’t be a good thing.

Observing her surroundings with Ms. Bubbles, the young kunoichi noticed another one of the creatures lurking in the forest. Based on its quiet and confident stride on the forest floor, Yumi decided that it was probably safer to stay up in the trees in case more of its kind were lurking nearby. If she didn’t, she was worried the other creatures might actually be able to sneak up on her if she kept exploring on the ground floor. For creatures of their stature, they were actually quite stealthy.

As the creature left to investigate the noise on the bridge, Yumi stealthily scaled the tree she was hiding behind. Turning to face what she thought was north east, Yumi continued her advance at a moderate pace. She wanted to go faster, but she felt that stealth was more important at this point in time. Based on the damage her puppet had received, she could tell that she’d probably be taken out in one hit if she was in Ms. Bubble’s position. Therefore she had to be careful. Even more careful than before.

[Sato Rin]

Rin would silence himself in the tree line when he saw the creature take its strides, he remained perfectly still and hidden until the creature bound out of the way and towards the bridge. He would move up the tree then, jumping into the branches, and he would hold his breath longer. Looking around trying to see if there were any other creatures attracted into the area or if it was in fact safe to move if quietly and slower than before.

He couldn't see Raimaa, or Mako... or Yumi. It was too dark. He could only wonder where Raimaa had gone for he had felt her touch until the last moment when he had broken into the trees. He knew Mako had long since disappeared and Yumi...? Yumi he wasn't so sure about, but he held his breath steady to try and see if he could hear anyone. But, for now he only heard the beasts on the bridge. Or what seemed like beasts, they certainly acted like them.

Swallowing thickly a part of him wanted to attract attention, but he knew that this would only bring trouble from more dangerous forces that were not Yumi, Raimaa and Mako. Slowly his shoulders would rise and drop as he compensated for his deep inhales and exhales, physically silencing them.

After a moment of deliberation, he looked back to the bridge. They had been walking east for quite sometime, but that meant the northeast orientation would be in a similar direction, if a little bit skewed. That was okay, he oriented himself using the bridge and started to move through the trees.

As a shinobi, whilst not trained in total silence, he was trained to be as silent as possible. Rin was quite light, and landing upon sturdier trees helped him in being quiet. He would occasionally come at a tree horizontally, using his tree walking technique. This way he could easily either mimic a branch in the darkness or be able to avoid any enemies that were directly sitting on a branch if it came to it.... For now though as he started to move forward in his journey it seemed safe. Though in truth Rin was hoping that he would see one of his teammates and they could rejoin forces.
