SThe blue sky was clear not a cloud in sight. It was quite busy on the streets since most people were off and because of the nice weather lots of people went off for a walk. Sora Sarutobi was one of the people that went out. He wasn't walking on the streets though since Sora was seeing everything upsidedown at the moment. Sora was hanging calmly upside down on one of the roof rafters. His lower legs laying on the roof while the rest of his body was hanging over the edge. He was hanging there calmly without a worry in the world.



Sora was known to be lazy by most people only his old teammates knew he did more then he was actually showing to everyone. They knew Sora gave it all for his teammates and village on mission and training. Now was the moment to relax though. So he was just hanging with his signature grey hoodie over his upper body that fell a but down revealing lower athletic-looking lower abdomen. His two trench knives nicely and securely into the holster of his upper legs and his headband knotted nicely around his right upper leg his below the holster of his trench knife. It was a nice day to relax and he was using it like he should The only thing missing was some drinks and some food. Further, everything was going great.

Inoyami loved nice weather but it was Kiyoriki who seemed like a whole different animal when the sun was out. The sweet little thing liked to romp around the forests on days like this, and she just couldn't tell her no. And so, Inoyami had prepared a few things for her trip into the forest just outside the village. She never went far, but she did always bring more than enough snacks in case she spent more time among the wilds than she meant to.

Today, she brought along a small backpack filled with food, treats, toys for Riki (not that she ever really used them), a blanket, and a thermos of water. Inoyami had zero clan errands today, which was a rarity. So, a nap and snacks in the sunshine it would be.

With Kiyoriki perched on top of her left shoulder, she set out from home, walking along the main roads toward the forest. She caught sight of some signs on the way, though. Advertisements for some kind of street performance. Were there traveling performers visiting the village? It must've been brand new, as the signs weren't up the day before...

Inoyami walked further down to read the fine print on the signs, only to see a guy about her age hanging from one of the rooftops. Just like a bat. She stopped and turned to give him a look.

"That doesn't look very comfortable," she called up. "Are you all right?" How was that easy to do? Wasn't all the blood rushing to his head?

On her shoulder, Kiyoriki began flicking her tail this way and that, clearly eager to get to the forest and wondering why they'd stopped. Beady, dark eyes darted around to the nearby people walking the same street. The squirrel didn't have high intelligence but she did have high curiosity for absolutely everything and it showed.

While Sora was hanging upside down when he suddenly heard a voice under him calling out towards him. Sora's blue grey eyes looked down towards the blonded haired girl. He looked at her for a second before he got a big smile on his face and made a big thumbs up towards her. It didn't last long though before something else cought his eyes.  Something more fluffy with black beady eyes. Sora took a deep breath in before almost screaming "squirrel!" he unhooked his legs from the roof so he fell downwards towards the ground. In the fall he quickly pulled his knees towards his chest giving him a backwards rotation so he can land calmly on his feet after half a backlfip. 

Sora would land on his feet and turned around so he was face to face with the squirrel. "Cute little squirrel." He said with his reach his left hand towards the squirrel attempting to pet it. It was only hoping the squirrel and the blond-haired girl would allow it. That was always the big question.

Kiyoriki usually was the one who got the most attention. This guy's sudden interest in her didn't get the best reaction, though, because the second the man's hand got close enough, 'Riki lunged forward to bite whatever finger she could chomp down on first. If the stranger was quick enough, he could recoil his hand in time. But if not...

"She doesn't like strangers," Inoyami explained, flashing an apologetic smile. She couldn't really say "sorry" on her pet's behalf, though. Kiyoriki was only doing what came natural to her.

"You're right, though. She is pretty cute." The blonde reached up and pet the squirrel, nudging the side of her little face with a few knuckles and a smile. "You check out the performers yet?" she asked, glancing in the direction of one of the signs. "Probably more fun than hanging from the roof, right?"

Though, for all she knew, he already had. Maybe they were nothing special. She hoped that wasn't the case, though, because Inoyami fully intended to check them out for herself. Kiyoriki didn't enjoy large crowds, but a passing inspection before hitting the forest wouldn't hurt anything.
