Village:
In going around the village wall they'd be rather clear of obstacles, but would still need to move cautiously. The wall was old and could certainly fall apart. The positioning would give some hindsight on what was going on around. There were more than the creatures on the two roofs, but none seemed to catch the shinobi. Instead they'd go on their own business, it'd seem some were moving the broken parts of dead creatures. Taking them into homes or seeming to head towards the Church.

Upon reaching roughly the center of the village via wall, they'd find not much a shorter path to the town center. It'd seem the village had a more or less circle shape to it. The new path was more or less an alley and would constrain the group, but it was narrow enough where the larger creatures would struggle to lumber through it. On their way through the alley towards the town center, a sound would come from behind the group. It'd startle Raimaa, as she'd seemingly rush into Mako's back.

Unlike Rin though Mako wouldn't have that personal bubble be breached, as she'd spin around slapping one of the other girls arms aside. Almost violently pushing her backwards away, it'd seem to almost send the Kumogakure shinobi to the ground. A glare of don't touch me, shot back to Raimaa as Mako would slip both her hands into her pockets. Stomping ahead almost to create more distance, as she'd move up closer to Yumi. Raimaa slightly pouting all done in mostly silence, as nothing seemed to follow the noise.

Reaching the town center the building would be in relative good shape, it'd had a prettier penny put towards it's creation completely. Two large doors were already open revealing the building which had a decently open main room. Large windows long broken lining it's sides, as there'd be a few desks within the room. Papers tattered and lining about everywhere, it'd be a mess, but the likelihood of a map being present was pretty high. "I'll stand watch." Raimaa would state, it'd be a good idea to have a watch, as rummaging through the building could take time and require attention drawn away from the troubles around them all.

CURIOSITY BECOMES A HEAVY LOAD, TOO HEAVY TO HOLD, TOO HEAVY TO HOLD...

Rin paused his grip on the kunai a little tighter. The sound created causing immediate reaction and tension. But nothing happen, aside from a conflict between Mako and Raimaa. The boy sighed, annoyed that the two were fighting in such a critical moment in them getting out of this stressful situation. Eyes rolled the boy kept going, moving along until they appeared in the center of town without any hiccups.

This was a relief for Rin. He would carefully continue moving along until they got up to the thrown open doors. He wouldn’t enter until he was certain that there were no monsters around inside and once that was settled he went inside. Raimaa saying she would keep watch he would glance and raise an eyebrow. He wasn’t sure how useful she would be as a lookout but would leave it at that for now and instead settled for looking for a map. There wasn’t really time to argue. He would move and shuffle papers in silence and move towards the center of the room to try and find something... anything... Mostly he was looking to see if there were any maps towards the center of the room or any spots that appeared like hot spots for something important.

[Yumi Yuie]

Nothing of note happened as the group traveled except for a scuffle between Mako and Raimaa. Yumi wasn’t sure what that whole situation was about, and she didn’t have the luxury to figure it out either. She still needed to keep watch to make sure the group wasn’t attacked from some of the monsters that were no doubt lurking in the darkness.

After some more walking, the group arrived at a building in the town center. Allowing Raimaa to take watch, Yumi began searching around the building for a map. She would move in the opposite direction of Rin so that the two could cover more ground. The young kunoichi was looking for a desk or a place specifically that would hold a map. Hopefully they could find it soon before anything truly dangerous happened.

Town Center:
There certainly wasn't any immediate evidence of a monster within the building, but seeing it entire interior from the front door was impossible. Instead with things looking safe the group had to enter the building cautiously. Though Rin and Yumi would move swift and purposefully in entering and searching the building. It'd seem to not matter though, as nothing immediate jumped out. Unlike Yumi who split from Rin to speed up the search Mako would seem to just stick by Yumi, as they'd get more so into the building Mako would remove her hands from her pockets.

In one of the hands would be the note to which Raimaa and Rin had recovered. During the quick scuffle Mako had slight of handed the item out of Raimaa's possession. The Kirigakure kunoichi had chose not to trust anyone from the start, it seemed suspicious to her another shinobi could be so weak. Especially one who'd opt'd to perform in the chuunin exams. Her eyes would widen at the words she'd read, as she'd quickly thrust it upon Yumi next to her. Whether the puppeteer took the paper, read it or dropped it didn't matter. Mako seemed to have the next move in her mind made.

Turning to the door they'd come from Mako would withdraw her sword silently, she couldn't afford to warn Rin or even Yumi truly of what was read. Their position meant any noise could be the trigger to their end, but it'd be too late at that point. Raimaa would have already placed up barrier tags, then with a single hand sign the real threat of situation would be come quite live. As a fizzle behind Rin would quickly turn into sparks, cracks and pops as a firecracker tag which was hidden on his back proceeded to detonate.

The sound would cause Mako to turn to Rin, as the sound would cause a full on attack. Hidden in the rafters of the building dropped one of the monster and pouncing into two of the large windowsills of the building would be two more monsters. They'd all be converging upon Rin's position. The first landing right in front of him and coming down with a swinging arm, followed by the other to butcher the male. There'd be little to no way for the male to turn and run or dodge the wide reach of the creature.

The arm which struck first would come almost limply, as a spurt of red dawned the background. Mako using all her speed and shadow step would use her awareness to hop between Rin and the monster. A powerful kick straight to Rin's chest to send him backwards, but that'd be all the girl could perform in the short time. The second arm swooping in would bisect the girl at the midsection. Bottom falling flat and top spinning off. As two more creature launched at the firsts position, one seeming to land and take focus upon Rin and the other going for the severed bottom section. As the original stopped a moment after it's second attack to recoil from the pain.

CURIOSITY BECOMES A HEAVY LOAD, TOO HEAVY TO HOLD, TOO HEAVY TO HOLD...

Rin was going through and looking, but what happened next was total chaos.

Silence ticked on for a while though, outside of the shuffling of paper. He and Yumi working in tandem to find the answer somewhere in the building, but it was fruitless it appeared because even to his careful eye nothing was jumping out.

It was not until there was some commotion that went on by Yumi and Mako - in silence - that things started to get out of hand. The girl drew her sword and Rin noted this immediately. His form ready to move towards them as if to calm whatever conflict was about to arise. But, he - standing towards the center of the building felt something fizzle and pop against his back. He reached around to grab, but the damage had already been done. The sound came to life. It didn't really hurt, but it was still a sting enough that he had felt against his back.

He stood there quite dumbfounded trying to figure out what had just happened when suddenly from the rafters and windows came monsters. One, then two, and then three... All coming into his direction. He wasn't surrounded though not yet, and he started to move away to try and dodge what was coming at him by using a pivoting technique he knew but instead came a swift kick to his chest that sent the air out of his lungs and completely out of being surrounded by the monsters. He collided with a wall.

Rin let out a wheeze but managed to stumble up to stand moments after. Kunai up, vision swimming into focus to see Mako being flung into two pieces. Rin was shocked, or in shock. He didn't know how to take this new set of what was happening... But, it made him realize something. He realized that the girl he had traveled with was a traitor. He grasped at his chest as the air continued to return to his body but with a great amount of difficulty. But he could and wouldn't just dilly dally, he'd already be focusing chakra into his hand, a thin veil of blue glowing. Ready to slice and dice anyone who dared come close.

Now, he moved. And by moved, in this instance, it meant to put away his held kunai and to fling himself out of a back and nearby window. But not before locating Yumi.

"We gotta go!" He exhaled for her to hear, it was too late to keep quiet, and now if they escaped through the window even if the monsters did follow they could at least try and throw them off by escaping and weaving through shadows and broken buildings where the squeeze would be too tight for giant idiotic lumbering creatures. They were powerful, but that was all Rin could truly say about them at this point. They could still be outsmarted even in what seems to be a rather hopeless situation.

In all the chaos, he hoped that Yumi would follow...

There was still Raimaa to deal with though, and Rin had never felt so heated in his life - truly. For the first time, he actually had the desire to kill rise up inside of him, coiling like a serpent within the pit of his belly. He wouldn't let her reach the finish line and so once he and Yumi - assuming she did follow - were out the window he would place an explosive seal on the window to not only halt any attempt at pursuit but to also blow that part of the building and cause it to set said building on fire from the explosion and once they were out of blast radius set it off.

Even if he didn't really know where the finish line was... He kept searching his head for an answer. Something, anything as he moved to escape and find the end.

DESCRIPTION:
After forming the needed handseals, the ninja will focus chakra to his or her hands. When his or her charged hands reach the body of the target, the user can extend the chakra internally into the target's body to cut and neatly slice the target's muscles and blood vessels without harming the surface skin. This technique can be used in battle, but because of its hectic nature, the fine precision required for an instant kill is not feasible. Damage can still be done to the vital organs, but the technique should be used carefully in battle.

The next series of events that occurred would stay with Yumi for a lifetime. As the young kunoichi searched the building with female teammate nearby, she was soon interrupted by Mako giving her a note. Reading it quickly, her eyes furrowed as Yumi attempted to comprehend what she read. If the exit was beneath the church, then why had they gone to the town hall? There was no point for them to be here, so who exactly had made the group arrive at this location?

As Yumi’s mind finally reached a gloomy conclusion, she turned her head in surprise at the sudden noise of loud sounds from where Rin was. And all that noise was bound to attract monsters! She had completely fallen for the trap, and now she had to face the consequences.

Chasing behind Mako, Yumi arrived just in time to see her teammate be bisected in half by one of the monsters. Watching her friend’s body fly across the room in horror, Yumi stopped moving and began to look for an exit. She didn’t have any of her puppets out, and Mako had been way better in close combat than she was. And seeing as how none of that saved her, Yumi would be next if she didn’t leave. Giving Mako’s body a sad look, the girl began to quickly come up with a plan.

A quick glance across the room showed Rin slowly getting up from the position he had been shoved in. As he broke the window to escape himself, he yelled at Yumi to flee. Giving him a nod, the puppeteer ran towards a nearby window similar to her teammate. Running towards it as fast as she could, Yumi leapt out of the building with zero hesitation. She needed to be gone before more of those monsters showed up.

Heading towards where she had seen the church previously, Yumi launched chakra strings from her head to a building quite a distance away. Sending chakra towards her hands, she quickly shortened the strings so that she would be able to launch herself across the town quickly. As she soared through the air, she heard the sound of an explosion behind her. She wasn’t sure how that happened, and neither did she have the luxury to care. She needed to make it to the church!

While Yumi would try to stay as quiet as she could, she would focus more of her efforts on reaching the church quickly. Thanks to her chakra strings, she should be able to get there in a relatively quick manner. Once she reached the church, she would slow down and attempt to sneak inside. The church was far enough from the town hall that hopefully any of the monsters close by weren’t alerted. If she was lucky, maybe there wouldn’t be any monsters. She was sure the explosion that occurred behind her would’ve attracted the attention of most of the monsters in town, but you could never tell with creatures like these.

DESCRIPTION:
A useful, but difficult to master skill. This technique requires an entire hand's worth of puppetry strings, the user sending five strings to latch onto a surface before quickly wrapping their hand around the strings and finally shortening the strings at a high speed. While this could be used to rapidly pull light objects towards the user, it is more commonly used to pull the user towards to object they anchor the strings onto. This effectively allows a puppeteer to use their puppet strings as a grappling hook and quickly move around the battlefield.

Town Center:
Rin would exit the back and Yumi would take the left, but neither would find themselves immediately greeted by safety. A monster on every side of the building was scaling into the place. Rin would find himself in a back alley with the least visible monster, but also a rather utter lack of direction. As only Yumi had seen the true clue that'd been hidden away by Raimaa's genjutsu earlier, but going in a direction any direction couldn't hurt. Especially with his pre-planned explosion note, as there'd be a creature soon following.

The explosion note would do it's thing quite well, but it'd also quickly draw the creatures attention. It'd cause those practically upon Yumi's position to second guess their target, especially as Yumi would move in a peculiar manner similar to a bird. Though where the creatures vision was lacking, it'd not be the same for Raimaa. Who'd also read the note and knew the proper exit, so with Yumi quickly coming into view. The Kumogakure genin would toss a kunai ahead of the puppeteer. It'd have an explosion note attached, which once detonated would give Rin an idea of positioning possibly.

The note would also once again draw the creatures to the location of the sound. The numbers which were roughly three in the building to four outside, now ranged between six and eight depending on the angle of view. Yumi seeing all eight, Raimaa able to see about six and depending where Rin had gone or would move he'd see between two and five. Though he'd also be freed from any chase as the hive mentality of these creatures was becoming more apparent. Gasping screams of horror came from the building struck by Raimaa's explosion note, as one of the monster dragged a wounded child creature from the rubble. Which would stack the numbers to ten, at this point.

The church had two perched atop it, as the other six seemed to move to surround Yumi and more importantly the epicenter of the explosion. Raimaa using the distraction to attempt to dash ahead to the church first. Clearly retrieving more notes from her inventory, whether they were all explosion notes or not couldn't be clear from her abide use of fuuinjutsu. She'd keep glancing to Yumi waiting for an opportunity to strike again and watching for a counter attack.

CURIOSITY BECOMES A HEAVY LOAD, TOO HEAVY TO HOLD, TOO HEAVY TO HOLD...

Nothing but opposition upon his exit, but it seemed that his note was doing the job of masking his movement for the time being. He had no way to go anywhere because he didn't know where to go. But the thought of the note was still in his mind. It just seemed so odd, it almost seemed religious in nature for some reason. He was about to head towards the church that was now directly in front of him, he knew that the explosion would draw attention. But it was a good thing in a way because it would draw attention away from him. Which meant he could begin moving into the shadows and into safety.

It seemed that his attempt at chaos was going well. A semi-quick escape into the darkness and towards the church. Until another explosion sounded not far from where he was. But, the explosion didn't necessarily have him running towards it. He knew that with the new sound it would cause a greater draw towards the area.

So, using his advantage of being in a darkened area where no one could easily see him, he would pull the kunai from before and attach an explosive tag to it. He snuck around getting ever closer towards the church but now attempting to weave around side alleyways - as to not be spotted by anyone - to get closer towards the main road leading to the church.

Raimaa would dash for it, but Rin wouldn't let her move ahead from his advantaged secret spot he would use speed and precision in tandem to throw this same kunai at her. Throwing it just slightly ahead of her so that it would impale her if she were running completely blind, and then allow it all explode.

If this succeeded, he would disappear further into the sidelines once again and make a beeline for the church. Hopefully - after all she seemed to be in a rush for it - he knew not to trust now, it was possible that she knew something that he did not. The explosion, should arguably also be able to distract the monsters surrounding Yumi away from the puppeteer and towards Raimaa if the explosion did not fully take her out.

Rin was careful though, he didn't give away his position and continued to move as silently as possible in the darkness but still towards the church.

He was really hoping - although he didn't stick around to see because of the monsters - that Raimaa would get her just desserts...

Precision Boy
Due to his extensive medical training over many months of grueling and hard study he knows how to be very precise in his movements in all situations. His muscles twitch precisely in battle, and his weapon throws are genuinely more impressive especially more so than anyone of his level. Precision is also handy in medical ninjutsu, as his precision gives him a steady hand when needing to extract something or simply be more careful in a situation when it comes to the human body.

Enhanced Speed
It has been an exceptionally long road in enhancing his own speed, but through rigorous training Rin is now utilizing his size to its absolute maximum. He is a considerable amount faster than the average genin (especially ones without that have not trained their speed from the start) and is able to go toe-to-toe with chuunin and advanced genin who are not specialized in taijutsu or have not honed this part of their training. His movements for the most common of foes - at his level - are hard to keep up with and Rin would not have it any other way.

[Yumi Yuie]

Before Yumi could make it to the church, her journey was quickly interrupted with an explosive tag. Thankfully she had stopped just in time to avoid damage, but in doing so allowed some of the approaching monsters to begin to surround her. With a quick look around, the young kunoichi counted eight monsters in total. Way too many to deal with. She needed to somehow avoid them but also deal with Raimaa, seeing as how the girl was currently trying to stop her from advancing.

As Yumi debated on what to do, she watched as a kunai with an explosive tag flew towards Raimaa. The sender was most likely Rin, seeing as how he was her last living teammate that was actually on her side. Reaching into her scroll quickly, the young puppeteer unsealed Mr. Bubbles and quickly leapt on top of his shoulder. Concentrating her chakra into Mr. Bubbles, Yumi transformed his arms into a shield and aimed it in front of him. Since she was running out of time, she would just have to brute force her way to the church!

Clutching Mr. Bubbles neck tightly and making her body as small of a target as possible, Yumi had her puppet charge towards the church near a spot with the least amount of monsters. Thanks to her newly made shield, if Mr. Bubbles was hit, he should be able to sustain the damage. If any monsters tried to stand in her way, she would have her puppet jump over them. She would also keep an eye on Raimaa as she ran in order to avoid any more sudden surprise attacks.

DESCRIPTION:
Either by installing on a puppet or on themselves, the user can activate a mechanism inside the puppet which opens its arms into a couple of segments through which the user radiates their chakra. The chakra spreads out like a thin film and turns into a projective sheet, blocking all physical attacks and techniques. It is powerful enough to stop a ton of force being applied all at once before breaking down.

Church:
Focused upon Yumi, Raimaa wouldn't spot Rin, at least she wouldn't be able to in time. The kunai wouldn't land it's mark, but the following explosion would hit the traitor. Not obliterating her, but injuring and sending her backwards. The attention would once again change direction drastically. There'd not be a complete charge on the last blast, but the herd so to say would thin swooping more or less in on Raimaa than Yumi.

This opening would make the charge by Mr.Bubbles all the more possible. It'd not go completely unattended, but the larger size of the puppet and it's structure would allow it to take a couple passing swipes unhindered. There'd be a couple creatures which would scream at and chase after the Puppet and Puppeteer. The church was something the puppet was more than able to reach, as entering through door or window wouldn't matter. The building was at peace upon entrance only those entering would disturb it.

A single creature seemed to stand within the holy grounds, it'd seem to be standing almost upon the tip of it's toes. Though as one or both shinobi got farther into the church they'd be able to see the monster didn't hold itself up. A spear head stuck through the creatures neck. An armored individual standing behind it completely still almost dead still, but when the creatures following Yumi and Mr. Bubbles entered.

The stranger would shift the spear to aim down, to let the corpse fall to the ground of the church. Pouncing into the air well out of a normal persons power, it'd land spear head first upon the creature closest to Yumi's tail. Legs hitting the creatures shoulders to knock it up again and remove the spear head from one creature and slice it through the head of the other. Landing to face the open door, the individual would face off the outside world. This stranger stood quite tall and feathers protruding from their armor made them appear even bigger.

Whether size display or quick dispatching of the intruders, there'd be a caution instilled upon the monsters who'd not begun feasting upon the traitor. This individual would make no attempt to stop either shinobi, as further examination of the church revealed a stairwell down. The basement of this church had a tunnel out, it's entrance surrounded by kanji which would lock in two hours.

NAME: Fujiyaku Raimaa

Personality: First impressions: Shy and unassuming. Raimaa brings thought to the team but otherwise fails to inspire leadership. You have yet to work out fully her entire personality.
Specs: Genjutsu Sole?
Pointers: Upon searching the house, Raimaa has revealed she has an intelligent streak and is capable of thinking outside the box.

Genin 2: 

NAME: Girata Mako
Village: Kirigakure no Sato
Personality: First impressions: A little defensive. Mako isn't entirely forthcoming with information about herself. She just wants to get out of the forest as quick as possible. You have yet to work out fully her entire personality. 
Specs: Ninjutsu Primary | Bukijutsu Secondary
Pointers: Mako is good at being quiet when the need suits her, stealth seems to be one of her fortes...

Mako is missing. There was a loud bang.
The team have discovered a shape in the forest that went in the direction of the bang.

Raimaa is missing to everyone, but Yumi has stumbled upon Mako once again ahead of the group in a mine entrance.

CURIOSITY BECOMES A HEAVY LOAD, TOO HEAVY TO HOLD, TOO HEAVY TO HOLD...

Rin was glad that the explosion kind of worked, it at least sent Raimaa flying and attention was - mostly - diverted to her so that Yumi had a way to get away from the creatures. With that all settled, Rin made a beeline for where Yumi was heading - which was very obviously the church. Furthermore, with Raimaa having been attempting to get to the church earlier Rin was really getting the feeling that he was meant to be there too.

To avoid further commotion and keep to his stealthier approach he would scale the side of the building out of sight and move through a window. Hopping down to the ground - as silently as he could - he would look around, just in time for all of the action just inside the church to occur. There was a huge stranger, but he.. or she.. or it was capable of dispatching the monsters within seconds. Was he a guardian?

The stranger didn't make an attempt to attack Yumi or her puppet and now as Rin stepped out of the shadows cautiously he wondered if he would be attacked. If he was, he would attempt to fight. But it seemed that he was safe. So, he would walk further inside of the establishment.

Moving further in revealed a stairwell, and without any other way to go - except out which Rin wanted to avoid being that there were those monsters out there - Rin would linger and wait for Yumi momentarily to see if she would join him before he started to move down the stairs and into the tunnel. He still had his chakra scalpel active just in case something jumped them and he needed to use it in a pinch.

[Yumi Yuie]

Thanks to Rin’s explosive note, Mr. Bubble’s charge towards the church was able to go smoothly. After tanking a few hits, Yumi was able to arrive inside the church where a mysterious figure seemed to be waiting. Judging from how they hadn’t attacked her and were currently killing the approaching monsters, Yumi could infer that they weren’t enemies for now. She wasn’t sure how long that would last, so she wouldn’t be staying.

After a quick survey of the surroundings, Yumi was able to spot Rin near a staircase heading down. Giving him a nod, the young kunoichi followed him downwards with Mr. Bubbles in tow. She wasn’t sure what else the rest of the exam had in store, but hopefully it was heading to an end. So much had happened, and she needed time to comprehend it all. It had been quite an eventful day.
