[Nara Satoshi]

This is so troublesome But I guess I’ll do it.

Satoshi resisted the urge to sigh as he walked towards the destination of where the clients were expecting the team cobbled up for this. The mission itself was not too out of the ordinary and it was also not the troublesome aspect that made him want to sigh.

It was more that he was pretty much put in charge of fresh genin and one of them wasn’t even a Konoha shinobi but a Suna one. So fresh he was pretty sure only one of them knew the tree walking exercise.

It was one thing to lead a bunch of chuunin as they were usually made of sterner stuff, especially his teammate, but genin that was a different wheel. Man did responsibility suck sometimes but it was what it was. He would make due and make sure everyone came unscathed if thing were to go south. There was little concern of that seeing as almost nothing could surprise with his range of sensing but you never knew in this profession.

While since leaving the village and swinging briefly by Kaze no Kuni to pick the last member Satoshi had been observing his teammates for the mission. He could already guess somewhat how they would be in a fight but he was far from familiar with their personality and how they responded to things. With that in mind and seeing they had a few moments before reaching their clients the Nara spoke up in order to test the waters.

"So, this was a pretty rushed job of bringing us all together and as such there was not time for the usually meet and greet. Thankfully not that much of problem for this mission but still make sure to at the very least pretend in front of the clients that we all know each other somewhat and that we have worked together before. United front presentation and it’ll make them feel more important and valued in the grand scheme of thing.”

Taking a pause for a moment he would then quickly point to each one of his teammates and rattle of in succession.

"Close range fighter, Uchiha, Close range fighter and me that sensor and one in the flexible role. Say you full name and for the duration of the mission I advise you all to call each other by only your first name. I’m Nara Satoshi.”

There that should have been informative and serve as a good enough ice breaker at the same time. It had been so long since Satoshi had to exercise his social skills in a normal and positive way so his teammates would just have to deal with his attempt of it for now.

Kagura Shingan [Kagura Mind's Eye]

After exploring his innate sensory abilities and thanks to his perfect chakra control Satoshi was able to unlock the Kagura Shingan. This ability allows him to find, sense, and track individuals through their chakra over vast range that exceeds ten kilometers. His able to achieve this effect by focusing and opening his mind's eye, though due to the low chakra cost Satoshi is able to keep it active passively at all times (Range is 15km) and increase the range even more with the use of the jutsu(25km). The ability also extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including him, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, Satoshi can perceive its location and movement with great detail allowing him to track the movements of even those that are faster than him.

Follow the Path Better safe than sorry... Moment Music It would be interesting to see how such a situation would go, especially since everyone since their respective pick up had been mostly silent. Though in truth, it made since as they were all new to one another and were likely trying to feel each other out. Though sadly, being how she was, Ayukawa had spent much of the time simply staring at the Uchiha girl and her almost hypnotic eyes. Or they would be if they actually did something. Every horror story she had heard of the deadly clan was always linked to their eyes, so she had been sure to wear her sunglasses as she hoped it would prevent them from casting a spell on her. Still, it probably did little to help that she seemed to hold a dead stare on the girl during the trip. Sooooo creepy... Still, it wasn't as though the rest of the group was putting her at ease either... After all, she was the only Sunagakure Genin here, and that was only because it was meant as a means to show good favor in a alliance that was supposed to say they were friendly. A easy concept to understand, though quite different when in practice... To her, they were all foreign... But, a shinobi was capable of adjustment in any shape and form...So Ayukawa could do just that too.. Thankfully, Satoshi was giving them all a good head start, along with instructions on how to behave when they arrived to their destination. Introductions and orders...easy enough. As the finger of the older male was placed upon her, Ayukawa would briefly point to herself, tilting her purple tinted glasses downward as she grinned sheepishly. "Oh? Um..Saeko Ayukawa!..Sir...its sir right? Or is it sama?...Maybe senpai?" Cupping her hand beneath her face, the teen would let her gaze drift as she questioned this statement for a moment. "I mean...technically your aren't my team lead, but you are the leader of this mission...but then you just said that we should pretend so...it should be Satoshi-sensei-senpai...sir....right?"

Daitan enjoyed talking more than anything else in the world. He had just recently been promoted to Genin, and to himself, he thought that he had reached the top of the world and no one could tell him anything. But of course, he had to prove himself to everyone and the easiest way to do that was to take missions and perform well. The only problem here was, he didn't know any of these people. Two of them he had seen before while walking around the village. Actually, he was sure that he had been in the academy with one of the girls, but they didn't know each other. So how could he start a conversation with these strangers without seeming like a weirdo?

Then, the older shinobi spoke up, and he let out a sigh of relief. Now that he thought about it, it had to be weird to be in charge of a bunch of kids. What if this was the one lower ranked mission that didn't go well? They couldn't just all go smoothly, right? 

He listened as the Chunin explained the situation a little clearer to them. He nodded every time that he ended a sentence, as if to say he completely understood without saying it out loud. He did understand, but his parents always told him to confirm with his superiors that he got what they were saying, it was one of those respect things that he didn't understand but he also didn't bother trying to question it. 

So he was from the Nara clan? That explained a lot actually, he seemed very laid back, but he knew that they were well respected in the village and usually found themselves higher in the ranks. There was suddenly a lot more respect that Daitan felt towards him, heck, you could see it in his face, his constant smile got wider, because now you could tell that he trusted the man that was leading them. He began pointing at them and describing the way that they handled themselves, maybe as a way to get them to talk about themselves?

The first finger was pointed towards the girl with the sunglasses on, and she seemed like she was so prepared and unprepared at the same time. He liked her though, she was kind of like him in a way. It was hard to find kids that weren't too busy not being kids, but she was authentic. 

He watched as the finger pointed to the other girl, the one that he had went to the academy with, but Daitan panicked. He wasn't nervous, he was just so excited that he started letting loose. "H-Hello sir! I am Sarutobi Daitan, sir! I'm excited to be here and I can't wait to execute this mission, sir!" They would definitely call him a weirdo now.

Kazui walked along in relative silence, following the assigned leader as the group made their way to wherever they were headed. This was her first time being outside of Hi no Kuni, and honestly it was everything she was expecting, which was something completely different than what she was used to. The mission was weird however, they were supposed to escort some clients which seemed simple enough but, ’Why is she here?’ Kazui would ask herself as her dark gaze shifted and watched the Suna kid for a brief moment. It seemed unnecessary, but the Uchiha wouldn’t complain, not yet at least. There was a reason the girl was tagging along, she either had a certain skill that the rest of the team was missing or it had something to do with village relations. Kazui looked away, but she couldn’t help but feel the glares coming from the Suna girl.

"Do you mind?”

She would ask behind gritted teeth, her hand resting ever so slightly on her blade. The Suna had been staring at her the entire time, and it was beginning to get annoying and weird, she didn’t even try to talk to her. The girl’s gaze then shifted to the other genin, her actual teammate. The two of them would be doing a lot of this, so it was best if they worked out all the kinks they could on this mission. However, she had confidence in him, the girl only hoped that he wouldn’t make her regret it. As for the team leader, well he seemed pretty fit for the job, even though he wasn’t too fond of it. The man’s voice broke the silence. He wanted them to pretend they all worked together before, just so that the clients would feel as if they got the best shinobi squad that money could buy.

Kazui sighed softly as she spoke up.

"Sure, whatever.”

The girl would say.

"Uchi-"

Kazui would start before she would get cut off by her teammate who seemed overly excited and impatient. What is with these people? Haven’t they been taught respect? Once Daitan finished his introduction, Kazui would clear her throat and start again.

"Like I was saying….Uchiha Kazui.”

She would say as she folded her arms.

This is so troublesome But I guess I’ll do it.

There was some friction that was building up already and that had just been created but for the most part Satoshi was glad that his prompting had sort of worked. It had also given him a bit more insight into his teammates and right now every scrap helped building up the profiles in his mind. Maybe it said something about his social circle that it was the Uchiha’s attitude that he found himself most familiar with.

The deference was new and odd for the Nara but he didn’t show outwardly just how weird it was for him even if a part of him wanted to make a face at being called sir of all things, the urge to smoke increased.

Keeping himself centered though and seeing as he had been asked a question Satoshi made sure to turn towards Ayukawa briefly and smirk good naturally before replying.

"No need for all that, just Satoshi is fine. Not everyone is like that or will be of course but I for one am not much for formality.”

As he finished saying that he would also nod encouraging towards the Sarutobi and add in.

"Same goes for you Daitan."

The Uchiha seemed like a smart cookie so he only shot her a knowing gaze. Though Satoshi was willing to admit that it mostly was in order to test what conclusion she might make of it and what reaction she was going to show. Bad form probably to do so but he did need more variables.

In the same vain he considered a thought for a few moments before deciding that yes, he kind of did want to do it and part of it was valuable information as such he airily said.

"One thing I hope for though is no encounters with missing-nin. You’d be surprised by how common that is. Anyways chin ups I can sense a couple of signatures moving inwards in Arashi No kuni so probably the former escorts of the merchants meaning we are closing in.”

Hopefully that would keep the conversation going but also focus it on something else then the rest overanalyzing each other overly much. Seeing as they were also soon going to reach the meeting point Satoshi cracked his neck before straightening from his slight slouch to his full height and affirming a somewhat bored but polite look on his face.

Follow the Path "Sorry! Sorry!" Creepy and hostile...like a crocodile...but then I was kinda staring.. In waving her hands up with a nervous grin on her face, her expression would shift back to the others as they would begin their introductions as well. Though if she had believed that her own approach had been a complete fumble, nothing prepared her for that of Daitan. Who's own had been quite the spectacle in and of itself. Especially in his sudden blunting of it in the midst of the Uchiha having her own turn. With his quick, and perhaps more excited statement of his name, he had managed it, but having cut off Kazui in the process. That was enough to make her lean forward from the position opposite of her other team mate, a blank expression lingering on her face as she literally had to cover her mouth to keep from laughing too loud. Of course, Kazui seemed to manage to be a much better job at keeping her stride, which seemed almost too cold for someone who just saw two other Genin struggle. Girl either has the greatest poker face I've ever seen, or she's part puppet Internal commentary aside, the Genin would get a response to her question from Satoshi, leading her to nod as it seemed that this would be a less than formal venture for the group in more ways than just their imaginary history as a functional team. Though at least she wasn't the only one dealing with this strangeness in their own way. As the older shinobi expressed his hope that they would not have to worry over the off-chance encounter with a rogue ninja, Ayukawa's eyes would light up at the possibility. Sure, it would be tough, but any huntress relished at a challenge. Herself especially as she was ready for a fight to test herself. Of course, she'd quickly cough before looking away with a serious expression, attempting to try and be as reserved as her female counter-part. In hearing the next comment of them clearly coming closer to their contacts, the teen would blink as she removed the sunglasses completely, looking around as she even attempted to sniff the air as he appeared to "sense" people moving within the Storm country. Sensing was an advance form of tracking a target. An impressive one at that...though not as physically appealing as actually doing the footwork involved. Still, there was no arguing with results as it was a skill not all shinobi possessed. Of course, she had seen similar talents in some of the more advance hunters of her clan. But, perhaps not as quickly or with such certainty. It made her lean in toward Daitan, holding her hand up as she began to whisper. "Does he have a special ability to let him see people from this far away?"

Yup, he sure did make a fool of himself. He could tell by the way everyone looked at him, he did a bit too much. He couldn't help himself though, this just seemed like the best possible way to spend the day; out doing missions with his fellow ninja? Dai wasn't exactly an outcast, but sometimes he tended to push people away with his personality. Something about 'you can't always be that happy', but it didn't bother him, he knew that eventually someone would get used to him. 

He listened as the other girl said her name, and then he gulped. It had nothing to do with her clan, he heard about the Uchiha and he liked the idea of meeting one. This Uchiha was his actual teammate! Boy, this was going to be weird, because now he was going to have to eventually explain himself to her. 

When Satoshi acknowledged him and let him know that he didn't have to be as formal, he'd grin and nod, attempting to calm himself down. Then of course, his fears were confirmed; it was very possible that this mission could go south. Of course, Daitan wanted this mission to go as smoothly as possible, and he was hoping that they wouldn't get attacked by anyone, but something in the back of his mind was excited. He had never gotten into an actual fight before, and his inner thermometer began to rise in a mixture of fear and excitement. 

The older Shinobi then explained that he could sense themselves getting closer to their objectives, and Daitan raised a brow. Of course, this guy could actually sense chakra, but Dai did feel something warm approaching them. He of course wasn't as advanced as Satoshi, but something inside of him began beeping like a radar whenever a new presence got closer to him. Maybe he could talk to the Nara about helping him actually be able to use this skill. 

His thought process was then interrupted by the sudden, whispering voice of his other teammate. Ayukawa. He wouldn't forget that. He wouldn't cover his mouth, but his voice would be barely audible to the other two. 

"No, I think he's just sensing their chakra. I don't know a lot about it, but it's pretty cool..."

He wished he had more insight on how it worked. They were allies here so he had no problem giving her information that wasn't too confidential. They were supposed to seem like a pre-existing unit, so he wasn't doing too much by trying to get them to know each other a little better, right?

Daitan would look around for a few seconds, and then he would say something out loud that would either be another moment to look stupid, or it would help everyone get a better understanding of each other. 

"S-So since we're supposed to make it look like we all know each other, let's all say a random fact about ourselves?"

He'd straighten up a bit before saying anything, placing two hands behind his head with a goofy smile on his face. "My favorite fruit is kyoho!"

"Yeah..whatever.”

It was weird and creepy indeed. This team was already looking a bit like a failure, and they haven’t even officially started the main part of it yet. Kazui sighed softly at Ayukawa and Daitan, at least the team leader wasn’t as weird and bubbly as the other two. Daitan’s situation was understandable, but what really ran through the Uchiha’s mind was why Ayukawa stared at her, there wasn’t anything special about her in the slightest. She looked like a typical shinobi, there wasn’t anything breathtaking or interesting about her. The girl eventually shrugged it off, clearing it from her mind completely so that she could focus on the mission at hand.

As the group continued onward, Satoshi would make sure that everyone understood to only refer to one another by their first name only, Kazui would nod her head to let the guy know that she understood. The mention of nukenin seemed to change everyone’s perspective on the mission, however she didn’t react much to it, she knew it was a possibility but the chances of that happening were slim, but she did have a question. They were coming up on a few people, according to the words of Satoshi, even though she herself couldn’t see anyone, she would just take his word for it.

Kazui had nothing much to say, her mouth remained closed as she listened to the whispers of her teammates as they moved forward. However Daitan took it upon himself to break the ice even more, asking everyone to state a simple fact about themselves. It was kind of unnecessary to do so, besides there was no reason to know that his favorite fruit was kyoho, so she just ignored him, and with her arms folded, the girl would just continue to walk, taking in her surroundings before a few figures began to emerge on the horizon.

"Satoshi.”

The girl would say softly as she pointed her fingers in the direction she saw the people coming from. They were more than likely the clients the group were looking for, but Kazui’s hand rested on her blade just incase things took a turn for the worst.

Deciding to humor the Sarutobi and not dampen his enthusiasm too much seeing as Uchiha was doing enough of it for two people already, the nara actually was going to give an answer. Thinking about it off the top of his head there was only one thing he could say.

"Hmmm I would say that honestly every single redhead I have encountered up until now in my life has been absolutely troublesome and with some sort of attitude, every single one.”

Man, the more he thought about it and looked back to all of his encounters, that really was truth. It was also utterly random and should serve as a satisfyingly vague answer. Maybe he wasn’t so bad at all this communication with genin thing and was getting in the swing of things.

He was keeping attention to his surroundings and pretty much the whole of his teammates in his sight so he easily responded with a nod of his head when Kazui pointed out the approaching travelers.

"I see them. All of them are civilians.”

Well time for mission proper to start. Once he was sure he would be within eyesight of them Satoshi rose a hand in greeting.

The one who was obviously the leader quickly stepped forwards and gruffly said.

"You the escort we getting? Don’t look like much, maybe should have actually hired Tani ones.”

The nara had to resist the urge to say that, even if his team wasn’t experienced, they could probably cripple Tani by their lonesome before they were stopped…. maybe he was too much time with Sada. Thankfully of course he didn’t voice that out loud and instead replied in a bored manner.

"Could have also paid those Ame shinobi to take you all the way as well but here we are.”

The older man managed to actually snort in amusement before he spoke again.

"Probably would have come cheaper as well.”

"Quality doesn’t come cheap. Either a representation of two major villages or you know…... the rest.”

"Hah, not the first time you’ve done this have ya.”

Satoshi just casually shrugged his shoulders in response while a good-natured smirk played on his face. This role the Nara found easier to slip in and the fact the man wasn’t hard to read provided him with insight on just how far he could push the attitude and get away with it. This client was one of the easier types to charm and it helped that Satoshi didn’t have to fake too much of his attitude.

While he was thinking of that the client had motioned to one of the other men that were traveling with him to come forward. The person that did was of average height with brown hair and a pair of glasses. The most interesting thing about him was the wooden container he carried like backpack and that was Satoshi not even trying to be mean when he looked at the guy.

Still the older man clapped Glasses on the shoulder and introduced him as Yakuso. Stumbling the man pushed his glasses a bit up before speaking.

"H-Hello um you should have been warned that we would need some help as well. Ah about the Shinosimi. It’s a how do I explain it, kind of a but not at the same time since it doesn’t actually do that by itself... It is... It is a rare medical herb.”

Finished Yakuso lamely with a slump of his shoulders, thankfully the other man, that Satoshi should have really prompted to say his name, picked up and further explained that the group only knew the general location and would need help with locating it.

The nara nodded his head in understanding before turning his attention to his team.

"All right guys it’s going to be the usual. Ayukawa to take the front, Daitan and Kazui by the sides and I’ll bring up the rear.”

He made sure to make the orders sounds like they were an explanation for the benefit of the clients and not like it was the first time maneuvering them. After that he would signal that they could move if everyone had assumed positions.

Follow the Path "Ising in the bath!!" Hand held up with a smile, supporting the effort to try and support the concept of them being a team, her expression grew blank as it didn't appear that Kazui was interested at all. With her gaze shifting to their location, she'd then look over at Daitan with shrug her shoulders. "Well I thought it was a good idea..." As Satoshi introduced their group to the people under their charge, even Ayukawa found herself a little annoyed at the fact that they were being looked down on. Of course, to be fair, they likely looked a bit rough around the edges in terms of experience and appearance in general. But what team of aspiring youth wouldn't? Still, the mission was clear to her...so she'd idly look around her as she glanced once more at Kazui and then Daitan. Honestly, she knew that between the two of them, Daitan at least seemed the one with less of a serious streak going. It made her wonder if this was just how Kazui was normally, or perhaps just because of the situation? Maybe she was just hungry? She knew she could be moody too when she didn't have something to eat. That was the reason why she brought a lot of snacks for this trip. So as Satoshi seemed to get a better understand of their client, the dark haired teen would swiftly lower her bag, opening it with excitement as the idea was just too good to ignore and perhaps get her to put a smile on the Konoha's face. Or at least, make her appear less frightening and distant. Digging further in, the girl would clap her hands, thanking her ancestors as she drew out a clear white bag, displaying it to her fellow teammates. Within were six bean buns, toasted to a golden brown and leaving the girl starry eyed at their presence before her. "I got some bean buns...what one?" Speaking in a soft tone, she'd then stop as she noted the rather struggling man as he appeared to be holding a wooden box on his back. With a blank expression, Ayukawa would tilt her head slightly, seeming to pick up some of his stumbling words, but mostly getting the parts about an herb and not knowing exactly where it would exactly be. Shrugging her shoulders, she'd return her attention back on the glorious bounty before her. Though sadly, it was at that moment that it appeared that the group was about to move out, hearing her name as she began to pout slightly, yet shaking it off as she stood at attention. "On it!" Flashing a grin, the Suna nin would then kiss the bag of baked goods, placing it back within her sack as she began to happily move up to the front as she gestured that she'd offer them again later.

Well, at least someone entertained his antics. It hurt his feelings that the Uchiha girl didn't seem interested in being friendly, but there had to be a reason behind it. Daitan wouldn't give up on trying to get a reaction out of her though, this wouldn't be the only time they worked together, they had to eventually find some kind of way to get along. As she waved him off, the other two members of this temporary cell played along, and he grinned at both of their answers. 

The red head thing was going to need some further evaluation, but he wouldn't dwell on it, because now they were for sure being approached and the young Genin braced himself, immediately getting into an offensive stance. He was already on edge because of what Satoshi said about the possibility of being ambushed, the boy couldn't take any chances being a target. When they were reassured that these were the clients, Daitan would ease, getting back into his goofy, natural stance. The boy listened closely as Satoshi began shooting the breeze with what appeared to be the head guy in charge, and it warmed Daitan's heart to see that they had almost gotten along right away. Though being doubted definitely made him raise a brow. This mission wasn't even ranked that high, were they really expecting some great team of ninja to help them out?

Then the other guy came up and was introduced to the group, but he was just so..... plain. Nothing about him stood out, so Dai kind of accidentally forgot his name. But he explained that the item they were carrying was somewhat rare, and Daitan's eyes lit up a bit again, his inner ninja telling him that he may or may not have to fight someone, and he grinned at the idea. But when he realized he was smiling a bit hard, he shook his head and got back into the conversation. 

Then he began sniffing the air, his nose almost instantly picking up the smell of the bean buns, and for a second, it almost seemed like the boy was floating in the air, his body following the scent of the buns. 

But of course, he was stopped dead in his tracks as Satoshi ordered them into position. Daitan fell flat on his backside, bouncing off the ground a few times before being able to realize what happened. Standing up quickly, the boy would dust himself off and nod his head, finding himself on the right side of everyone, his face straightening up as he found himself being serious in this situation once again. He wasn't sure why he was placed here, but there had to be some kind of strategic advantage to this line up.

’Wow, we’re really doing this, huh?’ The girl would think to herself as she listened to Satoshi give his random fact, which was then followed up by Ayukawa’s. He had bad experiences with redheads, and Ayukawa likes to sing in the shower. Both were weird facts, but at least they contributed to Daitan’s idea of getting to know one another. That just left Kazui, who seemed like the asshole of the group already. She meant no harm, but there were some things that were needed and others that were not, and knowing that Ayukawa sings in the bath was one of the things they really didn’t need to know. But with everyone having provided their answers, the Uchiha felt like an outcast, which was something she was used to but still wasn’t a fan of, so as she kicked at the dirt in front of her feet, she would reluctantly answer as she folded her arms and rolled her eyes.

"My favorite food is rice. There.”

Her voice was muffled and soft as she gave her answer. There, now they couldn’t say that she was being a party pooper. As the squad continued on their path, a group of civilians became visible on the horizon, and Kazui would go out of her way to alert Satoshi. As they approached closer, the leader of the civilian group stepped forward and proceeded to have a pissing match with Satoshi. Kazui remained quiet as she watched and listened, patiently waiting for them to get on with it. Luckily they banter didn’t last long and both parties managed to shrug it off. Another guy would step towards the front and ask them for assistance looking for a medical herb of some kind. A sigh escaped the girl’s lips in slight frustration, it seemed as if they were adding on even more objectives, shouldn’t that cost them more?

The scent of bean buns filled the air for a brief moment. It seemed as if Ayukawa didn’t forget to pack a lunch, and the Uchiha chuckled a bit as Daitan seemingly floated towards the food, but flopped towards the ground once they were ordered into their positions. With a nod of her head, Kazui would make her way to the side of the travelers.

"Hai..”

The girl would say softly as she took position to the left side of the travelers, a simple formation to ensure their clients didn’t get hurt or attacked by any threat in the area.

This is so troublesome But I guess I’ll do it.

Satoshi felt amusement bubble inside him as he observed the casual antics of the genin though it did have a slight sardonic edge to it. Everyone had their stories but shinobi life tended to find ways to burden you the longer it went on and this was just their start. Only time would tell how they would be shaped by it.

Thinking like that just made the urge to smoke increase but after absentmindedly reaching for the packet in his pocket he decided against it. Instead he used his hand to form a seal and after a bit of chakra and a moment he felt his awareness expand exponentially due to the jutsu he had used.

Taking in all the information his extended sensory range gave him Satoshi monitored the situation for a few moments just in case something had decided to make their way towards the group. After the nara was sure that no one was making a beeline for them he dropped the jutsu making his range revert to its passive state.

With his paranoid nature content for now he decided that he might as well make small talk with the clients. That turned easy enough with Yakuso since as soon as he was prompted the man began talking about his work and the ins and out of it.

Satoshi nodded along when appropriate and all the other bells and whistles that were required to make someone look interested. Of course, he was actually taking in the information and processing it but it wasn’t his only or even main focus. The animal part could be useful though.

The entire group would walk uninterrupted for close to an hour and half. In that time Satoshi would maintain a steady pace and unless he was asked a question or saw the need to maintain it would leave the genin to their own devices when it came to socializing.

It was around then that they would reach apparently where the general location of the herb started. Thinking for a moment Satoshi would ask Yakuso.

"So, you are sure these… ah wild cats feed on it.”

"Yes of course. It’s part of their diet due the potent poison the frogs that are their main diet secrete. See it cause a reaction that then-----”

Interesting facts but Satoshi kind of did tune out the man again for a bit till he paused for a moment and in that time the Nara turned to Ayukawa and addressed her.

"So, you think you can find something in this area that will allow you to track the footsteps and paths these cats have taken towards a river area. They are house cat sized, usually roaming but hang around rivers if that would be of any help. If you can we’ll follow that trail otherwise well we’ll just have to try our luck with all the near rivers around us.”

The last part was said in way that included the rest of his team in order to make sure they were up to speed with would happen should this prove fruitless.

Kagura Shingan [Kagura Mind's Eye]

After exploring his innate sensory abilities and thanks to his perfect chakra control Satoshi was able to unlock the Kagura Shingan. This ability allows him to find, sense, and track individuals through their chakra over vast range that exceeds ten kilometers. His able to achieve this effect by focusing and opening his mind's eye, though due to the low chakra cost Satoshi is able to keep it active passively at all times (Range is 15km) and increase the range even more with the use of the jutsu(25km). The ability also extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including him, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, Satoshi can perceive its location and movement with great detail allowing him to track the movements of even those that are faster than him.

Follow the Path "Lion...sleeps tonightttt" Ayukawa would lead the wagon at it's head, taking in the sights as she held her hands behind her head. Of course, looking across the landscape, it was easy to note many of the different features that formed up from even the strangest of places. She could hear the animals at play, and those that were silently in slumber or in waiting to pounce. Yet, she held little doubt that the gathered numbers for this carvan had more than scared off most of them. Of course, it seemed as if that might not be the best thing...especially as with the passage of time came boredom. It wasn't long before the teen was soon playing with her own hands, encasing them together as she began wavering them in front of her and looking at her shadow. As the dark image seemed to imitate that of a wave, her eyes would stop to look for a moment, her ears picking up sudden movement, yet it soon fading away. Something was close by, though it was probably no more than just the local wild-life that settled in this place. Shrugging her shoulders, her attention would once more move to her hands, leading to her laughing at this faceless double before finally stopping as she reached into her pockets. Drawing out one of the ten pound weights that she used in her own training, the girl would tilt her head to the side as she began tossing it up and down. It was a simple action, but it would at least keep her attention and focus for the time being. Though before she even realized it, the group would come to a halt, leading to her swiftly placing the bag back inside her coat as she began to move around to listen to the man with the box on his back. Hearing both him and Satoshi speak of the diet of a certain wild cat, her interest suddenly peaked as she began to listen in, prompting her to look over at the man with a renewed excitement as she held up her hand to interject. Of course, that was before the older shinobi refocused the conversation, prompting a pout to cross her lips as she let her body slump. Though as she was soon put into the game, her body would rise up with a gleeful grin coming over her face as she bounced up and down. This was awesome! It was a hunt! "THE HUNT IS ON!!!" Raising her fist in the air, she then pulled it down as she nodded her head. "Leave it to me! I just need a sec!" Her hands held out, she'd soon begin to move across the area, her eyes scanning as it seemed as if a serious expression came over her that was more unnatural considering her usual demeanor. Narrowing her vision, her senses would start to take hold as she began to move slowly across the landscape, her body lowered as she began examination the very ground itself, taking it in as she sniffed at it and then began to look from one side to the next. She was getting something..but she would need time... SPOILER: Click to show -S.A Used- Lion's Sleep Hunter instincts and experience on the hunt have granted Ayukawa insight into the minds of the prey she encounters. Animalistic encounters have allowed her to track and be capable of following those that she intends to target, at times giving her brief, but small insight into their intentions. While not fully developed, they allow for her to be less than likely to be caught off guard in a extreme moment, but it isn't as developed as one with further experience in the art.

Being a ninja sounded like the best thing in the world to a kid that loved running around and being free. But, he knew that eventually he would come across the missions that would require him to limit his movement, and of course his very first mission ever would be the one. He tapped his legs impatiently as they moved closer and closer to the target area, anyone that happened to look over at him could tell that he was definitely not having the best time. 

After an hour and some change, they finally reached their location and Daitan let out a sigh of relief. He didn't mean for it to be as vocal as it was, but everyone would have heard it and he would just look around and shrug his shoulders. Did they say something about wild cats? Eh, there was enough people here to fight off a wildcat, right? No matter the size, they should be fine. As Satoshi began letting out orders, something in Daitan alerted him; a certain, very familiar urge hit the boy and he kind of stiffened up. He had to pee, really bad. He kind of looked over at the older ninja and gave him a look before saying; "Permission to step to the side for a sec?"  

Before he could even get an answer, the bite sized Sarutobi would begin to run off. He would run until he found a river that was out of sight from the rest of the group. Before he knew it, he found himself letting it all out in the river, a relaxed sound coming from his mouth as he let it go. The boy didn't even notice that something was staring at him from the distance. 

As he finished up, he'd zip his pants up and walk the opposite direction of how the river flowed so that he could rinse his hands off without getting urine on them. Just as he dipped his hands in, something sprang out on him and began attacking his face. Before he knew it, Daitan was screaming and running back towards the direction of everyone else. His eyes were closed so he couldn't tell exactly what had jumped on his face but he knew one thing...

"GETITOFFME! GETITOFFME! SOMEONEHELPMEPLEASE!"
