The clone’s arrival on the battlefield coincided with the conclusion of Toru's intense confrontation. As the clone sensed the Mizukage's chakra arms pummel the enemy into submission, they couldn't help but acknowledge Toru's proficiency in handling the situation. From the brief exchange that Mizuki had witnessed there was a noticeable gap between Toru’s and their own abilities. The man may have been a master of the genjutsu that ensnared him, but Toru's mettle and skill proved superior.

As the confrontation came to a halt, Toru's target was unmoving but his chakra signature let Mizuki’s clone know they were alive without sight. The man's surrender was a reasonable outcome..

"Too late for that, seems like you handled it fine," Mizuki’s clone remarked as they approached through the mist. They observed the captive cautiously but with an air of inquisitiveness. The enemy, battered and vulnerable, posed an opportunity for information. At the same time, taking the time to question him might leave them vulnerable if this capture itself was part of the plan.

"It might be wise to interrogate him," Mizuki noted before adding, "but spending time doing so while on the mission, might put us in a precarious situation if there are more of them. I'm sure you already knew that though." There was also the issue that neither of them were probably particularly skilled in interrogation. Toru was a power house and Mizuki was a little droplet that was decent at infiltration. It was largely up to Toru to decide whether it made sense to interrogate the last remaining enemy, simply capture them and take them back to the village, or end them right here.

However, even in this moment, the clone's keen senses remained active. Instead of utilizing their passive sensory abilities they would focus to extend their range and keep an eye on the camp that contained their main body. If there were any threats that happened to pop up at the camp, this would allow Mizuki to alert Toru to anything unexpected off in the distance. The lack of immediate danger allowed them a momentary respite, but the battlefield often held more secrets than met the eye.

Mizuki’s main body also remained alert, their eyes scanning the mountains and camp for any more disturbances. Their passive sensory bubble still covered all the camp and some of the remaining area, but if there were any more shinobi skilled in suppressing their chakra their eyes would be much more reliable in spotting another skilled bandit. While they waited for their clone and Toru’s business to conclude they’d simply sip at their water bottle and remain vigilant to any intruders.

Moreover, since the clone has the ability to merge with any existing water source, it is also great for reconnaissance missions. By directly touching the clone with their hand, the user can either absorb the clone back into their body or change the shape of the clone.

Unlike other clone techniques, the Water Balloon Clone doesn't disappear when hit and takes the damage to a certain degree. This makes it the perfect clone technique that makes it nearly impossible to see through. However, the clones are inhibited by the actions of the user, so if they are preoccupied with other tasks the clones will not be able to act to their full potential.

The technique itself grants them the remarkable ability to liquefy their entire body at will. In this form, they become impervious to physical attacks, rendering them immune to all physical damage. Every part of their body can transform into water, providing a wide range of applications whether it's evading an opponent's close-quarters assault, infiltrating secure locations undetected, or manipulating the water that makes up their body to alter their appearance.

Mizuki is so accustomed to their liquid form that to them it almost feels more natural than their human body; and because of this Mizuki can effortlessly control their liquid state, slipping through narrow cracks in stone or through the space beneath a door, silently infiltrating enemy structures. Additionally, if a part of their body becomes severed, it can be regenerated as long as there is an adequate water source available.

Despite its strategic advantages, there are a few drawbacks to this technique. When unconscious, Mizuki’s body reverts to a jelly-like blob, making it difficult to handle their liquid blobby body. Additionally, they are highly vulnerable to Raiton, Lightning Release, making it pertinent to avoid electrical jutsu at all costs. Furthermore, Mizuki must constantly be taking in water and remain hydrated to utilize the hijutsu effectively.

Impressive Chakra Control
Due to Mizuki’s otherwise average chakra pool, they decided that it was imperative during their training to improve their chakra control so they could maximize the efficiency of every drop of chakra flowing through their body. With meticulous precision, they learned to channel their chakra with finesse, ensuring that very little energy was wasted or misdirected. This expertise enables them to harness the full potential of their limited chakra reserves and excel across various specializations, since many of the more complex specializations have a host of jutsu that require expert chakra control.

Chakra Sensory
Fostering their chakra control naturally led to Mizuki discovering they had a talent for Chakra Sensory, opening up the possibility of sensing objects and living creatures without the aid of their five main senses. At the moment, in the heat of combat Mizuki can passively sense up to approximately 400 meters; and in the event that a shinobi leaves that range they can concentrate in order to increase that range to 2 kilometers. This sensory ability allows them to easily locate and attack shinobi that are trapped within the haze of their Kirigakure no Jutsu.

Reflexes
Due to Mizuki’s hijutsu coming with an inherent weakness to the Raiton element, one often associated with quick brutal attacks, they have worked rigorously on enhancing their reflexes to allow them to more adequately avoid lightning based attacks. Their impressive reflexes allow Mizuki to react much more quickly when a raiton jutsu is fired off by either utilizing their water balloon dispersal to avoid it entirely or in the event where that’s not possible it gives them time to quickly put her sword between themself and the attack.

Samehada earns its namesake for having properties akin to a shark's skin: it is incredibly durable and flexible due to its affinity with the Hydrification technique. As far as appearance goes, Samehada is a slightly shorter katana built with Mizuki's slender frame in mind; the curved blade is about 58cm in length and made from a simple chakra treated steel. Its tsuka has an intricately designed grip wrapped in darkened leather with a length of around 28cm. The pommel features engravings and a small gemstone. Near the base of the blade, there is a large, azure crystal that dangles from a small string attached to the kashira. The sword itself appears to be relatively unremarkable, but it is built specifically with the Hozuki's strengths and weaknesses in mind.


ABILITIES:

Hydrification Compatible [Chakra Reactive]
This blade is designed to be compatible with the Hozuki clan's Hydrification technique, allowing for part or all of the sword to be liquefied or reformed at a moment's notice. This can allow for the wielder to sneak past the guard of an unsuspecting opponent by liquefying the part of the sword that would clash with the guard and reforming it the instant that the sword is past the opposing guard. In the event that the sword is damaged, the Mōfu [Morph] technique can be utilized and water from the user's body can be utilized to repair the blade.

This sword can also be completely liquefied and stored inside a Hozuki's body, allowing them to conceal the weapon when necessary; and while the sword is stored within the user, they may pull the sword out of any area of their body. In the event that the wielder is rendered unconscious this sword melds with the jelly-like body of the Hozuki, making it incredibly difficult to separate from a captured Hozuki.

Chakra Compatible [Chakra Conductive]
In addition to being compatible with the Hozuki clan's Hydrification technique, Samehada's guard is compatible with elemental chakra in general. As a result, this sword can be utilized with compatible elemental jutsu. When wind chakra is funneled into the blade for Hien specifically, it encapsulates the sword emanating from the guard. This wind chakra reduces air resistance allowing the sword to cut more quickly and silently; but most importantly it blankets the weapon, protecting from Raiton chakra, allowing it to clash with similarly enhanced raiton weapons or to be utilized with Ittoryu: Kiretsu [One Sword Style: Crack] to cut apart raiton ninjutsu.

By Default Conductive Grants the user these effects when elemental chakra is channeled through.

Toru kept the man in his grasp, with the fact that he knew how to cast genjutsu he was careful to not stare directly into his eyes and instead paid a bit of a periphery attention towards Mizuki. Toru could interrogate, he had been part of the Oinin Butai once upon a time, after all. But that was not the point of the mission, and he had felt that taking this man down had come with too much ease. Which meant that there was something else. There had to be something else, and he exhaled lightly in thought as he contemplated their next move. It was a brief respite, they were on a mission after all. They had to keep the area safe until they were certain there were no more enemies.

Which was why Toru turned on his sense of smell, targeting his nose with chakra to get a full picture of any unfamiliar scents and anyone who might smell like *this* man in particular. Any kind of hint on what could be going on.

"Kill him." He murmured low to Mizuki, he would hold the man in place and they could kill their hostage. Currently it was too dangerous to risk this man being a decoy. They had to end his life to make sure their hands were not bound for any others that may come.

As Toru smelled Kyogi from afar, the man glanced between the boy-Kage and his escort, gaze narrowing at the lack of a response from his captor. He knew getting captured was basically a death sentence, but he had hoped to at least distract the Kirigakure Shinobi for a little bit longer while the second team made their approach. Guess not. He thought, deflating slightly as he pushed his tongue up into one of his teeth, feeling the false bottom as he bit down on the capsule, the chemical inside immediately burning his throat as he swallowed it, grinning like a mad man.

"Should’ve asked… when you had the chance… losers…” He breathed, lips foaming as the poison worked its magic, sending his body into convulsions that grew in strength until, in a spray of spittle of blood, the man died, consumed by the powerful suicide pill contained within a false tooth. Still, Toru would get a good sniff of the man, recognizing several of the scents as belonging to the men who he had left Mizuki to deal with… though there were quite a few others he would not recognize, not in the slightest.

The Houzuki’s clone would prove to be more astute than its creator, expanding its senses out with focused intent, peaking out to see if they might find any signatures within two kilometers… and found something odd. Not a signature, not as they would know it, but rather the shadow of one, as if someone (or something) was interfering with their ability to sense chakra, centered directly beneath the mining camp itself, perhaps twenty meters below the surface but rising rapidly.

The real Mizuki, however, would sense no such thing- and would therefore be wholly unaware of the multiple holes that opened up on the western edge of the camp, out of their line of sight thanks to the mist, and be just as unaware of the ten bandits who streamed out of them, moving quickly but quietly towards their objective.

Kyogi and his men, it seemed, had indeed been the distraction.

Kyogi has, unfortunately, committed suicide using a poison capsule in his tooth, robbing anyone of the right to kill him! Toru smells several unique scents on his body that he does not recognize, though given his distance from the camp and the wind, he will likely smell the new group the moment they pop out of the ground. As it says, Mizuki's clone will be able to tell there is a chakra jammer inhibiting their senses, but the REAL Mizuki will not, as they are not actively attempting to use their sensory abilities! This second, larger group is moving through the camp quickly and quietly, headed for the gem storage- it will take two rounds of running at top speed for Toru and Mizuki's clone to reach the camp OR two back-to-back uses of Shunshin. Mizuki's heart raced as they stood with Toru, watching him carefully and awaiting his judgment. The captive they held seemed to be growing increasingly desperate, and Mizuki couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss. They knew that they were on a mission and needed to keep the area secure, but their instincts were on high alert.

Toru's whispered orders confirmed their suspicions. It was a grim but necessary decision. They couldn't afford to keep the enemy alive at the moment, it would introduce too many loose variables to juggle and stray too far from the original goal of the mission. As soon as the command came that’s when shit started to get crazy, the clone had started to raise their hand to put a water bullet through the man’s brain the exact moment Kiyogi took a suicide pill. On top of that, Mizuki’s clone sensed a voided out space approaching the camp from underground and their original body was not reacting to the underground movement.

The clone's eyes widened a bit in realization as they processed the information, and relayed it to Toru moments before the crew pierced the surface. "More enemies west side of camp, chakra jamming. My main body is unaware.” This was the moment they had been dreading – the real threat was closing in on them, and the man they had captured was just a distraction. The original body had stayed back but was woefully unprepared for the enemy to avoid both their chakra sensory abilities and visual senses.

The clone that was with Toru didn’t await any orders and immediately turned and took two steps towards their main body before their body shifted into bubbles that traveled much faster than their physical body could ever hope to achieve. Once the clone had closed the distance to the edge of camp on the northern side they’d reform and shout information to their main body, a small downside of the water balloon clone compared to the shadow clone, their shout of instructions to their main body would come out just as the enemy pierced through the dirt, "WEST SIDE, 75 METERS, CHAKRA JAMMING!” This would definitely alert the bandits that the enemy was aware of their plan and position, but it would also give Mizuki’s main body the information they’d need to jump into action.

Until their clone shouted the information, Mizuki had simply been scanning the insides of the camp, but once they had that small tidbit of information shouted to them they realized that they had made a small miscalculation with the lingering mist covering the ground. An enemy group could easily tunnel into the camp if they had the right set of skills and with a target that had this high of a value it only made sense that the enemy would bring every tool imaginable to get away with a score.

In order to prevent this Mizuki’s main body would simply follow the instructions their clone had given and use the exact same tactic, they’d take two steps before transforming into bubbles and close the distance between them and the hole. They had been given information too late to go on the attack, but it would at least allow them time to scramble into a position between the bandits and their goal. Once they were in position they’d transform back into their human body in an instant and pull Samehada from their sheath once more. They would act as the primary defense until Toru could rejoin them.

Mizuki would have preferred to notice them in advance, but this was the best they could do given the current situation. The mist was still a little dense for them to fight super effectively inside of since they normally used their chakra sensory to fight in the mist, and that would continue to be the case unless the jamming situation changed once they got closer.

Moving at fast speeds while initiating the jutsu causes the wave of water the Hozuki would have become to break off into bubble shape, aided of course by the users chakra control manipulating their own water body. Because of this the bubbles are able to move much faster then the user would have as the user is still using his momentum from the initial first step as well as chakra control to move with a much lighter body causing them to move much faster with a higher degree of maneuverability. Also because the user is in complete control of their water body there is no risk of the bubbles dispersing and if one were to pop it would just turn to water that the Hozuki could then reabsorb.

Apparently Mizuki did not have to kill the man in front of them, he would be killing himself. Which was all the better for Toru since it was less energy waste for them.

Unlike chakra sensory Toru did not need to send out his chakra, he just needed to focus chakra to his nose and when something unfamiliar - but familiar from Kyogi appeared - his suspicions spiked. It was just in time for the clone to announce that there were enemies approaching. Toru's cloak dropped the now deceased Kyogi and moved in with a speed that could only belong to a jinchuuriki. There was no time to delay. Mizuki would get there when Mizuki got there, for now? He needed to act.

His chakra grew and descended over the boy in a sinewy wrap of black and red as he turned away from the cloak and into the beginning markers of a monster. And he dashed forward as the clone went to alert Mizuki.

The truth of the matter was Toru left a blitz behind him, a rift of earth as he ran towards the goal. And at the first sign of enemies he would intercept them, and stomp, to disorient whoever he could get to see his stomp and approach as he approached them at his impressive running pace. But there would be multiples of him for any who heard his whistle and the enemy that was leading would get the brunt of Toru's shell attack as the boy would tuck and roll like a tank into the enemy group.

After stamping one's foot, the user will cast a Genjutsu upon their opponent where it will appear as if they can move at speeds that match those who use the Eight Gates. Countless after images will begin to move about them, the user seemingly moving about in such a fashion that the opponents eyes simply cannot keep up, when in truth the user is completely unseen. It can be seen through by those who use Doujutsu.

The ten bandits split into two teams almost the instant they cleared the underground, five heading further into the camp towards the gem storage while the others moved off towards Mizuki, flying through the mist in utter silence. The Houzuki would find their chakra sensory abilities less useful than they would have liked; the closer they got to the source, the more they could make out, but even at fifty meters the information was… muffled, as if they were sensing everything through a fog. Still, they’d get a general bead on the group coming towards them- and might have a chance to get the drop on them, if they were careful.

As for Toru, the boy-Kage’s transformation came quickly, enhancing his speed and strength well beyond what he was normally capable of, though the thick mist that still clung to the camp made his use of Genjutsu somewhat fruitless; no one saw his foot stamp into the ground, though everyone certainly heard it, particularly those on the team he had chosen to attack.

The lead man of the first group formed three hand seals the moment their opponent made his presence known, slamming his left hand to the ground as Toru came rolling in- and was meant by an invisible force that matched his charge, attempting to blow him back but managing only to hold him still, the power of his Bijuu-enhanced charge to much to overcome, but not enough to overpower the seal he had used.

Two of the men behind the lead followed his example, immediately forming seals of their own- the one to the left of Toru formed one seal, Raiton chakra surging from his hand as he sent a stream of electricity at the boy-Kage, the energy taking the shape of a wolf as it charged at Toru, crackling with power. The other followed it up a second later with an explosion of white-hot flames that surged around and over Toru, attempting to contain him in a burning prison while the seal halted his momentum and the lightning wolf shocked him. And all the while, the two ninja behind these three stood, preparing in the mist in case their companions' attacks didn’t work.

Ok, so a fair bit happens here. Toru, using his Bijuu cloak, manages to cross the distance to the camp in a single round (good on you!), but due to the thick mist his Genjutsu doesn't land as intended. His rolling tank-ball attack is block by a seal, and he is immediately attacked from the side by a Lightning Wolf and a flaming sphere that, if they hit, will stun him for one round and imprison him within a very hot ball of fire. Mizuki makes their way into the mist, getting a rough bead on the enemy's location, but can't quite pin them down through the jamming just yet (they're coming towards where you were at the start of your last post). You'll have to get closer if you want to sense more.

[Hōzuki Mizuki]

Mizuki felt their heart pounding in their chest as they continued to focus on their surroundings, their chakra sensory abilities compromised by the strange interference. The approaching bandits were getting closer, and it was evident that they were being cautious, moving silently through the thick mist.

In the current situation, Mizuki couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The muffled information made it difficult to assess each enemy’s exact position, but they knew the bandits were coming and they knew which direction they were coming from.

As the bandits closed in, Mizuki would move closer before deciding to take action at a range of what they believed to be 15-20 meters away. If this distance helped their sensory, they'd use the additional information to inform their aim. With a simple and fluid motion, their non-dominant hand took the shape of a gun and Mizuki utilized their water gun jutsu. It was a technique requiring a bit of precision to be incredibly useful, which made it less than an ideal technique in the current situation with the shroud of mist.

Mizuki aimed the bullets in the enemy’s general direction and released three high-pressured bullets of water at the group approaching their position. The water projectiles cut through the mist at incredible speeds as they traveled towards the approaching enemy. Mizuki's intent was to hopefully strike an enemy or two since they were likely just as blind; and even if none of the shots hit a vital spot, the sheer power behind the water bullets would likely cripple a limb or take someone out of the fight if it hit center mass.

Once they let the shots out they’d finally grip the hilt of their sword and prepare for the enemy. Whenever they closed the distance Mizuki would resort to their sword to attack once they were in close range. Mizuki remained as vigilant as they could, knowing that their mission had taken a perilous turn. Their determination and quick thinking were crucial in this moment, and they were ready to adapt to whatever challenges lay ahead.

Mizuki's bubble clone, on the other hand, made simple, yet swift movements towards the gem storage of the mining camp, gliding through the mist with grace and precision. Their movements were quiet compared to the explosions and they were almost ethereal as they maintained their course. It was a crucial task that the clone was being assigned – to safeguard the valuable gems within the storage.

Their main body and Toru held the front lines, dealing with the approaching bandits, but Mizuki knew the importance of covering all angles. They couldn't afford to underestimate the opposition, and the security of the gems was paramount to the success of their mission.

The bubble clone, like a shadow clone, required Mizuki’s focus to act. The lull of the current situation while the enemy approached was the perfect time to move their clone into a more strategic position. In fact, it was the main reason Mizuki’s main body wasn’t rushing into the enemy at the current moment.

DESCRIPTION:

A clone that is created by using the Hydrification Hijutsu of the Hozuki to alter the user's own cells into water. The clones can be as simple in function as a vaguely human shaped bubble for use in the Body Replacement Technique or a completely mobile and sentient clone capable of utilizing any jutsu in the users repertoire. the clones themselves have the ability to travel far from the user and are able to communicate with the original.

Moreover, since the clone has the ability to merge with any existing water source, it is also great for reconnaissance missions. By directly touching the clone with their hand, the user can either absorb the clone back into their body or change the shape of the clone.

Unlike other clone techniques, the Water Balloon Clone doesn't disappear when hit and takes the damage to a certain degree. This makes it the perfect clone technique that makes it nearly impossible to see through. However, the clones are inhibited by the actions of the user, so if they are preoccupied with other tasks the clones will not be able to act to their full potential.



Hydrification
The Hydrification technique is a core technique in Mizuki’s arsenal that they learned from his mother at a young age. The technique itself grants them the remarkable ability to liquefy their entire body at will. In this form, they become impervious to physical attacks, rendering them immune to all physical damage. Every part of their body can transform into water, providing a wide range of applications whether it's evading an opponent's close-quarters assault, infiltrating secure locations undetected, or manipulating the water that makes up their body to alter their appearance.

Mizuki is so accustomed to their liquid form that to them it almost feels more natural than their human body; and because of this Mizuki can effortlessly control their liquid state, slipping through narrow cracks in stone or through the space beneath a door, silently infiltrating enemy structures. Additionally, if a part of their body becomes severed, it can be regenerated as long as there is an adequate water source available.

Despite its strategic advantages, there are a few drawbacks to this technique. When unconscious, Mizuki’s body reverts to a jelly-like blob, making it difficult to handle their liquid blobby body. Additionally, they are highly vulnerable to Raiton, Lightning Release, making it pertinent to avoid electrical jutsu at all costs. Furthermore, Mizuki must constantly be taking in water and remain hydrated to utilize the hijutsu effectively.

Impressive Chakra Control
Due to Mizuki’s otherwise average chakra pool, they decided that it was imperative during their training to improve their chakra control so they could maximize the efficiency of every drop of chakra flowing through their body. With meticulous precision, they learned to channel their chakra with finesse, ensuring that very little energy was wasted or misdirected. This expertise enables them to harness the full potential of their limited chakra reserves and excel across various specializations, since many of the more complex specializations have a host of jutsu that require expert chakra control.

Chakra Sensory
Fostering their chakra control naturally led to Mizuki discovering they had a talent for Chakra Sensory, opening up the possibility of sensing objects and living creatures without the aid of their five main senses. At the moment, in the heat of combat Mizuki can passively sense up to approximately 400 meters; and in the event that a shinobi leaves that range they can concentrate in order to increase that range to 2 kilometers. This sensory ability allows them to easily locate and attack shinobi that are trapped within the haze of their Kirigakure no Jutsu.

Reflexes
Due to Mizuki’s hijutsu coming with an inherent weakness to the Raiton element, one often associated with quick brutal attacks, they have worked rigorously on enhancing their reflexes to allow them to more adequately avoid lightning based attacks. Their impressive reflexes allow Mizuki to react much more quickly when a raiton jutsu is fired off by either utilizing their water balloon dispersal to avoid it entirely or in the event where that’s not possible it gives them time to quickly put her sword between themself and the attack.

DESCRIPTION:

Samehada earns its namesake for having properties akin to a shark's skin: it is incredibly durable and flexible due to its affinity with the Hydrification technique. As far as appearance goes, Samehada is a slightly shorter katana built with Mizuki's slender frame in mind; the curved blade is about 58cm in length and made from a simple chakra treated steel. Its tsuka has an intricately designed grip wrapped in darkened leather with a length of around 28cm. The pommel features engravings and a small gemstone. Near the base of the blade, there is a large, azure crystal that dangles from a small string attached to the kashira. The sword itself appears to be relatively unremarkable, but it is built specifically with the Hozuki's strengths and weaknesses in mind.


ABILITIES:

Hydrification Compatible [Chakra Reactive]
This blade is designed to be compatible with the Hozuki clan's Hydrification technique, allowing for part or all of the sword to be liquefied or reformed at a moment's notice. This can allow for the wielder to sneak past the guard of an unsuspecting opponent by liquefying the part of the sword that would clash with the guard and reforming it the instant that the sword is past the opposing guard. In the event that the sword is damaged, the Mōfu [Morph] technique can be utilized and water from the user's body can be utilized to repair the blade.

This sword can also be completely liquefied and stored inside a Hozuki's body, allowing them to conceal the weapon when necessary; and while the sword is stored within the user, they may pull the sword out of any area of their body. In the event that the wielder is rendered unconscious this sword melds with the jelly-like body of the Hozuki, making it incredibly difficult to separate from a captured Hozuki.

Chakra Compatible [Chakra Conductive]
In addition to being compatible with the Hozuki clan's Hydrification technique, Samehada's guard is compatible with elemental chakra in general. As a result, this sword can be utilized with compatible elemental jutsu. When wind chakra is funneled into the blade for Hien specifically, it encapsulates the sword emanating from the guard. This wind chakra reduces air resistance allowing the sword to cut more quickly and silently; but most importantly it blankets the weapon, protecting from Raiton chakra, allowing it to clash with similarly enhanced raiton weapons or to be utilized with Ittoryu: Kiretsu [One Sword Style: Crack] to cut apart raiton ninjutsu.

By Default Conductive Grants the user these effects when elemental chakra is channeled through.

Katon – The metal becomes warmer to the touch, not devastating effects but painful.
Fūton – Allows more buoyancy and lightness to be swifter in small degrees.
Suiton – Flexible and absorbs a minuscule amount of impact.

Toru's roll was met with some pushback and the boy felt that quickly, finding a good point for his feet to meet the ground he would almost stop the rotation of the roll, and just in time too as the lightning dog and fire wall were being created he took zero time to wait and instead used that momentum of his feet hitting the ground to jump backwards leaving a small crater in the ground where he bounded from to put him a decent distance away from the grouping. He could smell them, not see them but smell them. It was enough for him to lock onto their locations. Though simultaneously leaving them in the mist and silence

Using the mist to keep his own presence hidden he dispersed his chakra into the mist, adding another layer to it. Particularly one that would cause for his opponents to utilize more chakra with each technique that they would use than was normally necessary. It was a technique meant to make enemies burn through chakra faster than they themselves were aware of. Once the layer was placed he inhaled deeply focusing chakra outward to create five spheres of powerful condensed water and he focused hard to send them five separate ways to ensure that they ripped through the mist and hit five different targets hard and fast. With the ability to break through stone, he hoped that it would do enough work to put out his enemies, or at least the majority.

DESCRIPTION:
Using the the mist jutsu as a base the user of this jutsu will disperse a mist like rain into a specific area, the mist like rain is not as thick as regular mist and can be seen through by those with above average visual ability. However this jutsu is not meant to impair vision as it is made to disrupt chara of those within the jutsu's influence this makes it harder for any chakra that is not the same as the users chakra signature to become weakened once it has become exposed. This causes jutsu to fail unless the user uses much more chakra then they usually do in order to counteract the disruption (making jutsu that have a Low chakra usage cost require a medium chakra usage cost in order to succeed). Also because the jutsu is mist and rain as well as the fact that it disrupts chakra fire jutsu does not work while this jutsu is active. Also attempting to successfully use a jutsu that already has a Very High chakra cost could be very dangerous and potentially fatal.

DESCRIPTION:
With this suiton technique, the shinobi cast several condensed spheres of suiton around their body. Each sphere of suiton chakra is highly condensed and powerful, with the ability to cut through rock and as strong as metal. The shinobi can control these spheres of suiton in a certain direction to charge an attack of powerful suiton. They can cause smash boulders, create huge holes on the ground, rock and ultimately if attacked directly can turn out quiet devastating. The shinobi can create as many of these spheres as their chakra can take at once, however the standard is around five powerful orbs - more will lead to a less powerful attack per orb, while less while create a more powerful sphere. These orbs travel at high speeds and are a powerful hit, making it possibly a deadly technique if hit with all five consecutively.

"He dodged!” The man up front yelled, leaping back as the group condensed into a small cluster, the man in the middle slamming his hands into the ground as he utilized his prepared technique, gritting his teeth as Toru’s mist forced him to exert more energy than normal. Instantly, the earth shifted around the squad in a five meter circle upwards about twenty meters, changing the elevation of the ground so that the attacks would slam, not into the bandits, but the raised earth in front of them instead, which blew several holes in the ground. All around them the ground shifted, the gem storage depot sinking down into a twenty meter hole, while the rest of the terrain for nearly two hundred meters out became more craggy and jagged, with random dips and spikes that never exceeded ten meters.

As this happened, the second man in the back who had also prepared a technique let it loose, using the direction of the water bullets and their increased elevation to locate the rough direction of their foe as he exhaled, the Fuuton chakra he had kneaded in his gut blasting out in a series of intense, wave like blades that swarmed towards the boy-Kage. The effort needed to perform these jutsu was more than both men knew it should have taken and, while both had chakra to spare, they knew something wasn’t right, so once the second man’s jutsu finished he made a single gesture to the group, who immediately began to form hand seals.

After seven rapid seals the front man whipped out a large piece of paper, not unlike a blank explosive note, funneling his chakra into the paper and forming the Ocean Sealing Method, which instantly began to absorb the Mist Rain and Hidden Mist Jutsus in a ten meter radius around him, though not without a cost, as he was forced to burn the brunt of his chakra to seal away the techniques. Still, the remaining trio didn’t take this moment for granted, the man on the Right Front spewing a massive torrent of water from his gullet down towards the altered landscape. At the same instant, the one on the Front Left finished his seals, spewing six disks of Ration that he shot towards their foe, their sizzling energy crackling as they charged towards the boy kage.

As for Mizuki, their efforts to locate the second enemy group proved to be easier the closer they got; by the time they were within twenty five meters, it was as if their senses weren’t even being jammed at all, allowing the Houzuki to precisely place their Water Bullets from the safety of the mist. Unfortunately, however, Toru’s Mist Rain proved to be rather wide ranging in its effect, and just as the Tokubetsu Jounin pulled the proverbial trigger on their jutsu, the mist shifted, condensing into a light rain that revealed not only their position, but interfered with their attack as well.

Face to face with their foe, the enemy squad scatters, splitting up into three distinct groups that circle around Mizuki; one group of two to the Houzuki’s left, which begin to form hand seals, preparing techniques, another group of two to their right, which seems to be doing the same, and a lone man in front of the Tokubetsu Jounin. The lone man is tall, with long, wiry limbs, and as his comrades prepare their techniques he moves forward, pulling a pair of kunai from somewhere in his sleeves as he rushes in, slashing at Mizuki in a wild flurry of strikes from every conceivable angle…

Only for the terrain to shift around them all, the ground beneath Mizuki and their opponent sinking down while the terrain around them rose, creating a funnel of sorts that both fighters would have to get out of, if they wanted to.

The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered or raised to is also up to the user. With precise timing, this technique can be used to evade incoming attacks, as well as to endanger opponents by moving them into the path of an oncoming attack reducing their reaction time as well as knocking them off balance, making it even harder to avoid the attack. Other than being moved below or above ground — relative to the surrounding surface — the terrain is not altered as plant life and people retain their same positions when this technique is used.

[Hōzuki Mizuki]

Mizuki's situation was rapidly changing. As they focused on the second group of enemies, their Water Bullets took aim with precision, ready to strike. However, Toru's Mist Rain interfered with their attack, revealing their position and creating a challenging scenario. Being mildly familiar with the technique Mizuki would be prepared to spend the additional chakra to utilize their jutsu.

The enemy squad quickly adapted to the situation, splitting into three distinct groups, effectively surrounding Mizuki. Two groups, one to their left and one to their right, began to form hand seals, preparing for techniques. Meanwhile, a lone, wiry man stood directly in front of Mizuki, wielding kunai and launching into a frenzied assault. The enemy had been incredibly fond of sacrificing their own allies, so engaging the man at the bottom of the funnel in a 1v1 would likely result in Mizuki getting shot by powerful jutsu from all sides, and it was probably just stupid.

Mizuki had no reason to entertain their plan of attack. With the terrain shifting around them, they knew they had to act swiftly, as doton techniques could easily entrap the Hozuki and put them in a position that would make jutsu difficult to evade. They would quickly jump with all their might and transform into a cascade of bubbles, gracefully evading the flurry of kunai strikes from their opponent. Their bubble form allowed them to move quickly, utilizing the momentum of their jump to make it to the top of the terrain while simultaneously avoiding engaging the enemy in melee.

They quickly reformed at the top of the funneled terrain created by the Doton technique and behind the two enemies positioned closer towards their bubble clone. Mizuki wasted no time, and several spikes of water erupted from their body as soon as they physically reformed. The spikes were directed towards the vitals of the two enemies they were behind. The sharp and pressurized water spikes shot towards their targets with deadly intent, seeking to disrupt the enemy formation and create an opening for Mizuki to defend themselves and counterattack. Even if the men that had originally been on Mizuki’s left still fired their attacks, Mizuki intentionally used their allies as cover and was positioned in such a manner to see their attacks.

The battle had taken a chaotic turn, and luckily, their recent training had honed their combat instincts. The situation they were in was incredibly complicated, with the mist fading and the shifting terrain. Mizuki's primary objective was to outmaneuver their enemy and avoid fighting on the enemy's terms, especially avoiding getting trapped in the Doton jutsu, which could have made things impossibly harder.

Mizuki's bubble clone is hidden and remained idle near the gem storage. The clone was intentionally positioned, it not only acts as a potential defense for the gem storage but it would also serve as a potential object for the substitution technique should either of the enemies on the other side of the raised terrain decided to shoot powerful lightning techniques towards Mizuki’s main body.

DESCRIPTION:

A clone that is created by using the Hydrification Hijutsu of the Hozuki to alter the user's own cells into water. The clones can be as simple in function as a vaguely human shaped bubble for use in the Body Replacement Technique or a completely mobile and sentient clone capable of utilizing any jutsu in the users repertoire. the clones themselves have the ability to travel far from the user and are able to communicate with the original.

Moreover, since the clone has the ability to merge with any existing water source, it is also great for reconnaissance missions. By directly touching the clone with their hand, the user can either absorb the clone back into their body or change the shape of the clone.

Unlike other clone techniques, the Water Balloon Clone doesn't disappear when hit and takes the damage to a certain degree. This makes it the perfect clone technique that makes it nearly impossible to see through. However, the clones are inhibited by the actions of the user, so if they are preoccupied with other tasks the clones will not be able to act to their full potential.

After using the Hydrification Technique to turn their body to water, the user can split their water form into multiple bubbles. This happens almost instantly making it seem as if the user has transformed directly into bubbles, this jutsu can be used defensively to escape damage. as well as supplementary to travel as the bubbles move at incredible speeds.

Moving at fast speeds while initiating the jutsu causes the wave of water the Hozuki would have become to break off into bubble shape, aided of course by the users chakra control manipulating their own water body. Because of this the bubbles are able to move much faster then the user would have as the user is still using his momentum from the initial first step as well as chakra control to move with a much lighter body causing them to move much faster with a higher degree of maneuverability. Also because the user is in complete control of their water body there is no risk of the bubbles dispersing and if one were to pop it would just turn to water that the Hozuki could then reabsorb.

DESCRIPTION:

Using the Hydrification technique the user can instantly create razor sharp spikes that protrude from their body. This technique offers much protection against physically attacking opponents. While it can pierce flesh tissue and muscle it cannot pierce through harder materials such as bone. The user can extend and retract these spikes at their will, as long as they have the water to do so.

Hydrification
The Hydrification technique is a core technique in Mizuki’s arsenal that they learned from his mother at a young age. The technique itself grants them the remarkable ability to liquefy their entire body at will. In this form, they become impervious to physical attacks, rendering them immune to all physical damage. Every part of their body can transform into water, providing a wide range of applications whether it's evading an opponent's close-quarters assault, infiltrating secure locations undetected, or manipulating the water that makes up their body to alter their appearance.

Mizuki is so accustomed to their liquid form that to them it almost feels more natural than their human body; and because of this Mizuki can effortlessly control their liquid state, slipping through narrow cracks in stone or through the space beneath a door, silently infiltrating enemy structures. Additionally, if a part of their body becomes severed, it can be regenerated as long as there is an adequate water source available.

Despite its strategic advantages, there are a few drawbacks to this technique. When unconscious, Mizuki’s body reverts to a jelly-like blob, making it difficult to handle their liquid blobby body. Additionally, they are highly vulnerable to Raiton, Lightning Release, making it pertinent to avoid electrical jutsu at all costs. Furthermore, Mizuki must constantly be taking in water and remain hydrated to utilize the hijutsu effectively.

Impressive Chakra Control
Due to Mizuki’s otherwise average chakra pool, they decided that it was imperative during their training to improve their chakra control so they could maximize the efficiency of every drop of chakra flowing through their body. With meticulous precision, they learned to channel their chakra with finesse, ensuring that very little energy was wasted or misdirected. This expertise enables them to harness the full potential of their limited chakra reserves and excel across various specializations, since many of the more complex specializations have a host of jutsu that require expert chakra control.

Chakra Sensory
Fostering their chakra control naturally led to Mizuki discovering they had a talent for Chakra Sensory, opening up the possibility of sensing objects and living creatures without the aid of their five main senses. At the moment, in the heat of combat Mizuki can passively sense up to approximately 400 meters; and in the event that a shinobi leaves that range they can concentrate in order to increase that range to 2 kilometers. This sensory ability allows them to easily locate and attack shinobi that are trapped within the haze of their Kirigakure no Jutsu.

Reflexes
Due to Mizuki’s hijutsu coming with an inherent weakness to the Raiton element, one often associated with quick brutal attacks, they have worked rigorously on enhancing their reflexes to allow them to more adequately avoid lightning based attacks. Their impressive reflexes allow Mizuki to react much more quickly when a raiton jutsu is fired off by either utilizing their water balloon dispersal to avoid it entirely or in the event where that’s not possible it gives them time to quickly put her sword between themself and the attack.

DESCRIPTION:

Samehada earns its namesake for having properties akin to a shark's skin: it is incredibly durable and flexible due to its affinity with the Hydrification technique. As far as appearance goes, Samehada is a slightly shorter katana built with Mizuki's slender frame in mind; the curved blade is about 58cm in length and made from a simple chakra treated steel. Its tsuka has an intricately designed grip wrapped in darkened leather with a length of around 28cm. The pommel features engravings and a small gemstone. Near the base of the blade, there is a large, azure crystal that dangles from a small string attached to the kashira. The sword itself appears to be relatively unremarkable, but it is built specifically with the Hozuki's strengths and weaknesses in mind.


ABILITIES:

Hydrification Compatible [Chakra Reactive]
This blade is designed to be compatible with the Hozuki clan's Hydrification technique, allowing for part or all of the sword to be liquefied or reformed at a moment's notice. This can allow for the wielder to sneak past the guard of an unsuspecting opponent by liquefying the part of the sword that would clash with the guard and reforming it the instant that the sword is past the opposing guard. In the event that the sword is damaged, the Mōfu [Morph] technique can be utilized and water from the user's body can be utilized to repair the blade.

This sword can also be completely liquefied and stored inside a Hozuki's body, allowing them to conceal the weapon when necessary; and while the sword is stored within the user, they may pull the sword out of any area of their body. In the event that the wielder is rendered unconscious this sword melds with the jelly-like body of the Hozuki, making it incredibly difficult to separate from a captured Hozuki.

Chakra Compatible [Chakra Conductive]
In addition to being compatible with the Hozuki clan's Hydrification technique, Samehada's guard is compatible with elemental chakra in general. As a result, this sword can be utilized with compatible elemental jutsu. When wind chakra is funneled into the blade for Hien specifically, it encapsulates the sword emanating from the guard. This wind chakra reduces air resistance allowing the sword to cut more quickly and silently; but most importantly it blankets the weapon, protecting from Raiton chakra, allowing it to clash with similarly enhanced raiton weapons or to be utilized with Ittoryu: Kiretsu [One Sword Style: Crack] to cut apart raiton ninjutsu.

By Default Conductive Grants the user these effects when elemental chakra is channeled through.

Katon – The metal becomes warmer to the touch, not devastating effects but painful.
Fūton – Allows more buoyancy and lightness to be swifter in small degrees.
Suiton – Flexible and absorbs a minuscule amount of impact.
Raiton – A slight enhancement to sharp edges as well as developing some static.
Doton – Small increase in weight and durability.

There was a lot happening, but Toru maintained a cool demeanor about all of this. The wind chakra that came was not without sound and visual cue so the very moment he saw the mist ahead of him become disturbed he moved, managing to just narrowly avoid the fuuton though not without getting nicked along the way. Toru could feel its concussive force, but moving around the X's - which were so cleanly disturbing the mist - he was able to move just enough out of the way.

He decided not to wait, however, and instead using his sense of smell determined that his foes were further up now. It had been hard to hear or focus on it in the din of battle, but they must have leveraged themselves upwards somehow.

They attacked him into the mist, but Toru placed a decoy bunshin clone into the area, whilst he himself flickered over to the base of the 20 meter raised platform that they had created. Coming around behind, his visibility improving as the sealing would take away some of the mist in the area, he charged up the stone. Though his charge was careful, with intent to make sure that he was not seen.

With the Bunshin bouncing around and away from their Raiton and Suiton attacks, it was possible that they were distracted.

Once the teen was high enough he would equip his sword and within proper range he would perform a technique that would devastate all five of his opponents if caught in said range with about 100 thrusts in only a matter of seconds.

DESCRIPTION:
A fairly simple, yet deadly technique. By flowing chakra to the muscles in their arms the user is temporarily capable of stabbing their weapons with incredible speed, capable of performing roughly a hundred thrusts in just a few seconds. While this can prove deadly to anyone caught within the range of their weapon, it is also limited by that range. Additionally while the user's striking speed is increased, that is the only speed increased. Lastly this technique can only be utilized four times per engagement before the user begins to destroy the muscles in their arm(s).

It didn’t take long for the first group to realize something was amiss. Though they shouldn’t be able to fully see him in the swirling mists, the quintet of robbers knew their counter offensive had missed, judging rightly that the lack of dying sounds to be a rather clear indication that their foe, whoever he was, had avoided their leader’s barrage of wind blades. It wasn’t until Toru’s Bunshin sprang out of the mist, leaping out of the way of their follow up attacks, that they knew their gut feeling was right- but that didn’t dissuade them.

Forming hand seals as their target dodged in and out of the mist, the three men up front and the one in the middle prepared to bombard him once more, only for the man in the back to yell, his body turning towards the boy-Kage as he picked up on what the others had not- that for all the speed at which their foe had been moving, he had not disturbed even a single drop of mist. Without time to think, the man threw himself in front of the barrage of thrusts from their foe, relying on his innate strength and the coiling and uncoiling of his muscles to take the brunt of the stabs.

It wasn’t perfect, and he took a great deal of damage, but Toru’s strikes didn’t get through- and now, with their foe open, the men behind him unleashed a combination of jutsu that would not only incinerate their enemy if it hit, but their ally as well. Because there was no honor among thieves- and the smaller the crew that walked away, the bigger the cut.

As for the group fighting Mizuki, the Houzuki would find that their attempt at escaping the pit they had been trapped in was far less safe an idea then they had originally planned, as the moment they dispersed into bubbles one of the four foes that ringed the pit threw his hands up, Raiton chakra crackling from his fingertips as he utilized his prepared jutsu, creating a torrent of potent electricity that surged in the Tokubetsu Jounin’s path, engulfing them in a storm of Raiton energy as they tried to escape.

It wasn’t enough to kill them though, and should they continue on with their course of action, they would make it to the lip of the pit, injured but out of sight and, perhaps, capable of finding a way to outmaneuver their foe.

Searing flames is a specialty move created by Ichiro Hagisaki himself. It was when he was but a Chuunin that he created this technique in hopes to win the exam. This technique originally used twenty hand-seals, but as he practiced it he finally perfected it. Whilst he musters the seals needed, his immediate area heats up exponentially; enough to cause first degree burns. This is within' five meters around Ichiro. Inside the man's lungs is compressed gas as he inhales, gathering an exponential amount and soon releasing it from his lips in a hefty release. Using just a bit of Katon applied, it amplifies instantaneously. What originally seemed like a belch of a two foot fire turned into one unimaginable; thirty meters wide. The searing flames pour from his mouth in a spray from side-to-side. A giant arc of flames. Anything making contact will instantly have the heat to cause third degree burns against it. This is said to be the pinnacle of Ichiro's Katon abilities. Those who are not able to protect themselves, can and will receive burns that are incredibly difficult to heal. That is simply if they live through the chance of being incinerated.

Mizuki's keen senses zeroed in on the flicker of electricity emanating from the adversary perched atop the funnel. Reacting with swift intuition, they chose to conclude the bubble jutsu prematurely. Transforming back into their humanoid form, Mizuki executed a graceful descent, landing on the wall just below its edge. The seamless transition was facilitated by the tree climbing jutsu, deftly avoiding the imminent surge of electricity poised to strike over the funnel's lip.

Navigating skillfully beneath the impending electrical assault, Mizuki wasted no time. Swiftly forming the requisite five hand seals, they readied the substitution technique. Thankfully, as a strategic move earlier they had placed their bubble clone a little under 10 meters away. Given the precarious situation with three prepared jutsu all being aimed at them, having an escape plan became paramount – a proverbial "get out of jail free card."

As the hand seals concluded and the Raiton jutsu streaked overhead, Mizuki utilized the substitution technique. In a nimble hop, they ascended the wall, positioning themselves next to the individual who had initiated the electric wave. Anticipating the possibility of other enemies preparing Area of Effect jutsu, Mizuki aimed to exploit the enemy's proximity. Considering the earlier group's willingness to sacrifice their own, Mizuki hoped to catch this new adversary in their own technique, turning the tide in their favor.

Moreover, since the clone has the ability to merge with any existing water source, it is also great for reconnaissance missions. By directly touching the clone with their hand, the user can either absorb the clone back into their body or change the shape of the clone.

Unlike other clone techniques, the Water Balloon Clone doesn't disappear when hit and takes the damage to a certain degree. This makes it the perfect clone technique that makes it nearly impossible to see through. However, the clones are inhibited by the actions of the user, so if they are preoccupied with other tasks the clones will not be able to act to their full potential.

DESCRIPTION:

After performing the necessary hand seals (one post prior to the technique's use) and locating a nearby object within a 10 meter radius (typically a log or something of similar size to their body.), the user switches places with the said object just before an attack lands, creating an optical illusion. During the small interval where they have left their opponent surprised, they may take the time to attack or flee.

Hydrification
The Hydrification technique is a core technique in Mizuki’s arsenal that they learned from his mother at a young age. The technique itself grants them the remarkable ability to liquefy their entire body at will. In this form, they become impervious to physical attacks, rendering them immune to all physical damage. Every part of their body can transform into water, providing a wide range of applications whether it's evading an opponent's close-quarters assault, infiltrating secure locations undetected, or manipulating the water that makes up their body to alter their appearance.

Mizuki is so accustomed to their liquid form that to them it almost feels more natural than their human body; and because of this Mizuki can effortlessly control their liquid state, slipping through narrow cracks in stone or through the space beneath a door, silently infiltrating enemy structures. Additionally, if a part of their body becomes severed, it can be regenerated as long as there is an adequate water source available.

Despite its strategic advantages, there are a few drawbacks to this technique. When unconscious, Mizuki’s body reverts to a jelly-like blob, making it difficult to handle their liquid blobby body. Additionally, they are highly vulnerable to Raiton, Lightning Release, making it pertinent to avoid electrical jutsu at all costs. Furthermore, Mizuki must constantly be taking in water and remain hydrated to utilize the hijutsu effectively.

Impressive Chakra Control
Due to Mizuki’s otherwise average chakra pool, they decided that it was imperative during their training to improve their chakra control so they could maximize the efficiency of every drop of chakra flowing through their body. With meticulous precision, they learned to channel their chakra with finesse, ensuring that very little energy was wasted or misdirected. This expertise enables them to harness the full potential of their limited chakra reserves and excel across various specializations, since many of the more complex specializations have a host of jutsu that require expert chakra control.

Chakra Sensory
Fostering their chakra control naturally led to Mizuki discovering they had a talent for Chakra Sensory, opening up the possibility of sensing objects and living creatures without the aid of their five main senses. At the moment, in the heat of combat Mizuki can passively sense up to approximately 400 meters; and in the event that a shinobi leaves that range they can concentrate in order to increase that range to 2 kilometers. This sensory ability allows them to easily locate and attack shinobi that are trapped within the haze of their Kirigakure no Jutsu.

Reflexes
Due to Mizuki’s hijutsu coming with an inherent weakness to the Raiton element, one often associated with quick brutal attacks, they have worked rigorously on enhancing their reflexes to allow them to more adequately avoid lightning based attacks. Their impressive reflexes allow Mizuki to react much more quickly when a raiton jutsu is fired off by either utilizing their water balloon dispersal to avoid it entirely or in the event where that’s not possible it gives them time to quickly put her sword between themself and the attack.

DESCRIPTION:

Samehada earns its namesake for having properties akin to a shark's skin: it is incredibly durable and flexible due to its affinity with the Hydrification technique. As far as appearance goes, Samehada is a slightly shorter katana built with Mizuki's slender frame in mind; the curved blade is about 58cm in length and made from a simple chakra treated steel. Its tsuka has an intricately designed grip wrapped in darkened leather with a length of around 28cm. The pommel features engravings and a small gemstone. Near the base of the blade, there is a large, azure crystal that dangles from a small string attached to the kashira. The sword itself appears to be relatively unremarkable, but it is built specifically with the Hozuki's strengths and weaknesses in mind.


ABILITIES:

Hydrification Compatible [Chakra Reactive]
This blade is designed to be compatible with the Hozuki clan's Hydrification technique, allowing for part or all of the sword to be liquefied or reformed at a moment's notice. This can allow for the wielder to sneak past the guard of an unsuspecting opponent by liquefying the part of the sword that would clash with the guard and reforming it the instant that the sword is past the opposing guard. In the event that the sword is damaged, the Mōfu [Morph] technique can be utilized and water from the user's body can be utilized to repair the blade.

This sword can also be completely liquefied and stored inside a Hozuki's body, allowing them to conceal the weapon when necessary; and while the sword is stored within the user, they may pull the sword out of any area of their body. In the event that the wielder is rendered unconscious this sword melds with the jelly-like body of the Hozuki, making it incredibly difficult to separate from a captured Hozuki.

Chakra Compatible [Chakra Conductive]
In addition to being compatible with the Hozuki clan's Hydrification technique, Samehada's guard is compatible with elemental chakra in general. As a result, this sword can be utilized with compatible elemental jutsu. When wind chakra is funneled into the blade for Hien specifically, it encapsulates the sword emanating from the guard. This wind chakra reduces air resistance allowing the sword to cut more quickly and silently; but most importantly it blankets the weapon, protecting from Raiton chakra, allowing it to clash with similarly enhanced raiton weapons or to be utilized with Ittoryu: Kiretsu [One Sword Style: Crack] to cut apart raiton ninjutsu.

By Default Conductive Grants the user these effects when elemental chakra is channeled through.

Katon – The metal becomes warmer to the touch, not devastating effects but painful.
Fūton – Allows more buoyancy and lightness to be swifter in small degrees.
Suiton – Flexible and absorbs a minuscule amount of impact.
Raiton – A slight enhancement to sharp edges as well as developing some static.
Doton – Small increase in weight and durability.

Toru was not certain he liked how easily this one man was able to take on this technique that was by design meant to put down one or multiple enemies. But, alas, he had to deal with it. Especially when he caught sight of the hand seals being performed to try and really hurt him hard, he was quick a mixture of reflexes and instinct making him move... Well as much as he could since he was partially suspended in the air from the attack he had executed.

It helped, of course, that everything was just a bit more heightened with his cloak it definitely aided in his fearsome appearance and durability as well. One of the tails he had would help him change trajectory out of the way of the attacks in one swoop, it grabbed onto a jagged part of the pillar and toss him off to the side making certain that he was out of the way of all of those insane attacks. He *really* did not want to take those at point blank range, even if he could withstand on durability alone the pain would have not been nice to try and endure.

The teen was starting to fall now and made himself into a ball to speed up his trajectory down, forming hand seals quickly to summon a katon kage bunshin, the clone would immediately begin to climb the tower in an attempt now to mount an attack on the group using a sweeping attack with its sword to try and bisect them all in half.

Clone immediately begins to climb pillar from what is now their back side to use Kumo-Ryu Mikazukigiri [Cloud-Style Three days' Moon Beheading] if hit and thus dispersed the clone will explode in a ball of fire and likely take everyone nearby with it.

Everything was going exactly the wrong way.

As Toru’s thrusts tore through the back man’s body, he found that the boy-Kage’s strength was quite a bit greater than he had anticipated, his sword piercing through bone and flesh in spite of his attempt to mitigate the damage, killing him far faster than he thought it would. As such, when the teen drug himself down, taking advantage of his chakra cloak to generate maneuverability where there ought to be none; he flew downwards, the combination of jutsu impacting where he had been not a moment before in a catastrophic explosion that sent shrapnel, viscera, and dust in every direction.

With their foes seemingly dead, the quartet of bandits took in a single breath, lowering their guard for a moment to rest their tired reserves and mentally prepare to help engage on the sole remaining enemy… and that single moment of hesitation cost them. Toru’s Katon Clone emerged from amidst the smoke, its sword flashing in a burning arc that beheaded the two men before it in a flash- and when their allies reacted, swinging at it with bare hands in a panic, the clone did not try to dodge, dispersing, not in a puff of smoke, but in a conflagration of flames that, while not near as massive as the explosion that rocked the pillar before, was still more than enough to kill the men who remained atop the tower.

And still, the real Toru fell, spinning in a ball towards his next destination.

As for Mizuki, their quick reflexes proved to be enough to avoid getting scorched by the wall of Raiton that formed in front of them, but not quite enough to get out of danger fully. The kunai wielding man below them had not been idle while they fled, charging up the tunnel as quick as he could, and as such was close enough to notice the Houzuki’s movement, his hands flashing out as he threw both kunai towards the Tokubetsu Jounin before shouting out loud, voice echoing across the battlefield as he formed a single seal. "Tama, move!”

Tama, the foe who had cast the Raiton wall, formed a single hand seal on instinct, chakra surging as they leapt up in a Shunshin, which launched him well into the air- just in time for the kunai to explode in two huge balls of fire, which were met shortly after with the remaining foes prepared jutsu as well, a cavern of Doton forming around Mizuki as cutting waves of Fuuton slamming into the area, only to be overlapped by not one, not two, but five orbs the size of a small boulder, each condensed and swirling with power.

All of these jutsu converged on Mizuki, slamming down with enough force to shake the ground, splintering rock and showering mud everywhere as the quintet looked to see if their foe was slain… or if they would need to keep pounding away to get what they wanted.

By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, compounding in exertion and difficulty each time. with any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion. The hand seal for this technique must be held until the shinobi reaches their destination, making it impossible to utilize other techniques regardless of any preparation.

The Jutsu is then released as the caster exhales, directing the Fūton chakras with their head movements. Many, very sharp blades are then produced, combining to form a series of large "X" shapes. DESCRIPTION: With this suiton technique, the shinobi cast several condensed spheres of suiton around their body. Each sphere of suiton chakra is highly condensed and powerful, with the ability to cut through rock and as strong as metal. The shinobi can control these spheres of suiton in a certain direction to charge an attack of powerful suiton. They can cause smash boulders, create huge holes on the ground, rock and ultimately if attacked directly can turn out quiet devastating. The shinobi can create as many of these spheres as their chakra can take at once, however the standard is around five powerful orbs - more will lead to a less powerful attack per orb, while less while create a more powerful sphere. These orbs travel at high speeds and are a powerful hit, making it possibly a deadly technique if hit with all five consecutively.
