[Iwai Sayua]

Sayua followed the woman. Responding casually. "I am new myself in a way,” she explained. "I hope we can learn a lot from each other.”

When they got to the destination Sayua wasn’t sure when they should begin the spar, but she started taking steps back as the maces she was holding filled with liquid. Her eyes widened as the mace came flying towards her, and she quickly jumped out of the way watching the dripping black ooze on the weapon. Observing the chain.

She had hoped that range would be an advantage here. Those chains scared her. She had one idea, but wasn’t sure if she was going to be able to pull things off.

On her shoulder was a wire that was attached and ran to a string reel on her back. She whipped the tail end of an arrow towards it and attached it in a quick motion. She drew her bow while backpedaling, keeping an eye on the adjacent chain.

She fired. The string reel arrow was shot at an angle that would never hit her opponent, it flew under the chain. Chakra channeled into her hand that loosely held the reel transferring into it. With a small twitch of her thumb the arrow flew up after passing beneath the chain, then back towards her. She shifted it yet again and brought it over and under the chain, then let the arrow embed into the ground nearby.

She kept the reel attached at the shoulder and started running in the opposite flank of the chain. She basically had tied a knot around it and was going to try to tangle her opponent up.

A set of mostly 'fair' fights would begin, but if the shinobi thought too highly of their profession they were up for surprises.

Battle of the Twins

Hitoshi was fast to say the least, his armor was on point, but wasn't thick didn't over encumber him. He'd have reflexes to match and with the chains attack delayed by each segment. He hadn't a single concern as the attack was made for his knee, he'd away from the attack, but still at the shinobi making it. His body turning to more or less face the attack though, as he'd make an attack. An attack the shinobi likely didn't expect out of the civilian, as he'd shoot the forward hand down and the rapier hand up. As to bring a quick joust downwards at a part of the incoming attack, specifically straight into the chain between the middle segment and segment being swung.

A pinpoint stab delivered with such grace and speed, it'd likely appear as a blur of flickering glares from the shine of the blades side. Attempting to pin the staff with his rapier, if he succeeded, he'd then push the weight of the rapier into the ground. Throwing his lower half up and attempting to deliver a kick towards the kunoichi's chest. If those thing failed he'd of surely deflected the attack instead, his rapier now acting as a shield for the staff's range of attack.

Suzu wasn't sure how the shinobi would deal with her attack, but she'd be impressed the girl didn't immediately run. Instead she'd go down to jab under the attack, but the range difference between the staff and claymore wasn't that great. So lowering her stance with the girl and thus yanking her swing down faster, Suzu would bring the sword down upon the staff mid jab and split the wood in half with her steel.

Then pouncing up from her lowered stance chase after the girl, it didn't matter if their was a smokescreen. She was too brazen to worry about the lose of sight, as she doubted the shinobi had much greater perception in it. She'd keep her sword handle at about gut level, as she'd keep the blade relatively straight up to guard her face. She'd sprint right through the smoke if the shinobi didn't try anything from within it.

These two weren't shinobi, but there'd be no denying both were faster and stronger than Suikazura

Guts v.s. Glory

The samurai would give Ryoko roughly another thirty seconds, if choose to not act within that time then he'd make his move. "Alright, you've wasted enough time." After stating that, he'd make an exaggerated move of his hand to hamidashi at his side. The chime on his wrist jingling as he'd grasp the weapon, it'd cause the whole weapon to take on a bright light. Then with one quick flick of his wrist he'd throw the weapon at blinding speed for the girls center mass, as the weapon flew closer the man wouldn't merely stand still.

Following the weapon would be the samurai, as he'd move his hand to the handle of his Katana. He'd close the distance between him and the shinobi with relative ease. His very first step seeming to clear half the distance between him and the kunoichi, as he'd seemingly take a drawing stance with his upper body. He wouldn't draw his sword though, at least he'd not do so on his way towards her. Once he reached her if she didn't move that story would differ, but how he drew the weapon totally depending on the girls reaction to his first attack and secondly his approach.

Dead Silence

The girl wasn't blind to what'd just happened, at least she could mostly piece it together. The arrow was guided or assisted in it's guidance via some manner, so when it bent around chain she could guess the entangle. She wouldn't however have the time to immediately yank her weapon back and thus she'd have to yank for it's return after the arrow pierced the ground. She was no weakling, so it'd not take to many pulls to dislodge the arrow holding a part of the chain down. How much resistance the shinobi added would be another story.

Granted the girl wasn't interested in giving the kunoichi much time to monopolize on the one entangled chain, as she'd begin swinging the other mace. Sweeping it over her head so it could get a nice arch before attempting to let it swing at a range to strike the shinobi from the side. If Sayua focused upon this attack, then the girl in armor would use more focus to yank her caught chain back and hopefully break the wire. If the focus remained on the entangled weapon, then she'd use all her skill to guide the second attack into landing a good hit upon the archer.

Suikazura aihara ryoko Iwai Sayua

The headlong rush of an armed opponent was something she was beginning to get used to. This guy had nothing on her teammate. Just a sword, no tricks? The confident, and somehow also condescending, smirk doesn’t fade as the samurai moves his hand to his sword. Instead her knees bend. She lowers herself towards the ground, crouching there and reaching down to balance with a pair of fingertips on the floor.

She remains calm. She probably didn’t have as much fighting experience as this guy, but she had some. Enough to know the primary rule of ninjutsu users in these situations. Get out of these situations. She draws her hands up and forms a single tiger seal as the large armored monster nears her, and before he can strike she vanishes. She leaves behind a small poof of summoning smoke for him to assault, but he’d find it empty upon arrival. From low to high, Ryoko had relocated herself somewhere more convenient.

Now well above him, and still a good ways towards the center of the room and away from his immediate leaping range, the Aihara hangs from the ceiling. Her feet remain firmly planted against the bottom of the platform suspended above the one she’d been standing on previously, a steady stream of chakra keeping her fixed in place in spite of gravity. She couldn’t help but wonder if Samurai could manage such a trick.

She reaches into the pouch at her hip and pulls out a scroll.

"Hey, I’m up here. You missed.” She points at the samurai and where she’d just been standing. As she does she peels off the seal on the scroll and lets it unroll. As it unfurls various seals on its inside are exposed, and more little puffs of smoke appear as her weapons are summoned forth. All three Mercystars appear, and instead of landing at her feet all fall back down towards the platform the samurai was still standing on. They land with quite the clatter, each one upwards of 20 pounds of steel and wood.  They had no risk of landing on the samurai, he was some twenty feet from where Ryoko was 'standing'.

"I think we should fight up here, it’d be a lot more fun. What do you think?”

Hanging upside down didn't really help with any manner of intimidation for the girl. As she was, the billowy length of linen and scraps she wore only hung upside down and inside out. If not for the excellent design of her hood it might even reveal her face. Aihara craftsmen, however, think of everything. While it'd better show off the rather skinny, even scrawny, girl hidden beneath her costume, it'd do nothing to betray her identity.

Kazura
    In the fashion of unconventional combat that she had long since imagined as she had spent years beating against large rocks and wooden posts, such a precise strike had not appeared as feasible. She was almost caught off or would have been if she wasn't immediately filled with both a sense of warning and a slight thrill of glee. He could fight, and it was so graceful! She wanted to see more, but her eyes had not been on the blade, they had been on Hitomi. As he dug in the ground with his rapier she would be met with a kick to her chest, but not quite would he feel the solid impact. Kazura had watched him, watched as he lifted from the ground, and watched as swung a kick out at her, to which point she had lept back, his leg more than enough in terms of momentum to hurt, but she hadn't taken the full brunt at the very least. As she would land a few feet away she would form a singular hand sign with her now freed hands, disappearing from the immediate sight of the boy with a small gust of dirt scattering into the air.

    She had not completely disappeared from the platform though, rather she had found herself to the far side of the boy. Hands reaching into her pouch to grab a few projectiles, namely shuriken. Rushing forward with the shuriken, three to each hand, which she would throw all of in fast succession twisting her body as she did so. They flew in somewhat of an offset volley, but they were fast and accurate for the case of projectiles, not all aimed directly at him, but also his obvious routes on movement to the sides and a singular one that would fly above. As the last hand released the projectiles she would produce a kunai for the first hand she had thrown, and make haste for where a plume was now forming due to Sui.

Sui
    Was not pleased by this woman's movements. They were awkward and heavy; dangerous. As her staff would be smashed she would release it, leaping back not once, but twice, the second bringing her into the air by a few feet. She had reached and grab herself a smoke bomb from her back pouch having tossed it downwards previously. The girl had disappeared behind the sizable gust and would reach within another pouch and grab another object of hers, listening for the moment when the clanking of armor would approach where she would land. Closing her eyes for, but a moment as she would throw the bomb directly ahead of her, the small area of smoke would flash with a blinding light for those that stared at it, too much to really handle with one's eyes.

    As the flash would die down, Sui would yet again take to the air. Forming a simple two hand signs, and in-taking a large breath. Expelling from her mouth a large spout of liquid into the cloud of the smoke to the front. Making moving upon the ground treacherous. Upset to of had to rely on ninjutsu, but Sui hated failure more than lack of self-control.

This trick is made to fool those who use their weapons to block incoming barrages of shuriken. To do that, chakra is fused into the weapons, before they're thrown. Upon impact with something, the chakra is released, giving a seemingly light weapon a strong punch. Even simple shuriken, used in such a way, leave dents in stone walls, and will knock a weapon out of someone's hand, should they try blocking with it.

[Iwai Sayua]

Sayua was determined not to abandon her initial strategy so early. As she made a move to try to counter the weight that her opponent was putting in to try to dislodge her entrapment, she couldn’t react in time to get out of the way of the incoming mace. It struck her hard against the shoulder, forcing her back a bit and smearing the black substance against her blouse.

She let out a cry cut short as the wind was knocked out of her. She stumbled back, still holding onto the wire while she forced herself to continue on. Her arm felt numb, and the shock of it all made her tremble. Gritting her teeth she began running to her opponents flank in the direction of the mace that was free, trying to use her mobility to get the string reel wrapped around her while holding her shoulder.

If she was a bit lucky, the initial tangle of the wire would stay wrapped around the original chain. Even if the black knight dislodged it she could use her own weapon as an anchor.

But all she could think about was the wound. Had that liquid made contact with her skin?

DESCRIPTION:
The user charges their arrow with chakra and then fires it using a bow. During midflight on command the user will have the arrow use up the chakra. The chakra will create a sort of burst behind the arrow, almost like a wave which the arrow will "ride" forward. This burst wave will double the speed of the arrow, making it a sudden trap that could prove deadly for an opponent who is not expecting it.

Hitoshi wasn't too surprised his kick wouldn't make it's full effect, he'd be surprised by the speed displayed of the girl though. As he'd kick off her he'd push his hand off the handle of his grounded weapon. Landing upon the pommel of the rapier with one foot, he'd spin on his heel to face her in time to see the shuriken. He'd crouching pushing his weight down upon the rapier so it'd flex and using it's springiness launch himself over the attack.

Also spring himself towards the genin allowing him to get a head start on charging her again, she'd be much less armed as far as he was concerned. She had a kunai, but that was much closer to close range than the staff. With that in mind, he'd look to clear the distance between her and get close enough for a fist fight. He had armor and no real range, so he needed this to have an advantage. However he'd not draw another weapon, as to keep the challenge more playful.

Suzu wouldn't be in as good a position as her brother though, she'd find charging into the smoke only assisted in letting it block some of the flash from the following bomb. She'd keep an iron fortitude through the shaking blurred vision, she wasn't seeing clearly, but she could make out large shapes. It'd of been enough if the genin came at her, but she wouldn't and using all advantages the genin would disperse some form of suiton.

Hearing the water the girl with the claymore would quickly hop backwards, as much and as quickly as she could to evade the suiton technique. As she'd have no idea it's purpose or intention. Until her vision cleared fully charging her opponent wouldn't make sense either.

Guts v.s. Glory

The samurai would of been disappointed had the genin stood still and took a direct hit, but he'd pivot on the tip of his toes and do a 180 degree spin. He'd of gone further if it was necessary, but it'd seem the girl had chosen to stay relatively close. She'd taken a ground he couldn't stand upon, it'd give him a smile as this wasn't a bad decision. She'd however not be out of his range, so he'd not wait for her words to end instead he'd jump for platform underbelly she stood upon.

At first it might seem like he was going to try tree climbing himself, but he didn't have jutsu instead he'd ring the chime in hand. Finishing it's call, as he'd press his palm to the platform she stood. The entire thing would light up and with it so would the connection between Ryoko and the platform via her chakra. It'd almost burn the soles of her feat before immediately ejecting her from the surface with some force. Though as it'd complete the task it'd shortly disperse the light.

The samurai could stand upon the platform upside down even with it lighted, he'd instead kickoff from it immediately. Predicting her departure from the platform, he'd attempt to jump her withdrawing his sword to slam the pummel into the girls gut mid fall.

Dead Silence

Seeing her strike land the girl in black armor would attempt to pull at her stuck weapon purely with her arm. Wrapping the chain around her arm, as she'd lean her other shoulder inward. Her hands quickly moving to activate the other two switches on that shoulder. It'd channel even more of the black liquid out of the mace which had hit Sayua.

It'd be after the strike that mace would start heavily bleeding the liquid, but it'd pull not far from where it'd hit. The girl quickly spinning to pull the mace back up into the air and perform a half circle. Using the mace and chain like rope to play around the world, either attempting to entangle the chain around Sayua or swing around creating a large circle. An almost arena of it's self using the wall on one side as a block, but in doing this act she'd created a massive opening at her center. Neither mace head was near her.

Now though with both parties tethered together the girl in black armor would attempt to use her tangled mace to tug of war pull the genin to her.

Kazura
    Kazura would take the time in running to avert her hands for a singular hand seal, setting something to use shortly, but not quite doing anything of note. She would continue to run in the general direction of her duplicate, but they had separated a way off earlier, so it would still take a moment. Hitoshi would encroach upon her quickly, but she would move to let him get ahead, slowing her pace to a point that is was only a step or two behind where she could have been. It would be enough though, she was used to swordplay from her months of training with Tadaomi, and did not need to really watch the blade. He would not run her through as it was, that would have been a break to the point of a spar.

    As Hitoshi would get ahead of her she would prepare for his blow, watching any and all of him like a hawk watching prey. If he swung or thrust his sword she would be quick lunge in. Attempting to place her hand in a quick outstretch to his exposed clothing, surging some level of chakra into his body, locking his movement as she would, in but a flash, encircle him and place the kunai upon his throat. A killing position. If he attacked with a punch or kick she would reach for his exposed skin or cloth, before attempting to repeat, the process the same as the sword.

Sui
    The liquid would spill thin, and clear seemingly normal and natural water that she had simply spouted from her diaphragm. The liquid would move further out as Sui would notice Suzu's move from where the smoke was now mostly dispersed leaving the puddle surrounding behind the girl and in front of her, as the liquid would rush to fill itself into the area. She would not stop here though, she had only a short time. She was fairly spent, but it would work fine, taking out two kunai to each hand she would grip them by the thin blades before launching them out towards Suzu in a reverse fashion, each charged with just a bit of chakra, though the visible telling did not exist. One would aim up in case of the jump, another traveled fast for her hand and the other two to her chest. She would take this as an opportunity to taunt the girl as she produced some senbon to her hand from her other weapon pouches, running to the side of the pool after the kunai.

Sui would try and pull the disoriented girl into the pool or be met with the blows of the deceptive kunai handled being thrown. The blood from where she had now recently cut her hands, numb from the adrenaline.

DESCRIPTION:
Kanashibari no Jutsu is an advanced Ninjutsu technique used to temporarily bind an individual or animal by stunning them with one's own chakra after making physical contact. This technique is a single and time coordinated burst that must result in the user striking out and making contact with the target. A success will result in the target person frozen in place for no longer than a moment, the user can either take the opportunity to attack or to retreat. Someone with superior strength can overcome the bind of the jutsu, and so does pain.

Well, at least he could jump. Ryoko smirks under her hood as the man pursues her. Sure, it was an option, but it didn’t bode well for him. She could do this all day. She wasn’t going to be so generous as to play defensive the whole time, though. No no, she wanted to show the man the mistake of tangling with an Aihara.

She forms a tiger seal and vanishes again. Shunshin.

Sure, he could hang upside down. Ryoko lands clear across the arena, on the ground level well below the fight. She didn’t need to be there. When she lands she reaches out with both hands, and sends strings out to her Mercystars. All three animate immediately, lifting up from the ground and beginning to spin slowly and chase directly after the samurai. Even from a distance her clan was dangerous, as long as she could still see, or guess, what was going on. She could still see him, thanks to the clever design of the arena.

She could also see the other fights, giving a cursory glance to her teammates to ensure they were faring well. She’d never seen Sayua fight yet, and was interested to see how an archer would respond on their own. Typically they were the team sort, better off with support. The same could be said for Ryoko. She much preferred being on a team.

It was a cool place, but she still preferred to battle outside. Maybe it was her natural alignment towards doton. Perhaps just cause she liked to break everything. All three of the Mercystars sweep in one after the other to smash and bash the man, swinging in quickly from different angles one after the other. They were fast, faster than Ryoko. Stronger than her too. Her mental might wasn’t to be underestimated, and with her strings and weapons ready, she’s going to smite this holy man down.

[Iwai Sayua]

Sayua wasn’t quick enough on the uptake to take advantage of the opening that the armored figure left. Her opponent successfully wrapped the second chain around her legs. Tethering in general had been a mistake. Sayua held on as hard as she could but could not beat her opponent in the strength contest, and the new wrap around her legs made things even harder.

She lost her balance and was swept onto her back, finding herself being dragged towards her opponent with the discomfort of laying on her string reel spool. The black fluid had tarnished her white top and stained parts of her skin. Her breathing was shallow and hurried.

She kicked and struggled as she was dragged nearer but to no avail. The kunoichi seemed to be panicking as she flailed about trying to escape the grasp of her opponent. It seemed hopeless.

She wanted to forfeit right then and there, she knew that she had lost the fight. She had little belief that she would be able to recover. Her gasping relaxed and her panic was replaced with a somberness as she started to feel sorry for herself. She wouldn’t quit yet, at least for the sake of appearances.

Battle of the Twins

Hitoshi perhaps too distracted in getting close would be fall the shinobi's tactic, he'd find himself relatively stuck in his position. However as she'd known he couldn't commit to a fatal stab, he'd know she wouldn't be slitting his throat. So with her concentration on killing him, he'd use the short nature of the paralysis jutsu to reach up and grab Kazura's hand holding the kunai. His opposite hand dropping his rapier and sweeping behind him to lock her bodies to his own. "Alright, you've got me lass, but you'll be sticking to me until Suzu's fights over. I'm not letting my sister get ganged up on." He'd explain, as certainly the girl could take her win, but he'd not let her use this advantage to tip the tides of the other fight.

Suzu was certainly still in the fight and with a sturdy grip and superior strength, she'd deflect both kunai despite their improved weight. She'd be physically more fit than a shinobi on most standards, as to be equal with them she had to match their abilities without chakra. Retrieving a chime from a pocket, she'd ring it over her sword pouncing to cross the pool of water. She'd not be able with the weight of armor and sword make it in one leap, but swinging down into the water. A light which gathered around her sword would disperse, granted the created water still had any chakra in it. With it's dispersal would be the water's chakra neutralizing any jutsu still in place.

If her swords light dispersed, she'd quickly recast the light upon her sword and charge forward. If the light remained and the water was simply water, then she'd rush the genin accepting the added risk of the water for the much quicker approach than running around it.

Guts v.s. Glory

The samurai wouldn't be impressed by the tactics used, but there was little going to be done by any genin that'd amaze him. He'd find himself without a target initially, but that'd not stop him from ushering his chime over his katana. Drawing it upon the weapons nearby which soon came to life and after him. He'd strike the weapons once again dispersing the light, but this time it'd almost snap the mental strings of the Aihara sending an almost spark to the tips of her fingers. The samurai was swift in hoping around the platforms to find his pray, but he'd not know she'd entered the others field.

"She's on the ground level!" The rogue like looking archer would exclaim to draw the Samurai down to the ground floor. He'd had already channeled a new light upon his sword, though it'd be hard to tell as the weapon kept being sheathed between strikes. He'd hover one hand over the blade handle, as he'd save no time upon locking his gaze upon her to charge. Could she continue to outrun him or would she be out running the clock. She might have retaken those weapons back too at this point, he'd hold his chime arm out, as to use the reflection of the shiny chime to see the space behind him.

Dead Silence

The girl in armor was actually surprised her mace swing had successfully entangled the archers legs. Sayua planned to continue fighting, at least there'd been no call to surrender, but the girl in armor wasn't interested in continuing. "It's over, you see that black liquid is not only flammable, but it burns a lot longer than normal fuels. I've devised a mechanism to make a spark too, so you've already lost in this position..." The girl would explain, as she'd pull upon her chains. Merely enough tug to keep them tight though, she wouldn't need to yank the genin any closer. Merely keep her stuck.

Granted even if they continued fighting it'd be incredibly hard to continue without sparks fire and now Sayua's clothes seemed drench. Her position was relatively in a pool of the oil too. It was time to call the fight quits, at least that's how the armored girl felt. She couldn't after all kill Sayua, but perhaps that'd be what Sayua worked upon. Certainly if this was a no holds fight, then things would be out of hand at this point. Unless the archer had held back a piercing arrow earlier on.

"Oh, interference.” Ryo remarks as the spectator calls out her position. "Guess that means we aren’t playing this solo!”

Ryoko laughs quietly as she draws a hand back sharply, pulling the Mercystars faster towards her. She releases them. Gravity would take over, letting them skid and slide along the platforms and fall down towards the lower levels. She needed both hands for this.

She draws them together and forms a trio of quick hand seals, gathering up chakra in her gut as she does. She doesn’t ask for permission, she assaults her teammate. Without warning she exhales a steady stream of wet and sticky mud. Behind the girl and holding at least some element of surprise she hoped Sayua wouldn’t attempt, or manage, to dodge it. The jutsu had a purpose.

It wouldn’t hurt her, the mud would just pour over her like so much water, completely drenching her and covering her in a thin layer of fluid. It’d help absorb the oils, and cover them to deny any oxygen. As quickly as it was sprayed it’d start drying, and hardening into place. The jutsu didn’t last long, eventually flaking away, but the future effects were for the future. For now she wanted to deny flames.

She wouldn’t have time to get to her Mercystars, the mighty samurai had too much of a lead on them. Instead she steps back and reaches into her belt pouch. She pulls out a handful of things, barely keeping a hold on any of them. Two kunai remain in her hand while three shuriken and almost as many smoke bombs just fall uselessly on the ground at her feet. Clumsy? Nah, she’s got it under control.

She attaches a string to two of the shuriken, and flicks a finger, snapping both weapons off at top speed towards the weirdo with the goopy flail. They were aimed to really hurt if they weren’t evaded, but Ryo trusted she’d be able to evade. If not.. Eh.. they have a healer. Legs and arms could be mended.

While it seems like a lot, Ryo’s strings are quick and easy to use. One hand is doing that, while the other is lifting the kunai. She wasn’t scared of the bull’s charge, and so stood her ground against it. Hopefully the smoke would help. She lets go of her kunai and attaches strings to them, but keeps them still close to hand.

DESCRIPTION:

The user of this technique points the intended projectiles at their targets, and sends a strong pulse of chakra through their strings. This shoots the objects forward with great speed, and immediately detaches the objects from their strings. The speed of these objects is the same as an object thrown at full strength by a taijutsu user of their own rank. Any object that can be held with a single string, such as a kunai or short sword for a standard shiso ido user, could be fired, and each use can fire off every object held in their strings. If a user has more than the standard number of strings for their rank, adjust the chakra cost of this jutsu to match. The strings can be aimed at different targets or the same, making this a generally dangerous technique to be up against.

DESCRIPTION:

Based on the Suiton: Mizurappa technique, the user will inhale deeply, before ejecting liquid-like mud from their gullet in a high velocity jet. The jet itself travels for about twenty meters before it looses momentum. Most of the liquid mixed with the mud evaporates when it comes into contact with body temperature, therefore making the mud denser and harder to move through. As such, it can either stop movement all together or simply slow the target down and stop them casting hand seals. This technique is obviously not perfect however, after a few minuets eventually hardens and becomes incredibly brittle, therefore making escape possible.

    There she went again causing issues for other people, the combat freed duplicate would think. She would relax her own grip and reach into her bag and pull out a tin that exuded a heavenly smell of sweets. Dropping the kunai before she would even attempt to reach for it. She would open the tin and hold a cookie to the boy's mouth. She didn't peel her eyes from the fight, but an obvious sign of peace for the individual she had bested. A combat of interest was what she wanted, and she had succeeded and that was what mattered to her.
    The boy still had her locked to him, but she was less caring about her physical pressings than the combat. Her head nestled onto her shoulder so she could keep just high enough off the ground without issue to see over him now as a true one on one would unfold.

Sui
    A grin of enjoyment would spread across the girl's normally blank expression. She was having fun. Too much fun. This girl was a fun opponent, one she did not mind having charge her. That made her job easier. She would form a seal on her hands between the senbon and stamp the ground, armor was had to fight, but it always had joints. People needed to be able to move after all. As she slid her leg back in the water content a high-pressure geyser would burst right before her.
    She would launch the grabbed senbon and in a blink they would pass the geyser and fly spread at the girl. A senbon heading for each joint with a level of precision unnaturally possible for a genin. Their speed rather absurd for the number that she had throw, but the kicker would be the fast needles that would head for the girl's neck and eyes. Dodging left or right would bring about more as Sui chose to produce more senbon rather than retreat. It was time for a dangerous game of chicken for the duo.

DESCRIPTION:

The user will stomp their foot on the ground while preforming a single handseal. Using Suiton Chakra they will manipulate water to create a thin wall of high pressurized water where they step. The user will then throw their senbon towards the enemy. As the senbon pass through the wall, the user will manipulate the water to change their trajectory. The senbon will shift slightly as the pressurized water forces them through like a pitching machine making them travel fast enough to pierce stone. This wall of water lasts for about ten seconds after which it will fall.

Sayua was about to open her mouth to admit her defeat when a splash of mud quickly fell on her body and covered all of the oils. She let out a whimper of confusion as the cool grunge further soiled her clothing, which had already been ruined by her opponent. She had overheard the other team cheating, but did that make this okay?

She did not want to earn the disappointment of her sensei, but she did not know how she felt about Ryoko’s actions. In the end she took a deep breath and smacked her hands against the ground, using a move that she had only practiced in training for the first time. From the earth came a wall of mud that solidified into stone, catching the chain and pulling it up over its birm making it easier for her to break free.

She took the opportunity to get to her feet and draw another arrow as she dashed away from her opponent. Her arm strained as she held the drawstring back, if her enemy came out from behind the wall of mud that separated them she would let the arrow fly free towards them. It was a blunted training arrow, so it would only leave a bruise or a superficial pierce.

Battle of the Twins

Suzu wouldn't be deterred by the geyser of water, so she'd brashly charge at the water. It'd provide cover making it likely harder to aim these precise senbon. Especially expecting them to move so on a moving target through water projecting up likely messing their trajectory. A brilliant way to blind the girl of the actions, but not the best for aiming either. Taking her swords blade in hand, she'd attempt to body through the geyser and swinging her full weight into the attack, aim the butt of her sword into Sui's gut.

Guts v.s. Glory

The samurai would move as quickly as possibly into Ryoko's sight, but seeing her attack her own teammate he'd grin. Granted it was no offensive play, it was tactical and completely put his own teammate in a hefty disadvantage. He couldn't remark, as she'd be right about the spectators spoiling her action. A grin popping onto his face, as he'd faint a charge to the puppeteer of sorts. Attempting to garner her into attacking, before leaping onto the platform above.

He'd run roughly to the spot of the platform over the genin's position, drawing his sword and spinning a circle before violently kicking the floor. There'd be a glint of sparks above the Aihara, as the man would kick down the piece of platform for the genin. Kicking off in the same light to run further down the platform and jump to the ground his teammate last stood. He wasn't too sure how he felt about 'teamwork', but he couldn't let a friend get so idly double teammed.

Dead Silence

The girl in armor was infuriated to see her attack nullified by the other shinobi. This isn't fair! She'd protest in her head, as she'd watch her plan not only get foiled, but her target would use this moment to trap her mace. AGAIN! Anger fueled the girl, as she'd unleash more chain and detach the now mud entangled mace. It was pointless fighting against the earth and potential other shinobi.

The one who'd aid her opponent would send two shuriken at her, it didn't totally matter their speed though. She was aiming them at someone with thick iron armor, the girl would block both attacks with one gauntlet. The superior steel sinking into the weaker iron, but gripping her own gauntlet she'd squeeze the slightly more malleable metal and pinch the shuriken stuck. Yanking her free chain to her hand to shorten reach, as she'd charge this new opponent with fury.

An arrow zoomed at her in her own annoyance, as if things couldn't get worst. She'd block with her chain and the dulled arrow would break it leaving her unarmed. She didn't know what to do, but charging seemed to make sense. She lost her ranged edge, so only her armor could be considered a weapon.

Well, she wasn’t surprised by the reaction from the chain user. Her smirk grows wider as her attention is forced to split, and the girl turns on her. It was for the best, let her charge in. Ryoko wasn’t an archer. She wasn’t even human!

No, really!

Seeing a moment’s reprieve as the Samurai races the full distance she’d teleported, she shift her balance slightly. She leans on her back heel, turning slightly towards Sayua’s opponent. She puts her hands together again, and flicks quickly through a few seals. After she finishes a puff summoning smoke conceals her.

It’s quite a large cloud, all things considered, and for good reason. Before it can even disperse Ryoko comes tearing out of it. She shakes the very ground as she rampages forth, indeed no longer human. She points her small, but straight and sharp tusks at the armored girl, while her great trunk lifts. She trumpets loudly, a great elephant bursting forth from nowhere to meet this new foe.

There was absolute glee to be seen in her now wild eyes, and a savage smile would have been painted across her face if she were still humans. She’s ten feet at the shoulders, and thousands of pounds of physical might. Perhaps worse, however, came after the loud trumpeting cry. A far too human voice, and a good amount of malicious laughter.

"I’M GONNA GET YA!!” She shouts, as it’s her turn to chase. She might not be much of a fighter, but she didn’t need to be. Thick hide, heavy feet. A one beast stampede should be enough to trample her. Or scare the hell out of her… which ever. She comes rushing in with zeal and fury.

DESCRIPTION:

After four hand-seals, the user is capable of transforming themselves either into a person or animal, as long as the creature is less than 10 meters tall. Unlike regular henge, this technique allows the user to completely take on the characteristics of the said animal, though they lose their ability to perform jutsu while transformed. They're also capable of holding the form in battle, even after taking considerable damage, though the more damage they take the more taxing the technique becomes.

Damage is retained between both forms, so a broken arm in one's original form would make it impossible to fly if you transformed into a bird; and any damage taken in their transformed state is retained when they return to their original form. If this jutsu is used to transform into someone with a higher rank, you're still limited by the physical capabilities of your rank and specs; this same rule doesn't hold when transforming into an animal that might have natural physicality beyond the user.[/spioler]
