As the girl took the time she needed Shinzo using what little chakra he had left would craft a barrier as Taki gathered another modicum of sage energy and with Aki supplying her once more the girl would garner a sizeable amount of power after absorbing the energy her transformation would look as monstrous as ever however her features this time around seemed more human than normal her skin was still significantly harrier and her hair wild and untamed and even her skin having a slightly darker complexion but gone were the days of her half human half animal appearance she was getting closer and closer to mastery, but how well would it hold up in a fight.

As the dome was rocked by another smashing of the barrier the girl would consume a chakra pill in order to keep herself at optimal strength as it thankfully endured. "I'm goin in you guys gotta ge outta ere…now!”with that Taki would craft a few hand seals and burrow herself underground careful not to aggravate the ground beneath her and alert her foe. But after a moment Taki would arrive out behind her enemy of her foe letting out a disorienting which could've potentially disrupted her opponents plan of attack.

Wasting no time, Taki would dashing into her foe at a lighting fast pace attempting to grab hold of them gripping her body and then electrifying it with a surge of electricity to force her to relinquish her weapon. If successful she’d pull her arms just above the woman's abdominal area. Hoping to damage her ribs and then proceed to lift the woman over her head with her titanic strength and slam her head and neck first into the ground behind her with the strength afforded to her from sage mode in addition to her proficiency with her grappling techniques was more than enough to leave her severely injured if not disoriented, Aki who recognized this routine would scurry into the pocket of her jacket.

Taught while learning from the apes, it is said that those who were taught the the great ape sage hold a resistance near immunity to the technique so that the user doesn't harm theirself. The range of this while in sage mode is 45m, and the effects usualy last only for a post.

The Okada Suplex is a maneuver initiated by going behind the opponent and grabbing hold of the victim by the waist and lift them over their head and slam them onto the ground behind them. Applying pressure to the head and neck of their opponent with enough force to break it on contact. If the user has a secure enough hold and the opponent is unable to escape, the user could perform another. The user rather than hold the victim can or release them causing the opponent to land on the back of the head and neck if they have no way of breaking their fall, possibly causing further damage to the head and neck area.

She did the same, predicting that they'd either see a waist-height horizontal slash meant to eviscerate anyone still inside the domes as they were destroyed- or vertically down the middle to split it open like a musk melon!

Once the attack either landed, or Taki attacked and interrupted it, Souma leapt into action, creating a shallow, wide dome of steel with holes around the bottom edge, far too short to hide anyone beneath it. A quick grab and shove sent it hurling end over end to turn over into a makeshift sled. Shoving herself into the harness she'd used for Nanabi earlier, she lashed the other ends into the holes in the dome to tether it to herself before executing another jutsu. This time, she created two very simple items- a pair of forked steel spears erupting out of the ground and shoving up the rear edge of the exterior steel dome, prying it up just enough to allow some clearance.

"Get in and flatten!!!" Presuming the trio did, Souma hurled her own cables out under the spears, burying into the earth to drag herself and the sled out before rolling to her feet and using the cables to pull them away from the fight while Taki dealt with their attacker, their defenses already thoroughly compromised as she rushed them away as best she could. "If you see an attack incoming, do not hesitate to call it out or to flip the sled for shelter. I will make do!"

The barrier did well in stopping the last attack, but it did take all it got, as the Sabre Technique broke through each layer of the barrier, showing just how powerful the kunoichi and her weapon were. With that out of the way, she snickered. "Impressive. You still managed to defend yourself from my attack. I can respect that, but it will end now." she said, but before she could approach, Taki appeared from underground surprising the woman, who tried to use Quick Rotation to face the Sage, and even though she managed to turn around and face her, she wasn't fast enough to avoid her attack, partially because of the disorienting screech, which made the woman flinch and try to cover her ears. "You little shi..!" before she could complete her sentence, Taki would grab the woman and send a jolt of electricity from her glove, which made her lose the grip on her Naginata, which fell to the ground in a loud thud.

As she moved to slam her to the ground, she managed to spit out a blast o Wind Release to cushion her fall, and it did help her reduce significantly the damage she would be taking. If she hadn't pulled that one off, she would be into some serious trouble now.

With a bleeding forehead and an angered expression, the woman moved her finger and the Naginata lifted from the ground and darted like an arrow, aiming to hit Taki's back, but if the Sage managed to dodge her attack, the Naginata would continue its path until it was back on the woman's hand, who would then channel her chakra through the weapon and start throwing wind blades at Taki, a total number of three. However, with Taki keeping her busy, the team had the opportunity to flee from the area."Die, brat!" she roared as she attacked.

After releasing her grapple she’d notice a cushioning of her blow by the Jounin, which was enough to burst the girls grip and allow her to roll free. As this happened the girl would stand herself up and would notice that her weapon had begun to rattle as if it were in motion prompting Taki to spin her body to turn towards her opponent. As the weapon raced towards her opponent Taki would begin sprinting towards her to try and intercept her attack but seeing the deadly saber’s the girl would use the body flicker technique in order to maneuver herself behind her opponent.

If she managed to succeed once she stopped she’d grab hold of the woman’s arm from behind while also at the same time wrapping her hand around her neck. Upon grabbing her she’d send sending a jolt into her body, specifically her arm in an effort to try and disable it, hopefully able to force her weapon from her grasp. The strength of her grip would be enough to potentially break her wrist rendering her unable to take advantage of it and with the electric voltage running through her moving was more than likely difficult.

At the same time Taki would also keep a tight hold of her neck capitalizing on the potential head injury she suffered from with a debilitating choke hold in an effort to try and keep her in place and deprive her of oxygen and while the hold was rather rudimentary she was more so attempting to force the woman to waste chakra and buy time for the others to get away, however if her gambit paid off she could potentially keep her opponent down an arm at worst and completely knocked out at best and as the electricity surged from her hands into the Jounin's body she was hoping for the latter.

Souma kept moving, pausing only once, to sling her cable to the side to snag and reel in her fuma shuriken, before resuming their flight, aiming first to break line of sight, and secondarily to try to find a downward slope where the sled could be used for a more rapid escape than the medic dragging it all at top speed. Her face was white, and her jaw clenched brutally. Leaving Taki behind was the last thing she wanted to do.

She had to be honest, though. Speed was her biggest area of weakness. She couldn't keep up with it or react to it. She'd been training to do just that, but so far? Still an absolute achilles heel she couldn't afford. Putting herself on the field would likely mean Taki would put herself in more danger trying to protect her.

Or not. That might even be the wiser play. She couldn't bear to think of what it would be like in that situation, but the best she could do was spare them both finding out. So she kept running, kept lashing her cables forwards to haul them at higher speeds, and put all her faith in her friend's skills.

Surely she'd come out on top.

Souma was focusing on distancing herself - and the members of Squad 11 - from the battleground and was doing a good job at it, even though she wasn't the fastest shinobi there. With Taki holding the ground against their powerful opponent, they had a chance of making a run for it, and that seemed to be the wise thing to do, for the goal of the mission was to rescue the injured, not to engage with their potential assassin.

As for Taki, she charged against her opponent, and when it seemed like she was about to try and block the wind blades, she instead used the Body Flicker to move out of the way. The woman clicked her tongue in annoyance and started looking around, trying to predict from where Taki would be coming then. She had used Quick Rotation again to turn to her back just in time to see Taki lounging at her. She attempted to stab the blonde with the Naginata, but it was too late and it merely grazed Taki's cheeks.

But the Okada managed to grab the woman in a tight grip and sent the jolt of electricity through her body. "ARGH!!!" she screeching in pain as the lightning scorched the insides of her body, forcing her to drop the weapon. Her arm was broken as well.

The lack of oxygen was also an issue and the woman was struggling to try and escape. With one of her arms broken, she couldn't really waive hand seals either, but luckily for her, she could use without hand seals. Her intact arm would start channeling wind chakra to her arm and then she would swipe it up, aiming at Taki's arm. The Okada would have enough time to react to it, if she chose to, otherwise, she would be facing a powerful wind slash to her arm, which could be potentially maiming if she wasn't careful.

Still, the woman's goal was not to really injure Taki, but more so force her to let go of her for long enough so she could make a run for it. In this situation, escaping with her life was more valuable than trying to complete her own mission.

As the girl would keep her grip around the girls neck Taki would hear the snap of the bone breaking but before she could apply the last of her pressure she’d notice the womans arm moving towards her and in response Taki would let out a wail right in the woman's ear in order to prevent the woman from moving if she succeeded she would then sweep her opponents leg out from under her causing her to slam head first into the ground exacerbating her head injury and potentially knocking her out.

Taki contemplated killing her, looking down at the weapon but the opponent was beaten and this wasn’t an assasination mission, thought she worried that she would come to regret it later on and for good measure would take the naginata and deliver the final coup de gras stabbing her in the chest she knew their faces and could potentially be a loose end in the future.

Afterwards Taki would take the woman's body along with her weapon and hurry off towards the grounded metal shell and would uproot it seeing the small tunnel that was made inside heading within in order to catch up with the remainder of the crew. However overusing sage mode and consuming nearly all of her chakra pills left her rather exhausted she’d catch up but would be rather winded hopefully the remainder of the route back would be a hopefully safe passage.

Souma didn't slow down until she could confirm for herself that the one coming up on their position was Taki, carrying the body and the weapon. Only then did the medic slow and give her a chance to catch up, looking back the way she had come and confirming she didn't see their pursuer. A glance at Taki told her what she needed to know. She wasn't thrilled she'd been pushed into a situation requiring an execution, but she understood such a foe couldn't be given a chance to get back on her feet. At range, she could have picked them all off one by one.

"Go ahead and rest, Taki-chan. I'll keep moving. It will be slow, but anyone that cannot walk will be able to stay in the sled and make progress at least. I think we ought really best do our utmost to get back to the village ASAP at this rate. Getting ambushed again could be... seriously dangerous." Deadly, she meant, but bedside manner dictated she at least try to keep her tone optimistic.

"You did exceptionally well, Taki. As expected of our Sage!" Souma spoke low under her breath as she plodded on, dragging the sled with anyone who didn't want to walk. "I do not suppose we have any idea who that was, do we?" She plodded onwards, taking the exhausted crew back to the village, one step at a time. "Ah, well. Perhaps leadership can shed some light on all this."

There wasn't much more talking after that. Just rest, quiet movement, and the relief that for now, it was all over.
