Seeking out the Aiel was perhaps one of small victories Arashi could call successful in her usage of collecting information on individuals. Granted, she was still certainly new to the aspect of combing through reports, but honestly it had proven to be more receptive than her attempts at finding Asahi. Which she still managed to look for as she made her way through to the badlands. It was the last known sighting of the Aiel Clan, and one report mentioned seeing a large tribe gathered within the area. Of course, if they were much like the Saeko Clan, they may have already moved on. Her father didn't seem to have much hope in her finding them, but honestly...she was willing to take the risk in this case.... There were a lot of things running through her mind right now, and while it may have been a jab at her own securities, it had left it's mark as she began questioning certain aspects of her life and things she had been allowing herself to let go of. Her father faults being one of them, but not the biggest. Though she certainly had her disagreements with Shukaku, he wasn't the one that seemed to create a pit in her stomach, not like he used to anyway. Plus, perhaps her living and also working the same place as her father hadn't been helping much in those matters. So her extended leave was likely for the best. Even if she didn't find them, she might well take this opportunity to check in on her investment within Sekara. As she moved out into the open area, the cloaked female would begin to scan her surroundings with a calm expression. Nothin yet....Great.. I wouldn't allow your guard to lower just yet...remember...these people have managed to learn my power and take it upon themselves...meaning that they have just as much knowledge of this place as you do...and they are just as likely to know of us being here as well.. Even better...maybe that means they won't try and kill me... It isn't completely imposssible...after all...they would be happy to release me back into the land as a blessing...Now that I think about it... Seriously? The extent of this control is due to the supply gathered within her gourd, granting the bonus of power, but limited to only the amount contained within it. This ability makes her constructions more dense and harder to break down, and the swiftness of their creation is instant rather than requiring the prior time of build-up as before due to the strengthened bond between Arashi and Shukaku Ultimate Defense A Skill granted by her continued use and developed relationship with Shukaku over the continued use of his control over sand, Arashi has a stronger connection to the element, allowing her to use it at a much more intensive rate than before. As such, her defenses are much more adapt and capable of taking on stronger attacks and reinforcing itself at faster speed. This adaptation to the sand shield allows for it's reaction time to have increased and make it more challenging for attacks to connect and break through the first layer, while acting still on the natural inclinations of auto-repairing itself for the next strike. Sand Control Arashi is granted two forms of defense by the Ichibi. The first one is a subconscious ability granted by the Bijuu is that there is constantly a barrier of sand clinging to Arashi’s skin. This barrier acts as a shield against her skin, absorbing heavy blows and protecting her. Her sand defense is very tough, being very difficult to break through. The sand has been likened to steel and concrete. The second form is one which pulls sand from her surroundings and the sand piled on her skin to form a visible barrier and dome like barrier around her. The sand is typically pulled from the ground and any nearby source. Arashi’s various dogs often have a plentiful amount of sand carried in their thick coats. As such, the sand is often pulled from their coats to be used to protect the girl. Through the course of her training, Arashi has learned to control both of these forms of defense to a degree, making her much more capable of mounting a defense in a variety of ways. But she still at times must incumbent some cooperation from Shukaku to ensure of it's sustainability. Arashi can control sand and wind around herself to whip up sandstorms with powerful gusts. The sandstorm often appears when she’s emotionally strained and damaged. If there is no sand around her, powerful breezes will still gather around her. Shukaku enjoys teasing the girl to the point where sandstorms appear. But with the course of time, Arashi had grown more comfortable with this and developed a thick skin towards such actions by the Bijuu. While Arashi had previous had little to no control over her other sand related abilities, she has a somewhat capable hand at this one. Because of the trauma of her sand attacking her classmates at a young age, Arashi has managed to reign in some of this power. Learning to bend the sand to her will, Arashi can keep it from hurting those she doesn’t want it to hurt. Sand will be gathered from nearby sources to be used as a weapon when this ability activates. This ability typically only activates when Arashi is in severe danger, but it has now become possible for her to do so with ease. Though it is more prone to activating near or on full moons. The sand takes the form of blunt objects or tendrils to bash or choke enemies. During moments of extreme strain, Arashi loses all control over this ability as well. Fuuinjutsu Savant Within her youth, Arashi had always been a natural when it came to the art of sealing techniques. Trained under one of it's great masters, her skill and understanding of this nearly forgotten artform only grew and has become more seasoned over time. With this knowledge, the shinobi is capable of identifying the nature and abilities of a seal just by looking at it, mapping out their structure, strength, and abilities based on previous experience and her own studies with the craft. The desert seemed barren and devoid of life. Not a single person in sight, not a single trail to follow. The ever changing sands were good at covering traces of settlement and people as quickly as the wind touched upon the endless dunes in the Land that had its name. Everything that could be there or could've been there was concealed by the sands of time.

However, they were concealed to the eyes.

Arashi was also one with the sand, one who could read it, understand it, see its history. Her sensing ability attuned to her chakra expanded through the seemingly endless desert until it reached something, until it found some resistance far into the distance, too far to truly see, but definitely something unusual, yet oddly familiar, for it was an ability that somehow mirrored her own. Its direction? To the far west of where she was. At a walking pace? Maybe a couple hours. If she rushed towards it, she could make it within a few minutes, but at the risk of revealing her presence to whatever it was.

Though the two were often at odds, they were at least in agreement that they needed the other to survive. the fact remained that while Arashi wasn't Shukaku's choice, he had indeed grown connected to her in the years that they had been bonded. There was no denying that fact. They held scars from their encounters with one another, and that ensured that they knew the strength of the other. While it might be convenient to let whatever possible threat take the girl, it would do him little to be reborn in a place that could not shield him, nor would it be any better to try yet another prison that may very well be less than willing. Not to mention mobile. As the two settled within their position, the tingling sensation of chakra against chakra was enough to put them both on notice, prompting the young female to turn in the direction of the west. You felt that too? Someone is using a pale imitation of my power...but yes...it is similar enough...I suggest you prepare yourself... Narrowing her eyes, her hazel gaze would continue to look toward the distance, her hands resting at her side as she began to dissolve into dust, her body fading into the wind as she moved as a blurred cloud. The distance was much easier to cross in this form, but she imagined that if she was capable of sensing this presence that so closely matched her own, there was a good chance that whomever was behind it may be capable of the same. All-Covering Forests and Ten Thousand Things Assimilate Technique A technique that Arashi learned from Shukaku, it was grafted upon the creativity and consumption of a variety of different environments and adapting them to the needs of the user. When Arashi first learned of this, she used them simply as a means of allowing her to move with the usage of her sand, traveling among the currents of the wind from one place to the next. Though over time, she has adapted to them and made that very nature part of herself and learned to manipulate it to more than just the desert itself. With this growing understanding, comes her ability to use it to better suit her needs. Such as assimilation of Steel into her skin, or ash to the very minerals that build up the sand she controls to her will. This knowledge grants her the means to take these parts of her environment and impart them into her very being. While this is a short lived experience, they aid her in her ability to control the situation and to protect herself from threats that her Ultimate Sand Defense can not predict and allow for her to better protect herself. (Post Count limit:3) Enhanced Smell Somehow, Arashi has gained an enhanced sense of smell. It appears that she’s been hanging around dogs for too long and has obtained a sense of smell that rivals that of a blood hound. In reality, she has simply discovered that by channeling some chakra to her nose she can enhance the cells within it and gain a super sense of smell that may act as a sensor and tracking technique. She can smell out strangers, steel and various other things. Arashi may retract her chakra from her nose as well to make her sense of smell return to normal. Due in most regards to her heavily enhanced sense of smell, With her continued usage of this ability, she has now become capable of near passively monitoring the exact range of a target and their positioning within 250 meters. Swiftly traveling through the wind of the desert, Arashi approached the source of what she felt in no time. As she reformed herself near an unnaturally big sand dune, two figures hooded figures clocked in a dark brown poncho-like clothing emerged slowly from the sand. With a wave of their hand, sand came out of the gourd they carried on their back and formed into six sand shurikens in total, which flew towards Arashi, hitting the ground right in front of her.

Those were warning shots.

"Leave. Or die." the ominous voice from one of the figures lacked any emotion, but they sounded serious enough. Maybe there was still room to talk, but she would definitely need to measure her words, for these two seemed not only ready to engage, but quite capable in battle.

If the woman was observant enough, she would notice that despite the strong winds, the large dune from where they came from seemed to be keeping most of its shape, with just a thin layer of sand on the outside of it moving at all. It didn't look natural, and if she was using her sensory ability, there was a huge amount of chakra coming from the inside of it.

The arrival of the Oonakayama Princess hadn't gone unnoticed, or unheard. With her standing before a strange dune that seemed almost out of place, two figures seemed to appear from the sand and greet her in a less than peaceful manner, even threatening her to leave or face death. With the sand shuriken throw down at her feet, she'd take a slight step back while keeping her gaze upon the two hooded figures. Guess I found em...now what? Their manipulation of sand was evident of that and she couldn't see any trace of a device attempting to mock such elemental control. She'd only encountered one such figure to do so, and he was locked away. These were indeed the people of whom Shukaku blessed with his Sand Manipulation Technique. Or, they replicated it? History was funny like that. As she narrowed her eyes upon the two, she'd continue to sense the odd structure at their back, clearly giving off some sense of Chakra, but it wasn't exactly natural. It was already strange that despite the wind in the area, it was hardly shedding anything. Was there something beneath it? Or was it even a dune at all? "Well...clearly I ain't goin anywhere...so how bout we just get some things out the way first..." With a swift extension of her palm, a blade of wind would surge out from it's center, releasing a crescent form of Fuuton in the direction of the dune's surface as she braced herself for the vibration that came from such an attack. Upon lowering her palm as to see just what laid before her, she'd then speak again from the cover of her hood, allowing her eyes to shift to a golden hue. NAME: Jūha Shō [Beast Tearing Palm] RANK: B CHAKRA USAGE: Medium [Continuous] CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Fūton DESCRIPTION: A powerful technique of wind nature chakra that can cut and slash through most materials like most wood and stone. The activates it by channeling chakra in their right hand, and then swipes a slicing chakra wave which appears to be controlled by user's will and thoughts. A user is also able to use the technique in a rapid-fire, successive motion.Though the longer it is used for and how many times it used can be very chakra taxing and is not recommended for prolong use. -Items Used- Sand Gourd -Familiar Used-

With the announcement that she was not going away, the two cloaked figures started letting more sand out of their gourd. Their manipulation of it was pretty good, but would they be able to face someone of Arashi's caliber? Well, seemed like they were at least willing to try. Still, the Jinchuuriki moved faster than they did, and launched her powerful Wind Release attack towards the artificial dune.

"Now!" one of them exlaimed.

In synch, both moved their arms and the sand tried to create a shield to block the attack from hitting the dune. However, Arashi's power towered over theirs, and her wind pierced through their sand - albeit with some resistance - and hit the dune, creating a hole on it. Although the impact was far more reduced than she had initially anticipated, the breach was big enough for her to peak inside and see that it was hollow.

She could also see some tents inside of it, and some figures in the distance, but it was hard to see in details, as the sand started to slowly close that breach. Feeling the thing they were protecting under threat, one of the hooded figures lounged forward, drawing a scimitar looking blade. Before he got into melee range, however, he would manipulate the sand in his gourd to launch it at Arashi's eyes.

From their movements so far, they seemed to have the level of a fresh chuunin at best. They were way over their heads, but they seemed determined enough.

It was in moments like this when Arashi had to scold herself on her less than tactful approach to certain situations. Especially when things seemed to be hidden from her. Considering her entrance, it seemed natural to be protective, but upon revealing a small glimpse of what laid behind the deception behind the dune, her eyes would widen for a moment, allowing the golden hue to fade as she backed away. She had been right to come here, but her arrival and introduction had been less than gracious or peaceful. "Oh shit..." With the sand returning to protect it's hidden settlement entrance, it's defenses were already preparing to mount another assault, leading to the young female reeling back as sand began to block out her vision. As an attack was incoming, the Jounin would prepare for it, smelling the wavering odor of metal within the breeze as her Sand barrier phased forth to protect her. Yet in stringing three seals before it, the girl seemed unable to prepare fast enough, causing the blade to cut through and pierce the Jinchuuriki. With her seeming to be down, the truth would reveal itself as Arashi would appear at his side, her hand reaching out toward his chest, a curse mark appearing on the surface of her palm as she placed a seal upon his cloths. From there, a great weight would seem to be forced down upon him, pressing him backward to the ground, hopefully immobilizing them for the time being. "Sorry...but I really don't have time for this..." From there, that would leave the one remaining, allowing for the Jounin to begin her approach as she drew back her hood. But before he could even feel good about his successful attack, the image he had cut had disappeared, and the real Arashi appeared beside him. The man lowered his guard, albeit not completely. "For someone wanting to talk, your approach failed to indicate such intentions. Where do you come from, stranger? And what's the business you have with the elders? Answer that and I will inform them of your presence once you release my companion from your technique." the figure stated with a serious tone.

When Arashi mentioned the Hidden Sand Village, the hooded figure froze for a second. The sand slowly went back to his gourd, showing he was no longer under the assumption to be under threat. Maybe it was foolish of his part, or maybe he just accepted the fact that - when facing a shinobi from a village - he had no chance of victory. Whether this or that was the reason, the mention of the power of the desert cemented his willingness to cooperate with the woman rather than oppose her. With a firm nod he spoke to her again.

"I see. Very well then. I shall open the gates for you. I must insist you release my colleague, but I will believe you will do so as I work on your access to our village." and upon saying that, the hooded figure turned to the dune behind him, extending both his hands towards it, and slowly, the sand started to move away until it eventually created an arched entrance. Inside, many black tents spread out in an area that would be slightly smaller than a village, but lively enough to show that a clan could very well be living there.

Once the gates were opened, the man would keep one of his hands stretched towards it, as if to hold the sand from reforming the dune and with his other hand he pointed to a larger tent in the centre of the area. "You will find the elder there. My colleague shall guide you there and announce your presence." he added.

Once the pressure was lifted from the man, he quickly got back to his feet. He didn't stare into Arashi's eyes and instead made haste to pass through the arch and enter the village. Arashi smiled and apologised, but didn't fail to point out that he did try to harm her first and he nodded. "That I cannot deny. I apologise. We didn't know who you were." he stated. Once they entered the dune, the hooded figure who kept it open remained outside and the entrance slowly closed.

The one guiding her removed the hood covering his had and face, revealing he was rather young, not any older than 15 or 16.

"The council of elders are inside. I ask that you wait outside while I announce your presence here. But for that..." he paused, turning to face the woman and bowing briefly with his head only. "I need your name." he explained.

The young man nodded after she told him his name and he entered the tent. For a few minutes, nothing really happened. Nobody came out, no word could be heard. What Arashi could see was the members of the Aiel clan, oddly cautious of strangers, shying away inside their tents, with some of them peeking through the cracks, whispering. It wasn't until a child approached the woman, bringing a water bottle that some people peaked their heads outside of their tents. The tension was almost palpable, but they dare not to say a word. None but this child had approached, hoping this travelling stranger would accept her simple, yet precious offer.

After around twenty minutes, the young man came out of the tent and bowed his head to Arashi once more. "The elders are ready to talk to you, Arashi-sama." he announced, opening one of the clothes closing the entrance of that large tent so that the woman could go inside. "Please." he said, waiting for her to enter so he could once again close the tent.

This ability makes her constructions more dense and harder to break down, and the swiftness of their creation is instant rather than requiring the prior time of build-up as before due to the strengthened bond between Arashi and Shukaku Ultimate Defense A Skill granted by her continued use and developed relationship with Shukaku over the continued use of his control over sand, Arashi has a stronger connection to the element, allowing her to use it at a much more intensive rate than before. As such, her defenses are much more adapt and capable of taking on stronger attacks and reinforcing itself at faster speed. This adaptation to the sand shield allows for it's reaction time to have increased and make it more challenging for attacks to connect and break through the first layer, while acting still on the natural inclinations of auto-repairing itself for the next strike. Sand Control Arashi is granted two forms of defense by the Ichibi. The first one is a subconscious ability granted by the Bijuu is that there is constantly a barrier of sand clinging to Arashi’s skin. This barrier acts as a shield against her skin, absorbing heavy blows and protecting her. Her sand defense is very tough, being very difficult to break through. The sand has been likened to steel and concrete. The second form is one which pulls sand from her surroundings and the sand piled on her skin to form a visible barrier and dome like barrier around her. The sand is typically pulled from the ground and any nearby source. Arashi’s various dogs often have a plentiful amount of sand carried in their thick coats. As such, the sand is often pulled from their coats to be used to protect the girl. Through the course of her training, Arashi has learned to control both of these forms of defense to a degree, making her much more capable of mounting a defense in a variety of ways. But she still at times must incumbent some cooperation from Shukaku to ensure of it's sustainability. Arashi can control sand and wind around herself to whip up sandstorms with powerful gusts. The sandstorm often appears when she’s emotionally strained and damaged. If there is no sand around her, powerful breezes will still gather around her. Shukaku enjoys teasing the girl to the point where sandstorms appear. But with the course of time, Arashi had grown more comfortable with this and developed a thick skin towards such actions by the Bijuu. While Arashi had previous had little to no control over her other sand related abilities, she has a somewhat capable hand at this one. Because of the trauma of her sand attacking her classmates at a young age, Arashi has managed to reign in some of this power. Learning to bend the sand to her will, Arashi can keep it from hurting those she doesn’t want it to hurt. Sand will be gathered from nearby sources to be used as a weapon when this ability activates. This ability typically only activates when Arashi is in severe danger, but it has now become possible for her to do so with ease. Though it is more prone to activating near or on full moons. The sand takes the form of blunt objects or tendrils to bash or choke enemies. During moments of extreme strain, Arashi loses all control over this ability as well. Enhanced Smell Somehow, Arashi has gained an enhanced sense of smell. It appears that she’s been hanging around dogs for too long and has obtained a sense of smell that rivals that of a blood hound. In reality, she has simply discovered that by channeling some chakra to her nose she can enhance the cells within it and gain a super sense of smell that may act as a sensor and tracking technique. She can smell out strangers, steel and various other things. Arashi may retract her chakra from her nose as well to make her sense of smell return to normal. Due in most regards to her heavily enhanced sense of smell, With her continued usage of this ability, she has now become capable of near passively monitoring the exact range of a target and their positioning within 250 meters. (Able to turn "off and on" this enhanced sense at the 'prick' of chakra to her nose) Fuuinjutsu Savant Within her youth, Arashi had always been a natural when it came to the art of sealing techniques. Trained under one of it's great masters, her skill and understanding of this nearly forgotten artform only grew and has become more seasoned over time. With this knowledge, the shinobi is capable of identifying the nature and abilities of a seal just by looking at it, mapping out their structure, strength, and abilities based on previous experience and her own studies with the craft.
