DESCRIPTION:

One of the most mystical arts is that of Sennin Mōdo: taking in the power of nature and creating an extension of their own chakra. Many are called, and few are chosen. Because of it's nature, if a potential Sage is unable blend nature chakra with themselves to the finest degree, their body begins to turn to stone: this is a known, universal fact among all the Sages.

Setsuna has learned, and enabled the ability that combines his chosen art, Fuinjutsu: with his secondary skill, Senjutsu. While in his Sage Mode, Setsuna draws a fresh seal and applies it to a living being, or a Bijuu.

The seal itself, once activated, will spread out of the chosen drawing and chain all around a being, and begins to draw in Nature Chakra and constricting the target's size and body. The affect of such is that the target themselves will take on the Nature chakra from the sprawling chains and start quickly turning to stone.

Bijuu, will turn to stone and constrict to down into the size of a torso-sized statue of their own form, whilst maintaining their integrity as beings of pure chakra that cannot actually be killed. The same is of humans, who will inevitably turn into stone, which goes for both beings if they cannot remove the seal.

As they are made of stone, if they are then broken as such, any damage is retained to their form with the exception of Bijuu, who will either return to the physical realm at a later date or simply regenerate a lost limb.

At a later date, the seal can be taken off: and with it the arms that entangle the being will begin to pull itself back into the seal, and with it, the nature chakra which will reverse the aforementioned process, and disperse and the seal broken. By technicality, this could allow someone to be "immortal" provided they aren't actually "alive" while in their state of petrification.

This technique is capable of working with synchronicity with other Fuinjutsu techniques, meaning it can be later used, for example, to seal a Bijuu into somebody.
